Eastblood has officially arrived with the release of their debut single “Grift Witch,” accompanied by a new music video. A four-piece metal band built on speed, volume, and zero compromise, Eastblood fuses thrash metal ferocity with punk and hardcore aggression—delivering ripping riffs, violent breakdowns, brutalizing drums, and nonstop shredding. “Grift Witch” was mixed and mastered by Nick Bellmore.
Featuring members of JASTA, Dee Snider, Generation Kill, and more, Eastblood strips metal down to its rawest form. No gimmicks. No polish. Just pure sonic violence.
“Eastblood is pure alchemy — speed and intensity colliding with melody and catharsis, without a single compromise. We can’t wait to unleash what we’ve built on the world,” says Charlie Bellmore.
Debut LP Burn What’s Left lands in 2026, alongside shows across the East Coast and beyond.

These songs, along with fan favorites from across their discography, anchor a show built for both die‑hard followers and new fans arriving from the anime world.
Guitarist, vocalist and rapper Jean‑Ken Johnny sees the MARKING NEW GROUND tour as a statement of intent for where MAN WITH A MISSION is headed next. “We are very proud to announce and more than looking forward to this upcoming tour. Hope to see our fellow fans and new friends at each and every country, especially the two new areas which are the first time for us to visit, Chile and Brazil. The fire within Swedish cult death metal band Internal Decay burns again. More than 30 years after their legendary classic album A Forgotten Dream (1993), new music arises in the form of a new EP titled Fires Of The Forgotten. The EP will be out on 27th February, 2026 via Hammerheart Records but is already streaming in full via Death Metal Promotion in advance of the release date.
Spawned in 1991, Swedish cult death metal band Internal Decay were an influential presence in the early death metal underground in Stockholm, Sweden, after playing thrash metal under names like Misery and Subliminal Fear since 1987. In 1991 the band entered Twilight Studios to record their eponymous demo. Released in the same year, the tape featured four tracks of raw, unpolished and crude death metal. It immediately gained loads of attention in the underground tape trading community and fanzines, leading to live gig bookings and a record deal.
Through relentless rehearsals and stage shows the band developed the unique brand of eerie, otherworldly melodic death metal that would eventually emerge on the classic 1993 album debut A Forgotten Dream. Recorded at iconic Sunlight Studios in 1992-1993, it was engineered by the legendary Thomas Skogsberg and mixed and produced by Lars Lindén. Despite recording at the literal ground zero of the Stockholm “buzzsaw” sound, the band deliberately moved in another sonic direction, opting for a more atmospheric sound. The album got great responses from the death metal scene and led to more and bigger shows, furthering the bands reputation as a fearsome live act.
Entering the studio again in 1994, Internal Decay recorded the single song ‘Et Cetera Ad Inifitum’ for a metal compilation. That album was never released in the end, and in the following months the band became inactive as the members went separate ways. Individually the members have made an impact in bands like Therion, Epitaph, Deformity, Pandemonic, Stormrider, A Canorous Quintet and Serpentine to name a few.
With a reissue of the debut album out in december 2025, and a new EP Fires Of The Forgotten releasing on Hammerheart Records in February 2026, Internal Decay are back and ready to unleash their distinctive style of darkly melodic death metal upon the world once more.
Founding members Mikael Vega and Kim Blomkvist still helm the band, with Linus Nirbrant joining on bass, Emil Hedman on drums and Björn Sundling on guitar completing the lineup.
For the past decade, syk have been relentless in their pursuit of innovation. The Italian band’s latest album doesn’t just push the envelope of progressive, groove-laden death metal. eartHFlesh tears it apart.
“This has to be a contender for ‘album of the year’”, Metal Temple wrote in 2024 upon sinking its teeth into eartHFlesh.
Today, syk are releasing a new drum playthrough for “the Cross”, one of the most concentrated displays of technical prowess and dynamic evolution on eartHFlesh. The song channels a sharp tech-death attitude on top of drummer Federico Leone’s groove-driven foundation. Leone balances restraint and escalation, reinforcing the hypnotic core of the riff while gradually introducing complexity through layered accents, shifting subdivisions and dynamic control.
“I chose The Cross for this playthrough because it shows how drum arrangements can shape and drive a song built around a hypnotic, obsessive riff”, Leone says. “The goal during the writing process was to create evolution and tension through subtle variations, adding new layers without taking space away from the guitars, before pushing into some of the fastest and most intense sections I’ve recorded, including high-speed double bass and blast work.”

syk is a metal band that came into existence in 2013 when Stefano Ferrian and Federico De Bernardi di Valserra decided to embark on a new musical venture following the disbandment of their previous project, .psychofagist. They were soon joined by the immensely talented vocalist Dalila Kayros, whose vocal skills left a deep impression on the band during live performances.
In May 2014, syk released their debut album titled Atoma through L’Inphantile Collective. The album caught the attention of Philip H Anselmo from Housecore Records, who not only expressed his appreciation for the band’s work but also offered them a deal for their second album. This second album, titled I-Optikon, was released on December 2, 2016, and was produced by Philip H Anselmo himself. The album was notable for its technical compositions that offered a unique and unparalleled listening experience, as Metal Trenches aptly described it.
Following the release of their second album, the band welcomed their long-time friend Marcello Cravini as a permanent member, taking on the role of the second guitarist. syk subsequently embarked on extensive tours across Europe in 2017 and 2018 and had the honour of being the official support act for GODFLESH during their Italian/Slovenian run in May 2018. Additionally, they also participated in the prestigious Roadburn Festival in the same year, further cementing their reputation as a promising metal act.
In 2019, Federico made the difficult decision to leave the band due to personal reasons, and shortly after, the global pandemic hit, disrupting the band’s search for a new drummer. However, towards the end of 2020, Mauro Maraldo joined syk as their new drummer, and with their lineup complete, they wasted no time in entering the studio to record their third album. This album, titled Pyramiden, was released on March 11th, 2022, through Housecore Records/Nuclear Blast. The album’s distinct and powerful character earned syk high praise, with MetalheadCommunity recognizing them as one of the most promising metal acts of the time.
Pyramiden received further acclaim when it was included in the ProgSpace Awards 2022 under the category of ‘Album of the Year 2022/Extreme Prog Category’, alongside esteemed acts like Fallujah, Allegaeon, Cult of Luna, and Conjurer. Unfortunately, soon after the album’s release, both Mauro and Dalila had to depart from the band due to personal reasons.
However, syk, known for their sonic evolution, decided to press on. Founding members Stefano and Marcello continued working on their fourth album while actively searching for new members. Alan La Roca joined the band as the bass player, solidifying the lineup, but the search for a drummer remained a challenge. It wasn’t until Federico Leone answered their call that the band found their new drummer. With the lineup in place consisting of Stefano Ferrian as the new frontman, guitarist, and main songwriter, Marcello Cravini on guitars, Alan La Roca on bass, and Federico Leone on drums, syk took on a new form.
In early 2023, syk caught the attention of Season Of Mist, who signed them for the release of their fourth album, eartHFlesh. This album not only marks the band’s latest offering but also signifies their first decade as a band. With a reinvigorated sound and an intensified sonic progression, syk continues to captivate listeners and solidify their place in the metal scene.

Mexican death metal veterans NECROCCULTUS are set to make their triumphant return with their new full-length album “The Afterdeath Blackness”, scheduled for release on April 24th, 2026 via Terror From Hell Records.
Proud standard-bearers of the purest and most solemn death metal tradition, NECROCCULTUS return with a record that both honors and revitalizes the genre’s roots. Forged through years of underground militancy and unwavering dedication to the death metal cause, the band channels its accumulated experience into an album that feels timeless yet fiercely alive. “The Afterdeath Blackness” stands as a statement of intent: death metal in its most essential, uncompromising form.
Across eight tracks, the album showcases everything that has defined NECROCCULTUS since their inception: massive riffs, carefully crafted songwriting and a dark atmosphere rooted in ritualistic heaviness. The compositions are elaborate without ever becoming self-indulgent, balancing complexity with raw impact and maintaining a natural flow that keeps the listener immersed from beginning to end. A constant sense of menace runs through the record, while a subtle veil of epic grandeur elevates the material beyond mere brutality.
Rather than chasing trends or modern gimmicks, NECROCCULTUS embrace the spirit of classic death metal, filtering it through decades of underground commitment and artistic growth. The result is an album that sounds both reverent and commanding, a work that speaks directly to devoted followers of the old ways while reaffirming the band’s place among today’s torchbearers of authentic death metal.

NECROCCULTUS was formed in 2003 as a five-piece band consisting of César (guitar), Omar (bass), Chago (guitar), Daniel (drums), and Isaías (growls). During the following three years, this original line-up recorded several releases, including the brutal full-length “Encircling The Mysterious Necrorevelation” (2005) for Sempiternal Productions (US), a 7” EP for Blood Harvest Records (Sweden), a three-way split CD with Sanctifier and Throneum on Warfuck Records (Colombia), and a split LP with Shub-Niggurath released by Iron Bonehead Productions (Germany).
Between 2006 and 2009, the band went through a series of line-up changes while continuing to perform live. Among their most notable appearances was “Glorifying the Great Beast” in 2009, where they shared the stage in Berlin, Germany, with bands such as Necros Christos, Kaamos, Graveyard, and others.
In 2012, NECROCCULTUS recorded another 12” EP, “Solemnelohim, Bringer Of Death”, once again released via Blood Harvest Records. Further line-up changes followed, and in 2020 the band unleashed the demo “Unburied Hellish Presences”, released by the Italian label Unholy Domain Records. Shortly after, due to the global pandemic, the band disbanded.
In 2024, founding member Isaías H. reactivated NECROCCULTUS alongside a new line-up: Roel (guitar), Néstor (bass), Alex (guitar), Dante (drums), and Isaías (growls). After performing several live shows, the band entered the studio between July and October 2025 to record their new abominable full-length, “The Afterdeath Blackness”, featuring eight tracks of bestial, unholy death metal.
