Swiss spheric rock trio BIRDLORD continue the ascent toward their highly anticipated debut album with the release of the new single “En Donde Me Perdí”, available now via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. Stream the track here: https://tidal.com/track/526315361/u
Taken from the upcoming full-length album Dreams Lie In The Eagle’s Eye, set for release on September 25th, 2026, “En Donde Me Perdí” shows one of the heaviest and most direct sides of the band so far. Built around thick fuzz guitars, driving bass lines and an infectious groove, the track combines psychedelic rock with raw alternative energy and a strong sense of movement.
Rather than turning inward, the song reflects on frustration with a cruel society and the feeling of losing yourself inside systems, numbness and the constant struggle between ethics and profit. Sung in Spanish, “En Donde Me Perdí” balances catchy hooks with dense walls of sound, shifting between hypnotic passages and explosive instrumental moments.
Since forming in Bern in late 2023, BIRDLORD have rapidly evolved from an ambitious underground project into one of the most compelling new names in the European psychedelic and progressive rock scene. The current lineup featuring Lily Lord, Gaia Giacomelli and Köbi Ferber has refined the band’s sound into something sharper, heavier and emotionally layered, balancing explosive energy with atmospheric depth.
With “En Donde Me Perdí”, BIRDLORD offer another immersive preview of an album destined to push their artistic vision even further. More details about Dreams Lie In The Eagle’s Eye will be revealed soon.

Aussie/German rock band Sweet Electric have released a brand new single, with a tragic set of circumstances surrounding it.
The song “I Remember You” has been dedicated to singer Brad Marr’s mother Debbie who tragically passed away on Tuesday 26th May just 4 days before it’s release, after a short but hard fought battle with Cancer. In a cruel case of life imitating art, the video clip, which features Brad in a hospital while the band watch over him was filmed just 1 week before his mother was diagnosed.
“My mum was always my biggest fan. We filmed this clip and then my Mum called with the news she was sick. I immediately flew to Australia. When I was there, she wanted to listen to the album and give her honest review as she always has. ‘I Remember You’ was her favourite song. I never showed her the video clip but I promised to dedicate the song to her. I am heartbroken and still in shock as we release this song, I love you Mum”
The band have not yet played the song live but will be touring in the second half of the year to promote the song and upcoming album titled “Something Something Disco” The album is available for pre order on the bands website and tickets for their album tour are on sale now.

Los Angeles rockers Crymwav (pronounced Crimewave) have a new single on deck…out now. For this release, Crymwav cover the Agent Orange classic, “Everything Turns Grey.”
Says lead singer/guitarist Roger Deering, “This song has resonated with me from the moment I first heard it all those years ago and it feels so relevant to today. It was the last-minute addition at the end of our last recording session to finish up our long-awaited LP. It just came together effortlessly and just felt right. I think we’ve done it justice. We are eager to let this out into the universe.”
Cymwav is the brainchild of lead singer/songwriter Roger Deering. The band were formed in Los Angeles in 2022 from the ashes of rockers Smash Fashion with roots very much set in the American hardcore scene of the 1980’s but also citing influences such punk, post -punk and goth alongside bands such as Thin Lizzy, UFO and The Ruts.
As to their incarnation, Roger explains it as follows, “I was staying in London about four years ago when a songwriting spree hit me. I wanted to channel the spirit of bands from that area – Hawkwind, The Clash, Killing Joke, Motörhead. I came back to LA with a fistful of songs, and Crymwav was born.”
Crymwav is: Roger Deering: Rhythm Guitar/vocals/bass Lloyd Stuart Casson: Lead Guitar/Vocals/Bass Pat Muzingo: Drums Bruce Braddock: Bass
Released last Friday, Soul Too Good is the second official single from Helsinki-based action rock band The Feral Kids. This time, the band showcases its versatility with a more sensitive track filled with soul and hit potential.
Soul Too Good is a timeless and relatable story about a relationship that ends despite good intentions. Beneath the surface lie misunderstandings, overanalyzing emotions, and broken communication.
With their new single, The Feral Kids creates a soundscape where the Scandinavian action rock tradition meets catchy melodies and a melancholic Nordic state of mind.
The song combines heavy riffs with melodic sensitivity. The Feral Kids proves that gritty rock music can be both aggressively energetic and delicately beautiful at the same time.
The band’s energetic debut single No Wall, released this spring, received significant media attention and has been played on numerous radio stations around the world.
ERADICATOR have released the new single “Ruins Of Rome” – Thrash Metal with a sense of history.
ERADICATOR channel the spirit of the thrash pioneers while taking a clear stance in the present. Without losing themselves in nostalgia, Seba, Robb, Zoppe and Pitti drive their sound forward as a tightly bound unit. With “Ruins Of Rome,” the new single, set for digital release via METALVILLE on May 29, the band makes a strong statement for the future of the genre.
Six studio albums, one live record and more than 250 shows ranging from underground clubs to festival stages have shaped the band’s distinctive style, rooted in Teutonic thrash and sharpened by Bay Area intensity. The next chapter is already being written: recording for album number seven is scheduled for fall 2026, with a release to follow in 2027.
“Ruins Of Rome” does not use the fall of the Roman Empire as mere historical backdrop, but as a reflection of modern developments. From the very first lines, Seba paints a bleak picture: “Centuries ago so proud, now Future’s light expired.” The message becomes even clearer: “History repeats itself if lessons won’t be learned.”
Yet, Seba, who composed and wrote the song, explains: “Sure, our themes are often socially critical and dark – but anyone who knows us knows there’s always a certain tongue-in-cheek element to it. It could all turn out very differently.” The track itself shows less mercy: the humor lingers only as a bitter aftertaste – and how it all ends? No spoiler!
Musically, ERADICATOR showcase not only their trademarks but also a refined sense of dynamics: razor-sharp riffs, memorable hooks and aggressive vocals collide with death-infused blast beats, growls and shifting tempos. Massive mid-tempo sections add a threatening, pounding atmosphere in dark harmony with the theme. For fans of Death Angel, Destruction, Exodus and Kreator: a blend of Bay Area force and Teutonic sharpness – both sonically and in attitude.
That studio work tells only half the story is proven by the band’s live track record in recent years: appearances at Burning Q Festival (with Angelus Apatrida and Evil Invaders), No Playback Festival (with Crisix and Riot City), Mise Open Air (with Onslaught and Crypta), and Mosh im Mai alongside Bonded, as well as Green Hell Festival, Masters of Cassel, Helmfest (with Firewind) and Rock & Metal Day’z – including a support slot for Night Demon.
“Ruins Of Rome” was produced by Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann (Orden Ogan, Asphyx) together with Seba Stöber. Mixing and mastering were handled by Jörn Michutta, known in the scene for his work with Morgoth. The cover artwork by Bianca Stöber features the “Plaguebringer,” the harbinger of doom and the band’s mascot, standing among the ruins of Rome.
Pitti sums up the band’s mission: “Our mission is to keep thrash metal from fading into retirement and to carry forward the legacy of our heroes.” For years, ERADICATOR have made it clear that a new generation is ready to carry the story of thrash metal forward – and “Ruins Of Rome” is the opening strike of this new chapter.
