Some may recognize Dan Nastasi from his past work as original “Dog Eat Dog” (ABK era) and before that “Mucky Pup”. Danny Schuler obviously as drummer in “Biohazard” and Evan “ONE” Ivkovich and bass player in “Wisdom in Chains”. Although fans of those bands are sure to not be disappointed, KINGS NEVER DIE want to completely stand on their own regardless of their resume of bands. Nastasi add’s, “This is all about what we are doing now, although we love and respect the people and bands we have played with, past and present, people should only judge Kings Never Die on this new album and The Now. Of course, we hope people who enjoy what we’ve done individually in the past dig it, but make no mistakes, there are no shortcuts or riding on past successes. We have cultivated this band from the ground up, we’re putting the work and love what we are doing and what we created here.”

After all the good signs shown in the previously released two digital singles, TYGERS OF PAN TANG now release a third song from the new and upcoming album “Bloodlines”. “Back For Good” is the chosen track.
When Jack Meille wrote the lyrics for “Back For Good”, he drew inspiration from a monument to miners in the small town of Featherstone, where he stays on his frequent visits to the UK from Italy. “The lyrics are about miners and their long, endless working shifts in the dark”, Jack says.
New bass player Huw Holding rates it as his favourite song from the new album “Bloodlines”. “When I joined the Tygers I was given a few demo tracks to play along with. “Back For Good” jumped out immediately. I loved the groove, the riffs and the vocal melody”, he concludes.

Robb Weir is never a man to take what he has for granted. Having led Tygers Of Pan Tang since their first album through a number of line-up changes, he recognises that the current Tygers are probably the strongest since when they were at the forefront of the NWOBHM. The original band, who made four albums for MCA Records, survived the unexpected departure of Jess Cox to run Neat Records and later John Sykes, who was bound for Thin Lizzy and a multi-million seller with Whitesnake. What they didn’t survive was their greatest commercial success with the album “The Cage”. However, Weir, ever the optimist, formed a new version of the band to both play the old material and write songs that would represent this ‘new’ Tygers. The backbone of the band – Craig Ellis on drums, together with Jack Meille on vocals, have now been together for considerably longer than the first Tygers and were recently joined by Francesco Marras on guitar, and Huw Holding on bass. Francesco arrived via solo and session work that has made him a go-to guitarist, and Huw has a history of working with NWOBHM bands such as Blitzkrieg, Avenger and Holosade.
Recording an EP (“A New Heartbeat”) to celebrate their re-signing with Mighty Music, the Tygers demonstrated just how potent the new line-up was becoming. Re-recording two songs from their first album to complement the two new songs on the EP gave listeners the chance to evaluate Francesco Marras’ contribution, and the reaction was entirely positive. Following this with a tour that took in six countries across Europe, both Francesco and Huw have been amazed at the reaction to the new line-up. Fans old and new have turned up to lend their support to the continuing story of the Tygers.
Now the band are all set for the release of their new album, “Bloodlines”, a tour de force of what made the NWOBHM such a potent force in music. The songs, all self-penned, successfully demonstrate just how well the core of Weir, Meille and Ellis have blended with the new boys. New Danish producer Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Moonspell, Sick Of It All) has brought a contemporary edge to the traditional Tygers sound and immediately bonded with the band, recognising just what it was they were looking for. Still metal at its core, the melodic vocals and exemplary guitar solos ensure that the songs are worthy rivals to the very best of their back catalogue.
The last word comes from Robb Weir, whose dream created the Tygers back in ’79. “I feel as confident with our new line-up as I did all those years ago when ‘Wildcat’ appeared on the shelves and was given a unanimous thumbs up. Our recent live shows have demonstrated a harmony within the band and, coupled with the quality of ‘Bloodlines’, the potential to create music and perform live shows for some considerable time to come.”
“Bloodlines” will be released on LP (black and red vinyl, with the latter being limited to 500), CD and digital formats via Mighty Music on May 5th, 2023.

Stormbringers sets off right away with first single “Destroyer”, and following track “Chains” lures the listener with stomping drums, heavy riffs and ever-changing clean vocals with deep growls. With ease, the album balances aggressive and raw death metal facets with haunting melancholy carried by Paavo Laapotti’s vocals and intense melodies. With ‘Wargod‘, the pioneers of Norwegian black metal, IMMORTAL, deliver a new single leading up to the release of their impatiently awaited 10th studio album War Against All,due to be released on May 26th via Nuclear Blast Records. The band’s 10th studio album will feature 8 new songs in the classic IMMORTAL style.
The band ́s founder Demonaz stated about the second single ‘Wargod‘: “Wargod is the heaviest song on the album. I thought it was about time to give the fans a track in the «Tyrants» again. Celtic Frost’s album “To Mega Therion” from 1986 was an inspiration to me this time. Some of it’s classic tracks had heavy opening riffs that developed into fast devastating fury and tempo. I wanted to capture that feeling again, the Immortal way. When i moved to the mountains In 2019 I went through some of my old material and unused lyrics. Wargod was one of them. The title, lyric and song ideas were originally from the early nineties, and now finally Immortalized on the album.”
IMMORTAL, from the Norwegian town Bergen, was formed by Demonaz and Abbath in 1990. The band established themselves early as one of the most important black metal bands in the world. The band released their first three albums, Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism, Pure Holocaust and Battles In The North during the years 1992-1995. These records defined the musical style the band became infamous for.
The band then released the Blizzard Beasts album in (1997) At The Heart Of Winter (1999), Damned In Black (2000) and Sons Of Northern Darkness (2002).
In 2003 the band was put on ice, but returned to the stage in 2007 and completed several headline appearances and tours across Australia, New Zealand and the USA. All Shall Fallwas released in 2009, followed by further massive festival shows and additional concerts. In 2018, IMMORTAL returned with Demonaz performing on guitar once again, also fronting the band as vocalist, releasing their 9th studio album, Northern Chaos Gods, which was very well received by both fans and global press.
Come 2023, IMMORTAL sees Demonaz releasing War Against All, the band´s 10th studio album. The record has been composed and performed by Demonaz, featuring some session members, like in earlier recordings. The album was produced by Arve Isdal, and recorded at Conclave & Earshot Studio in Bergen, Norway by Herbrand Larsen and Arve Isdal. The album was mastered by Iver Sandøy at Solslottet.
After the very recent release of their latest and highly-acclaimed fifth studio album, Sweet Poison, in October, as well as their subsequent tour, the relentless rockers of THE NEW ROSES aren’t about to slow down! The band is proud to announce the extension of their worldwide contract with Napalm Records – continuing their impressive success story!

In more exciting news, THE NEW ROSES are thrilled to announce the return of guitarist Norman Bites! Up until 2019, Norman and the band toured the world together – playing at shows from Europe to Miami and even in Afghanistan, but then, at the beginning of 2020, it was suddenly over. Norman first experienced a several-month hiatus due to a cervical spine injury. Then, after a career change due to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, he realized intensive touring would be impossible with his new position, and was forced to finally announce his departure from the band in 2021. Founding member Dizzy Daniels, who had filled in for him in 2020, became a permanent member of the band again. Norman Bites concentrated on his job from then on, and was active in various studio projects, as well as his own solo project, Thunder/Bites, in addition to his home office work.
Now that the pandemic is fading, THE NEW ROSES announce the return of the guitarist. Singer Timmy Rough will concentrate on vocals, and Norman Bites and Dizzy Daniels will share guitar duties from now on. Norman Bites will already be back on stage with the band for the upcoming second leg of the Sweet Poison German Tour, which starts on April 22. Rehearsals are already in full swing and THE NEW ROSES are happy to be back on stage together again. Norman’s return will give the live program an additional drive, and fans can look forward to an energetic Rock`n Roll show!
