Kickin Valentina has been delivering loud, unapologetic rock ‘n’ roll since 2013, blending sleaze, attitude, and high-energy hooks. Formed in Atlanta, the band quickly gained international attention, signing with Mighty Music in 2015 and building a reputation for raw, no-frills rock.
Their albums “Super Atomic,” “Imaginary Creatures,” “Revenge of Rock,” and “Chaos in Copenhagen” have received worldwide acclaim, with “Imaginary Creatures” hitting multiple Billboard charts and “Revenge of Rock” reaching #6 on the Danish vinyl chart. Known for infectious choruses, powerhouse riffs, and a groove that hits hard, Kickin Valentina continues to fuel the fire of modern hard rock.
Their latest release, “Star Spangled Fist Fight,” is yet another explosive chapter in their ever-growing arsenal – louder, dirtier, and more defiant than ever.

A work, a transformation, a re-entry into the melancholic self – OPVS NOIR is in no danger of becoming an offspring of understatement, neither in its title nor in its musical opulence. And rightly so: Not only will it be the first album as a six-piece band, but it also marks the beginning of an entire album trilogy, set to be released in multiple editions, including, of course, strictly limited collector’s items.
Each volume contains 11 songs, totaling 33 tracks that not only conclude the delightfully eccentric chapter of Blood & Glitter, but also initiate an uncompromising return to the dark core of the band. While LORD OF THE LOST previously found themselves in the spotlight of vast open stages, OPVS NOIR Vol. 1, set for release on August 8, 2025 via Napalm Records, represents a confident descent into previously untouched emotional depths.
Chris Harms about the album: “Darkness, melancholy, loneliness – all words that often have negative connotations, that we may associate with danger, sadness and loss, and not without reason. But darkness can also be security, melancholy the warm and sentimental feeling of our memories, and loneliness becomes necessary silence, peace and inner contemplation. OPVS NOIR is a travel guide, or perhaps also a travelogue, through the dark sides of our inner world, which so often move precisely in the area of tension between what we emotionally categorize as positive or negative. And with Vol. 1, all of this is just the beginning of this 3-part journey…”
Get your copy of OPVS NOIR Vol. 1 HERE – available in multiple formats, including strictly limited editions!
OPVS NOIR Vol. 1 tracklist: 1 Bazaar Bizarre 2 My Sanctuary 3 Light Can Only Shine In The Darkness (& Within Temptation) 4 I Will Die In It 5 Moonstruck (& Stimmgewalt) 6 Damage (feat. Whiplasher Bernadotte) 7 Ghosts (feat. Tina Guo) 8 Lords Of Fyre (& Feuerschwanz) 9 The Things We Do For Love 10 The Sadness In Everything (feat. Anna Maria Rose) 11 Dreams Are Never Alone
OPVS NOIR is not only a musically exciting step but also a bold one! This becomes clear when looking at LORD OF THE LOST‘s immediate past: support for IRON MAIDEN on two European tours, followed by their first North American shows in over a decade, sold-out headlining tours, participation in the final of the EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2023, a #1 chart entry with the previous album Blood & Glitter, celebrated performances at the biggest festivals worldwide – they even had the honour of meeting King Charles in person. Hand on heart: How easy would it have been to keep riding this wave of success just a little longer? But that’s not how LORD OF THE LOST operates – the only constant remains change.
But what is the essence of LORD OF THE LOST in 2025? That is one of the questions OPVS NOIR Vol. 1 fearlessly begins to answer. Once again, the band proves not only musical excellence but also masterful craftsmanship: Produced by Chris Harms, recorded, mixed, and mastered at the legendary CHAMELEON STUDIOS in Hamburg, the 11 tracks hit with a force and brilliance that immediately transport us into a dark yet colourful ballroom. From there, the tone is set: Dark Wave Metal on an amphitheater scale.
Everything is new, yet every note feels familiar. Behind each chorus awaits a surprise, in every line, a new door opens to further uncharted paths within the LOTL universe. This band takes the expectations of its ever-growing fanbase and molds them into songs that transcend genre boundaries – and turn moments into monuments that carry us all along: No one lost behind!
OPVS NOIR Vol. 1: To be continued…

They made blasphemy sound fresh on their debut, but for their follow-up, Cryptopsy claimed the crown as the most vile band in all of death metal.
None So Vile established death metal as a truly vulgar art form. With each slurp from his chalice, Lord Worm smears the line between what’s sacred and profane until it’s dead and dripping. Lead guitarist Jon Levasseur shouldered more of the songwriting duties while seamlessly shredding between gut-slitting chugs, blistering technical riffage and orgiastic solos, though Cryptopsy still followed the textbook drumming of Flo Mounier. Trampled underfoot by a relentless piling-on of blast beats and oddly-timed bursts of double bass, “Graves of the Fathers” quickly cemented itself as a sacred rite amongst circle pits.
“In writing None So Vile, the idea was to create something heavier, faster and more technical than Blasphemy Made Flesh“, Flo says. “We were growing as musicians and so was our love for extreme music! At no point in time had we ever thought it would turn out to be one of the essential albums in death metal history. We are very happy that our fans did!”
Season of Mist is reissuing None So Vile on May 9, 2025.
Cryptopsy would win a JUNO after continuing to push the limits of extremity for the next three decades. Still, while only the band’s second album, None So Vile is worshiped by gatekeepers and fresh heshers to the underground. “You won’t find a more deserving album to be the first-ever Canadian entry into the Decibel Hall of Fame”, the magazine wrote about None So Vile, which they named the tenth best death metal album of all time.
On None So Vile, Cryptopsy claimed their crown as the most vile band in all of death metal.
Tracklist 1. Crown of Horns (3:58) 2. Slit Your Guts (4:02) 3. Graves of the Fathers (4:11) 4. Dead and Dripping (3:53) 5. Benedictine Convulsions (4:00) 6. Phobophile (4:38) 7. Lichmistress (2:31) 8. Orgiastic Disembowelment (4:51) Total runtime 32:04
Though now revered as the most vile band in death metal, before Ungentle Exhumation, Cryptopsy were still just a whisper among the Canadian underground.
After settling on a new name and several lineup changes, Cryptopsy recorded their first demo as a five-piece in 1993. While the band would go on to re-record most of these songs for their blasphemous full-length debut, Ungentle Exhumation already bore their unmistakable mark on death metal. “Gravaged: A Cryptopsy” is split open by the hair-raising screech and brutal barks of Lord Worm, while Flo Mounier flogs closer “Mutant Christ” with unhinged technical precision.
“Ungentle Exhumation was the first release in the band’s transition from Necrosis to Cryptopsy”, says drummer Flo Mounier. “It’s more death-metal type music. The songs have more blasts, more chunky grooves, and were recorded on good old analog, in one room, with all the musicians together!”
Even the most legendary heroes have their downfall. Back at the end of the 2000s, the underground had left Cryptopsy for dead thanks to an album that’s best left unspoken. But when the recent JUNO Award winners returned from critic-imposed exile in 2011, they reclaimed their crown as the most vile band in death metal with their self-titled album.
“The self-titled album brought Cryptopsy back to its true intention, which is pushing brutal death metal to the utmost extremes”, says Flo Mounier. “It marks the beginning of our resurgence”.
The songs needed time to cook, but once guitarist John Levesseur and Flo started jamming, they rediscovered the right balance between jazzy experimentation and brutal technical proficiency on Cryptopsy. “Ominous” still reigns as the only song in their 36 year history with a downtuned guitar, while future set list staple “Two-Pound Torch” introduced their patented, squirming fishhook riff.
Though it pulled them back from the brink, Cryptopsy’s self-titled album was only the beginning. The Canadians continued their brutal resurgence on the double during the mid-2010s with two neck-snapping EPs.
The Book of Suffering was always meant as a companion piece. Cryptopsy framed Tome I around the concept of those phobophiles among us who inflict suffering (including a twisted-but-true tale of a Greyhound bus trip gone horribly awry). Meanwhile, Tome II shifts perspective to those who’ve escaped their tormentors. “Sire of Sin“ – a ripping escape from a notorious religious cult – quickly turned into a staple in the band’s ever-mutating setlist.
“The band is once again at the forefront of creative brutality“,Angry Metal Guy rejoiced.
Now, for the first time, fans can own both EPs on one combined LP when Season of Mist reissues The Book of Suffering this Friday, December 13.
2025 is building up to be another catastrophically successful year for Cryptopsy. The most vile band in death metal are honing their crown of horns in the wake of their JUNO Award winning album. This summer, they’re bringing relentless carnage all over Europe alongside Decapitated, Warbringer and Carnation.
“Europe, get ready!”, Cryptopsy says. “With over 30 dates across the continent, this tour promises relentless energy, crushing riffs and unforgettable nights”

Don Felder’s highly anticipated fourth solo album, “The Vault (Fifty Years of Music)” marks a unique milestone in his storied career, offering a stunning collection of newly recorded versions of songs originally demoed over a span of five decades.

Their contributions bring a fresh, dynamic energy to the music, enhancing Felder’s signature sound and bringing new life to these songs. In addition to the previously unreleased material, The Vault also includes a newly re-recorded version of “Heavy Metal”, Felder’s classic hit from his 1983 debut album “Airborne” and the soundtrack of the 1981 animated film of the same name.
With its perfect blend of high-energy rockers and introspective, emotional ballads, “The Vault (Fifty Years of Music)” showcases Don Felder’s enduring legacy as one of rock’s most influential and skilled guitarists.

Hailing from Gainesville, Florida, Felder developed an early passion for music after watching Elvis Presley perform on The Ed Sullivan Show. By the age of 13, he had formed his first band, the Continentals, which included future rock legend Stephen Stills. Felder refined his guitar skills through dedicated practice and even received slide guitar lessons from Duane Allman, laying the foundation for his signature style.
In 1974, Felder joined the Eagles, helping shift their sound from country-rock to a more guitar-driven rock style. He co-wrote and performed the legendary guitar solo for “Hotel California”, one of the most celebrated songs in rock history. His contributions extended to other notable tracks, including “Victim Of Love” and “Those Shoes”.
His dual guitar harmonies with Joe Walsh became a defining element of the band’s sound. In recognition of the Eagles’ massive influence on rock music, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, with Felder performing alongside his former bandmates at the induction ceremony.
Following his departure from the Eagles in 2001, Felder pursued a solo career, releasing albums such as “Road to Forever” (2012), and “American Rock ‘n’ Roll” (2019). Over the years, Felder has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Stevie Nicks, Barbra Streisand, and Michael Jackson, further solidifying his legacy as a versatile and influential guitarist in rock music.

Time To Kill Records is proud to announce the release of “Ruthless”, the brand-new album from Icelandic death metal force DEVINE DEFILEMENT, set to drop on May 9th, 2025. With this latest offering, the band refines their sonic onslaught, embracing a more compact and percussive approach, crafting tracks where tension remains constant and unrelenting.
Since their eruption onto the Icelandic metal scene in 2016, DEVINE DEFILEMENT has honed their signature sound—a fusion of pummeling grooves, devastating slams, and sheer brutality—into an even more relentless force. “Ruthless” captures this evolution, delivering leaner, sharper compositions that pulse with controlled aggression and unwavering intensity.
The first single “Human Sewer” is now available HERE.
The band commented:
“Hitting hard straight out of the gate, ‘Human Sewer’ takes no prisoners! Hooking you in with alternations between slamming grooves and furious blasts all topped off with a cacophony of screams and roaring growls. Throughout, the track never lets up until it’s pounded you into the ground! The lyrics are based on one of the most grotesque and shocking real-life cases of neglect that has come to light in recent years. Serving as both the first single as well as the first track off our upcoming album ‘Ruthless’ it perfectly sets the tone for what’s to follow”.
Tracklist:
1. Human Sewer 2. Abusement Park 3. Terror Tales 4. Excreted Entity 5. Internal Delusions Of The Torn Mind 6. Pulverised Secretions 7. Anthropophagic Apocalypse pt.1 – Collapse 8. Anthropophagic Apocalypse pt.2 – Lord of Flesh 9. Curbstomp The Predator 10. Draco Dominus 11. Bio-Organic Liquid-Slam 12. Beyond the Veil of Death
Already a dominant presence in the extreme metal underground, DEVINE DEFILEMENT has solidified their reputation through tireless touring across Iceland and Europe, sharing stages with some of the genre’s fiercest acts. Their crushing live performances have left a lasting impact at Eistnaflug, Reykjavík Deathfest, Norðanpaunk, Deathfeast Open Air, and Nice to Eat You, with more festival appearances confirmed for 2025.
