No one combines death and black metal quite like Poland’s HATE. With unflinching viciousness and a sense of atmosphere unique to the band, Rugia, the band’s twelfth full-length released last Fall via Metal Blade Records, pushes the boundaries of their craft even further.
Rugia, which earned the #30 spot on Billboard’s Current Hard Music Albums chart and #33 on Billboard’s Top New Artists Albums chart in the US as well as the #25 on Billboard’s Current Hard Music Albums chart in Canada upon its first week of release, is currently available on CD, LP, and digital formats.
The celebrations for EPICA’s 20th anniversary are in full swing. On September 2nd, the Symphonic metal titans will re-issue their first three albums “The Phantom Agony”, “Consign To Oblivion” and “The Score”, which have become milestones of the genre and rarities within the physical market. Each record will be available in either a CD box, a collector’s LP box or as an earbook and will come with previously unreleased bonus tracks for each album, as well as the spectacular live audio and video of “Live At Paradiso” and “We Will Take You With Us”.
Today the band, once again, returns to the past with the release of their evergreen anthem ‘The Last Crusade’ performed during their legendary Paradiso show in 2006.
“’The Last Crusade’ was played very often in France during our early years as it became the anthem of our French fanclub, the French Crusade”, guitarist/growler Mark Jansen remembers “That song always got the party going, great vibes from the crowd and great memories.“
Join ‘The Last Crusade’ now and watch the live video here:

Gothic Metal band VLAD IN TEARS will release their new studio album “Porpora” on September 19th on Metalville Records.
Untiring and insatiable, VLAD IN TEARS are always looking for new sounds, contamination and blend the melody perfectly with very dark sounds ranging from 80’s Wave to the hardest and most modern sound of Rock with guitars in drop C and D. The strongest point of the Band is the voice of the singer Kris, which has no limits.
Kris about “Porpora”: “This album is absolutely our most important work so far. It took us almost 2 years to make. It’s been written during the lock-down,in fact, all the topics treated in this album are related to loneliness, sorrow, dark heavy thoughts about death, self harm and suicide. I’ve been personally struggling with these heavy thoughts myself, and, writing these songs it has been very Therapeutic.
I believe that whoever has been facing these hard times and feelings at least once in their life, will find this Album meaningful and helpful, since I’ve managed to survive those dark times and I have written about it.
We can’t simply give up to our hopes and dreams,we have to keep fighting for it.”

Texas rock band, KINGDOM COLLAPSE are taking the world by storm with their undeniable songwriting, die-hard fanbase, and DIY work ethic.
The band’s new single “Break Free” is a follow-up to THREE consecutive rock hits that have each become SiriusXM Octane #1 Most played songs. (i.e. Uprise, Unbreakable, Save Me From Myself), two of which also charted on the Billboard and Mediabase Top 40 charts for Mainstream Rock.
Kingdom Collapse has recently partnered with The Fuel Music (Adelitas Way, Thousand Foot Krutch, Red, etc.) for distribution. The band’s singer, Jonathan Norris adds, “We’re stoked to have such an awesome team around us that believes in the independent vision of the band.” The band has shown that nothing stands in their way as they approach the release of the new single with a stacked touring schedule.
Kingdom Collapse has been touring viciously in the past year with bands such as From Ashes To New, Fire From The Gods, Adelitas Way, Nonpoint, Hinder, Attack Attack, and more.

Talking about NECRONOMICON’s upcoming 11th yet untitled studio album, Freddy, the band’s frontman and vocalist shared:
“We’ve started with the guitar & vocal recordings. As always we will produce this in our own home studio. At the same time Rik is recording the drum parts and Glen is working on the solos, so Achim Köhler will get the finished production still in July and will start with the mix & mastering. The new album will include 13 songs full of power and hardness. A wide spectrum from typical thrash metal versions over punk-heavy versions to driving midtempi songs.”
“As the world is becoming to resemble the H.P. Lovecraft’s Necronomicon (Book of Dead) we have decided to deal with the current situation in Ukraine and in general with the topic of war and violence against children and women. Musically I would like to tie in with “The Final Chapter” and deliver a wide range of song material which also means a new beginning, a new chapter of the band with Rik and Glen at the same time. You can be curious.”

“AfterLife” and “IOU” were met with rave reviews from Loudwire and Guitar World, respectively. Loudwire proclaimed the first single was a “hard-hitting rock radio gem,” while Guitar World described the latter as a “blend of savage riffing and catchy vocal hooks over a rhythm section of thunderous, headbang-worthy grooves.” Additionally, in just under a month, “Welcome To The Circus,” earned over 4 million streams across platforms. The band tapped their longtime collaborator Kevin Churko(Ozzy Osbourne, Skillet etc.) to produce the band’s ninth and arguably most diverse record.
Amassing over 8 billion streams and 3 billion video views to date, 5FDP has sold over one million tickets between 2018 and 2020 alone. The band has been lighting up stages in Europe over the last month, with tonight’s last show taking place in Finland. Later this summer, 5FDP will be heading out on tour with special guest Megadeth, performing in cities across North America. Set to kickoff in Portland on August 19, which coincides with the release of AFTERLIFE, the tour will span over 30 dates, closing out in Salt Lake City on October 15.
