VLAD IN TEARS was virtually reborn after decades when the three brothers Kris (vocals & piano), Lex (guitar) and Dario (bass) decided to move from old and sunny Italy to Germany in 2013. The brothers immediately showed their great musical skills and their ability to be fantastic live performers. This rapid development led to a steadily growing fan base to this day.

More than 20 years after the release of THERION’s legendary tenth album, Secrets Of The Runes, the album will be available on LP once again via Napalm Records on October 28, 2022! Secrets Of The Runes is a concept album inspired by Norse mythology, with its tracks centered around the nine worlds. Sonically, the ancient stories are wrapped in the band’s signature mix of their deep metal sound combined with bombastic classical arrangements and choir.
Compared to other albums by the Swedes, the sound Secret Of The Runes is more raw and brutal, and offers a high variety of sounds. On the one hand, acoustic, quiet tones dominate like on “Ljusalfheim”, while “Muspelheim”offers a splendid hard guitar explosion. At the same time, classical influences overlay it all and are complemented by Celtic and often even oriental melody lines. Secret Of The Runes is a perfect example of how THERION deftly blur the boundaries of metal and classical music!

About Lemuria:
More than 15 years after its simultaneous original release with fellow catalog favorite Sirius B back in 2004, Symphonic Metal originators THERION re-release their album Lemuria in LP format on October 28, 2022 via Napalm Records! Both Sirius B and Lemuria – the latter of which references the mysterious sunken island Lemuria – feature over 170 musicians throughout the two recordings, positioning them as the most elaborate albums of their career. The styles range from gothic parts to melodic death metal and neo-classical elements to power metal in a complex and versatile way. This becomes particularly clear in the opener “Typhon”, which is introduced by some riffs, later transitioning into an orchestral, but not yet opulent passage. A wide range of feeling is also presented largely due to diverse vocals, including soprano and alto singers, tenor and bass singers, solo pieces and even atmospheric choirs. With “Uthark Runa”, the album veers back into heavy metal territory, but with a good portion of orchestral bombast added. Lemuria plays its way gently, melancholically and dreamily into our hearts, only to rock properly in the next moment with rhythmic melody and the ever-present bombast in the sound.

Sirius B offers a high variety of musical styles, not only due the incredible talent of Christopher Johnsson, but the 170+ musicians involved in its recording process. The album picks up seamlessly where part one, Lemuria, left off, as opener “Blood Of Kingu” begins as a traditional heavy metal song before evolving into an extremely catchy operatic metal composition in the chorus, characterized by a great female vocal. The following “Son Of The Sun” is also dominated by these female vocals against classic metal riffs combined with catchy melodies. On “The Khlysti Evangelist”, singer Mats Leven takes center stage again and is supported by various male choir backings, giving the song a rather theatrical touch, but nevertheless making it one of the many highlights of this double album. With “Call Of Dagon”,THERION fully unleash all the bombastic elements that were available for this album. THERION convince on Sirius Bwith finest bombast – versatile yet heavy.

About Gothic Kabbalah:
Originally released in 2007,Gothic Kabbalahis a concept album based on the book ‘Adulrunan och den götiska kabbalan’ by Thomas Karlsson. This book tells story of Johannes Bureus, who mixed the magic, astrology and alchemy of the 17th century with runes and old Norse gods in order to create his philosophy called ‘Gothic Kabbalah’. Musically, Gothic Kabbalah differs significantly from its two predecessors Lemuria and Sirius B, as THERION offer a more progressive approach, and due to the increased use of female lead vocals, the album is wrapped in a gothic touch. The operatic elements have been slightly reduced, though they are still omnipresent. Pieces like opener “Mitternachtslöwe”, the title track or “Son Of The Staves Of Time” show Christofer Johnsson’s gifted songwriting talents and reveal new facts with each listen. “Chain Of Minerva” surprises with a very unusual groove, but just like “Three Treasures”, it is an absolute highlight of Gothic Kabbalah.

“Red Death Masquerade is the first video published for our new album “Alea Iacta Est” and is the first song created with the new line up. (Actually we have changed again for the third times in nine months).” Says vocalist Gabriele.
He continues: “We have written this song during the first lockdown in our home studio and thanks the technology we could trade the files and then recorded it at THE Cat’s Cage Recording Studios by Francesco Salvadeo. About the lyrics we have take source of inspiration by an Edgar Allan Poe’s novel called Red Death Mask. Musically we think the song have some good killer thrash guitars riff and very aggressive parts of drums. If someone asks what similar band we could answer Entombed meets Godflesh meets Kreator meets Prong!!! Probably our faster song of the album. As video we have choose a dynamic cover created by STRX studio and design.”

Alea Iacta Est was recorded, mixed and mastered at The Cat’s Cage Studios by Francesco Salvadeo, and will drop on September 30, 2022 through Italy’s powerhouse label Argonauta Records, with a pre-sale available at THIS LOCATION. The album tracklist reads as follows:
LITTLE CAESAR is best remembered for its version of the soul music song “Chain of Fools,” a 1989 hit single from its self-titled debut album on DGC Records, a subsidiary of Geffen Records. John Kalodner did A&R work for the group, and Bob Rock (Metallica, Mötley Crüe, etc.) produced its debut self-titled album, which was released to positive reviews. On the strength of the singles “Chain of Fools” (a cover of the Aretha Franklin song) and “In Your Arms,” Little Caesar hit number 139 on the US Billboard 200 in 1990.
The band recently reissued its 2009 release Redemption and 2012’s American Dream. Both had been remastered and repackaged for a limited deluxe edition featuring four accompanying live tracks. Due to the great response to those releases, they are now remastering and releasing 1998’s This Time It’s Different in its entirety. This album features the classic line up of Ron Young, Loren Molinare, Tom Morris, Fidel Paniagua, as well Earl Slick (David Bowie, John Lennon), and a guest appearance by Randy Bachman (The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive). Ron Young had this to say, “We are excited to rerelease these oddball gems. It’s sort of a behind the scenes look into our music and features some songs that had alternate lyrics, song demos, and tracks that the corporate ears passed on for a major release.”
This is the third in a series of reissues coming through the bands new imprint label Dirty Deeds Records/Deko Entertainment. The band will also be kicking off their European tour on September 8, in Belgium, making stops in France, Austria, Spain, and the Netherlands, before wrapping up in Germany on October 1.

JARI BEHM is a finnish musician who is known especially among friends of heavier music. He was the bassist for Stratovarius in early 90’s. Later on for finnish bands like Tunnelvision and STUD.
He was two decades away from music business until he started to put more effort on music again a few years ago. It was finally time to release his own music as he has been composing songs since the middle of 80’s when he started his music career. There are many unreleased tracks in his drawer waiting to be released. E.g. Fight for a victory was composed already 25 years ago.
“Break from music gave me perspective how I would like to produce the music and I felt it is the time to finally release my own music. Today many good songs have been ruined with extreme compression and over producing. Distinctiveness of instruments and sound quality are very important part of the whole picture and I put special attention into this”, says Jari who has mixed, produced and mastered the music by himself and he continues;
“I found perfect musicians for the track. Guest on the drums is Toni Paananen and Berzan Önen on vocals. I have composed and made lyrics by myself and also played basses, guitars and synths. I hope people find this track as an empowering one”
“Fight for a victory is a sample of the upcoming album and it can be put in to Progressive metal genre box. I promise that I will not repeat myself on the album as the music genre of my music varies from metal, funk, classical, hard rock to blues”

‘Pleasure Victim’ is a sleaze powered runaway train; an homage to the decadence and debauchery of the late 80s/early 90s Soho rock scene.
