Finnish melodic metal band DEAD END FINLAND released a new single and music video Northern Winds. The track is taken from the upcoming fifth studio album which is released later this year by Inverse Records.
Guitarist & Bass player Santtu Rosén comment: “One of the strengths of Dead End Finland has always been the ability to turn a difficult situation into a resource. So when the corona storm was raging, we decided to throw ourselves into the wind and draw strength from it.
During the darkening evenings of autumn, we wrote more material and soon we were in a situation where making a full length album was a better option than the originally planned EP.
“Northern Winds” is the opening track of the upcoming album and it tells the story of a situation where an individual has to face an impending threat and follow his instincts in order to survive.”
Irish four-piece GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT have issued the following about their upcoming tour:
The Beginning of the End Tour
“We hope this finds you well. Unfortunately, we have some more changes to the touring schedule for 2022 and beyond.
Over the last few years, as most of you already know, we have been unable to tour due to the pandemic and the restrictions they have brought. Some of the band have become dependent on other forms of income outside of music and can longer commit to the busy touring schedules of the past. To this end we have had to cancel and reschedule 22 shows. Sheffield, Manchester and Gothenburg have been cancelled and refunded; all the other shows will take place over the next 18 months.”

Just recently, FALLEN SANCTUARY, the new melodic power metal band led by Georg Neuhauser (Serenity) and Temperance guitarist Marco Pastorino, announced their worldwide signing with German powerhouse label AFM Records; today they are premiering a first song alongside a music video taken of their upcoming debut album! Terranova will be released on June 24, 2022.
Neuhauser and Pastorino became friends in 2018 during a joint tour and soon realised that they pretty much share musical idols and tastes. The Serenity vocalist reveals: “Marco and I often got talking at night on the tour bus to the next show with Serenity and Temperance. It was amazing that we have so many favourite bands in common. And since we also get along really well on a personal level and live only a four-hour drive apart, we came up with the idea of releasing an album together some day.” FALLEN SANCTUARY also features permanent drummer Alfonso Mocerino and bassist Gabriele Gozzi, who will complement the band live on stage.
To shorten your wait for an extensive touring schedule and the band’s upcoming record release, FALLEN SANCTUARY have just unleashed a first single and epic video clip for the melodic metal anthem “Broken Dreams”! Watch the video here:
Says Neuhauser about the first FALLEN SANCTUARY single: “We are more than exited to show you our very first video with Fallen Sanctuary. “Broken Dreams” combines all our passion for epic choirs and catchy melodies. In short: melodic power metal how it should be! 🙂 “
