With ‘Forsaker’, Doomcrusher unleash a relentless metalcore assault that cuts straight to the core of betrayal, self-destruction, and personal rebirth. The latest single from the German heavy music supergroup is an uncompromising statement of resilience, transforming inner turmoil and emotional scars into a devastating display of modern Metalcore aggression.
Featuring members of renowned German acts Any Given Day, Rage, and Betontod, Doomcrusher combine decades of collective experience with a fresh and uncompromising vision. Since their formation, the band has quickly gained momentum within the heavy music scene, amassing more than 2 million streams across digital platforms and establishing themselves as one of the most promising new forces in modern metalcore. At its core, ‘Forsaker’ is a song about breaking free. It captures the painful realization that some people, relationships, and even parts of ourselves can become toxic enough to hold us captive. Through brutally honest lyrics, the track explores the feeling of being trapped in an endless cycle of self-doubt, chasing shadows while becoming a slave to your own thoughts.
French modern metal force Revnoir return with their most ambitious release to date; ‘Alchemised’ ft. Carpenter Brut, an explosive new single that fuses crushing metalcore, industrial intensity, and an unforgettable chorus destined to stay lodged in listeners’ minds long after the final note fades.
Elevated by a highly anticipated feature from internationally acclaimed synthwave and dark electronic pioneer Carpenter Brut, ‘Alchemised’ blurs the boundaries between metal, industrial music, and cinematic storytelling. Massive riffs collide with pulsating electronic textures, fractured rhythms, and hypnotic melodies, creating a track that feels equally at home on festival main stages and in neon-lit underground clubs. Lyrically, ‘Alchemised’ explores obsession, temptation, and transformation. Set against a venom-lit backdrop of desire and destruction, the song follows two souls caught in a toxic chemistry they cannot escape, drawn together by their flaws, their sins, and their inevitable downfall. Revnoir channel this emotional chaos into a cathartic anthem, balancing raw aggression with haunting vulnerability. The release is accompanied by a cinematic music video that expands the song’s dark universe through striking visuals, immersive storytelling, and a dystopian aesthetic that perfectly mirrors the track’s intoxicating atmosphere.

Industrial extreme metal pioneers ABORYM unveil the first details surrounding their forthcoming studio album “Metachaos”, now officially completed and mixed.
For this new chapter, the band assembled a formidable cast of guest musicians and long-time allies, each contributing to expand the sonic violence, claustrophobic atmosphere and experimental spirit that have always defined the ABORYM universe.
The guest line-up featured on “Metachaos” includes:
Patrick Mameli – founder, vocalist and guitarist of legendary Dutch technical death metal innovators Pestilence.
Chris Cannella – former Deicide guitarist and current member of Malevolent Creation, Autumn’s End and Bloodmoon Ritual, bringing his unmistakable destructive guitar approach to the album.
Tommy Talamanca – Italian guitar virtuoso, keyboardist, producer and sound engineer, internationally known for his work with cult progressivedeath metal act Sadist.
Noralf Venås – acclaimed guitarist of Norwegian extreme metal force Helheim, formerly active in Syrach and War Pigs.
Tapio Wilska – iconic former vocalist of Finntroll and current member of Survivors Zero and Sörnäinen, lending his unmistakable voice to the sonic chaos.
“Metachaos” will also feature a special collaboration with Brisen (ex-Dungeon), among the pioneers of the Italian black metal underground during the early ’90s.
“ABORYM has always been about contamination, collision and chaos,” comment the band. “The musicians involved in ‘Metachaos’ are not just guests – they are artists and friends who helped us push the album into darker, harsher and more unpredictable territories.”
Conceived as a ferocious return to the industrial extreme metal spirit of “With No Human Intervention”, “Generator”, “Kali Yuga Bizarre” and “Fire Walk With Us”, “Metachaos” promises to be one of the most violent, disturbing and uncompromising records in ABORYM’s history.
Denver’s long-revered torchbearers of doom KHEMMIS have officially released their highly anticipated new self-titled album today via Nuclear Blast Records. Marking the band’s first studio album since 2021’s acclaimed Deceiver, Khemmis stands as a powerful reaffirmation of the band’s singular identity, blending towering riffs, haunting melodies, triumphant heavy metal heroism, and crushing emotional weight into one of the most compelling records of their career.
Khemmis—the follow-up to 2021’s acclaimed Deceiver—features eight tracks of unrelenting, monolithic heavy metal adorned by stunning artwork from Christopher Remmers. More than just another chapter, the record represents the band in their truest form: a celebration of heavy music, forged through camaraderie, conviction, and an enduring love of the riff.
Across eleven years, KHEMMIS have become one of modern metal’s most revered names, beginning with their 2015 debut Absolution and continuing through landmark releases like Hunted—named Decibel’s Album Of The Year—Desolation, and Deceiver. But while the band’s legacy is firmly established, Khemmis finds them energized by something more immediate: the joy of simply playing loud, heavy music together.
As Hutcherson explains:
“We decided early in the songwriting process that we wanted to write a tight, high-energy album that retained the essential ‘Khemmis sound’ while also embodying the joy of creating, experiencing, and loving heavy metal. Ours have always been deeply personal songs born from tragedy and sorrow; while the songs on Khemmis are still undeniably dark, they are not mined from our suffering. Instead, this record is a celebration of the music world that has sustained us.”
KHEMMIS will perform a special one-off show with ACID BATH in May before embarking on a headlining tour in early summer with support from NECROFIER and WRETCHED, followed by an excursion with MONOLORD soon after. Tickets and additional tour information are available at khemmisdoom.com/live.

About KHEMMIS:
After eleven years of albums and global touring, Colorado’s Khemmis have cemented themselves as pillars of modern heavy metal. Yet as they approach their fifth full-length, the band found something newly vital: the simple joy of creating heavy music together. Formed with no expectations, the group’s longevity has become its foundation, with guitarist/vocalist Ben Hutcherson describing the band as a rare source of stability and camaraderie. Since their 2015 debut Absolution, followed by the acclaimed Hunted, Desolation, Doomed Heavy Metal MLP, and Deceiver, Khemmis have built a legacy of towering, spiritual doom that continues to resonate with fans worldwide.
Despite changes—including members relocating and bassist David Small joining in 2022—the band emerged more focused than ever. Recording again at Flatline Audio in Colorado, the lineup of Hutcherson, Phil Pendergast, Zach Coleman, and Small leaned into renewed trust and chemistry, with distance paradoxically strengthening their bond. The addition of Small invigorated the rhythm section and encouraged experimentation, while the band rediscovered the excitement that defined their early days. That renewed energy fueled a collaborative atmosphere rooted in confidence, inspiration, and the shared thrill of simply playing heavy metal.
The resulting self-titled album is both a celebration and reinvention: a conceptually framed ritual of heavy metal that moves from the pounding “Invocation of the Dreamer” to the climactic “Benediction Tones,” balancing galloping aggression with emotionally resonant anthems. The record embraces extremity, catharsis, and joy in equal measure, complemented by new visual direction from artist Christopher Remmers. Through lineup changes, distance, and a shifting world, Khemmis remain unshaken—leaning into the music that defines them. Their self-titled album arrives June 12th, 2026 via Nuclear Blast, capturing the band in their truest and most energized form.
FLESHCRAWL unveil a torrent of ferocious bloodshed, chaos and power in their tenth studio album, Epitome of Carnage, out now via Distortion Music Group (DMG) – Powered by Reigning Phoenix Music. Accompanying the full length release is a rampage of gloom in the new music video for “Chapel of Guts”.
On “Chapel of Guts” FLESHCRAWL share, “with ‘Chapel of Guts’ we wanted to showcase the full spectrum of our sound. This track stands out from our more classic Swedish Death Metal tracks, making it the perfect contrast to the other singles and the album as a whole. It’s a short break from the more straight-forward tracks, offering a more dark contrast.”
“It digs a bit deeper into the Fleshcrawl roots, combining heavy, doomy passages with intense blast beats and a lot of dynamics. It captures that darker atmosphere we wanted to have on the record. It is Death Metal with a room to breathe and then to choke.”
On the writing process the band explain, “We didn’t force it into a specific direction; we just let the track develop its own flow and energy during the writing process.”
A foreboding darkness awaits in “Chapel of Guts”. A haunting, enveloping atmosphere swells and hurriedly subsides as the pace increases and intensity rises. As the heaviness ebbs and flows through chaos, it’s ferocious brutality leaves nothing in its wake.
The long-awaitedEpitome of Carnage is constructed on the foundation of an expansive career. FLESHCRAWL remain devoted to the death metal genre despite having encountered loss and change along the way. As the tenth full-length release, the new album stands as testament to FLESHCRAWL‘s unwavering creativity and drive. Arriving seven years after 2019’s Into the Catacombs of Flesh, Epitome of Carnagereveals a renewed vigor and power that bleeds through the track list.
Contained withinEpitome of Carnage are twelve vicious onslaughts that showcase FLESHCRAWL‘s unimpeded speed and power. Materializing alongside demonstrations of inescapable heaviness, explosive riffs, and melodic touches amongst the shadows, they leave behind no survivors.
Track Listing: 1. Blood Dominion 2. Chapel of Guts 3. Grave Messiah 4. Embers of Wrath 5. Committed to Suffer 6. Reign Forever 7. Chronicles of Bloodshed 8. Rebuilt from Flesh 9. Orphan God 10. Path of Thorns 11. Heralds of Death 12. Of Fire and Flesh
About FLESHCRAWL:
FLESHCRAWL was founded in the spring of 1987 in Illertissen, Germany, by Stefan Hanus and Bastian Herzog. Initially operating under the name Morgöth, the band adopted a markedly more extreme musical direction in 1990 and briefly performed as Suffocation. However, with the emergence of the American band of the same name and their impending vinyl debut, another name change became necessary. Thus, FLESHCRAWL was born.
Through decades of evolution, challenges, and perseverance, FLESHCRAWL has remained steadfast in its mission: delivering uncompromising, traditional death metal with authenticity, power, and unwavering conviction. In 2020, with a completely renewed and revitalized guitar lineup, the band entered the first songwriting sessions for their tenth studio album.
On June 11th, 2021, long-time vocalist Sven “Svenson” Gross passed away after a courageous battle with cancer that lasted over a year. His loss was a profound tragedy, deeply felt by his family, friends, and the entire FLESHCRAWL community. Despite this immense personal and professional blow, stepping back from their mission in death metal was never an option. The band began the search for a new voice to carry their legacy forward, and on October 15th, 2021, Borisz Sarafutgyinov was officially announced as FLESHCRAWL’s new and permanent frontman, ushering in a new chapter for the band.
Songwriting continued steadily throughout 2023, 2024, and into 2025, while the band maintained a strong live presence, performing at further renowned events such as Metal Gate Czech Deathfest, Hell over Aschaffenburg, Nice to Eat You Deathfest, Eindhoven Metal Meeting, Bucharest Deathfest, Heidelberg Metal Meeting, Braincrusher in Hell, Sick Midsummer, and the 70000 Tons of Metal cruise.
By 2025, songwriting for the successor to Into the Catacombs of Flesh (2019) was nearing completion. The band found a strong and capable new partner in Reigning Phoenix Music, securing a new label home for the release of Epitome of Carnage. In November 2025 FLESHCRAWL signed a worldwide deal with DMG.

Swedish metal newcomers XION are set to release their second album, „When Stars Collide“, on September 11th via Fireflash Records. XION’s fresh blend of speed and thrash metal sounds unique, and you can clearly sense the power, dedication, boundless energy and ambition of this young band.
Today, XION release the first new single “Zero Light” from the upcoming album ”It is one of the heaviest songs on the album. It’s fast, chaotic, and hits you right in the chest”, comments the band
The quintet was formed in 2022, when some of the members were still under 18, yet they were already playing with the same precision and energy as more established metal bands. Since then, the band from Falun – the hometown of acts such as SABATON, BROTHERS OF METAL, TWILIGHT FORCE and others – has taken the world by storm. The combination of the members’ young age and their extremely precise and virtuosic musical skills has made XION one of the most interesting and promising newcomers on the Swedish metal scene in many years.
In January 2024, XION released their debut album “Between Shadows and Gods”, produced by Johan Reivén (RAM, HOSTILIA, among others). They performed as the support act for IN FLAMES and the GENE SIMMONS BAND at the legendary “Dalhalla Arena” and played at several festivals, including “Gefle Metal”, “Sweden Rock Festival” and the “Sabaton Cruise”. Their concerts have been highly praised. Sweden Rock Magazine rated one of their live performances 9/10, and their performance at the “Sweden Rock Festival” itself received a rating of 4/5. In 2023, the band also won the “Imagine Sweden” music competition.
In June 2025, XION released the single “Wasteland of Time”, produced by Jonas Arnberg (METHANE, DEMONICAL, among others), who is also producing the band’s upcoming studio album, “When Stars Collide”. This track also convinced Fireflash Records to offer them a record deal.
The upcoming new album “When Stars Collide” takes things a step further and showcases the band at their very best. The entire record is packed with surprises and metal anthems that stick in your memory. “This upcoming album consists of tracks we’ve worked on for a very long time and put a lot of effort into,” reveals the band – and every serious metalhead should definitely check out these young, up-and-coming stars. XION is the future!
“When Stars Collide” will be available on a CD Jewelcase, phantiom purple Vinyl (incl. 4-page insert & signed autograph card), digtal and via Bandcamp with various bundle options.
