MOTHER OF MILLIONS have released the fourth and final video, from their EP “Orbit”. It´s a beautiful piano version of the song Rome.
Orbit is the band’s first release after the loss of keybordist Makis Tsamkosoglou, during a show in June 2019. It is a soul-searching, introspective and affecting record, that attempts to share all emotions that followed this tragic event. Recording it, was described by the band as a necessary healing experience for its restart process.
Mother of Millions is a prog-metal quartet based in Athens, Greece.
The band has released 3 albums, “Human” (Bungalo 2014), “Sigma” (ViciSolum Productions 2017), Artifacts (ViciSolum Productions 2019), getting the most positive reviews from the audience and the global music press. A new EP is soon to be released, while Mother of Millions are working on a new album.
The band performed sold-out headline shows in Athens, shows with Textures on their last European tour, support shows with Ruud Jolie’s For All We Know in the Netherlands, while the band has shared the stage with artists such as Pain of Salvation, Devin Townsend, Leprous, Oceans of Slumber, Septic Flesh etc.
In June 2019 during a show promoting Artifacts, Mother of Millions’ keyboardist and beloved friend Makis Tsamkosoglou passed away. Following this tragic incident, the band decided to keep going as a quartet.
Mother of Millions sounds equally massive as cinematic. Intense soundscapes involving elaborate rhythms, folk aesthetics and progressive rock tunes.

Prog legend CYNIC have released a rare, never seen before live performance video of “King of Those Who Know” from their 2010 ‘Traced in Air’ tour in Mexico City at the EYESCREAM METALFEST II. The footage was lost until recently, when producer/animation director, Gabriel Raso sent the recovered footage to the band. The video is dedicated to the memory of drummer, Sean Reinert.
CYNIC founder Paul Masvidal comments: “I’m grateful to be sharing this rare moment from our concert history with you. Cynic was a fluid and supercharged band at this point after many tours for Traced in Air, so it’s a real gift to revisit this show again. It also touches my heart to see the great, Sean Reinert doing what he did best. Hugs to the friends and colleagues who helped make this night happen, and thank you Mexico for a memorable evening, you guys rule!
Love, Paul Masvidal”.

CYNIC‘s latest release Ascension Codes is a remarkably far-reaching work, and if nothing else, a clear indication that they have landed in a place of mastery. The album, paradoxically, acts as both swan song and rebirth.
The Sign Records are happy to announce that Rokets has joined the label for the release of their second studio album ”Break Free”. Hailing from the Finnish capital of Helsinki, Rokets delivers an explosion of electrifying rock’n’roll. Previously seen gigging around Finland and the Baltic states, Rokets released their debut EP Speed & Sound in 2019, followed by the well received 2020 album ”Fast Times”. Now, the group is set to launch their second full length, kicking things off with the brand new single ”Cherry Kiss”.
The band comments:
”After the recording of our debut album Fast Times our bass player, second guitarist and drummer have changed. Nevertheless you will still absolutely hear that signature sound of ours with an addition of razor sharp dynamics in the groove. All glory to the lovely people of The Sign Records for taking us under their sonic wings and presenting this single to the masses. The song tells a story of an irresistible seductress that will be the end of you. She’ll lure you in, take you down and make you wish you would’ve made that U-turn when you still had the chance. There’s no escaping this femme fatale!”
Rokets‘ new single ”Cherry Kiss” is out now and you can listen to it through your favorite streaming platformor right here:
Rokets are: Sami Mustonen – lead vocals Sakke Vänttinen – electric guitar, backing vocals Elias Laurila – electric guitar, backing vocals Lauri Lyytinen – bass guitar Otto Bigler – drums
Four years on from their last long player FUNERAL CHIC have today announced their third full-length album – titled Roman Candle. Set to be released on July 29 via Prosthetic Records, Roman Candle represents something of a metamorphosis and renewal for the quartet. Alongside the album announcement, FUNERAL CHIC have shared lead single Spit & Crawl with a raucous accompanying music video.
Speaking on the album announcement, the band comments: “Spit & Crawl is our Hotel California, except it’s about angeldust instead of coke. This whole record is a bad acid trip, and this song is just the first tab. We could’ve quietly went away like so many other bands during the pandemic; instead we came back to make all your lives worse.”
Holding no desire to make the same album twice, FUNERAL CHIC have eschewed the punk-led powerviolence that informed their previous work and have embraced the great tradition of American rock and roll – but given it a very distinctive FUNERAL CHIC twist. The swagger of proto-punk forefathers The Stooges and The New York Dolls imbues the darkest, grittiest corners of their reinvigorated sound, and can also be found on their cover of Roky Erickson’s Two Headed Dog. The caustic energy of early thrash and black metal scenes is also present, flickering with unmistakable incandescence throughout.
Having previously led with their outspoken politics, this time the lyrics are refracted through a more personal – but no less fervoured – lens. With members of the band taking a path of sobriety in recent years, the knot of rage that was previously doused with alcohol has been channeled into the lyrics on Roman Candle instead. Ten tales of sweat and pungent aggression dripping into a powder keg of a global identity crisis weave throughout the album’s length.
Recorded at Legit Biz, in Greensboro, NC with engineer, Kris Hilbert, FUNERAL CHIC guitarist, Robert Stroud, oversaw production, before the album was mixed by Matt Russell and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. Throughout the process of creating Roman Candle, FUNERAL CHIC has – without ceremony – sloughed away old skin to reveal something new beneath. The volatile and unpredictable experience of living in modern day America is distilled via the mercurial sound of aggressive punk, sleazy Americana, and raw heavy metal. Roman Candle marks the beginning of the next blistering chapter for FUNERAL CHIC.
Roman Candle tracklist: 1. Made in America 2. Spit & Crawl 3. Roman Candle 4. Satisfaction 5. Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere 6. Lose 7. Built to Love 8. Born to Kill 9. Last Line Blues 10. Two Headed Dog
SUPERSONIC BLUES MACHINE have revealed lyric video for a new track ‘All Our Love’, feat. Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke). The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album “Voodoo Nation”, set to be released on June 24th via Provogue / Mascot Label Group.
The new album features special guests Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke), Eric Gales, Joe Louis Walker, Ana Popovic, Kirk Fletcher, King Solomon Hicks, Josh Smith & Sonny Landreth

Talking about the rootsy rocker “All Our Love,” Fabrizio Grossi says, “This Is the last song that came together for the album, almost unplanned. Big fires, protests, covid and all the of the world downfalls surfacing like never before. It got us to reflect on what it’d take to change all this for the better. I know it’s sounds cliche’, but Love is the answer ! Love for ourselves, the others, the planet and everything on it …with a big dose of Respect as well.”
At the core of the band is producer/bass player Fabrizio Grossi (Steve Vai, Alice Cooper, George Clinton, Slash) and drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp, Meat Loaf, Brandon Flowers, John Fogerty, Red Hot Chili Peppers) with British rocker Kris Barras replacing Lance Lopez as singer-guitarist. Barras has a recent UK Top 30 album chart hit in March himself, and he is leading the pack of the British hard rock revival with several A-list singles, BBC Radio appearances and sell-out shows.
Talking about the album Grossi goes on, “The general discontent in the world at the moment is so widespread, we get told to embrace it because that’s life,” says Fabrizio Grossi. “No, that’s not life,” he asserts. “It’s how we’re forced to live nowadays. Voodoo Nation refers to the times we’re living in, at least here in the States, but I guess the whole world can relate. We’re getting to the point where we’re living out life almost as Zombies. We’re little machines.”
But there is always hope, which is what Supersonic Blues Machine has always been about.
Track list: Money Too Late Coming thru You And Me (feat. King Solomon Hicks) Get It Done (feat. Josh Smith) 8 Ball Lucy (feat. Sonny Landreth) Devil At The Doorstep (feat. Eric Gales) Is It All (feat. Joe Louis Walker) Do It Again (feat. Ana Popovic) I Will Let Go (feat. Kirk Fletcher) Voodoo Nation All Our Love (feat. Charlie Starr)
Voodoo Nation is the band’s third studio album. On their evolution, Fabrizio says, “Kris comes from this British school of hard rock and blues. This is a different sound to Kenny and me with the Allman Brothers, Sly Stone & The Family & Mountain. On Californisoul (2017), we were going more West Coast Funkadelic 60s and overall jam vibe. Blues but with more of a hippy flower power.” “With Kris, we wanted his footprint there, so that’s why you hear Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Gary Moore. Kind of a Union Jack imprint over a Star-Spangled Banner.”
The lyrical front on Voodoo Nation is less forgiving than everything in the past. “I’m not saying fuck flower power because that’s always the message,” Grossi says. “But there are very introspective things and a lot of the theatrics that we are dealing with on this record which I would say are fairly common in the blues but are dealt with a twist. There is a lot of Devil’s stuff in this record.”
