The song, “Miss You When You’re Gone,” is a mid-tempo track that continues to showcase Myles’ lyrical ability to create a composition that resonates with its listener. The song talks about a relationship that is growing apart as Myles sings: “This is gonna hurt like hell, I know too well.” The music video is an animated masterpiece from the mind of Kennedy and longtime animated video collaborator Ollie Jones. Sitting in the Top 20 at Active Rock, the song is the most spun single of Myles’ solo career and has become an instant classic among fans and program directors alike. The music video – with over 1.5 million views to date – was directed by Gordy De St Jeor (Mammoth WVH) and tells the story of a bullied and timid student who breaks out of her shell with the help of a teacher, janitor and school principal portrayed by Kennedy, Uddin, and Tournier in the school talent show. The music video is now available worldwide and can be seen HERE.
From the opening guitar riff of the title track “The Art Of Letting Go” to the haunting melody of album closer “How The Story Ends,” MYLES KENNEDY is back with a collection of songs that is sure to cater to old and new fans alike. The Art Of Letting Go marks the return of Myles, backed by his band comprised of Zia Uddin on drums and Tim Tournier on bass. The album is scheduled for release via longtime label home Napalm Records on October 11, 2024.

About MYLES KENNEDY: As a prolific songwriter, powerhouse vocalist, and proficient guitar player, MYLES KENNEDY tunes into the rhythm of his surroundings and goes with the flow. Fronting Alter Bridge, his soaring vocals, open-hearted lyrics, and airtight riffs have fueled the group’s global impact as a gold-certified, arena-filling force of nature over two decades-plus. On the microphone for Slash and The Conspirators, his towering range has consistently stunned audiences since 2010. Becoming a celebrated collaborator, he’s the rare presence just as comfortable on a track with Disturbed, Halestorm, and Sevendust as he is with Gov’t Mule and Darryl “DMC” McDaniels. It’s why he’s generated over one billion cumulative streams, earned gold and platinum certifications worldwide, uplifted countless fans, and KERRANG! christened him “one of rock’s finest vocalists.” It’s also why he’s carved out his own lane. 2021 saw him deliver his acclaimed sophomore opus, The Ides of March. It impressively notched a total of four #1 debuts across three countries, toppling the Billboard US Top Current Hard Music Chart, the UK Official Rock & Metal Chart and Official Independent Album Chart, and Canada’s Hard Music Albums Chart. Beyond generating 10 million-plus streams, it incited unanimous critical applause from American Songwriter, Guitar.com, LoudWire, Guitar World, and more. RIFF hailed it as “a fantastic and must-listen record,” while Classic Rock Magazine awarded it “4.5-out-of-5 stars,” going on to attest, “The Ides of March confirms Myles Kennedy as a musical powerhouse.” With two solo efforts under his belt and sold out headline tours in the rearview, a sense of keenly honed intuition guides his third full-length LP, The Art of Letting Go[Napalm Records], led by the single “Say What You Will.”

In an interview with the Czech Project Backstage, Max and Igor “Iggor” Cavalera talked about the revival of their early Sepultura works through their project Cavalera. While they continue to release new material under Cavalera Conspiracy, they have decided to re-record Sepultura’s early work under the Cavalera name. The goal? To honor their musical past while maintaining the energy and spirit of the original Sepultura.
In the interview, Igor explains:
“It can be a bit confusing for newcomers. With Cavalera Conspiracy, Max and I write completely new songs. Under Cavalera, however, we re-record older works and perform them live. So, it’s two sides of the same project, but with different focuses.”
“At the end of the day, it’s about the music that Max and I have made since the early days of Sepultura. Cavalera represents the essence of our shared history. There are some differences between the projects, such as the re-recordings with Cavalera and the creation of new music with Cavalera Conspiracy, but at its core, they remain the same project,” he adds.
Max also emphasized the importance of the original Sepultura spirit:
“Everything comes from the same root. The same spirit we had back then is still here today. And the most important thing – and I think the fans feel this – is that the spirit of the original Sepultura is also present in Cavalera. People wanted to feel that essence, and that’s what we’re achieving with these re-recordings. With Cavalera Conspiracy, we’re creating new music, which we will continue to do, but with Cavalera, we can perform the classic Sepultura material live.”
Despite the name change, the Cavalera brothers still see themselves as the keepers of the legacy they built decades ago with Sepultura. After the classic lineup dissolved in 1996, Max left the band, and Igor followed later in 2006. The brothers reunited in 2007 under the name Cavalera Conspiracy. With both projects, they aim to keep the original spirit of the band alive.
“We plan to keep going for a long time. None of us are thinking about retirement. We’re musicians, we’re rockers – life artists, as they say,” Max concludes.
Hamburg, Germany-based heavy metal veterans PARAGON have announced the release of a brand new studio album, entitled “Metalation”. Slated for a release on November 8, 2024 through Massacre Records, the album pre-sale is now available at: https://lnk.to/metalation
A music video for their first single, the album opening track “Fighting The Fire”, is now premiering below! “A typical and fast Paragon opener, except that we spiced up the chorus with a nice catchy melody to support Buschi’s vocal line,“ says bassist Jan Bünning. “The guitar melody was there first. As far as I remember, we haven’t done something like this before. Furthermore this song features lots of double-bass and screaming guitars – the way speed metal should be played!“
Their new album “Metalation” was one of the most difficult albums to make, according to PARAGON‘s Jan Bünning, as the band almost broke up in the time between the release of the band’s previous album “Controlled Demolition” and the present day.
Bünning and Martin Christian started working on new song ideas in the winter of 2019 and then the pandemic rocked the world and brought the majority of band activities – ranging from live gigs to rehearsals – to a halt. But still, both continued writing new songs and in the end of a long process, nine songs were ready to be recorded for “Metalation” and the first vocal demos were recorded last year. For this album, PARAGON decided to record the guitars, bass and drums on their own.
Whereas “Controlled Demolition” was a very hard and fast offering, PARAGON weren’t keen to repeat this pattern once again and instead decided for the new album to make it sound a little more melodic and versatile, just like in their old days. “Metalation” was produced with Piet Sielck, who also mixed and mastered the album.
Due to the tensions connected with the pandemic and ockdowns, guitarist Günny left the band in the late summer of 2022 and so did his replacement as well as drummer Sören, who left the band for personal reasons. The remaining band members toyed with the idea to release one final album and to play some farewell shows with Martin on guitar and his son Jason Wöbcke on drums, and then to disband PARAGON. Sometime after Easter 2023, though, Jason joined PARAGON permanently on drums and Martin decided to stay as well.
The band’s chemistry is better than ever, so it’s no surprise that everyone is very satisfied with how the new album turned. PARAGON simply can’t wait for everyone to listen to the new album and they are eager to hit the stages again!

Rising heavy metal sensation MYSTIC BLADE is thrilled to unveil their latest sonic assault, “Turn the Page”, along with an astonishing lyric video. This powerful track is the second single taken from their highly anticipated album, “The Master Is Inside,” set for release on October 18th, 2024, via Wormholedeath.
“Turn the Page” is more than just a banger—it’s an anthem for anyone who’s ever made mistakes, felt the sting of regret, and needed that reminder to pick themselves back up. The song hits heavy both musically and emotionally, with lyrics that push you to move on from past mistakes and see life as a series of chapters. Mystyc Blade delivers that raw, gut-punch of emotion while still leaving you feeling empowered by the end. This one’s for everyone fighting their own battles.
“The Master Is Inside” is a deeply personal and dynamic album that explores a wide range of emotions and themes. Each of the 11 tracks stands as its narrative, touching on personal experiences, reflections on life and death, storytelling, and even environmental concerns. Musically, it’s a rich fusion of intense riffs, haunting melodies, powerful solos, and a cinematic atmosphere. Tracks like “Pyramids and Mystery,” “Song of Butterflies,” “Forever Alone,” and the title track “The Master Is Inside” carry a cinematic quality—you can close your eyes and visualize the story unfolding like a movie. Overall, it’s a mature and reflective album, centered on resilience, facing inner demons, and finding meaning through struggle.”
