The kings of Swedish sleaze are back to reclaim their throne. CRASHDÏET officially announces the release of their high-octane new studio album, “Art of Chaos”, arriving on May 8, 2026.
In a world that’s increasingly polished and predictable, CRASHDÏET returns to the gritty, unapologetic roots of glam and street metal. Art of Chaos is a masterclass in melodic mayhem, featuring ten tracks of soaring choruses, razor-sharp riffs, and the raw energy that has defined the band’s legacy for over two decades.
The Sonic Rebellion Continues
Recorded during the winter of 2025, the album captures a band that refuses to play it safe. From the anthemic title track to the sleaze-drenched ballads, “Art of Chaos” is the soundtrack to a world on the edge.
“We wanted to capture the feeling of things falling apart, but doing it with style,” says the band. “This record is louder, faster, and more honest than anything we’ve done before. It’s the beautiful side of the breakdown.”
Since their explosive debut in 2005, CRASHDÏET has been the vanguard of the Swedish sleaze rock scene. Known for their “live fast, die young” ethos and a relentless touring schedule, they have built a global cult following (the “Dietheads”) that remains one of the most loyal in the rock world.
Note on Physical Availability: Due to incredible fan support, pre-orders for the first edition of ‘Art of Chaos’ (CD/Vinyl) have officially hit ‘Sold Out’ status. A restock is already in production to ensure everyone gets their fix of Swedish Sleaze.
Metalcore band Tragic Intent have released their latest single “Watch Your Six” along with an official lyric video through Arson Theory.
“Watch Your Six” by Tragic Intent is a hard-hitting track that blends raw intensity with a message rooted in vigilance, loyalty, and survival. Drawing from the phrase commonly used in military and tactical settings—meaning “watch your back”—the song dives into the realities of betrayal, trust, and the constant tension of navigating hostile environments, whether internal or external.
Driven by aggressive instrumentation, pounding rhythms, and sharp, deliberate lyrics, “Watch Your Six” captures the feeling of being under pressure while refusing to break. The track balances chaos and control, pairing relentless energy with moments of reflection that highlight the emotional weight behind the message.
Lyrically, Tragic Intent explores themes of brotherhood and awareness—knowing who stands with you and who doesn’t. It’s a warning and a call to action, urging listeners to stay alert, stay grounded, and protect what matters most.
Forged in distortion and driven by raw emotion, this four-piece metalcore outfit emerged from Binghamton in 2024 with a mission to hit harder, sound heavier, and bring energy back to a scene that needed it. Fronted by the volatile and commanding presence of Steak on lead vocals, the band channels chaos and clarity in equal measure—balancing deadly high screams with moments of eerie vulnerability.
On lead guitar, Brandon carves through the noise with blistering solos and razor-sharp precision, while Dustin lays down the rhythmic backbone with crushing, down-tuned riffs that hit like a sledgehammer. Behind the kit, Sean is the engine—unleashing thunderous double kicks and explosive fills that push every track to its breaking point.
Shortly after forming, the band entered the studio with Randy Pasquarella to record their debut EP worth the journey then with Pablo Viveros to record the rest of their discography , capturing their raw intensity while sharpening their sound into something both punishing and polished.
Known for their commanding presence on stage, they don’t just perform—they take over. Every show is a high-energy release, blending aggression with a sense of fun that keeps crowds moving and coming back for more. Their music dives into themes of inner conflict, resilience, and the darker corners of the human experience, but their live shows remind everyone why they fell in love with heavy music in the first place.
Upcoming Shows July 17-18 @ New York State Metal Festival in Addison, New York July 25th @ Montage Music Hall in Rochester, New York w/ DED
Season of Mist is proud to announce a new partnership with HULDER, the Pacific Northwest-based dark black metal project, in a co-signing arrangement with longtime North American label 20 Buck Spin.
Founded in 2018 with the release of the Ascending the Raven Stone demo tape, Hulder has built one of the most consistent and uncompromising bodies of work in contemporary black metal. On debut album Godslastering: Hymns of a Forlorn Peasantry, Hulder’s distinct penchant for crafting harsh anthems of mystical grandeur and abyssic depth began to fully congeal, weaving threads of pagan folk, ethereal symphonic majesty and the scraping raw melodicism of the most discordant and ghastly kind. A pivotal 2022 saw the release of The Eternal Fanfare, a five-track mini-album marking a new phase in the project’s rapid development, followed by extensive touring across North America and the band’s first dates on European soil.
While black metal has evolved into myriad offshoots and subgenres, Hulder remains resolutely steeped in the genre’s destructive preeminence, rituals and traditions, carrying the torch of its origins and heritage. That fidelity to the form reached a new apex with 2024’s “Verses in Oath“, a record both unsparingly savage and wistfully evocative, its ancient sorrow-filled melancholy and seething spirit permeating every passage.
Named after the seductive forest creature of Scandinavian folklore, Hulder is the project of the Belgian-born musician of the same name, currently based in the Pacific Northwest. What began as a solitary recording endeavour in an uninsulated Portland garage has since grown into one of the underground’s most talked-about names—a live presence to match the records’ ambition, and a creative vision that has only sharpened with each release. It is precisely that combination of integrity and singular purpose that drew Season of Mist to the project.
“Few artists working in the black metal underground today carry the kind of integrity and singular vision that Hulder and Necreon have brought to this project,” the label notes. “We couldn’t be more excited to have them on board—and what’s in store will be worth the wait.“
In support of the forthcoming release, HULDER will embark on an extensive European summer tour, taking in headline shows and major festival appearances across Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Spain, Portugal and beyond. The run includes stops at Graspop Metal Meeting, Hellfest, Resurrection Fest and more. Full dates below.

ATMF proudly announces the release of the new album from FERALIA, titled “Ultima Requies”, set for June 26, 2026.
With this third full-length, FERALIA delve deeper into their singular vision of Black Metal, forging a work that resists easy categorization. “Ultima Requies” is neither rooted in old school orthodoxy nor aligned with the polished tendencies of contemporary production. Instead, it stands as a raw and evocative offering, where abrasive textures and ritualistic atmospheres converge into something austere, immersive and profoundly spiritual.
The sound remains anchored in a sense of the sacred, drawing from arcane and occult dimensions tied to the archaic Roman world. Each composition unfolds as a passage, evoking forgotten rites, liminal states and the tension between life and death, presence and absence.
The artwork of “Ultima Requies” reflects this vision, depicting a reinterpretation of the necromantic ritual of Erichto, the Thessalian witch described in “De Bello Civili” by Lucan. A figure feared even by the gods, Erichto was said to raise fallen soldiers from the battlefield during one of the most turbulent phases of Roman civil war. This imagery embodies the album’s core: a confrontation with death not as an end, but as a threshold to forbidden knowledge.
Following the path opened by “Helios Manifesto” and “Under Stige / Over Dianam”, FERALIA further refine their language, balancing raw intensity with a deeply contemplative undercurrent. The result is an album that feels both immediate and timeless, grounded in the physicality of Black Metal yet reaching toward something intangible and eternal.
The first single “Pharsalia” is now streaming HERE.

About RAVEN
JOHN GALLAGHER: Lead Vocals, Bass MIKE HELLER: Drums MARK GALLAGHER: Guitar, Vocals
RAVEN are that rare thing in music, true originals – cut these guys with a razor and they will BLEED true heavy metal – a more intense live band does not exist on this planet!
Hailing from Newcastle Upon Tyne in North East England back in 1974 (yes – 46 YEARS ago!!!) the brothers Gallagher cut their teeth playing the pubs & clubs until solidifying their line up in 1980 with drummer Rob Hunter.
The trio went on to release three of the most influential metal albums of the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) inspiring every band of that era and beyond. Basically, without Raven you just would not have thrash/speed metal…. after all, the band did give Metallica & Anthrax their first tours!
Following a tumultuous move to the USA, deals with Atlantic Records, indentured servitude and commercialism, Rob left the band in 1987 to be replaced by drummer extraordinaire Joe Hasselvander, who had made his name in cult doom band Pentagram, Savoy Brown and his own solo projects, adding a new dimension to the band.
In 2001, guitarist Mark Gallagher was involved in a near fatal accident – but fought his way back from the brink and the band proved they were stronger than ever! This renewed spirit and attitude was reflected in the title of their 2010 album “WALK THROUGH FIRE” and in the career overview DVD “ROCK UNTIL YOU DROP”.
2014 found the band opening for METALLICA (the band that RAVEN took on their first tour back in 1983) in Sao Paulo in front of 70,000 fans, and completing their finest album to date – ExtermiNation” which was released to universal acclaim from fans & critics alike in 2015!
After a serious heart attack in May 2017 Joe Hasselvander had to unfortunately bow out from the band.
While filling in on a number of shows, drumming phenomenon Mike Heller (Fear Factory, Malignancy) joined forces with the brothers Gallagher to lay waste to stages throughout the latter half of 2017…The chemistry between the three was undeniable – the addition of his prodigious technique & musicality instantly took the band up to a new level.
Following an insane 3 year blur of world touring the next RAVEN opus, “METAL CITY” was released into a pandemic scourged marketplace in September 2020, garnering both critical & popular acclaim as a game changing release for the band songs like “ Top of the mountain “ and the title track highlighted the deadly combination of the bands increasingly iconic songwriting along with Mike Heller’s nuclear propelled percussion excursions.
During the next few years the band delivered the metal goods across the globe .. themed tours covering their “WIPED OUT” and “ ALL FOR ONE” albums were a big success… the band were called on by old tour mates Metallica to help celebrate the life & legacy of Jon & Marsha Zazula (who managed both bands back in the early 80’s) at a tribute concert at the Hard Rock in Ft Lauderdale FL in November 2022.
Following a change of record label from SPV to Silver Lining in 2023; the band released their most searing album yet, the aptly titled “ ALL HELL’S BREAKING LOOSE” receiving universal acclaim from critics and fans alike. The following tour rolled into 2024, celebrating the band’s 50th anniversary as they toured across the globe from the UK to Europe, North America to South America, Singapore, Australia and Japan!
2025 saw the release of the 8 song EP “ CAN’T TAKE AWAY THE FIRE” raising the bar on metal mayhem one more time as a gift to the fans while the band work on preparing their next magnum opus!
Vancouver-based metal band, Spell, today releases its new LP, ‘Wretched Heart‘, via Bad Omen Records. A shadow-drenched journey through desperation and defiance, ‘Wretched Heart‘ sees Spell transform heavy metal into something urgent and human – gothic, cinematic, and hypnotic. Spell’s strongest record to date, ‘Wretched Heart‘ is the follow-up to the band’s 2022 LP, ‘Tragic Magic‘, an album hailed as a celebration of “the mystique and darkness within hard rock and heavy metal“.
In celebration, Spell has unveiled a beguiling video for its new song, “Exquisite Corpse“, which deftly blends infectious, arena rock melodies with theatrical, occult rock sensibilities. Equal parts shred and dread, “Exquisite Corpse” is a glorious example of the finely-honed meld of strident metal grit and devilishly catchy pop suss that Spell has made its own. Stream the video for “Exquisite Corpse“, created by Jamie Ward, at this location.
“It’s so easy to idealize the past and remember things in a way that was never really true,” says vocalist and bassist Cam Mesmer of the “Exquisite Corpse” lyrics. “Especially when we lose people, we can tend to think about them in a perfect way, and mourn the loss of an idealised imaginary person that never really existed in the first place“.
‘Wretched Heart‘ has met to radiant acclaim in the weeks leading to its release, the LP being hailed as “surely the most fun metal record of the year“, “Gothic, hypnotic, and thunderous“, “absolutely fantastic“, “a glorious heavy metal offering“, and “a strain of metal that falls somewhere between the early bat-eating years of the immortal Ozzy Osbourne and Opeth after it got tired of making hearse-black music for torching churches“.
‘Wretched Heart‘, in all its gory glory, embodies a very vital paradox – a record made by true believers who yearn for catharsis beyond. The oxymoron of anthems forged from steel, yet with a very human heart. Even the most cynical bystander will likely struggle not to be bewitched.
“Heavy metal can often be a regressive genre, almost by definition. But it doesn’t have to be!” emphasises Mesmer. “I think that getting set in your ways is death. I consider SPELL to be a heavy metal band, and therefore whatever music we make, will therefore be heavy metal, rather than the other way around, where you try to make your band fit into whatever narrow niche you think heavy metal is supposed to sound like“.
Spell‘s single, “Take My Life“, offers one of the most revealing entry points into the group’s latest chapter. The track stands as perhaps the starkest embodiment of the new album’s central tension – where classic heavy metal confidence collides with profound existential weight. As vocalist and bassist Cam Mesmer explains, “‘Take My Life’ is about an intimate encounter with death, and the power dynamics at play. Where I’ve had to make a decisive move, and been fearful, but others have given me confidence.”
“Take My Life” is a track that captures Spell at its most direct and dynamic. Stream a music video for “Take My Life“, directed by James Barry and Sean Edwards for Ramble Films, at this location.
The first track released from ‘Wretched Heart‘ was “Lilac“, an addictive and bittersweet track that channels both stadium-sized passion and wistful longing. Featuring a guest guitar solo by former Spirit Adrift, Carcass, and Angel Witch man, Tom Draper, “Lilac” dances with harmony-laden metal and synth-driven gothic chills. In the song, the titular flower forms an overarching metaphor for the ephemeral and transient forms of both nature and love. Stream a music video for “Lilac“, again directed by James Barry and Sean Edwards for Ramble Films, at this location.
“There are many things in life that disappear so quickly and will be gone immediately if we get preoccupied and forget to enjoy them and care for them” clarifies Spell vocalist/bassist Cam Mesmer before noting, “This song isn’t really about a flower“.
Spell is Cam Mesmer (vocals, bass, rhythm guitar, synthesizers), Al Lester, (vocals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, drums), Jeff Black (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Gabriel Tenebrae, (lead guitar, synthesizers).
