ARCHERS, Wisconsin’s powerhouse metalcore band, have dropped their latest hard-hitting single, “Never Enough,” produced by Matt Good and available now via SBG Records. Known for their intense energy and emotionally charged lyrics, ARCHERS continue to carve their name into the modern metalcore scene. In celebration of the release, Revolver Magazine premiered the official music video for the single, which can also be seen below.
The band will be on tour supporting Catch Your Breath beginning February 6th in Seattle, WA and will be playing multiple festivals this summer.
“‘Never Enough’ is a story too many of us are familiar with -the chemistry between two people who aren’t good for each other. These relationships are addictive by nature, and oftentimes toxic, resulting in conflict both internal and external. Never Enough addresses the uncomfortable side of this kind of relationship, acknowledging the ‘temporary high’ of lapsing into toxicity. Because although there’s conflict and you might know it’s unhealthy, breaking the bonds for good is a lot harder than dealing with the familiarities with the thing you’ve come to know,” says the band.
Wisconsin-based band ARCHERS is a force to be reckoned with. Emerging in 2015 as the brainchild of founders Ben Koehler (guitar) and Nathanael Pulley (lead vocals), the duo laid the foundation for a dynamic musical journey. Sharing a passion for both the metalcore and pop-rock worlds, it wasn’t long before their casual creative outlet became a project that encapsulates the ups and downs of life, mental health, and relationships. With Oscar Porter (bass/vocals) and Grayson Mesarosh (drums) later joining the ranks, the members of ARCHERS continue to carve their path in the music industry on their own terms.
The turning point for ARCHERS arrived in 2020 with the release of their EP, New Normal. Their infectious soundscapes and introspective lyrics reminiscent of scene heavy-hitters like Dayseeker and Sleep Token resonated with listeners early on in their sonic development. From then on, the band has only fine-tuned their sound with standout singles like “Bitter” and “Say This Sober.” Each song weaves a story that is both vulnerable and visceral, a juxtaposition that resonates with the band’s loyal fanbase. There is strength and power to be reclaimed in the darkest of times, and ARCHERS find the light through their punchy blend of distorted guitars and soulful vocals.
Venturing beyond the studio, ARCHERS has been consistently touring across the country since 2022. From making waves at Louder Than Life Festival and Blue Ridge Rock Festival to selling out rooms alongside acts like Savage Hands and Boys Of Fall, the energy and passion poured into their live shows continues to propel them forward. Gearing up for the release of a new EP in 2025, the future of ARCHERS looks bright.

Extreme Management Group (EMG), home to bands like Suffocation, Atheist, Misery Index, and more, has announced their partnership with Metal Band MASS PUNISHMENT.
Mass Punishment is a 4 piece Metalcore/Extreme Metal band based out of New Jersey music designed to inform as well as hit as hard as the facts and events the songs are written about. Current events on a social, political, environmental, economic scale. Of government corruption and depopulation with a population facing death by design and dark hidden agendas.
Mass Punishment is:
Erick “Maverick” Laurino (Vocals)
Chris “Axe” Milos (Guitars)
Ed “Arc Angel” Angel (Bass)
Mass Punishment was established after Chris “Axe” Milos returned to the United States from serving in the Army and fighting on the front lines in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Chris, having played guitar since childhood, had started writing the riffs and lyrics that would soon become the foundation of songs for Mass Punishment to build upon. Erick “Maverick” Laurino and Chris had linked up having knowledge of each other sharing the same goal in mind of creating a metal band that no one had ever heard or seen before. Erick’s strength and integrity is pounded out fiercely and clearly commanding the attention of the listening audience without compromise. Chris and Erick then sought the talent of a bassist. Ed “Arc” Angel joined the camp as the ranking bass virtuoso. This is an honor for both Ed and the band as a perfect combination of power and precision. Erick & Chris fused with Ed’s ability to perform bass harmonies and lead bass compositions blaze through sonically in the earth shaking sound of Mass Punishment. This would complete the lineup of the band and Mass Punishment would become the focus of the members.
Chris credits James Hetfield of Metallica and Dave Mustaine of Megadeth for the desire to learn to play guitar from childhood. He enjoys listening to Extermination Dismemberment, Behemoth, Thy Art Is Murder, Megadeth and Slayer. Erick’s inspiration to be a vocalist came from Phil Anselmo of Pantera and Burton C Bell of Fear Factory. Some of his current favorites are Machine Head, Beneath The Massacre and Meshuggah. Ed embraces Geezer Butler, D.D. Verni & Pat Bruder as his 3 favorite bass players. Some current favorites include Hemorrhage, Upon A Burning Body & There Is No Us. He also is influenced by Legends such as Slayer, Megadeth & Fear Factory.
We grew up on the best metal bands of our time. The metal bands that had gone against the grain and fought the norm of society. Those who’ve paved the way and put metal on the map that wouldn’t allow heavy metal to be swept under the carpet. Our music has influence from many bands such as but not limited to Pantera, Slayer, Fear Factory, Megadeth, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Korn, Emmure, Slipknot, and Soulfly.
The Name:
Mass Punishment – The form of retaliation whereby a punished group may often have no direct association with the other individuals or groups, or direct control over their actions. Those who Suffer For The Actions Of Another. Christopher had taken the name for a common term used in the military. Christopher says “If one of us fails, we all fail. If one of us is to be punished, we all get punished”.
Lyrically and musically our songs are of current events, civilization, our societies around the world being divided, conquered and destroyed. The need to unite people and find peace through understanding and compromise or the absolute destruction of us all.
New Music:
“God Less America” This single was recorded at The Bomb Shelter Recording Studio in Jackson NJ under Producer George Ponds and was released on July 6, 2023. Mixed and Mastered by Charlie Berezansky this song also features Mike Gurnari of MADBALL. The song was inspired by the nightmare of chaos and division that has stricken the US to the core. From the events of September 11, 2001 and the wars that followed to the lockdowns, protests and riots along economic collapse and poor leadership to the top of a corrupt government that has brought us to the brink of civil war.
“Worldwide Genocide” Recorded at The Bomb Shelter Recording Studio with Producer George Pond. Mixed and Mastered by Charlie Berezansky this single is about the world descending into darkness and population control being enforced by entities both elected by the people and those unelected elite. The end of society as we know it. Released December 11, 2023.
“Breaking Point” Recorded at The Bomb Shelter Recording Studio in Jackson, NJ under Producer George Pond. Mixed and Mastered by Producer Eric Rachel at The Dungeon undisclosed in NJ. This single addresses a scene of an unnamed citizen fighting against multiple policemen in a fierce hand to hand confrontation. Who will remain standing, the citizen or the police? Inspired by the mainstream media’s narrative of the rising number of police officers over use of force on the population.
Mass Punishment released the 1st Full Length album Proving Grounds Devastation on October 11th 2024 available on WormHoleDeath Records. Utilizing recording studios both Bullet Proof Studios in Hazlet NJ and The Bomb Shelter Recording Studio in Jackson NJ under the direction of Producers Eric Rachel and George Pond (bassist of Swim The Current) in efforts to finish the long awaited debut album. The first studio album released by the newly signing international label WormHoleDeath Records. With mixing done by both Eric & George but Mastered by Eric Rachel. The album consists of 17 original tracks. Two of the tracks, Desert Rogue and Infantryman’s Creed, feature Mike Romeo of Symphony X orchestrating a four string quartet. The song “God Less America” is kissed with a soaring solo by NYC’s hardcore band MADBALL guitarist Mike Gunari. Multiple tracks feature George Pond (Swim The Current & Disciples of Verity) lending his talent and technique of the bass as well.
The 66.69 minute long album encapsulates Christopher Milos’s time in the US Army Infantry and combat operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The album ends with the last 4 tracks focusing on what a Soldier is faced with returning home from war and trying to fit back into a society that has disenfranchised him.
Now in 2025, Mass Punishment has signed with Extreme Management Group and says, “we are proud to be punishing everyone worldwide with emg management 2025, cheers!”
EXTERIOR PALNET was founded in December 2015. After a few months of rehearsals, the skeleton for the first album was ready, and it became clear that the release would take the form of a single song. The debut album, Dorsia, was released in December 2017, representing a 32-minute journey from an atmospheric and raw beginning to more detailed and layered parts in the latter half. Shortly after the release of Dorsia, the band began further developing their sound and working on a second album, Haragma II.
Seven years in the making, Haragma II is a journey through the cosmic and mythological, blending the vastness of space with the timeless weight of ancient lore. Building upon the foundation set by Dorsia, the album pushes Exterior’s sound to new heights—uniting dissonant hooks, powerful ‘wall of sound’ textures, and interconnected song structures into a cohesive whole.
From the apocalyptic visions of Haragma to the cryptic revelations of Zaphnath-Paaneah, the album traverses a spectrum of themes: the fragility of humanity, the alien and the divine, and the eternal struggle to uncover what lies beyond. Behind the Veil and Exoskeletons explore worlds both haunting and surreal, while the epic conclusion, Heracleidae, draws upon the mythic power of Heracles, intertwining cosmic grandeur with the resonance of ancient heroism.
THE PROGRESSIVE SOULS COLLECTIVE release ‘Encore Vol. II: Sonic Birth Live’ – A Captivating Live Experience (Metalville Records – April 4th).
With ‘Encore Vol. II: Sonic Birth Live’, The Progressive Souls Collective (TPSC) are now making their first mark in the live albumsector. Recorded at the Artrock Festival 2022, the album brings the atmospheric ambience of the concert directly to the fans’ homes. At its core lies the live performance of their acclaimed debut concept album “Sonic Birth” in its entirety, which unfolds its power in this live rendition.
The band plays with precision and passion. Lead vocalist Vladimir Lalic mesmerizes the audience with his vocal strength and commanding stage presence. Guitarist Florian Zepf delivers gripping riffs and tasteful solos, complemented by Jamie Powell’s solid bass lines, which together form the foundation of the band’s sound. Gerald Peter adds depth and dynamics and beautiful lead sounds to the music. Drummer Tim Korycki provides the essential groove and backbone to the ensemble, steering the band through intricate odd-time signatures and complex rhythms with finesse.
The final polish on this live album comes courtesy of Reuben Cohen, member of the Grammy-winning Lurssen Mastering team from Burbank and mastering engineer for legends such as Metallica.
With “Encore Vol. II: Sonic Birth Live,” TPSC deliver yet another solid and powerful release. This live album not only impresses musically but also captures the passion and energy of a band that shines in live settings.
