Alternative rock band DON’T BELIEVE IN GHOSTS released their latest single “Always Right” on Friday January 20th. The new song combines state-of-the-art indie-pop production with a modem alternative rock sound, all surrounded by lyrics about the internal battles and self doubts we all face. Today, the music video for the song released featuring the band performing while everything goes wrong.
Currently, the band is featured on the soundtrack of the new Apple TV+ show WeCrashed starring Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto. Don’t Believe in Ghosts is also featured performing on the show’s third episode.
Don’t Believe in Ghosts are an alternative indie pop band formed and based in New York City. Led by singer, songwriter, and producer Steven Nathan, the group features Dan DelVecchio on guitar, Alex Goumas on bass, and Ken Yang on drums.
The band signed with Imagen Records/Warner ADA, some achievements include singles at alternative radio stations across the country, 2+ million plays on Retail Radio, charting at #2 on All Access, and song features on many other TV shows, including “Ink Master” and “The U.S. Open”. The band has been featured in American Songwriter, Kings of A&R, and Alternative Press Magazine, who included them in their “40 Artists You Need to Hear” list. They’ve also been on multiple tours, played alongside COIN in the MidWest, and were invited to perform at “The Gathering” Radio Convention in Cleveland in 2021. In 2022 the band scored the soundtrack to the TV show ‘The Heart Of Saint Francis’ which was also directed and edited by lead singer Steven Nathan.
The band will be celebrating the release of their single at the Chelsea Music Hall in NYC on Jan 20th with a special live release party and will be taking the road this spring playing.
“Don’t give energy to the ghosts of your past,” says Steven Nathan when describing the meaning behind the bands’ name. “Worrying about what other people may think can be draining and debilitating.” Don’t Believe In Ghosts amplifies this theme throughout their music, which is honest, inventive, and meaningful. The result is a catalog of songs that are ambitious, yet relatable.

THE CHRONICLES OF MANIMAL AND SAMARA (TCOMAS) are releasing a new music video and single, ‘Hypermetamorphosis’ on February 17. Taken from their latest album Trust No Leaders, ‘Hypermetamorphosis’, explores the challenges of living with ADHD, as well as to raise awareness on the creative potential of the condition.
Commenting on the meaning and motive behind their new release, the band shares, “This is a journey through the ADHD mind. Both the song and video simulate what it is like to have ADHD, both visually and audibly. It shows the chaos, and the cacophony of the ADHD experience, but also its positive sides. The stream of consciousness lyrics, dissonant melodies, and erratic rhythm and structure, recreates a sensory and cognitive experience of how the ADHD brain processes, perceives and interprets the world. The music video was created by us — and also by someone who lives with ADHD. It is a simulation of the world, experienced through the ears and eyes of someone with ADHD.
The title, ‘Hypermetamorphosis’ is an old term from the 1800s, one of the many terms which was used to refer to the ADHD. Despite the negativity which has often come with understanding the condition throughout history, modern science and new therapeutic innovations have allowed us to finally come to realise this important fact: It is the very chaos and restlessness of how the ADHD mind processes information and ideas — that allows the ADHD mind to find connections and flows in a way that is inaccessible through the filter of rationality in a neurotypical brain. This is pure creativity.
We hope that what we created will help people gain a deeper understanding and empathy for those who are close to someone with ADHD, whether he or she is your child, parent, partner, relative, friend, or colleague. Most importantly, we hope to inspire anyone who is struggling living with ADHD, and to help encourage them all to be fearless, in unleashing that powerful, vibrant, and immense creative energy that’s buried underneath all the chaos. You are not alone.”
Trust No Leaders album is now available through Symphonic and can be streamed here. The album is also available on CD and digital download — visit tcomas.com/trustnoleaders to purchase.

The Chronicles of Manimal and Samara (TCOMAS) – born in early 2020 in London – though rooted in the UK capital, the duo’s origins and backgrounds are incredibly diverse: Daphne Ang (Vocals, Piano, Keyboard) was born in Singapore, and Andrea Papi (Guitar, Bass, Vocals, Programming) hails from Italy. Equally diverse are their raft of influences, most notably Tool, Kraftwerk, Jim Morrison, Devin Townsend, through to Virginia Woolf, Sylvia Plath and Carl Jung. Described to be one of ‘the most important British-based bands of the decade’ (Ever Metal), their pioneering performance of poetry in heavy music has become a form of expression that has become synonymous with TCOMAS. Their debut album, Full Spectrum, released February 2021, saw “Love in the Time of Pestilence” grace several official Spotify playlists (Alternative Metal, Progressive Metal). With their latest offering, Trust No Leaders (released July 2022), the duo have further enhanced and refined their niche and innovation – Heavy Metal fused with literature, poetry, and art (FemMetal). Dubbed by TUTV as “architects in sound and vision” for their visual inventiveness in their videos and artworks, the pair are set to unveil more music videos and singles to complete all 11 songs in their new sophomore album.
JETHRO TULL are pleased to announce their 23rd studio album, ‘RökFlöte’, which is set for release on the 21st April 2023 via InsideOutMusic. Following 2022’s ‘The Zealot Gene’, the band’s first album in two decades, Ian Anderson and the band are returning with a 12-track record based on the characters and roles of some of the principle gods of the old Norse paganism, and at the same time exploring the ‘RökFlöte’ – rock flute -which Jethro Tull has made iconic.
Today also sees the launch of the first single from the album, and you can watch the stunning animated video for ‘Ginnungagap’ (created by Costin Chioreanu) here:
The track takes inspiration from the god Ymir, the proto-being, a primeval being, who was born from venom that dripped from the icy rivers called the Élivágar and lived in the grassless void of Ginnungagap.
‘RökFlöte’ will be available on several different formats, including two limited deluxe formats that include bonus demo material, extensive liner notes & a blu-ray featuring Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround sound, alternative stereo mixes by Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief), as well as a bonus track and in-depth interview with Ian Anderson. The album will also be available digitally in the spatial audio formats Dolby Atmos & Sony 360 RA.

Ian explains the album’s title & theme in more detail: “The title of this offering went through a little change or two along the way. I started with the idea of a predominantly instrumental album for rock flute – as in rock music. When the subject material of the album presented itself, I was drawn to the term Ragnarök from Norse mythology – their version of apocalyptic end times or Biblical Armageddon. The “final showdown” scenario is ubiquitous and inherent in Hinduism, Christianity and Islam, for example. Ragnarök translates as “destiny of the Gods”, the rök part meaning destiny, course, direction. With umlaut firmly in place, courtesy of the Germanic origins of Old Norse, Flute became Flöte in keeping with the spelling. With me so far? I just can’t miss the glorious opportunity for a good and legitimate umlaut.”
Jethro Tull continue live dates this year, with shows in mainland Europe. Find the full list of shows here: https://jethrotull.com/tour-dates/
‘The Zealot Gene’, released in January 2022, was Jethro Tull’s 22nd studio album and it garnered critical acclaim across the board. Reaching #9 in the UK album charts, a feat the band hadn’t reached since 1972, it also debuted at #4 in Germany, #3 in Switzerland, #5 in Austria, #8 in Finland, as well as top 10 in the US Album Charts, Current Album Charts and Rock Album Charts.
With more than 30 albums to their credit and sales totaling more than 50 million, Jethro Tull are one of the most successful rock bands of all-time with a catalog that contains classics that still resonate today. Led by Ian Anderson, Tull still continue to tour throughout the world, entertaining audiences of all ages.
The band consists of: Ian Anderson – Concert and Alto flutes, Flute d’Amour, Irish whistle and vocals David Goodier – Bass guitar John O’Hara – Piano, keyboards and Hammond Organ Scott Hammond – Drums. Joe Parrish-James – Electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin
Following the band’s recent announcement, to release their forthcoming, eighth studio offering I Am The Storm on March 17, 2023 through AFM Records, today, Los Angeles-based progressive metal masters Redemption have unleashed a brand new single! By the end of 2022, the band already shared a first album foretaste with a music video for the colossal album title track I Am The Storm.
Band mastermind Nicolas van Dyk reveals: “If I Am The Storm showcases the heaviest aspect of Redemption, Seven Minutes From Sunset showcases a more melodic metal current of prog metal, as Someone Else’s Problem did on our last CD. As for the lyrics…they’re a metaphor. For the listener to decipher.”
Redemption belongs to one of the leading progressive metal bands in the heavy music world today. Formed in Los Angeles, California in 2000 by guitarist / keyboardist / songwriter Nicolas van Dyk, the band features iconic vocalist Thomas England of Evergrey, the rhythm section of Chris Quirarte (drums) and bassist Sean Andrews, as well as keyboard phenom Vikram Shankar.
As the album title already promises, I Am The Storm is a gripping, stirring, overwhelming and dramatic, new record by the power prog metal act. Combining unapologetic melodies and hooks with technicality, complexity and thundering riffs, Redemption once again occupies a unique place with its powerful, heavy, intelligent and deeply emotional music.
I Am The Storm was produced by van Dyk, Vikram Shankar and sound engineer/guitarist Simone Mularoni (DGM), who – alongside Chris Poland (ex-Megadeth) and Henrik Danhage (Evergrey) – will be also featured as a guest musician on the album. The new Redemption record also contains two cover songs, ‘Turn It On Again’ by Genesis and ‘Red Rain’ by Peter Gabriel.
Set to be released on March 17, 2023 via AFM Records, the album pre-sale has just started at THIS LOCATION!

“The Pain Behind It All” Tracklisting: 1. O.C.D. 2. Patterns In The Chaos 3. The Pain Behind It All 4. In The Hour Before Your Death 5. Clickhate 6. Enabler 7. Bring Me The Head Of The King 8. War Is My Will 9. Alone In A Crowded Room 10. Who Goes There?/I.F.F.
About MAN MUST DIE: Formed in Glasgow Scotland in 2002 as a project and quickly signed to Retribute Records in 2003, releasing their first album in 2004 entitled …start killing. Recorded in a low budget studio in Clydebank, Scotland with producer JF Dagenais making the long trip from Quebec to record/produce. Some extensive UK touring followed and the band the went on to become the first UK band ever to sign to US label Relapse Records in 2006, a 2 album deal was done and the first offering the Human Condition (2007) propelled the band onto the European stage with tours alongside Kataklysm, Aborted, Macabre, and misery index. The human condition also saw the band travel to Canada for a month long stay to record once again with JF Dagenais (Kataklysm) for an unforgettable adventure.
It was in 2009 when Man Must Die released what was their breakthrough album No Tolerance for Imperfection, recorded by Scott”the terminator”Atkins in England,UK. Featuring the tracks “Kill it skin it wear it”and “it Comes in threes” which will always be mainstays in the MMD setlists. On the back of this release MMD toured with the likes of Machine Head, Hatebreed, Exodus, Decapitated and Kataklysm.
Some years of set backs with Band members and life in general slowed progression after this release, some line up changes and the band was back in the studio in 2012 to record their 4th album Peace was never an option. At this point only the founding members Joe and Alan (the MMD writers) remained. The album was recorded By Micheal “Raphone” Allan (now the second guitarist in MMD) in a beaten up studio in the back of beyond in the east of Scotland. The Album was released in the UK with Grindscene records and in the Europe/world wide by Lifeforce records in Germany.
Now 8 years on Man Must Die are coming back with their angriest offering yet, with the most solid line up they ever had and the addition of a permanent second guitarist for the first time, and an insane Italian sticksman. Signing up with most exciting and innovating new label Distortion Music Group. MMD will once again bring the fight but in a bigger way than ever….
