Italian Thrash Metallers XENOS A.D. will release their new album “Reqviem For The Oppressor” on May 23rd, 2025. Today we present “Dogma Of War” that is the first single taken from the new release. It is available as single on digital stores and as official lyric video realized by Stefano Mastronicola.
The songs introduces you to the concept of the album that is inextricably linked to war and it is expressed through the 9 tracks of the album. Their distinctive blend of lyricism about the horrors of the war, combined with their relentless, neck-breaking Thrash Metal, pays homage to the genre’s golden age Gods such as Slayer, Megadeth, Kreator, Exodus and Testament as well as some of the melody and progressive tendencies of Metal Church and Death Angel.
Formed by friends Giuseppe Taormina (guitars), Ignazio Nicastro (voice & bass), Danilo Ficicchia (drums), XENOS A.D. is a mandatory listening for fans of Thrash Metal who can rejoice in yet another band proudly flying their Metal flag. Now, all you have to do, is experience the raw power of the fury of XENOS A.D.

International powerhouse rock group W.E.T. share their new single and official video “This House Is On Fire”, taken from their highly anticipated new studio album, “Apex”, set for release on March 28th, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.
Guitarist Erik Mårtensson commented on the new single: “I am beyond excited to share with you our latest single, “This House Is On Fire”. This song is a true testament to everything WET stands for—high energy, powerful melodies, and outstanding performances from the band members”.
“Once again, I have the pleasure of sharing vocal duties with Jeff, creating a powerful blend that we hope you’ll love. And as a special treat, the track features one of those rare moments where I actually play the guitar solo”, he added. “We’re eager for you to bang your head to this electrifying anthem and can’t wait to hear what you think. Thank you for your incredible support!”
“Apex”, the fifth studio album of the melodic supergroup, is a bold statement in the band’s confidence that they have delivered their best work to date. Eleven tracks full of big choruses and hooky melodies, all served on a platter of smooth heaviness.
The acronym W.E.T. comes from the members’ association with other bands, Robert Säll & Andreas Passmark from Work of Art, Erik Mårtensson & Magnus Henriksson from Eclipse and Jeff Scott Soto from Talisman. And now, for the first time ever, the T is emphasized as Talisman drummer Jamie Borger has joined forces with the band’s original core members.
W.E.T. truly epitomizes what melodic rock has become in the new decade. The key element at the foundation of W.E.T. has always been to create a modern melodic hard rock sound that will drive the genre into the future. Combining powerhouse rhythms and top-notch production (courtesy of Erik Martensson), the music is equally classic and contemporary.
Although a side project to the members’ original bands, over the course of the band’s existence, W.E.T. have reconvened regularly over the last 15 years to produce four studio albums and a live record.
Starting with a genre-defining self-titled debut, Robert Säll (the “W” from Work of Art), Erik Mårtensson (the “E” from Eclipse), and Jeff Scott Soto (the “T” from Talisman) accepted the daunting task to give that debut a follow-up, “Rise Up”. After that stellar follow-up, their third opus, “Earthrage”, cemented a legacy of music which will stand the test of time. “Retransmission”, their latest album, is nothing else than an absolute milestone, which is well in keeping with the tradition established by the three amazing records that have preceded this one.
Erik Mårtensson says: “It’s always a challenge to find that sweet spot in our calendars when we are all available, not to mention the fact that Jeff lives in California and the rest of us in Sweden. But I also believe that adds to our ambition once we are able to gather. We are all aware that we don’t get too many shots at this, so when we do we gotta make it count.”
“Apex” Tracklist:

In a world where everyone knows everything, Dragged Into Sunlight evoke intrigue and mystery.
Since 2006, Dragged Into Sunlight have built a reputation for their dark, atmospheric, and often disturbing sound, combining heavy, pulverising riffs with raw, abrasive vocals and intricate arrangements. The collective explore themes of violence, despair, and the macabre, blending the extremity of black metal’s dissonance with the weighty, oppressive spirit of doom. Their compositions are best characterised by a relentless, chaotic atmosphere, often eschewing traditional death metal song structures in favour of long, immersive tracks that defy genre standards.
Dragged Into Sunlight’s sonic warfare is accompanied by an equally obscure and mystifying live performance, delivering striking, minimalist visual aesthetics in the cover of darkness. The band’s enigmatic and ritualistic approach to their stage presence further enhances their dynamic sound.
A veteran musician and song writer for more than 30 years, Keith Roth has recorded on over 50 records as well as producing, performing, touring and writing with many music icons. Since 2003, Keith Roth is currently the host of Ozzy’s Boneyard Ch 38, Hair Nation Ch 39 and producing David Johansen’s Mansion of Fun for over 20 years. If that was not enough, he is the current lead singer and guitarist with The Dictators and Frankenstein 3000.
Roth is set to release his first ever solo album The Law Of Diminished Returns on March 21st through Deko Entertainment. The first single from the album “I Don’t Feel Like Thinking Today!” was released on December 6th and immediately caught the attention of rock fans and critics alike. Now he is breaking out the bell bottoms and going full on retro with a cover of the Curtis Mayfield song “Superfly”. As Roth explains, “Superfly is a tune that conjures up so many childhood memories, my brother played the soundtrack on a loop in our apartment in coop city, The Great Curtis Mayfield!!! I started messing around with it while recording the Laws record, when Bob Pantella laid down the groove with the heavier guitars, we nailed it. I said this has to be on this record. It fits perfectly in so many ways!!”
The Law Of Diminished Returns contains and elegant mix of 11 songs covering many feels and grooves and features guest appearances by former Blue Oyster Cult drummer Albert Bouchard, Monster Magnet drummer Bob Pantella, Angel guitarist Punky Meadows, and Dictators/Manowar guitarist Ross the Boss. It is available on CD and Limited-Edition Blue Vinyl.

Fresh off the heels of their acclaimed new full-length You Could Do It Tonight (2024, Brutal Panda Records), NYC’s Couch Slut have announced their triumphant return to Europe and the UK this summer. Following their blistering and unforgettable performance at Roadburn Festival last year, the band is set to bring their intense and visceral live show to new cities and fests, including stops at the prestigious Roskilde Festival and Rock in Bourlon.
Dates:
June 26 – London, UK – The Dome (Downstairs) June 27 – Bourlon, FR – Rock in Bourlon June 30 – Budapest, HU – A38 July 3 – Roskilde, DK – Roskilde Fest
Released in April 2024 via Brutal Panda Records, Couch Slut’s latest album, You Could Do It Tonight, has garnered massive critical praise, landing on numerous top 2024 album lists from Stereogum, Invisible Oranges, The Quietus, Flood Magazine, Beats Per Minute and more. This release captures Couch Slut’s signature grit and raw emotional power — a sound both unrelenting and deeply cathartic.
Fans can purchase You Could Do It Tonight on LP/CD/CS/Digital via Brutal Panda Records HERE and on Bandcamp HERE. Additionally, the 10-year anniversary reissue of their debut album My Life As A Woman is also available now HERE.
Couch Slut have played a veritable strain of drug-fuelled, incendiary, hardcore noise rock since 2013. Led by Megan Osztrosits‘ infernal roar and subversive, vitriolic lyrics, the quintet return with their fourth full-length opus You Could Do It Tonight (19th April, Brutal Panda Records).
Recorded amidst the filth of NYC with Uniform‘s Ben Greenberg (Drab Majesty, Portrayal of Guilt, Metz), and mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios in London (Blur, Nick Cave, Thom Yorke), Couch Slut subvert the paradigm and up the ante in every imaginable way across nine vignettes of perverse, true-to-life storytelling layered over the band’s singular, dragged-through-the-mud songcraft. This is a depraved style of noise rock that will scare the living sh*t out of you. Guest appearances from members of fellow NYC compatriots Imperial Triumphant and Pyrrhon scatter across the album, adding layers of cacophony.
With ten full years of pain and suffering under their proverbial belt, along with three prior full-length albums My Life As A Woman (2014), Contempt (2017), and Take A Chance On Rock ‘n’ Roll (2020),Couch Slut sound more urgent, threatening, nasty and despondent than ever with You Could Do It Tonight.
Couch Slut are: Dylan DiLella – guitar Kevin Hall – bass, shehnai, granular synthesizer Amy Mills – guitar, flute, trumpet Theo Nobel – drums and percussion, synthesizer, bells Megan Osztrosits – vocals
