BALLS GONE WILD havereleased “Hangman”, the second single from the forthcoming new studio album “Stay Wild”, released by Metalville Records on July 22nd. Watch the video below.
To celebrate the band’s 10th anniversary, the guys are giving themselves an album with 11 songs full of power, melody and above all hooks, hooks, hooks.
The band recorded the new record with producer Martin Buchwalter at Gernhart Studio in Troisdorf (near Cologne), just like the previous album “High Roller”.
The listener immediately notices that three guys have gone to work here who know how to hold their instruments. The joy of playing and good humour drip out of every pore when you put on the songs and turn them up.
So… LISTEN LOUD!!!
BALLS GONE WILD – This is the punk and hard rock sound of the 70s and 80s with a fresh wind in the here and now!
The smell of beer is in the air and it sounds like the result of an extramarital liaison between Motörhead and AC/DC.

Speaking on the announcement of their new album, AMON AMARTH share:
“The armada of the Great Heathen Army is at sea on the way to raid, but before we land at distant shores on August 5th we have a new single and video for you to feast on. This is the title track from the new album with a video we shot with the talented Pavel Trebukhin in Riga, Latvia. Who will you choose to fight with? The Vikings or the Saxons? Choose well and the Gods will decide your fate.”
One of the best-loved metal bands in the world, AMON AMARTH are firmly dedicated to aiming high when they hit the studio. Recorded with esteemed studio guru Andy Sneap at the controls, ‘The Great Heathen Army‘ represents another bold leap forward for the band, as their trademark sound undergoes yet another skilful, evolutionary overhaul, both lyrically and musically. From the noisily rabble-rousing “Find A Way Or Make One” and the pummelling, pugilistic “Get In The Ring“, to the evocative fury of “Saxons & Vikings” and the cinematic squall of the title track, ‘The Great Heathen Army‘ encapsulates the essence of this legendary band, while still allowing acres of space for new ideas.

Italian rock act IRONWILL have released a new video for ‘Breakout’ taken from the homonymous album, released in 2020/2021. Watch the video below.
Soulful strength leads out of the nightmare of weakness!
IRONWILL – Psychological rock – THE PROJECT: ROCK AGAINST BULLYING
The Rock against Bullying project was born in 2018 from an initiative by Salvo “Ironwill” Dell’Arte: the band is part of a wide kaleidoscope in which all artistic forms are involved: music, photography, video, comics, illustration and works of art. IRONWILL ‘s aim is to bring together the best artists who are able to express, the importance of the themes dealt with in each phase of the project, through their emotions.
IRONWILL believes that rock music and other forms of art are the best way to communicate with people, especially young people and teenagers, the light of the soul that everyone needs on the evolution path of their lives. Art is part of life and is the best way to help us give true meaning to our journey on this Earth.
IRONWILL aims to deal with personal and psychological issues, offering different points of view into the depths of one’s soul, trying to shine a warm light at the audience.
The first chapter dealt with bullying; in 2019 IRONWILL recorded the concept album “The Jonathan’s Journey”.
The second chapter released in 2020/2021, called “Breakout”, is about the evolution of souls; 10 songs (plus an introductory single) linked by the same perspective: a positive evolution.
In the meantime, IRONWILL are experimenting with a return to blues with a set of singles in which the crossover between rock and blues allows them to explore the themes musically. This fascinating exploration is called B2B Back to Blues.
Israel born and LA based heavy rock artist OHP (OREN HALMUT) has invaded 90s pop nostalgia with his brutal #metalcover of mega-popular girls band SPICE GIRLS hit single, “Wannabe”. Originally premiered on METAL INSIDER, is just the newest in the enigmatic artist’s YouTube revelations, which fans should explore, like, and follow HERE!
“I chose ‘Wannabe’ because its such an iconic song of the ’90s–it’s such a distinct time piece of that decade–and I really wanted to give it a modern take. I tried to stay true to the original while giving it a completely new tonality, so i kept the original key and bpm of the song, taking out all the bubble gum pop and replacing it with live instruments.“
”‘Wannabe’ is performed with LA friends and session players Yohai Portal (lead guitar), Nick Diiorio (bass), and Lenergizer (drums), and shot in a warehouse in Los Angeles during Covid as part of a full OHP Live show. I decided to utilize the time when all live music was put on hold, due to the pandemic, to organize a group of musicians, and to take my youtube channel live. Being a single, one stop shop musician, I chose the best people I believe fit the job, and put together this show with a great production company called Dark Bright that provided all the sound and lighting needed. Time to add some metal to this wannabe…” – OHP

On September 9th, progressive death metal outfit REVOCATION will release their eighth full-length, Netherheaven, via Metal Blade Records. For a first preview of the album, a video for the new single “Diabolical Majesty” (directed by David Brodsky // mgenyc.com) can be viewed at: metalblade.com/revocation – where Netherheaven is also available for pre-order in various formats.
Revocation songwriter/front-man Dave Davidson comments: “It’s always hard choosing the first single off of a new album, but we felt that ‘Diabolical Majesty’ really captures the mood of ‘Netherheaven’ overall. It’s a thrashing, death metal ripper that’s got a little something for everyone, whether you’re the first one to activate a circle pit at a show or if you just like to bang your fucking head. The music video was filmed by our good friends Dave Brodsky and Allison Woest, and they’ve once again outdone themselves on this one! Special thanks to the Sk8 Liborius crew for letting us rage in their space for a couple days. Lyrically, ‘Diabolical Majesty’ was inspired by the Satanic Temple’s ongoing struggle with the religious right and their battle to display the statue of the Baphomet in the face of censorship and legal action. To quote American author Chris Hedges, ‘The merger of the corporatists with the Christian right is the marrying of Godzilla to Frankenstein.’ These words ring even truer now that extremist Christian politicians have begun imposing their authoritarian rule as they seek to completely undo the separation of church and state.“
Brett Bamberger (bass) adds: “Filming for ‘Diabolical Majesty’ hyped me up on every level! You can’t beat ripping a video with the crew WHILE having a session and several Busch Waters. Skating at Liborius reminded me of my first time checking out SPOT & Asbury Park when I was a kid. I don’t think I’ve even seen a vert ramp since those days since I’ve always been a tech dawg! It was really special to be able to combine all my beloved passions in the sesh & hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!“

Upon record release, Revocation will kick off a North American headlining tour with Krisiun, Alluvial, and Inoculation as support. “We cannot wait to play a bunch of new songs on our first headlining tour back since the pandemic,” enthuses Davidson. “We’ll be joined alongside the Brazilian berserkers in Krisiun, progressive death metal wizards Alluvial and newcomers Inoculation who combine an OSDM aesthetic with a more modern, technical approach. Don’t miss the killer lineup, come out and circle pit for Satan!“

Four years in the making, the Billboard-charting trio that is Revocation – Dave Davidson (vocals/guitars), Ash Pearson (drums), and Brett Bamberger (bass) – meticulously explore the allegorical and literal aspects of Hell as they dig deeper into the darker, more diabolical side of death metal. In short, where the previous album, The Outer Ones (2018), jettison Revocation into the horrific maw of the cosmos, Netherheaven bores deftly through the nine rings of Hell to directly confront Lucifer and his multitudinous faces. “We’re definitely in more of a death metal mindset than on earlier albums in our catalog,” asserts Davidson. “We’re focusing on how we can write the best death metal-centric album that we possibly can while still pushing our boundaries. The new songs on ‘Netherheaven’ are evil and sinister but also have a progressive element to them to keep things interesting. It’s got our stamp on it, no question.“
Netherheaven was written during downtime after the album cycle for The Outer Ones was complete. The album’s nine tracks were written solely by Davidson, who spent his time between genuflecting at the altars of Luc Lemay (Gorguts), Chuck Schuldiner (Death), Marty Friedman (Megadeth), and celebrated jazz guitarists Wes Montgomery and Kurt Rosenwinkel. Between writing killer riffs and absolutely wild solos, the seven-stringer also practiced (technique), studied (theory), and taught guitar. Revocation truly changed gears when Davidson picked up audio engineering (with Apple’s Logic Pro) to use the pandemic-era lockdowns effectively. It made perfect sense for him to helm the engineer and producer’s chair at his newly-built HeatWave Studios for Netherheaven. Revocation then sourced Swedish studio ace Jens Bogren (Opeth, Kreator) to mix and master at Fascination Street Studios.
“We put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into the album,” says Davidson. “We want people to be inspired. It’s brutal. We brought our A-game on ‘Netherheaven’.“
Netherheaven track-listing 1. Diabolical Majesty 2. Lessons in Occult Theft 3. Nihilistic Violence 4. Strange and Eternal 5. Galleries of Morbid Artistry 6. The 9th Chasm 7. Godforsaken 8. Today, Ukrainian blackened death/doom metal visionaries 1914 have announced the re-release of their highly acclaimed debut album, Eschatology of War, as well as their sophomore album, The Blind Leading The Blind. Both releases will now be available on cassette tape, limited to 200 copies per title and available exclusively via Napalm Records mailorder.
Profits of these limited edition cassette tapes will be donated to the band directly in order to support their country in the ongoing war.
1914 state: “Just like a hundred years ago, Ukraine is at war again. As a hundred years ago – the enemy is the same. Then, during the Great War, we were part of the Great European Family – the Habsburg Empire. Now we are fighting for our right to return to the great family of European nations. We are fighting for the right to exist, to live, to joy, to raise children and dream about the future. We sang about the Great War until this war came to our home and became a part of our everyday life. But we do not give up and the whole world is on our side, your help is incredibly important to us. All funds raised from the sales of these albums will go to support Ukraine in its fight against the invaders. Make your contribution to the fight against imperialism and tyranny! Remember – One day the empire will fall! A tyrant’s overthrow is the only acceptable way!”
