After signing to Drakkar Entertainment and announcing the release date of their new studio album Dark Matters (Part I), Bulgarians ODD CREW are now sharing the latest taste of the record. The band drops the new track “Farewell” alongside a black and white emotionally shattering video that will have viewers questioning just what to feel.
“Farewell” is the third single taken of Dark Matters (Part I), which was recorded in ODD CREW’s own “ButcherHouse” Studio in Sofia and produced and mixed by the band themselves.
Guitarist Vasil Parvanovski comments: “We wanted to make a massive and interesting album that includes both lighter catchy vocal parts and emotionally heavier instrumental parts as well. An album that tells many stories. “Farewell” is a songthat can make you think about how fast time passes and that we don’t have enough time to enjoy everything around us. Тhe video shows how fast we go through life until we reach the very last station of it when it’s time to say “goodbye”.
Last week the band launched an official fanclub called the S.P.R.F. Crew. It’s an exclusive section on their website www.oddcrew.net – in which a members-only content will be uploaded every week.
ODD CREW new album, Dark Matters (Part I), will be out on May 27, PREORDER HERE!
Boston heavy rockers MAMMOTHOR drop a brand new single “M.O.A.B.” fresh off their latest full-length album, The Silence of Ecstasy… The Agony of Dreams, available now in CD format through retailer Bull Moose and later, on all major streaming platforms.
Mammothor has not let the pandemic stop their musical output. With a busy show schedule taking shape for 2022, including their first shows of the year with Drowning Pool, Ill Nino and Hed(PE) in March, the band spent most of 2020/2021 producing new material. Mammothor entered The Halo Studio in Windham, ME to record with Kevin Billingslea (Lamb of God) and Chillhouse Studios in Charlestown, MA with Will Holland (Fall Out Boy) for tracking and tapped Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall), at Planet Z in Hadley, MA to mix and master.
‘M.O.A.B.” is the opening track of the new album. Written by Josh Johnson (guitar) and Travis Lowell (vocals), the single will be launched worldwide on March 4th, on all major streaming platforms. In an ironic twist, this song reflects on the state of war and nuclear annihilation, what then seemed hypothetical, now draws closer to reality. “M.O.A.B.” is a military term for “Mother Of All Bombs,” an army ordinance with incredible destructive power.
Travis comments, “This tune is reminiscent of the old school speed metal, the classic stuff, and draws inspiration from J. Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb, where we feature his voice on several segments of the song.”

Just recently, Italian Radio J.App interviewed Dublin based alt rockers RITUAL EFFECT on Emergy Broadcasting show, talking about band’s background, Irish music scene, songwriting process, grunge and rock nowadays and last but not least, about the earlier efforts + new EP ‘Too Late to Turn Back‘.
The 1-hour live interview is now available for streaming, below.
On March 4th, RITUAL EFFECT unleashed their brand new lyric video for ‘Brand New’, taken from Upcoming EP ‘Too Late to Turn Back’!
The band comments: “Brand New is unleashed today! The song is about being sure you are following the right path but when you reach your destination, nothing is as expected. We couldn’t wait to get this new tune out to the world, and it won’t be long until the rest of the EP is released. Brace yourselves 🙂”

The lyric video was created by Mohsen Fayazi @stargazer.multimedia.
Earlier the band revealed on ‘Too Late to Turn Back’ EP: “This is the “difficult second album” but not in the traditional sense. The difficulty we faced with this one was the crazy amount of lockdowns and lack of in-person contact we had thoughout the whole process.
It’s a pretty different set of tunes to the first album. “Fossils” had lots of fast paced 4 minute rock songs. These compositions are longer and heavier and go in more directions. And unlike the last album, Paul was with us from the very start of the writing process here, and it shows!
The biggest thing we’ve learned through this recording is that nothing can ever be taken for granted. It’s been a year and a half since the last time we got on stage together and this whole experience has just made us hungrier and more determined than ever. We believe that there’s an energy to these tracks that reflects that, and we chose the title “Too Late To Turn Back” because it represents where we stand right now as a band – all in, focused, and ready to seize our moment.
We are very excited to finally have this mini-album ready for the world. Hope you enjoy it!”

Dublin based RITUAL EFFECT fuse aspects of grunge and metal together with catchy riffs, fast paced songs, driving choruses and high energy shows. Since the band’s inception in late 2017, they have written a massive amount of songs, clocked up a hefty amount of gigs, and they have been invited back everywhere that they have played, receiving enthusiastic feedback from far and wide. Each band member has previously written and recorded with different ensembles around the country but none could resist the call to join this new family. Each of the members has their own style and very different qualities which have been intricately wound into Ritual Effect. They are professional to work with, fun to hang out with, and awesome to witness. 2019 saw the band enter the studio for their first serious project, their debut album “Fossils”. This 15 track album is a heavy, melodic nod to their past and sets the pace for a high speed, full on sonic assault to the future. With their song bank close to full storage, a follow up mini album ‘Too Late to Turn Back’ will hit the shelves, song by song, in early 2022. There is no limit to what this band is capable of in the rehearsal room, on stage or on tape. Come join the Ritual and embrace the Effect.
Florida death metal juggernauts INHUMAN CONDITION have revealed plans to release their eagerly awaited sophomore album, “Fearsick,” on July 15th via Listenable Insanity Records. The veteran all-star trio, which features vocalist/drummer Jeramie Kling (VENOM INC, EX-DEO, THE ABSENCE), guitarist Taylor Nordberg (DEICIDE, THE ABSENCE) and bassist Terry Butler (OBITUARY, DEATH, MASSACRE, SIX FEET UNDER), makes their return following their critically praised 2021 debut, “Rat°God,” and multiple supporting tours.
Kling comments on the impending music:
“”With the power of 10 diesel trucks, this machine is on a warpath! Get ready for the next death metal assault.”
Also unveiled today is the album’s mind-blowing, grotesque artwork created by artist Dan “Babe Ruth” Goldsworthy (CORPSEGRINDER, ACCEPT, CRADLE OF FILTH).
Goldsworthy comments on the cover art:
“The basic concept for the “Fearsick” cover was brought to me by Jeramie, and evolved as we worked on it. It picks up from where the last album left off, and shows the main character’s further decay and descent to pure evil. He’s further along in his process of constructing his domain of bodies with a glimpse of the Rat°God setting through the archway. Once again, the aim was to create a cover that evokes the spirit of the classic death metal albums of the late 80s and early 90s.”
New music and additional details about the record are forthcoming. Stay tuned.
