CIRKUS PRÜTZ releases ‘Walking In The Rain’, the third single from the upcoming studio album ‘Manifesto’ which will be released on 18.04.2025 on Metalville Records.
‘Walking In The Rain’ is a song about hope and comfort in difficult times and the resulting strength and confidence. Life is not all sunshine, some days it rains both inside and outside. Nevertheless, you unfold your umbrella and keep going. No matter how much it storms, thunders and rains around you.
Swedish blues rock band CIRKUS PRÜTZ have improved from album to album in their career. In order to top their previous achievements once again, they have brought producer, multi-musician, bandleader and songwriter Peter Tägtgren (Pain, Hypocrisy, Lindemann, Sabaton and many more) on board for “Manifesto”.
‘We had the feeling that we wanted to take our music further into the future. We needed a push forward and a new sound,’ explains the band’s singer and guitarist Christian Carlsson.
‘I’ve known Peter for quite a long time and have been a fan of his work over the years, especially with Pain. We talked about working together a few years ago and now it’s finally happened,’ says the band’s bassist Jerry Prütz, adding that Peter has really inspired the band both musically and lyrically.
‘It shouldn’t sound old school or like an old blues album,’ was Peter Tägtgren’s motto for the entire process.
The ten songs on “Manifesto” talk about everything from drag racing to casino visits in Las Vegas, from stalking like in the Netflix series “Baby Reindeer” to an homage to Peter Stormare’s iconic character Karl Hungus in the film “The Big Lebowski”.
Sound and songwriting are right up to date. All the songs were written by the band together in the rehearsal room and were then given the necessary finishing touches by Peter Tägtgren in his studio. The mastering was in the hands of Jonas Kjellgren, who was also responsible for the production of the last “Sabaton” albums.
In a musical genre where most things follow tradition, Cirkus Prütz stand out and dare to challenge themselves, but also their audience.
Manifesto is a blues rock album with many facets!

Charging out of the gate with zero restraint, ‘In Like Flynn’ is a thunderous tribute to the original hesher himself – Errol Flynn. Namazu deliver a barrage of tribal drums, chest-rattling riffs, and an all-out wall of sound that pays homage to heavy music in its most primal and potent form.
The track was recorded and mixed by Alan Burchum (Deadbird, Korroded, Autolith), whose raw touch adds grit and ferocity to the song’s already aggressive nature. Mastered by Ryan Boesch (Fu Manchu, Whores, Foo Fighters, Norma Jean), the end result is a crushing, full-spectrum blast of heaviness that refuses to let up.
‘In Like Flynn‘ is more than a song – it’s a battle cry, a riff-drenched celebration of rock ‘n’ roll’s wilder spirit, and a reminder that Namazu are a force to be reckoned with in the heavy underground. Prepare yourself for the impact – ‘In Like Flynn’ lands everywhere April 18.

ROTTING CHRIST have stood the test of time. Over the past 35 years, Sakis Tolis, his brother Themis and their brothers-in-arms have risen from Greece’s blackened catacombs to become one of metal’s most reliable forces.
Backed by a legacy that has both defined and defied black metal, last year, the Greek legends carved out a new set of dark, melodic scriptures with fresh rebellion on the unbreakable Pro Xristou.
“…this is the most arena-worthy Rotting Christ have been in some time”, No Clean Singingwrote about their latest album.
Now, as they continue to tour the world, Rotting Christ are celebrating 35 years of evil existence with a new live album. This two-hour set was recorded at the Lycabettus Hill Theater in the band’s hometown of Athens. Like a pantheon, it spans the band’s entire career, from early evil classics like “The Sign of Evil Existence” and the gothic one-two punch of “Sorrowful Farewell” and “Among Two Storms” to ” “Δαιμόνων Βρώσης (Demonon Vrosis)”, “Κατά τον Δαίμονα Εαυτού”, “Like Father, Like Son” and other chiseled monuments from their modern Hellenic period.

In the dimly lit catacombs of extreme metal, one name stands as a monolith: ROTTING CHRIST. Sakis Tholis and his brother Themis started this band together back in 1987. In the three decades since, these Greek titans have left their blackened imprint all over the metal world. They’ve released 13 studio albums and played more than 1,300 concerts around the globe. Underneath all this hard work, Rotting Christ have but one vision – an urge to not only push the boundaries of extreme metal, but to keep reinventing themselves along the way.
Rotting Christ’s evolution has unfolded across several distinct chapters. After starting out closer to the barely controlled chaos of grindcore, they went on to establish the iconic sound of Hellenic black metal. Their albums often embrace refined gothic soundscapes, only to plunge back into the depths of blasphemous fervour. Each chapter marked another, further exploration, and an unwavering commitment to push boundaries.
But the real turning point came in 2007, when Rotting Christ signed a pact with Season of Mist. They unleashed a series of albums for the French label that defied any and all expectations. From the piercing Theogonia and the symphonic grandeur of Aelo to the ritualistic intensity of Κατά Τον Δαίμονα Εαυτού, the cinematic experiences created by Rotting Christ became a spectacle of bombastic atmospheres, mesmerizing choirs, and neo-classical arrangements. The unexpected is their modus operandi, with the use of various languages (Latin, Arabic, Greek, English) as well as the extensive use of famous poetry woven into their music, like Edgar Allan Poe’s ‘The Raven’ on The Heretics.
In 2019, Rotting Christ’s epic journey continued with The Apocryphal Spell compilation, which offers fans an intimate glimpse into unreleased and rare material. This allowed them to gather strength, preparing for the release of their next, highly anticipated, 14th full-length studio album: Pro Xristou. Pro Xristou (‘Before Christ’ in Greek), serves as a fervent tribute to the last Pagan kings who resisted the onslaught of Christianity, guarding their ancient values and knowledge. In this thematic odyssey, intricately woven through tracks such as ‘The Apostate’ and ‘Ygdrassil’, Rotting Christ delves into the legacies of historical figures such as Flavius Claudius Julianus and Nordic mythological kings, embodying the might of Pagan wisdom in the face of Christian adversity. The album encapsulates the essence of Rotting Christ’s signature style – melodic, yet harsh at times – reinventing themselves yet again, while remaining rooted in their 35-year legacy.
Legendary guitarist and songwriter DON FELDER—best known for his iconic role with the Eagles—is thrilled to announce the release of his highly anticipated new studio album, The Vault – Fifty Years of Music, arriving May 23, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl. The latest single, “Hollywood Victim”, is out now.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and legendary guitarist Don Felder is set to release his highly anticipated new solo album, The Vault – Fifty Years of Music, on May 23, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl. The album, his first in five years, is a career-spanning collection featuring re-recorded demos and unreleased gems from his extensive musical journey, including tracks originally submitted for Eagles albums.
The latest single, “Hollywood Victim”, offers a scathing look at the allure and pitfalls of fame, serving as a modern companion to Felder’s iconic “Hotel California”. Originally penned in the early ‘90s for the Eagles’ Hell Freezes Over tour, the track tells the story of starry-eyed dreamers who arrive in Hollywood with high hopes, only to become casualties of the city’s ruthless entertainment machine. With searing guitar work and poignant storytelling, “Hollywood Victim” captures the seductive yet unforgiving nature of Tinseltown.
In addition to “Hollywood Victim”, The Vault features a range of stylistic influences and all-star collaborations, including contributions from Steve Lukather, David Paich, Greg Phillinganes, Chad Smith, Matt & Gregg Bissonette and Nathan East. The album includes everything from classic rock anthems to introspective ballads, culminating in the poignant closer “Blue Skies”, a heartfelt tribute to Felder’s late Eagles bandmate Glenn Frey.
The multi-talented Felder is also a best-selling New York Times author (Heaven and Hell: My Life in the Eagles), a TV host (the MTV spoof FTV), and a soundtrack composer, having contributed two tracks to Heavy Metal and the score for the 1986 CBS cartoon series Galaxy High. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with artists such as the Bee Gees, Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand, and Andy Gibb, as well as contributing guitars to Stevie Nicks’ first two solo albums.
Felder remains a relentless creative force, balancing studio work with a packed touring schedule, including this summer’s Brotherhood of Rock tour alongside Styx and Kevin Cronin. See below for the current tour itinerary.
