Following the singles “Innocent” and “Saint & Sinner” from Dead End Finland‘s upcoming sixth studio album, the band is now releasing a single called “Adrenaline.”
While the previous single “Saint & Sinner” showcased the band’s more modern style and the album’s first release “Innocent” demonstrated DEF’s ability to write gigantic and grandiose metal ballads, “Adrenaline” represents the band’s more straightforward expression. “Adrenaline” pushes forward like a train. It echoes our earlier work but with our current sound. This represents the “try not to mosh” section of the upcoming album,” rambles Santtu Rosen in his overalls while shoveling chicken shit on his new farm.
Dead End Finland is a melodic metal band from Helsinki founded in 2007. The lineup, which has remained unchanged since the beginning, has enabled the band’s sound to develop into its current rich form. Dead End Finland is difficult to place into any specific genre, and in the songs you can hear tones from classical music to death metal. During the years, the band’s style has become even more bombastic and melodic. The compositions have gained more depth and insight. The upcoming sixth album takes the band in a more modern direction, although Dead End Finland’s recognizable sound and basic elements are still easily heard.

Samantha Fish is unstoppable in 2024, unveiling “Crowd Control” (Alternate Version), a dynamic three-song E.P. that reimagines her electrifying tracks “Faster,” “Crowd Control,” and “Better Be Lonely.” Known for her commanding stage presence, Fish amplifies these fan favourites with the raw, untamed energy that defines her. At the core of this release is a bold self-exploration—one of empowerment, vulnerability, and facing inner demons.
Recorded during a live performance video shoot in Nashville, the tracks burst to life with blistering guitar solos, dynamic vocals, and rebellious energy and capture the magnetic stage presence that has become Fish’s hallmark. Originally featured on her chart-topping 2021 album Faster, these new renditions breathe fresh life into the originals, with Fish’s journey mirroring the theme of empowerment that runs through the collection.
For Fish, live performances are where her music truly comes to life. “Making albums is one of my favourite things to do; it’s a chance to reinvent myself and my sound,” she says. “But the stage is where we bring the songs to life. I feel I connect the most with my audience from the stage. There’s something uniquely special about that energy—raw, unpolished, with no big fixes or edits. It’s about what you can do with the moment, and I think capturing that is crucial.” With the release of her live tracks, fans can now experience that energy wherever they are, a reminder of the magic she creates on stage.
2024 has been a standout year for Samantha Fish, highlighted by a Grammy nomination alongside collaborator Jesse Dayton for their album Death Wish Blues. The record debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Charts, holding that spot for three consecutive weeks, marking Fish’s fifth chart-topping album. Over the summer, she toured with Slash on his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Tour and opened for The Rolling Stones during the final stop of their North American tour. This fall, she’s set to join the Experience Hendrix tour, sharing the stage with blues contemporaries like Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Eric Johnson, and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. With a relentless work ethic, Fish performs nearly 200 high-energy shows a year, ensuring her unique blend of raw blues continues to captivate ever-growing audiences.
In November, Fish will headline the Ruf Records 30th Anniversary Tour, celebrating the label’s legacy and its dedication to shaping the future of blues music. The diverse line-up features Canned Heat, Mitch Ryder, Bernard Allison, and Ghalia Volt, each representing different facets of the blues spectrum. As a leading voice in the genre, Fish’s role in the tour cements her status as a trailblazer, keeping blues music vibrant while honouring its rich history. Kicking off on November 7th in Pittsburgh, the tour promises an exciting celebration of the blues for both longtime fans and new listeners.
Samantha Fish has gained widespread recognition gracing the covers of Guitar World and Vintage Guitar and receiving critical acclaim from major publications. The New York Times describes her as “one of the most promising young blues performers working,” praising her punchy vocals and energetic guitar work. No Depression lauds her versatility, stating, “Samantha Fish can take you on a journey through country, blow your blues away, or slam you with some raucous rawk.” Garden & Gun hails her as “one of the new guitar greats,” and Guitarist Magazine agrees that Fish “is a force to be reckoned with.”

Swedish blues-rock band CIRKUS PRÜTZ presents the official video for ‘Boogie Woogie Man’.
The video was drawn by Erwan Lengline and is reminiscent of the classic Hanna Barbera TV series Scooby Doo from the 70s with dancing skeletons and other ‘scary’ things.
The song is taken from the 2022 release ‘Blues Revolutuon’. The band is currently working on new songs for the fourth studio album.
With their roots in blues, hard rock and punk, CIRKUS PRÜTZ are not afraid to break the rules. Nobody tells them what they should or shouldn’t do. They push the boundaries and break new ground.
Cirkus Prütz take us straight from their Swedish homeland on a hot road trip through Texas with Queens Of The Stoneage, Muddy Waters and ZZ Top on the car radio.

Iconic rock musicians Billy Morrison, Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour), and legendary guitarist Steve Vai have teamed up to unleash their latest single and music video, “Incite The Watch.”This dynamic release is the fifth single from Billy Morrison’s recently launched solo album, The Morrison Project, available now through TLG | ZOID | Virgin Music Group.
This single follows Morrison’s release, “Crack Cocaine,” a riveting collaboration with legendary icons Ozzy Osbourne and Steve Stevens that skyrocketed into the nation’s top of the Active Rock Mediabase chart at #1 earlier this year.
“Incite The Watch” was created utilizing a combination of traditional artist drawn and animated characters and designs, with concept driven AI imagery using a new cutting edge application called CineTech. This was done by inputing the script into CineTech which broke it down into individual scene descriptions. Detailed prompts were then input based on the scene descriptions to create background images for each scene which could then be further enhanced to generate the desired appearance. After this was achieved, hand drawn storyboards were uploaded into CineTech which were integrated into the enhanced prompts to achieve the exact imagery needed. Once those images were achieved, CineTech’s ShotSheets feature combined those images into organized PDF files. The files were uploaded into RunwayML to animate and enahce the images and finally input into DaVinci Resolve for final touches, grading, and visual effects. Using CineTech allowed for the creation of a visually compelling product on a shorter timeline without sacrificing quality.
“Billy and I have known each other for so many years and we’ve done many performances together, it was only a matter of time before we put together something original and fascinating. Alternatively, I’ve been a Steve Vai fan since I was 15, and never thought I’d ever get the chance to do something amazing with him. Enter the great Billy Morrison who got both Steve and I on INCITE THE WATCH! I’m so stoked to be a part of this album with so many great artists and I can’t wait to see what happens next.” –Corey Taylor
“Billy Morrison is always getting into some kind of intense and creative musical mischief, and this record is the evidence of that. When he sent me the track “INCITE” I was very eager to contribute to it. It is slamming and crushing, and the energy of the track is palpable. It’s nice to be part of his mischief.” –Steve Vai
“The combination of Corey Taylor and Steve Vai on a Billy Morrison song is insanely exciting for me! This track started life as a piano riff from Erik Eldenius and once we had Corey’s fantastic vocal on the song, there was only one man we wanted to tackle the three key change extra long solo section—and luckily Steve said yes!”
“Incite really feels like an opus—a journey. It twists and turns, hits some unexpected changes and sections and resolves into modern rock heaviness and I am extremely proud that the end result appears on The Morrison Project.” –Billy Morrison

THE MORRISON PROJECT was produced by Billy Morrison, mixed by Barry Pointer, and mastered by Dave Donnelly. The songs on the album were recorded in Los Angeles at various studios and were written by Billy Morrison in collaboration with his guests.

Formed in Germany in 1969, Nektar favored extended compositions and concept albums over the constraints of pop. They were among the progenitors of the progressive rock movement of the 1970s as well as the jam-band scene that arose in the late 1990s. Their sound traveled well to the States, where they enjoyed Top 40 success with “A Tab in the Ocean” (1972) and “Remember the Future” (1973). Nearly 20 albums later, the band’s artistic and personal charisma has earned them masses of devoted fans along with their album “The Other Side” (2020) which was Number 1 on Amazon Progressive Music. For over half a century, Nektar has been the guiding star for countless fans, leading them on mesmerizing expeditions through the vast expanses of the cosmos and the depths of the ocean. With their unique fusion of progressive rock and stunning visuals, these trailblazing prog-rock legends have ignited the imaginations of generations.
