OCEANHOARSE from Helsinki, Finland, is one of those exciting acts that never stands still. Having recently released their debut studio album “Dead Reckoning” via Noble Demon, the band continues to stay busy, releasing the track “Fading Neons” today.
Oceanhoarse comments:
“Before the new album, we’ve wanted to release this gem from the archives that we recorded as a special bonus track during the ‘Dead Reckoning’ sessions. ‘Fading Neons’ was one of the first songs we wrote when we started the band – and it’s also proven to be one of the most popular ones, thanks to the Wreckfest soundtrack! We have played it on our shows frequently and it’s always been a blast – so we figured we should record the new, heavier live arrangement that we have developed over the last few years and make this new version rock even harder than the old one!“
Known for their explosive blend of crushing riffs, vocal harmonies and high voltage arrangements, with “Fading Neons” Oceanhoarse deliver another high-octane, groovy metal anthem. So make sure to listen to the track through your favorite streaming platform or watch the lyric video here:

Drift Into Black comments:
“This song is the introduction to our character. On a mission to deceive the human race by depleting Earth of all it’s natural resources. It is a rather energetic track and we felt it was perfect for track 2. It basically explodes as soon as the album intro builds up to it.“
Drift Into Black‘s upcoming concept album “Earthtorn” flows continuously, telling the story of the extinction of humankind seen through the eyes of an extraterrestrial visitor disguised as a human sent to mother earth to analyze our behavior and eventually deplete us of all our natural resources. He learns about our past and our experiences of war sickness. Love, loss, and death, he falls in love with a woman and is torn between his selfishness for her. He begins to question his willingness to carry out his mission. He gets to watch as his love slowly falls victim to the disease and starts to wither away. Day by day, she grows sicker and eventually passes away from cancer. His experience of love, sickness, loss, and death is for real now. He realizes that there is nothing good left on Earth throughout all the darkness. He informs his planet that there is nothing to be retained here on Earth and that he will be returning home, leaving the human race to its slow decay.

Polish rock band AFTERLOAD unveiled video to the “Find My Place” song from debut album “Lifeline” (2019), which was released on CD and vinyl. A guest appearance in the video is Adam Drath (BAJM), who also played an amazing solo. The videoclip closes the stage related to the promotion of “Lifeline” – the band’s first full album.
Commentary about the video: “The editing and post-production of the music video is made in the abstract style of double exposure, hence the clip has quite an artistic character. The video in a metaphorical way reflects the content of the song, which tells about each of us looking for our own way in life, about the fact that we make mistakes but at the same time we can make good decisions, about the fact that with each step, whether it is right or wrong, unsuccessful, the consequences follow, and each of us tries to find our place in all of this – whatever it will be for us“.
