AFTER THE RAIN is taken from the upcoming album DESTINATION PARADISE which will be released as CD, vinyl and digital on May 31st, 2024. It’s a very varied album that still contains the typical band trademarks, namely a crazy mix of catchy melodies, Hard Rock and eye liner!
Freiburg, Germany -based Death Metal act INNER SANCTUM has unleashed its highly anticipated new album “The Great Odd Ones”. To commemorate the release of their new record, the band has unveiled an intense music video for their latest single, “Juggernautic”. Watch the video below.
INNER SANCTUM about the track and video: “Juggernautic, another Death Metal attack full of steamrolling guitars, a captivating chorus, and an epic hymn-like outro, gets its own music video! It depicts the story of the olden days when the hierarchy of gods was not yet settled. Juggernautic, a false god mockingly referred to by the other gods as the intertidal, tries to claim the throne as the one true God.“
Since their formation in 2004, INNER SANCTUM has been forging a unique path in the Death Metal scene. Combining dynamic death riffs with heavy and heroic parts, the band has created a characteristic and individual sound and with three independently released full-length albums to date and two decades of live experience, INNER SANCTUM has established themselves as a force to be reckoned with.
The band’s brand new concept album “The Great Odd Ones” delves into the eerie realm of sea gods known as “The Great Odd Ones”, weaving a narrative that explores their terrifying influence on our world. Musically it pushes the boundaries of the band’s sound, taking a turn towards a more death metal and heavy focus while skillfully retaining the distinctive roots that define their music. Drawing inspiration from non-related personal experiences encountered by the band members and delving into the realms of Lovecraftian horror fiction, this album immerses listeners in a nautical, dark, and cryptic theme.
The album was mixed and mastered by Christoph Brandes at the renowned Iguana Studios and self-released by INNER SANCTUM. “The Great Odd Ones” is available for purchase at THIS LOCATION

The band had this to say about their third single:
“Lullaby expresses the emotions we go through at some point in our lives when we experience the loss of a loved one. We hope you can connect with this track as much as we did when writing it and I hope it brings a smile or two and warmth when you hear the lyrics. Writing these lyrics definitely brought some pretty personal memories back and it helped me to relive those precious moments again through song writing.”

“Kruunu” is the third and last single of the upcoming album of UNBORN GENERATION. The gloomy composition carries the story all the way from the beginning to the end of the song without giving any hope along the way. The song tells the story of how the crown is too big and heavy for a despot to carry. The false image of a better tomorrow created with the help of power and violence begins to crack, and the people rise to the barricades. Power must change, even if by violence.

UK/ FR crossover aggressors Cage Fight have released a video for ‘My Dreams’, a single version of the emotive track taken from the band’s self-titled debut album, out now via Candlelight Records.
On the track, guitarist James Monteith commented: “The original version of ‘My Dreams’ is a slow building, almost proggy track that closes our debut album and it was never intended as a single. However, it’s been a big hit live so we reworked it into a snappy more immediate song, and we felt it worked so well it was worth releasing to the world. It also serves as a nice transition to our new music which has taken a darker turn.”
Vocalist Rachel Aspe commented on the video: “Filmed at BTS Audiovisuel – Lycée Suge in Paris, director Alex Stark (who is also the guitarist in our good friends Gravity) captured the misery and struggle of the song perfectly. It visually represents feelings of isolation and when fighting forward, internal battles, and understanding meaning and purpose. Persevering in the face of life’s challenges and defeating internal demons.”
Directed by Alexandre Stark, check out the video here:
The single is released ahead of a number of festival appearances in 2024, as well as the band’s first club show in Belgium.
Currently announced dates:
27 Mar: NO Inferno Fest 06 Jun: PL Mystic Festival 20 Jun: BE Fontaine-l’Évêque, MCP Apache (headline) 21-23 Jun: – DE Full Force 28 Jun: UK Funeral Fest (headline)
On new material, James concludes: “Our second album is about 70% written and we’re very excited to get in the studio to record it later this year. We wrote the first album in 6 months of knowing each other and it was born from pure chemstry, but now we’ve had a few years to really discover our sound, which is deeper, darker and more agressive. We can’t wait to unleash it on the world!”
