“Stay Wild” is the name of the new album by the turbo rock trio BALLS GONE WILD from Cologne, which will see the light of day on July 22nd 2022.
To celebrate the band’s 10th anniversary, the guys are giving themselves an album with 11 songs full of power, melody and above all hooks, hooks, hooks.
The band recorded the new record with producer Martin Buchwalter at Gernhart Studio in Troisdorf (near Cologne), just like the previous album “High Roller”.
The listener immediately notices that three guys have gone to work here who know how to hold their instruments. The joy of playing and good humour drip out of every pore when you put on the songs and turn them up.

SOURCE OF RAGE will make their label debut on 22 July with the new studio album “Witness The Mess” on Metalville Records.
The band from Hildesheim (near Hannover) stands for melodic groove metal. For danceable neckbreak together with the necessary technical finesse and catchy melodies. Just what makes the party mood and emotions spill over with a cold drink.
Oliver Roffmann and the three brothers Marko, Thilo and Riko Krause complement each other perfectly, which led to them winning the German final of the Wacken Open Air Metal Battles in 2019.
The tracks on the new album are intended to further establish the band’s own sub-genre and to create a unique selling point with their own sound as well as the content-related themes of the songs, which allows them to stand out from the large mass of good modern metal bands.

Today, May 4th, Ljubljana’s underground legends NOCTIFERIA have premiered their intriguing new video “Smrt za Smrt” (Death for Death). The song is taken from the band’s latest album ‘Reforma (tribute to Laibach)‘, released on May 28th 2021 via Blood Blast Distribution / Nika Records.
The band shared: “”Smrt za smrt” is one of the older Laibach songs we’ve re-made and it is also the last video we’ll release for the “Reforma” album. It is one of the most twisted and sick songs on the album with a horror-like atmosphere that we’ve partially transferred into the video that was shot on a remote location deep in the woods. The title translates into “Death for Death” and we’ve kept the lyrics in Slovene language, same as the original version. Fun facts: It’s the first whole song we ever did in our home language and the children’s voices were recorded by Igor’s daughters.” – Noctiferia

‘Reforma’, released May 28th 2021, is the latest studio album by NOCTIFERIA, a tribute to the legendary and world-renowned avant-garde band Laibach featuring three big and legendary names of metal scene; David Vincent – ex Morbid Angel, Vltimas, Attila Csihar – Mayhem and Jørgen Munkeby – Shining. It was mixed and mastered by the award-winning producer Henrik Udd (Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, At The Gates, etc.). The artwork concept and design is the work of Jean-Emmanuel “Valnoir” Simoulin from French design studio Metastazis, known for their work with Ghost, Behemoth, At the Gates, Amorphis, etc. The album can be described as a ‘crushing sounding mix of extreme metal and avant-garde music, with some very special and legendary guests!

Band has collaborated with electronic music producers, symphony orchestra, released acoustic album and has incorporated in their music elements of black, death, industrial metal and world music with modern touch. May 27, 2022 will see Berlin-based sludge and post-metal act, SHOVEL, release their self-titled debut abum via Argonauta Records. Now, the four-piece has premiered a haunting music video clip for “I. The Void” with Decibel Magazine!
Ever since their first gig, SHOVEL created an immediate connection with the vibrant scene of Berlin, Germany, and following their colossal demo in 2019, they managed to establish themselves within the heavy music underground. With their intense riffage, existential screams and the elusiveness of otherworldly sounds and atmospheres; emerging from the mud of sludge, doom and blackened post-metal; SHOVEL guides you through the openness and freedom of psychedelic textures to end up crawling in black metal claustrophobia and despair with an unconventional and distinct sound. After the previously-released, first single “VII-Havoc”, SHOVEL have now released a killer music video for “I. The Void”. “‘I. The Void’ is the very first song we ever wrote, before we even decided that we were a band,” the band explains. “During its recording process, we realized how important and powerful this song still is for us: our first song. It is a song about seeking refuge in darkness, seeking comfort in uncomfortable situations—a song that incorporates the soul of Shovel as a band.
“In order to bring this feeling to the screen, we teamed up with director Alexandros Papathanasopoulos and writer George Zafeiropoulos. With them and their amazing crew, numerous actors, performers, and friends, we were able to capture the meaning behind ‘I. The Void.’ This video expresses this concept of agony and narrates it through the bizarre journey of the protagonist as he descends into the void. Shooting this video during the pandemic, traveling to multiple locations, and gathering so many people was an incredibly difficult task that took months of preparation, incalculable hours of work, and a good amount of luck. Now, [we are] very proud and very grateful; We present you our first video clip as Shovel!”
SHOVEL‘s upcoming album was recorded live on tape at Big Snuff Studio, Berlin, by producer and engineer Richard Behrens (Kadavar, Samsara Blues Experiment, Elder). The album was mastered in The Atomic Garden Studio (California, USA) by Grammy nominated producer Jack Shirley (Amenra, Deafheaven, Oathbreaker). The artwork and layout was designed by étions formidables.
