In the world where humanity is one step away from “living in The Matrix”, some choose to distance themselves from the inevitable and some decide to embrace it. The latter fits the aspirations of THE HATE CLUB‘s desire to explore the possibilities that a virtual domain can offer to metalheads across the globe.
To lay down the foundation The Hate Club’s choice to use a music video as the presentation of what THC’s METALverse might look like seems to be the most obvious move. There are several technologies capable of bringing the world of VR into every metalheads home, and one of them is Unreal Engine 5. A gaming engine that needs no introduction, its portfolio includes such monsters of the gaming industry as Fortnite, Street Fighter 5, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, Borderlands 3 and many more.
The music video for THC’s heavy hitter “Sleepwalker” is an amalgamation of his chaotic nature and aggressive sound all wrapped with next gen stunning visuals.
The Hate Club’s ambitious vision is at the core of everything that the artist does to bring a breath of fresh air into the metal scene.
The Hate Club is an American metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2017. The band was created by lead singer, guitarist and producer Alexander Poe.

“Cerberus”, a single from the Death of the Protagonist EP charted on the iTunes Heavy Metal charts in Germany in18th place. Also, “My Name Is Legion” from the same EP, reached 25th position on iTunes Heavy Metal charts in France.
The Hate Club’s music video for “My Name Is Legion” topped Newgrounds Animation portal for 3 weeks with 4.5/5 average rating further establishing THC’s foothold as a new force in metal.
In early 2021 The Hate Club made his first appearance in a print magazine dedicated to underground music in LA – Highwire Daze.
Alex’s most recent release, Prologue EP, came out October 6, 2021.

The Hate Club is a new driving force in contemporary metal.
One of the world’s best Queen tribute bands, KILLER QUEEN, will be rocking the U.S. once more from March-April 2022. Led by singer Patrick Myers – faithfully assuming the role of the legendary Freddie Mercury – Killer Queen will be kicking off their latest set of dates on March 4th in New York City (at the Palladium Times Square), before wrapping things up on April 9th in Warren, Michigan (at the Andiamo Celebrity Show Room).
For a sample of the magic that Killer Queen brings to the stage, view this clip:
“It’s been an amazing journey,” says Myers. “That first show back in June 1993 changed my life. We thought our band would last maybe a summer at the most but it’s a very addictive thing performing these songs! The concerts grew and grew and we’ve ended up playing and selling out the same arenas that Queen played at their peak. It’s been quite a surreal ride. Becoming regular performers – Red Rocks Arena in America is another highlight . The Beatles, U2, Springsteen, Dylan all played on that stage. It’s really got its own kind of magic going on there.”
And the reviews that Killer Queen has received have been simply outstanding:
“Concerts as near to the real thing as you’re likely to get. A real life Bohemian Rhapsody. Freddie lives! A pop legend is back” -The People
“Killer Queen is a living jukebox, an absolutely fantastic show. This an evening where you feel the hair stand on the back of your neck. I’ve never seen the arena explode with such an electric charge. The sound is perfect…A concert to remember.” -The VLT, Sundsvall Sweden.
“This guy is not to be missed.” -Editor, BrianMay.com
“No detail is overlooked. Killer Queen are kings of the musical impersonators, the highest of tributes.” -Duncan Kennedy, BBC 1
And soon, Killer Queen will be bringing the excitement of a Queen concert Stateside, to both new and longtime fans!

Italian doomsters DI’AUL are finally back with their fifth studio album. “Abracamacabra” will be released via MooDDoom Records on March 18th 2022.
“Seven stories, seven characters, one mother: the Universe. ‘Abracamacabra’ is the sublimation of failure and loss. In a world where all the kings are jesters, the mind seeks the wrong side of reason and everything we build then collapse”, explains the band.
“Abracamacabra” was recorded and mixed by Marco Barusso (Lacuna Coil, Coldplay, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Heavy Metal Kids, and more) at Angelo Studio in Garlasco (Italy), while Marco D’Agostino took care of the mastering at 96Khz Studio in Milan. The cover artwork was created by Francesca Vecchio of fv_illustration.
The track listing for “Abracamacabra” reads as follows: 1. Thou Crawl 2. This Quiet 3. Abracamacabra 4. De Profundis 5. The Losers’ River 6. La Notte di Valpurga 7. Time Of No Return
The first single “Thou Crawl” will be unleashed in February. Watch the trailer below.
Founded in 2010, Milan (Italy) based doom band DI’AUL plays heavy, catchy music underlaid with subtle complexities: a mix of ’70s rock songwriting and ’90s metal groove. DI’AUL released the EP “GV 12.31” in 2010, followed by their second album “And Then Came The Monsters” (2013), “Garden of Exile” (2015, This Is Core Records), and “Nobody’s Heaven” (2018, Argonauta Records). The band played several gigs in Italy and across Europe, supporting Crowbar and Et Moriemur among others. At the end of 2019, along with the new drummer Andrea “Rex” Ornigotti” (Gunjack and Conviction), the band recorded two new songs “The House of the Edge of the World” and “Three Ladies” released as a LP split with Mos Generator (2020, Argonauta Records).
High energy rock ‘n’ roll outfit MÄRVEL releases the single and music video “Sound of Life Slipping Away” on the 28th of January. The masked power trio from Sweden blends classic heavy metal influenced riffs with melodic vocals on the new track, which is mixed by Robert Pehrsson. “Sound of Life Slipping Away” is the fourth single leading up to Märvel‘s ninth album “Graces Came With Malice“, set for release in April via The Sign Records as part of the band’s 20-year anniversary.
The band comments: “Sound of Life Slipping Away comes out of a place of frustration and anger. The lyrics are sort of dreamlike and paints a rather confusing story that might not make much sense to some. But it’s about trying to communicate a feeling rather than telling a straight story. Together with the energetic up-beat music it makes an interesting combination, like a french hotdog crusted with homemade lingonberry jam.”
