Metalcore group FRAGMENTED TRANQUILITY have released their new online single Dreamers Die Alone on all major digital platforms.
The band had this to say about Dreamers Die Alone; “We wrote this song about self worth. What will you do with your life? What kind of impact are you wanting to make? What will your legacy be? Will you just go through the motions until you fall? Or will you become something of your dreams and give the world something to remember you by?”
Fragmented Tranquility specialize in progressive djenty grooves and hammering breakdowns, they combine heavy, technical riffs with crushing drum work and in your face vocals.

The moment when the New York Dolls hit the Big Apple’s teeming music scene in 1971/72 has been immortalized not only by filmmakers and music historians but also in the hearts and minds of every garage/punk rock music fan. For good reason too, the moment crystallized a monumental shift in American music, and proclaimed the rise of a young, charismatic guitarist/performer/songwriter whose impact would extend throughout the next two decades to come. His name was JOHNNY THUNDERS and a brand new CD box set, entitled From The Beginning To The End, chronicles his career, first his early rise to power with the pre-Dolls project Actress through a late ‘70s solo gig at Max’s Kansas City to his final recordings made just prior to his untimely death in 1991.
The real gem of the box set is the final disc, which features several ultra rare demo recordings that legions of Thunders’ collectors have prized for years. In his final days, as the years of hard and wild living had started to catch up, a cash-strapped Thunders made a deal with his then manager Jeff Grabow to whom Thunders was indebted. In exchange for money owed, Thunders gave Grabow a set of tapes that would constitute the final recorded output of one of rock music’s generational talents. Now, these recordings have been collected on Finally Alone: The Sticks & Stones Tapes, a title that nods towards Thunders’ first solo album So Alone, and made available in the box set as well as released on digital platforms today!
The entire From The Beginning To The End 3CD set comes in a clamshell box with each disc housed in its own full-color sleeve and packaged with a gorgeous full-color 28-page booklet featuring loads of photos and liner notes from music journalist Dave Thompson. All in all, this is a compilation that deserves a place in the collection of any self-respecting music fan.

Hailing from New York, New Jersey & Pennsylvania, North Eastern U.S.A. KINGS NEVER DIE walk the line between positive, uplifting messages and dead serious subject matter. A musical and lyrical mix of Hardcore, Punk, Metal with chat or sing along vocals. In the band’s words, “We love making music together and this is what gets spit out”. Comprised of members, Dylan Gadino (vocals) Dan Nastasi (guitar/add vocals) Danny Schuler (drums) Larry Nieroda (guitar) & Evan Ivkovich (bass).
Some may recognize Dan Nastasi from his past work as original “Dog Eat Dog” (ABK era) and before that “Mucky Pup”. Danny Schuler obviously as drummer in “Biohazard” and Evan “ONE” Ivkovich and bass player in “Wisdom in Chains”. Although fans of those bands are sure to not be disappointed, KINGS NEVER DIE want to completely stand on their own regardless of their resume of bands. Nastasi add’s, “This is all about what we are doing now, although we love and respect the people and bands we have played with, past and present, people should only judge Kings Never Die on this new album and The Now. Of course, we hope people who enjoy what we’ve done individually in the past dig it, but make no mistakes, there are no shortcuts or riding on past successes. We have cultivated this band from the ground up, we’re putting the work and love what we are doing and what we created here.”

Co-written by the Go-Go’s Jane Wiedlen and The Specials/Fun Boy Three’s Terry Hall, this is a special song that Suzy and Simon have always loved.
It started out as a jam in the studio when the wonderful Gabriele Del Vecchio was in Portugal tracking keyboards for The Language Of Curiosityalbum and transformed by the double harmonies, ethereal guitars and groove-laden drums from Steve Gibson.
The song was originally intended for release last year but due to the sad passing of Terry Hall, it was decided to wait out of respect until the time felt right.

DUN RINGILL return with the second single leading up to their double concept album ”Where the Old Gods Play Act 1 & 2”. ”Blood of the Lord” is an epic track by the Swedish 6-piece group on which Nordic folk influences are combined with doom and progressive metal to create huge, monumental soundscapes. The single tells the story about the concept album’s main character Lucia’s religious conversion from Catholicism to Protestantism.

“A big meaning needs a big sound!!!
This song has one of the deepest meanings on this conceptual album and it inspired us to write one of our most epic tracks ever!
To bring the feeling of the lyrics alive, we used choirs for the first time ever and accompanies it with three-harmony guitars, playful drums and super heavy bass lines to give the song a larger-than-life presence.
The lyrics are about Lucia, who has to convert from Catholicism to Protestantism to take the communion in order to stay in the congregation where she has found peace.
But is there peace within this Parrish?
Note that the chants of Blood of the lord, Body of the lord take a sinister twist towards the end to become Blood for the lord, Body for the lord….”

DALI VAN GOGH, the wildly popular Canadian rock band, has been nominated for two prestigious categories at the 2023 East Coast Music Awards. The band’s latest record, “New Blood, Old Wounds,” produced by multiple Juno and Grammy-winning engineer Eric Ratz, has been nominated for both Rock Recording of the Year and Loud Recording of the Year.
“We are incredibly honored and excited to be nominated for these awards,” said Isaac Kent, the band’s founder, and guitarist. “We poured everything we had into ‘New Blood, Old Wounds’ and worked incredibly hard to create something that we’re proud of. We’re grateful to the East Coast Music Association for recognizing our hard work and are humbled to be among such amazing artists.”
The East Coast Music Awards celebrate the best in East Coast Canadian music and recognize artists who have made significant contributions to the industry. This year’s awards and conference will take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia from May 4th-7th, and will feature performances and showcases from a variety of talented musicians.
Dali Van Gogh will be performing three times during the awards festival, with their first performance on May 5th at the Seahorse Lounge alongside fan-favorite Keke Beatz, and two performances on May 6th at Gus’ Pub and the Seahorse Lounge respectively.
“We can’t wait to perform at the awards festival and showcase our music for such an amazing audience,” added Kent. “We’re thrilled to be a part of this incredible event and are looking forward to sharing our music with everyone in attendance.”
