Yanez De Gomera may not be a familiar name to everyone. He’s a character born from the creativity of Emilio Salgari, a Portuguese pirate who follows the infamous Sandokan in his pirate adventures as a brotherly friend. The progressive band METRONIMIA has dedicated their new single to this character, now available on all streaming platforms through Volcano Records & Promotion, and on YouTube with a unique and intriguing concept video.
Formed in 2018 as a tribute band to Jethro Tull, Metronimia delivers a highly personal musical offering, infused with old-school progressive elements revisited with an original touch. In “Yanez”, they maintain their distinctive style with a four-minute track that, through a solid melodic-harmonic structure, appeals both to those who seek constant surprise and shifts in progressive rock and to a broader rock audience with its catchy chorus. Choosing Italian for the lyrics does not hinder the project’s international potential; rather, it opens up opportunities to explore vibrant foreign markets, following in the footsteps of great Italian progressive rock bands from the ‘70s that influenced the evolution of the genre worldwide.
As for “Yanez”, the song makes a strong impression, showing a maturity that belies the youth of the band’s members and promising even greater things from Metronimia in the future.

While many famous American bands display their skills within that style, France’s BLACK BOMB A has been the only official crossover delegation in its country for 23 years.
With 7 albums, 1 EP and 2 live DVDs under the belt, the band built an expanding career around their timeless style. The recipe is easy as ABC: a powerful and groovy rhythm section, ground-shaking riffs, backed by two amazing vocalists: one digging deep into the abyss while the other one is flirting with hysteria.
Black Bomb A played more than 1000 gigs (among which 2 Hellfest shows in 2012 and 2018) which left hordes of fans drained of their blood, and totally devoted to the band. The interchange of energy between Black Bomb A and its audience is one hell of an amazingly contagious live experiment,
The band will be back on October 12, 2018 with a new album produced by Francis Caste, simply titled « Black Bomb A ». Enough said, when the band’s moniker itself is already synonymous with headbutt.
Current Lineup: Poun – Vocals Snake – Guitar Arno – Vocals Etienne – Bass Jordan Kiefer Drums
After a small line-up change, the melodic speed/power metallers from SCULFORGE are back with a new single and video entitled “The Journey”. As of today, the track is available as a digital single on all download and streaming platforms and at the same time in the form of a brand new video clip on YouTube.
New on bass is Felix “The Kerninator” Kern, who makes his musical debut with “The Journey”. The quartet also announced that they are in the middle of working on a follow-up to their 2023 debut “Intergalactic Battle Tunes”, which is due to be released in spring. It will be interesting to see what the four-piece has up their sleeve, “The Journey” certainly whets the appetite for more and suggests that the journey of the intergalactic combo, which includes former members of Midnattsol and Respawn, is far from over.

Before DOMINUM unleashes the zombies with their new album, The Dead Don’t Die, on December 27, 2024, a new single entitled “One Of Us” has arrived, and it’s all about Jesus… Zombie Jesus, that is!
In the song, the undead sing about an exciting story of betrayal, redemption and resurrection. In addition to the well-known, mighty and powerful orchestration and the vocal prowess of Dr. Dead, they once again offer something to catch the eye! In the official music video for “One Of Us”, DOMINUM proves that they can not only create top-notch, catchy tunes, but also aesthetically intriguing music clips.
The zombie empire will expand even further at the end of the year when the Living Dead march out on DOMINUM‘s first headline tour – the world of the living has a lot to look forward to!
Dr. Dead on the new single “One Of Us”: “I have pondered at length whether you were ready to hear what I am about to reveal. There exists a book – a tale of a man who boldly declares himself to be “One of Us.” This is not a false claim; indeed, it holds a certain truth. Yet, there are details concealed from you, truths you deserve to know in full. And so, we tell you this story.
Be neither alarmed nor sorrowful, for this revelation must be shared. The word must be spread. Thank you for your understanding.
Yours faithfully, Dr. Dead”
DOMINUM on the upcoming album The Dead Don’t Die: “Hey, living people. Exactly one year ago, our journey began, and now it’s time for a new chapter. In the darkest nights, I buried my fallen zombies and brought them back to life under the full moon. But the real story is still to come. Stay calm, stay close (forever—pun intended), and I’ll tell you everything soon. Just remember one thing: the dead don’t really die.”
Yours, Dr. Dead
DOMINUM entered the scene in 2023 with a blast and hit the top 20 of the Official German Album Charts immediately with their debut album, Hey Living People.
Massive album opening track “We Are Forlorn” invites the listener on a dark and dramatic journey that continues full-speed on “One Of Us”. Irresistibly catchy “Don’t Get Bitten By The Wrong Ones” features DOMINUM’s trademark eerie yet tongue-in-cheek lyrics, continuing straight from where the band left off with their first album. The monumental title track “The Dead Don’t Die” is another highlight on The Dead Don’t Die – a clever take on a classic children’s lullaby leads into brilliantly dark storytelling, that’s heavy instrumentation and a multifaceted vocal performance take to the next level. Feuerschwanz and dArtagnan mastermind Ben Metzner is featured on this song. In addition to the album’s 10 original tracks, DOMINUM continues delivering the exciting cover of Scorpions’ classic hit “Rock You Like A Hurricane”. Some formats come with the bonus CD Live at Graspop Metal Meeting 2024 which includes their acclaimed performance at Graspop 2024.
The Dead Don’t Die Tracklisting: 1. We Are Forlorn 2. One Of Us 3. The Dead Don’t Die 4. Killed By Life 5. Die For The Devil 6. Don’t Get Bitten By The Wrong Ones 7. Happy Deadly Ending 8. Since the release of the first album in December 2023, DOMINUM has played nearly sold-out tours supporting big names such as Bruce Dickinson, Avantasia, Feuerschwanz and Peyton Parrish in Europe, as well as convincing international audiences at summer festivals such as Graspop and Rock Harz.
DOMINUM will kick off their first full headlining tour right in time for the release of The Dead Don’t Die, bringing their new horror stories to life on stage for the first time, after supporting Feuerschwanz on the second leg of their Fegefeuer tour again.

Deathcore band Boreal Grave released a new single “In Devil’s Embrace”. The track is taken from the forthcoming debut EP ‘I Am Your Bane’ which is set to be released on December 13th 2024 via Inverse Records.
“In Devil’s Embrace” is the second single from Boreal Grave’s upcoming EP I Am Your Bane, which will be released on December 13, 2024. The song bings listeners to the edge of life and death, a place where light cannot reach and all hope is lost. The lyrics open the gates to despair, where the soul is imprisoned in darkness – relentlessly echoing the declaration “God has failed me,” like an incantation that grows stronger with every scream. This fate is like a prison, where death offers the only escape.
“In Devil’s Embrace” paints a dark picture of a soul’s struggle amidst divine betrayal and chains of darkness. It exudes pain and loss, revealing the final remnants of hope and a betrayed faith. Heavy riffs and chilling tones make the song an inevitable experience – the chorus lingers hauntingly, heavy and menacing.
The I Am Your Bane EP delves into life’s darkest aspects, such as the loss of a loved one, death, depression, bullying, despair, and betrayal. Each song plunges deep into the darkest recesses of the human mind, showing no mercy. “In Devil’s Embrace” offers a glimpse of what’s to come – deathcore that won’t let go, but instead pulls you into a dark world. I Am Your Bane will be released on December 13, so stay tuned and prepare yourself…
Burning Creation is a band founded in early 2022 in Żywiec (PL) by the Klimonda brothers after the suspension of the Haures band. The band’s lyrics touch on the subject of Vikings. Their music can be classified as melodic death metal, with strong vibe of Amon Amarth. In 2023, the band presented its debut release, the EP “Never Dead-Nation“, and after a year of waiting, it will present its debut album entitled “Sea Of Dead Bodies“.
The new album is an aggressive, raw, death metal sound, interwoven with melodic accents straight from the frosty North. However, it is not only the sound and graphic design that evoke Scandinavia here. The main role here is played by the lyrics, referring to, among others, to mythological events, such as the winter of Fimbul (“Fimbulvinter“), the death of Baldur (“Tears Of Mourners“) or the last battle of the warriors from Valhalla (“The Einherjers’ Return“), about mythological, Scandinavian folklore (“Eaten By Hulder“), historical events, such as the siege of Paris (“Time Of Broken Shields“), as well as the original concept of Vikings returning from beyond the grave to take final revenge for the sins of this world. In almost every case, they are marked by cruelty, stained with the blood of the enemies of the warriors from the north, and also filled with the darkest of human emotions, as well as striking ugliness, imperfection. However, there is no shortage of glory for the fallen comrades, fighting for one’s own, rising from one’s knees and remembering one’s values and who one really is. Most likely, this direction will be continued on the band’s next releases. Perhaps the scales will tip towards uncompromising death metal rather than one full of melody – towards even more bloodshed, but only the future will tell.
Klimonda brothers comments upcoming record: “Sea Of Dead Bodies consist of 9 brand new songs that take us to the world of Vikings and Norse Gods. This time, the corpses of warriors from the North have sailed on boats from across the ocean to continue the conquest begun on the “Never Dead-Nation” EP. In addition, the album will feature a bonus track in the form of a cover of Amon Amarth’s “Burning Creation”, a song that gave rise not only to the band’s name, but also to the band’s musical style and fascination with the North.“
Music for upcoming release was recorded, mixed and mastered by Marek Stefaniak. Cover artwork was done by Damian Bydliński. Debut album titled “Sea of Dead Bodies” will be released on November 29, 2024 on digital format and CD by Polish label Via Nocturna (pre-order).
