The theme is that of abreaction, a term that in psychotherapy indicates the path that leads to reliving a trauma and through this we arrive at overcoming it: unfortunately a current theme in the times we are living in.
This is the re-edition of a song made in 2018 and now remixed and remastered by Cristiano Sacchi. It is a song entirely self-produced by guitarist Marco Germani and his label After Life Music Dimension and is part of the “Limbo Neutrale” project, a multimedia project that includes two novels, music and visual arts.
Even the video clip has been revived with a new coloring more suited to the mood of the song. The video and the cover photo are made by Elisa Collimedaglia.

CONQUER DIVIDE and Mascot Records / Mascot Label Group have released the official music video for ‘Atonement’, watch it below.
The song, “Atonement,” was premiered by Sirius XM’s “Octane” during the program’s Women In Rock Week-end. Since release, the track has over 500,000 comprehensive streams. Guitarist Kristen Sturgis shares, “The song touches on feelings of regret, which we tried to convey in the video. You can see one of our other music videos in the reflection of the eye, for example. They’re watching the time tick by wondering what their life could have been like if they would have toughed it out and put the work in. The hardest things in life are the most rewarding, and life is short. So, if you’re not ready to meet us on our level, then get out of the way.” Drummer Sam Landa adds, “The word atonement is about making reparations; about seeking forgiveness; about feeling sorry for something you’ve done and hoping to make things right. In the context of this song, it’s too late for that – the damage has already been done and there’s no going back. The song tries to capture the feelings of betrayal, of being left high and dry by people who wanted to take the easy way out. The emotions really explode in the breakdown, and the progression mirrors how situations like this can build up in real life. There’s a kind of calm before the storm, and then another sense of calm after. ‘We don’t know who you are’, and we’ve accepted that – just don’t try to come back and beg for forgiveness when you’ve exhausted all of your chances.”
The five-piece band hailing from the U.S., U.K. and Canada have made a steady progression from their melodic metalcore inspired roots, maturing into a formidable hard rock act, nearing the end of their first decade together. In 2020, featuring a re-tooled all female lineup consisting of Kiarely Castillo (vocals) Janel Duarte (vocals, Bass) Kristen Sturgis (guitar), Izzy Johnson (guitar) and Sam Landa (drums), they returned to the studio with 2x Grammy nominated producer Tyler Smyth (Falling in Reverse, I Prevail) and 4x RIAA certified gold record producer Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Of Mice & Men).
They came back with a bang, moving in a more accessible direction with the release of ‘Chemicals’, which was dubbed “contender for best hard rock/metalcore crossover of the year” by Alt Press Magazine. The song peaked at #23 on the Hard Rock Indicator Billboard chart, and amassed almost two million streams on Spotify. A week later, they released a hard-hitting cover of “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish, which quickly accumulated 1.5 million streams and went into regular rotation on Sirius XM Octane.
By the spring of 2021, their next effort marked a stark departure from the sound they honed on their debut, showing their softer side with the mainstream and surprisingly poppy single “Messy.” The track exhibits a maturation of their songwriting ability, with clever wordplay and instantly memorable pop tendencies. It was added into regular rotation on Sirius XM Octane, reached #6 on the Foundations Chart, and became number one most added to the Billboard Hard Rock Indicator Chart. Guitarist Izzy shares, “Our music over the years has become so versatile. Our next album stays true to our metalcore roots but branches out to softer songs, heavy songs and everything in the middle. We understand that people can have a variety of music tastes (like we do) from pop to metal, why not have it all in one place? There really is something for everyone.”
The band’s emerging global fan base emanates from their power as a band. It is not defined by gender, but a body of work that is connecting with males and females alike. It’s this groundswell that led to Mascot Records / Mascot Label Group aligning with Conquer Divide. An affirmation that this collective is on the verge of prominence, standing shoulder to shoulder with likeminded musicians redefining the Rock space. They honor the legacy of those who came prior, while also making an emphatic statement to all they encounter that Rock truly does live circa 2022.
Conquer Divide is managed by Wild Justice Management. Their hard work and efforts put forth as an independent band consistently charting amongst their signed peers sets the stage for great things to come in alliance with this new partnership with Mascot Label Group. Signed by North American President of the company Ron Burman, the girls are excited to partner with a company that allows them to express their creative vision and stay true to their roots, as well as one that has such a long-standing history with successful mainstream rock acts.
“We’ve all grown so much since our first record. We did a lot of introspection and soul-searching about which creative direction to take the band in next, and we can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on. There will be something for everyone on our sophomore album.” states guitarist Kristen Sturgis.
New York/New Jersey metal collective TOMBS is now premiering a faithful and brutalizing cover of Motörhead’s iconic song, “Killed by Death.” In true Motörhead fashion, bassist Drew Murphy takes the vocal lead on this one, channeling the gruff rock ‘n’ roll spirit of Lemmy Kilmister with perfect precision. The song features guest guitarist Dan Higgins of HAMMERFIGHT, who performs with Murphy in New Jersey’s premier Motörhead tribute band, ENGINEHEAD. The song and accompanying visualizer can be found at THIS LOCATION.
In addition, Murphy created the single artwork in which he reimagines Snaggletooth for this tribute that is now available as a special merch design which can be found at the official TOMBS Bandcamp HERE.
The single is the latest from TOMBS‘ upcoming ‘Ex-Oblivion’ digital EP, for which the final single will be made available on July 13. All songs will be available via Bandcamp, YouTube, and across all streaming services while a vinyl counterpart will be announced at a later date.

Together with Napalm Records, JINJER drummer Vlad Ulasevich has released a brand new drum playthrough for the track “Copycat”. The song is cut from JINJER‘s latest and most successful album yet, Wallflowers, which subsequently hit the top of the charts all around the globe upon release and met with stellar critical acclaim.
The “Copycat” playthrough video was directed by Kadim Tarasov of Mriya Productions and filmed at the LED cave “One” location in Kyiv. It marks the first in a three part drum playthrough series to be released. Originally planned to be unveiled in late February, the band and label decided to delay the video release due to the unexpected breakout of war in the band’s home country on February 24, 2022.
After wading through nearly two years of the pandemic, JINJER released their most in-demand studio album, Wallflowers, this past summer. In addition to several other top spots, the band landed at #7 on the German charts, #5 on the official UK Rock & Metal album charts, #1 on both the US Billboard Top New Artist Album charts and Canadian Hard Music album charts, and #2 on the US Hard Music album charts.
The Ukrainian four-piece played a short but successful European summer festival and club tour, and ended 2021 with a sold-out North American tour, making them one of the few bands that managed to grow organically during such tough times.
Although they were forced to cancel a North American tour with Slipknot and as well as a Latin American headline tour due to the war in Ukraine, JINJER called upon their fans to help raise funds for their countrymen and women by releasing two special donation T-Shirt designs that can be bought HERE!
JINJER are slated to play festivals throughout Europe this summer and hope to not only once again spread their music to as many people as possible but to also act as ambassadors of Ukraine to make sure that the situation back home is not forgotten.

Death metal legends JUNGLE ROT have shared a ritualistic new video for ‘Genocidal Imperium’, the third single to be taken from their new album ACall to Arms, which is out now via Unique Leader.
For a band who’ve existed now for over 25 years, Jungle Rot are still hitting their prime with their savage new album.
Once again co-produced by Chris Djuricic and the band, A Call to Arms was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö. It’s the band’s newest record since their acclaimed self-titled 2018 release, praised by Loudwire, Decibel, Revolver, Metal Hammer and a host of celebrated publications.
TRACKLISTING: 1 A Call to Arms 2 Asymmetric Warfare 3 Beyond the Grave 4 Death Squad 5 Genocidal Imperium 6 Haunting Future 7 Maggot Infested 8 Population Suicide 9 Total Extinction 10 Vengeance And Bloodlust
Forever looking to push death metal groove with attitude, Jungle Rot are highly regarded globally. Jaded death metal purists looking for fresh kills need to add the band to their must-listen list – not just A Call to Arms but the band’s impressive and extensive back catalogue, including their 2013 reissue of their classic 1995 Skin The Living.
Shots firing overhead, out of breath, thankful to be alive, an exhausted, courageous soldier takes cover in a nearby trench. Overcome with tragedy, the cadet looks down to carefully remove his worn down combat boots to discover his feet numb and blue, knocking him back with an overwhelming smell of decay and gangrene. This phenomenon is known as “jungle rot”. With a little imagination, visualise this horrifyingly grotesque predicament as it would be in heavy metal form – teeming with despair, brutality, darkness and volatility. The sinister picture you have just painted comes to life in four-piece death metal act Jungle Rot, who has been triumphantly destroying the metal scene since 1994.
Hailing from Kenosha, Wisconsin, Jungle Rot has steadily collected fans by the thousands since their 1995 demo release Skin The Living. Critics, blown away by their chillingly explosive live shows, rewarded the band with stellar reviews and were offered their first record deal with Pulverized Records. Through new representation, the men released their first full-length project, Slaughter The Weak (1998) and were greeted by a tremendous amount of support from both the metal community and critics everywhere. Responding to a flood of new fans, the band rearranged their line-up, adapted their sound, produced new material, and began to dominate the Midwest tour circuit.
The following decade saw the band sign with Olympic Records in 2001, releasing Dead and Buried, and then in 2009 signing with Napalm Records, and their What Horrors Await LP.
The band have toured relentlessly across the world, including with Deicide, Entombed, Vader, Cattle Decapitation and many more. Inspired and motivated by their fans’ continued support, Jungle Rot went on to release the 2011 Kill on Command and eighth studio album Terror Regime (2013). Now signed to the mighty Unique Leader, the veterans make no sign of wavering or slowing down with the legendary brand of old-school thrash, death, and crossover crust punk.
