Ecclectic hard rock band THE LUCID, featuring vocalist Vinnie Dombroski, bassist David Ellefson, guitarist/actor Drew Fortier, and drummer Mike Heller have continued to celebrate the release of their debut self titled album with the official music video for “Hair”, directed by and starring award winning horror icon Hannah Fierman (V/H/S, SiREN, Creepshow).
The Lucid guitarist Drew Fortier states, “It was fascinating to watch Hannah unleash her remarkable creativity for this music video. We are all thrilled and moved by what she was able to accomplish visually with this song. It was an exciting, dark, twisted, collaboration showcasing the band’s irreverence perfectly. We think everyone is going to get such a big kick out of it.”
Director Hannah Fierman states, “The Lucid gave me artistic freedom to do whatever I wanted with the music video but they also had some fantastic ideas of their own once we began brainstorming. We decided on mostly black & white neo noir early on in the process. My background in horror is apparent but works with the energy of the song. It was truly a blast creating this video with such fun and talented artists.”
The Lucid have also announced their live debut via seven intimate shows this May.
They are as follows:
May 20 – Clifton, NJ – Dingbatz May 21 – New Bedford, MA – The Vault May 22 – Waterford, CT – The Jameson Pub May 25 – Indianapolis, IN – Black Circle May 26 – West Dundee, IL – Rochaus May 27 – Westland, MI – The Token Lounge May 28 – Akron, OH – Empire Concert Club
The Lucid are a four piece hard rock band featuring vocalist Vinnie Dombroski (Sponge), guitarist Drew Fortier, Grammy Award winning bassist David Ellefson, and drummer Mike Heller (Malignancy, Raven, Fear Factory). The band formed in early 2020 initiated by demos from Fortier and Heller which caught the attention of frequent Fortier collaborator David Ellefson who joined the fold along with Sponge frontman Vinnie Dombroski to complete the lineup. The Lucid’s debut self-titled album, was released October 15 and features 9 heavy hitting and emotionally charged tracks showcasing this eclectic quartet’s unique sonic approach.
Hannah Fierman is an award winning actor, director, and singer known for her show stealing breakout performance in V/H/S (2012), a hit horror anthology that spawned a 2016 spinoff, SiREN, which was centered around her acclaimed character, Lily, from the original film. Fierman went on to garner multiple awards and accolades for her performance in the critically acclaimed Hold Me, released in 2016. Apart from her iconic film roles, Fierman has also appeared in multiple Television shows including Creepshow, The Vampire Diaries, Dynasty, and Toast of London. In addition to The Lucid’s music video for “Hair”, Fierman has also directed a segment for the upcoming Dead By Midnight Y2Kill as well as her upcoming feature film directorial debut, Dark Circles, which is due out later this year.
Kick ass Rock ‘n’ Roll music with a true love for Garage sounds, all wrapped up in a 70s’ atmosphere – Italy’s very own MAD DOGS are known for their high energetic and powerful sound, swinging grooves and fuzzy guitar virtuosity. Today the band from San Severino Marche unleashed a brand new music video for the track “No Regrets”, which is a tribute to underground music & culture.
Says the band about the song:
“”No Regrets” is a straightforward, punchy, proto-punk song about how important music is to all of us, a never dormant passion that shapes our lives. We decided to make a tribute video to underground music and culture, which have struggled to survive throughout the pandemic lockdowns in the last two years. We dedicate it to those who never stop believing in their dreams. We involved about 70 bands and musician friends from all over the world because the sense of sharing and belonging is the power of rock’n’roll for ever and ever!”
“No Regrets” is taken from the band’s latest album “We Are Ready To Testify” (October 16th 2020), which is out now on Go Down Records. The album is available HERE

Although Audio Reigns’ self-titled debut album release was well received in Australia, MR Records believed this album was a powerhouse and deserved world recognition. As such, the album has been completely redesigned and repackaged as an ‘International Deluxe Edition’ with some brand-new bonus tracks for world release 2022.
The album already boasts some explosive singles like ‘Betrayal’, a hard rock tour de force. Hard-hitting and relentless, it sets a musical and lyrical tone that is abundant throughout the album: raw emotion and undiluted power. Vivisecting an act of treachery, the song casts a stark light on a shadowy deception, delivered by the unmistakable voice of frontman/guitarist Jake Fleming. Driving his vocals like a battering ram; the irreplaceable legion of Alek Dyrynda (lead guitar), Ash Lovett (bass) and Dieter Schoell (drums).
The release of Audio Reigns ‘International Deluxe Edition’ sees a brand-new single emerge into the light. ‘Angel’ is a truly authentic hard rock ballad which begs an answer to a declaration of love. This heartfelt offering once again harnesses the raw emotion of the band and delivers the dynamics and spine-tingling heights that you would expect from such a song. Although the ‘International Deluxe Edition’ will release a radio edit of ‘Angel’, the band are currently working on another album which will contain the full album version.

AUDIO REIGN was formed in 2011 with the vision of creating an inimitable Australian Rock sound, molding driving heavy guitars with melodic vocals and harmonies.
The band’s debut EP ‘Find Your Way’, mastered by the iconic Jens Bogren (Dragonforce, Opeth) was released to coincide with their unforgettable festival debut at the Big Day Out in Australia in 2014 with an audience of over 15,000 die-hard rock fans. Following on from their breakthrough single Find Your Way, Audio Reign released their first full-length album to Australia which offered a proper taste of what they are capable of: a monster storm of huge, driving guitars, soaring melodic vocals and an unstoppable rhythm section. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Jarred Nettle, the album delivered a flurrying combination of writing, performance and production – capturing epic hooks and supercharging them with the ferocity of the band’s live sound. From their heaviest song to their most ethereal, Audio Reign wield an immense level of energy.
This energy has been instrumental in the rise of Audio Reign and securing the band many memorable shows and festivals including supporting some of the world’s biggest acts like Skillet and Pop Evil.
In 2020, Audio Reign were asked to support Kip Winger in Australia which saw the band perform an intimate stripped back acoustic show which was an absolute treat for both Audio Reign and Winger fans alike.
This performance alone captured the attention of MR Records and saw a partnership forge between band and label.
Audio Reign’s first official release with MR Records was the 2021 single ‘Relentless’. A song about overcoming the devastation of the music industry during the pandemic and a statement; the pledge of the band to never give up, to always have a bullet in the chamber, to be Relentless. This release was complimented with a very current and topical music video that was nominated for several international awards.
Seasoned performers since forming in 2011, this line-up is adept and versatile – able to switch from high octane tracks like Betrayal to intense slow-burners like the emotionally-charged Senses. With an incredible live show, a loyal and growing fanbase, and a repertoire of their most electrifying material to date, there is so much potential coursing through Audio Reign that their future could very well be to preside at the top echelon of Australian rock. That journey, long and arduous as it may be, starts right here with one of the best hard rock debut albums of the year.

Last year, HEILUNG shared their first ever music video for the Independent Music Award-winning song “Norupo,” which is taken from 2019’s critically-acclaimed release, ‘Futha!’ The video was shot at the Neolithic standing stones at Les Menhirs de Monteneuf in France. You can watch the stunning video at THIS LOCATION.
“Norupo” is composed around the ancient runic poem with the name ”The Norwegian Rune Poem”. The poem was preserved in a 17th-century copy of a now lost 13th-century manuscript and gives a complete description of all sixteen runes of the younger Futhark.
During 2020’s Game Awards, HEILUNG announced that they will be working with U.K.-based gaming company Ninja Theory on the soundtrack for their upcoming game, ‘Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.’ The announcement trailer for the new game features HEILUNG‘s song ‘In Maidjan,’ which is taken from their debut album, ‘Ofnir.’ Watch the trailer HERE.
In addition, they secured another video game collaboration with MY.GAMES and Booming Tech for the new season of the ‘Conqueror’s Blade’ video game, ‘VII: “Wolves of Ragnarok.” The trailer for the game, featuring the track “Galgaldr,” can be found HERE.
With lyrics recorded in Old Norse and inspired by Völuspá – a prophecy of Ragnarok from the Poetic Edda – HEILUNG’s atmospheric sound will immerse players in a dark new era for ‘Conqueror’s Blade.’ HEILUNG will also see their name being eternalized in one of the new combat map locations, which is now officially called ‘Heilung Fjord,’ and serves as a place for healing. More info on the game can be found HERE.
The band’s music was featured in a trailer for the final season of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ series. It can be viewed HERE.
