Fans of music icons Sixx:A.M. can purchase the band’s celebratory HITS album on vinyl and enjoy a new lyric video for their track “We Will Not Go Quietly,” which appears on their latest album released via Better Noise Music. Additionally, the band announced that a cassette version would be available for purchase this March. Originally released in October, the band put together HITS as a retrospective celebration of their biggest hits and fan-favorite songs, including five unheard tracks and mixes, marking the band’s first official album with new material since 2016. Featured on their last album, Prayers for the Blessed, “We Will Not Go Quietly” was directly inspired by the group’s experience on tour and a purposeful step in a more bombastic direction. Watch the new lyric video HERE. The full track listing for the Sixx:A.M.HITS album, which has been streamed 14.5 MILLION times to date, is below. The album is now available across platforms HERE.
The album is a companion piece to Mötley Crüe and Sixx:A.M. founder Nikki Sixx’s new memoir THE FIRST 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx, and it contains a track inspired by the book of the same name.Immediately following its release last fall, Sixx officially became a four-time New York Times best-selling author, entering the coveted list at #8 on the Hardcover chart and #11 on the Combined Print And Ebook List. The First 21 continues Sixx’s tradition of setting the soundtrack to his own life, combining his work as a writer and a musician to offer multi-layered pieces of art. Expanding this artistic signature move by Sixx, The First 21 now has its own soundtrack with the HITS album.
Celebrating their catalogue on Spotify, the band created the “Sixx:A.M. 101 Playlist.” The playlist offers new and old fans a comprehensive collection of the band’s acclaimed catalogue. Stream it HERE.
Additionally, the band also personally curated two exclusive new merchandise collections for fans available HERE and HERE.
2019 moved right along with tremendous speed and many successes. Having released their single, “Sink,” then closing out the year promoting “Close Encounters” – 2020 would slow the band to a stop. With lock downs, the inability to travel, and now without a singer, the frustration was beginning to grow. After putting together a few new song ideas, guitarist Ashten Banks and the band’s manager, Will Dale, began searching hard to find the perfect… and PERMANENT singer.
Things seemingly moved slowly. Each singer that appeared to be the “right fit” for the project quickly turned into the “wrong option.” Then came a phone call, followed by a Zoom meeting, which would lead to a song, that turned into a trip to the studio with Matt Good (Asking Alexandria), to solidify the lineup once again with the first of many new songs to come: “Faded.”
Ladies and gentleman, the new voice of Remember The Monsters, Andrew DeNeef! Former singer of Warped Tour mainstay, Close To Home, most recently fronting the band Actual Villains alongside songwriter/producer Hiram Hernandez.
SEETHING AKIRA are back, putting their own metal spin on a cover of one of the Beastie Boys most famous tracks, “Intergalactic”
Of the new single Seething Akira says, “In homage to the Beastie Boys, we, Seething Akira, bring our own twist and flavour to the incredible iconic hip hop track “Intergalactic.” Mixing elements of metal, electronics, and rap we wanted to bring a truly unique version of this inspirational track that is dear to our hearts.“
“Intergalactic” is out now from independent multi-genre label FiXT.
Explosive. Bombastic. Defiant. Intense. Seething Akira have developed a gloriously turbulent sound that is uniquely their own. Founded by vocalists Charlie Bowes and Kit Conrad, Seething Akira are a 6-piece electronic nu-core band hailing from the seafront city of Portsmouth, UK that have been tearing venues apart across Europe with their powerful fusion of genres since 2012. The band’s first full-length album, Sleepy Skeletor, dropped in 2018 and made it clear that Seething Akira would be a force to be reckoned with in the years to come. In late 2020, the band launched a series of new singles leading up to their second album, the highly anticipated Dysfunctional Wonderland. With the strength of the band’s music and their popularity with fans rocketing skyward, they connected with electronic rock label FiXT and forged a partnership for their future releases. Seething Akira has been featured on the Rock Hard Spotify editorial list, while their single “Firepower” landed on Kerrang Radio and Scuzz. “I Am The Devil” and “The Islander” were both featured on BBC Introducing, and “The Islander” premiered on Soundsphere Magazine. At home and on the road, Seething Akira have also put their stamp on staple festivals such as Bloodstock, Victorious, Camden Rocks, and many more while touring with bands like The Qemists and The Algorithm. The band dropped the latest album Dysfunctional Wonderland in late 2021 and plan to begin releasing new singles in mid 2022.

“Último Vector” is the first extract off RUINAS upcoming EP “Resurrekzión“, due to be released on May 13, 2022 via Spikerot Records. Exactly two years after the debut “Ikonoklasta”, released in the middle of the first wave of the pandemic, the band led by Rober Bustabad of the Spanish death-grind legends MACHETAZO returns with a bleak and brutal work, unusual at times, where the themes of death, an apocalyptic vision of Christianity and a sense of impending doom, chase each other relentlessly.
“Life is Death. Infinite? Almost eternal” says Rober. “Everything dies and rots, slowly and inherently. And inexorably it begins again. Blessed are those who are resurrected, for they can start over… even without chosing it.“
“Último Vector” is the last cry of a world ready to capitulate and for which there is no cure, with the image of death riding victorious towards the bitter end, where all the children of God rot the same way as rats and pigs, reminding us all lives are equal in the eyes of death.
“Resurrekzión” was recorded and mixed once again by Brais Landeira at The Ocean Studios (Ferrol, Spain) and mastered by Javi Ustara at Mpire Studio (Madrid, Spain).
NWOBHM- powered hard rock outfit THE RIVEN announce two tours, to take place during the spring of 2022. In March, the Swedes will support Dead Lord on 15 European dates and in April, The Riven will go on a headline tour in Spain. All dates can be found below.
Besides the rocketing return to the live scene, the band is also launching the single ”On Time”. An explosion of electrifying heavy metal- riffing and powerful vocals, the single is the first taste of The Riven’s upcoming sophomore album ”Peace and Conflict”, to be released on The Sign Records in 2022.
The band comments on “On Time”:
“On Time” is a straight-up chugger! It lures you in and takes you down. We wrote the song before we went into the studio, and we knew right away that this is a song that you’d wanna listen to in your car, driving down a long, endless road in the middle of the night. The lyrics are about that very theme, the sense of traveling through life whilst being under the tyranny of time.
