Wormholedeath is proud to announce the signing of Swedish melodic death metal icons IMPERIAL DOMAIN to its global roster. The band’s highly anticipated new full-length album, Portentum, will see the light of day on 14 November 2025, ushering in a bold new era for this seasoned force from Uppsala.
To mark this milestone, Imperial Domain has unleashed their crushing new single “History Repeating”, accompanied by a striking official music video that captures the band’s trademark mix of aggression, atmosphere, and melodic depth.
“We are proud to announce that we have signed with Wormholedeath! This marks an exciting new chapter for the band, and we are thrilled to join forces with a label that shares our passion and vision for our music,” the band states. “Our upcoming album Portentum explores dark historical and contemporary themes—from ancient omens to modern dystopias. It’s a record born from reflection, unrest, and unrelenting creative fire. We can’t wait to share this body of work with you all and begin this new era together with Wormholedeath.”
With Portentum, Imperial Domain delve deep into humanity’s cyclical nature. From the ominous tension of the title track to the brutal realism of “History Repeating” and the bleak futurism of “New World Order,” the band carves a sonic path through the ruins of civilization—past, present, and speculative.
Tracklist: 01 History Repeating 02 The Die Is Cast 03 The Legacy 04 New World Order 05 Fragment Of A Dream 06 Portentum 07 Retribution 08 Into Oblivion
Founded in the mid-90s, Imperial Domain quickly made waves in the Swedish death metal underground with their debut demo The Final Chapter (1995), followed by In the Ashes of the Fallen (1996)—a release that earned them national acclaim. Their full-length debut In the Ashes of the Fallen (1998) on Pulverised Records marked the band as a rising force, followed by the critically acclaimed The Ordeal (2003) via Konqueror Records.
After a brief hiatus and the tragic loss of vocalist Tobias Heideman in 2014, the band reemerged stronger than ever with The Deluge (2016), reaffirming their place in the melodic death metal pantheon. Now, Imperial Domain return with Portentum—an album that’s as uncompromising as it is thought-provoking.

LÜT started in 2010 as four teenage punks from Kroken: Ørjan, Mads, Sveinung and Marius – playing covers as The Wolves. They quickly moved on to writing original songs, released an EP and somehow ended up on national TV before they were old enough to drink.
Years of side projects, lineup changes and chaotic ambition followed. In 2015, a messy hotel night led to the start of LÜT – louder, catchier, and more focused. Two albums and dozens of major shows later, the band found themselves drifting from the energy that made it all fun in the first place.
In 2022, they scrapped almost everything, took a breather, and started fresh. No pressure, no formulas – just music that felt like them. Written across Tromsø – in bedrooms, rehearsal spaces and on the road, every track found its own voice. Whoever wanted to sing, did.
Just before wrapping up, German punk icon Bela B (Die Ärzte) joined them in Tromsø for a feature that felt both surreal and symbolic – a final piece that completed the circle.
So yes, LÜT is their third album. But it’s the debut for the four original friends who started it all back in 2010. The band just calls it what it is: LÜT. As they put it in “Smil & Vink”: Æ flykicke Jackie Chan, spelle i rockeband.

The year is 2014, and the Tromsø-based band that eventually gets the name LÜT sees its inception in hermetically sealed boys’ rooms where hormones and teenage anxiety flowed freely. The result is sharp and distinctive rock, capturing fans from both the underground and the mainstream.
Fast forward to 2024, and LÜT has played at Summer Breeze (DE), Motocultor (FR), Spot Festival (DK), by:Larm, Slottsfjell, Bukta, Malakoff, Trondheim Calling, Vinje Rock, and Tons Of Rock. LÜT has been nominated for Best Newcomer at the Norwegian Grammys (2017) and P3 Gull (2017) awards. They received praise from Lars Ulrich (Metallica) on his podcast “It’s Electric.”
Their album “Mersmak” from 2021 received a 5/6 rating in Rolling Stone Magazine, leading them to support Germany’s big heroes DIE ÄRZTE on a stadium tour in front of 80,000 people in 2022, and then for Skambankt on their farewell tour in Norway in 2022.
Hello 2025, and a new decade of modern Northern noise.
THE FELL is a modern rock powerhouse fronted by dynamic vocalist Toby Rand, featuring legendary bassist Billy Sheehan, acclaimed producer/guitarist Mike Krompass and explosive drummer Nick Chiarore. The band’s first single, “Killswitch,” has racked up over 65k views since it’s August release while garnering accolades along the way.
“Face Out” is the powerful new single that captures the thrill of breaking free but understanding the gravity of holding on. The lyrics explore the primal tension between escape into the unknown, whilst keeping the anchor of connection and love. “Face Out” is a rock n’ roll dreamscape showcasing Rand’s raw/emotional vocals, with Mike (K.) Krompass’ signature guitar prowess mixed Sheehan’s undeniable Bass supremacy. It’s a bold reminder that sometimes, we have to let go to truly come alive.
Fusing soaring vocals, elite musicianship, and massive, modern rock production, THE FELL’s sound is both cinematic and immediate, anchored in timeless rock energy but elevated by contemporary edge and sonic depth. Drawing immediate comparisons to the guitar-driven, hard rock crunch of Mammoth, the alt-rock edge of Alter Bridge and melodic drive of Velvet Revolver, THE FELL carves out their own niche delivering hard-hitting, emotionally charged anthems that connect with fans across generations.
This is not typical of any our past projects. It’s a new fresh direction, but using our influences to create a more modern sound, with heavy guitars, powerful riffs, crushing grooves and huge vocals. – THE FELL
What the band says about “Face Out”:
“’Face Out’ is really about realizing that sometimes the hardest thing to do is let go — but it’s also the only way forward. It’s not the letting go that holds you back, it’s when you can’t. Once you release the weight of the past, you can actually see what’s ahead of you.” – Mike K. (The Fell)
‘Face Out’ is a bold reminder that “Sometimes we have to let go to truly come alive” – Toby Rand (The Fell)

“Working with our American brothers in NOTHING MORE on our new single ‘Crossing The Rubicon’ has been an absolute pleasure,” says frontman Joakim Brodén. “When we shared the song with the guys, they really liked it and were genuinely excited about a collaboration, which got us really pumped. There’s something powerful about bringing two worlds together in music.”
“I’m really glad we got the chance to team up with our new labelmates NOTHING MORE for this one,” continues bassist Pär Sundström. “Collaborating with them added a cool touch. This one’s a special treat for both their fans and ours!”
NOTHING MORE frontman Jonny Hawkins says, “This song awakens that old, war spirit in me and makes me want to ride a horse straight into the gates of hell. I’m proud to be a part of it with such an incredible band like Sabaton.”
“We are very honored and excited to release this collaboration with our newfound Swedish labelmates Sabaton,” adds NOTHING MORE guitarist Mark Vollelunga. “It was fun to do something a little different than we were used to, and we’re stoked they wanted us to put our special NOTHING MORE sauce on their Scandinavian Metal.”
Throughout the aptly titled LEGENDS, SABATON—Joakim Brodén (vocals), Pär Sundström (bass), Chris Rörland (guitar), Thobbe Englund (guitar), Hannes Van Dahl (drums)—delve into some of history’s greatest and most loved characters such as Jeanne D’arc (also known as Joan of Arc), Napoleon Bonaparte, Julius Caesar, and the legendary swordmaster Miyamoto Musashi.
For “Crossing The Rubicon,” their focus is on Julius Caesar, who rose to prominence in the Roman Republic as consul. He enacted reforms to reduce corruption and ease taxation while leading his legions to victories in Gaul, defeating tribes like the Arverni, Helvetii and Belgae, and expanding Roman territory to the Rhine and Danube rivers. As his influence grew, political rivals became increasingly hostile. In response, he famously crossed the Rubicon, igniting a civil war. After defeating his enemies in Italy, Greece, and Egypt, he returned to Rome with dictatorial powers, implementing the Julian calendar and modernizing public works. However, on the Ides of March in 44 B.C., he was assassinated by Senate conspirators, ending his rule but leaving a significant legacy as a master strategist and ambitious leader who reshaped Rome’s future.
“Everyone knows the phrase ‘Veni, vidi, vici,’” says bassist Pär Sundström. “It’s iconic, just like Caesar himself. He was a force of nature who reshaped an entire empire. And his story…well it’s pure Sabaton material. When we did some internal trials of the new songs and got our closest friends and colleagues to listen to it, we quickly noticed that this was one of the—if not the—top tracks from our new album. Let’s see if the fans agree.”
“Julius Caesar is an incredibly intriguing figure,” continues singer Joakim Brodén, “and let’s be real, he’s known all around the world for a reason! His story is legendary. He was a brilliant general, a bold leader, and a trailblazer of ancient history. His story has war, ambition, betrayal…everything that fits right into the world of Sabaton. He didn’t just fight battles; he changed the course of history. That mix of strategy, drama, and raw power made him a go-to choice for LEGENDS.”
LEGENDS will be available across various physical formats and retailer exclusives including CD, 2 CD digibook, 2 CD earbook (both including the exclusive Storyteller Edition), 11 unique vinyl editions (including a special vinyl color and exclusive artwork each), additional exclusive vinyl colors, and a limited box set (including another exclusive vinyl color, the 2 CD earbook, and a colored cassette as an exclusive format). Pre-orders are available HERE.
Among 11 unique vinyl editions, each one portraying one legendary figure, LEGENDS will be available as the “Julius Caesar Edition.”
LEGENDS is a rock odyssey that transcends time and borders, with melodic guitar riffs, goosebump-inducing choirs, and epic choruses. It marks a bold evolution in storytelling, plunging headfirst into the heart of history’s most formidable and enigmatic figures. These are not just rock songs, they are battle hymns carved from the blood and legacy of warriors, kings, strategists, and revolutionaries.
It marks the very first time that every band member has come together to contribute to the songwriting process. This is SABATON as you’ve never heard them before—relentless and unbound. LEGENDS is a global journey through the annals of warfare, leadership and unbreakable will.
SABATON have always had a signature focus on writing songs about historical battles, wars, and acts of heroism that have solidified their impact with their loyal and longtime fans. They’ve collaborated closely with its network of specialists, developed over the years since the launch of the Sabaton History Channel on YouTube, to make sure this new album is once again as close to reality as possible.
They continue to work with graphic artist Peter Sallai to create the striking album artwork, and producer Jonas Kjellgren is once again behind the boards from his Swedish Black Lounge Studios to create the classic SABATON sound the band is now known for.
Four songs have already been released from LEGENDS: “The Duelist” and “Lightning at the Gates” (July 25), “Hordes of Khan” (June 6) and “Templars” (April 25):

Since their 2005 debut album, they’ve earned Gold, Platinum, and multi-Platinum certifications in territories around the world with their 10 studio albums. Eight of their albums scored Top 10 international chart status, and six claimed the Top 5. It’s been almost a year since 6x Platinum and 8x Gold-certified, record-breaking Finnish rock outfit THE RASMUS (@therasmusofficial) released the first single (“Rest In Pieces” on October 24, 2024) from their highly anticipated 11th studio album, WEIRDO, which finally arrives today (September 12) via Better Noise Music (their first for the label) and Playground Music. The album, as well as limited-edition merchandise bundles, are available now HERE.
Known for their musically dark atmospheres, the band subversively merges catchy modern pop stylings with stadium-sized guitar crunch throughout the songs on WEIRDO.
“I find it comforting that our 11th album, WEIRDO, has pretty much the same message as on our first album released in 1996,” explains frontman Lauri Ylönen. “It is to defend and praise the ones who are different from the masses and proudly being themselves as they are. It has been our philosophy from the very beginning.”
Ylönen further explains the power behind being a “weirdo.” “In this society I’ve always felt that I’ve had to prove myself for being the way I am or doing the things I do. I’ve always felt like an outsider not fitting the norm. I’ve been called a weirdo, misfit and a freak. That used to make me angry—but not anymore. It’s become my source of strength and confidence. I’ve realized the power of it. All the people I find exciting and inspiring are somehow strange. We, the Weirdos, unite and feed off people’s judging attitudes. The fact is they’re just afraid of us. Afraid of our capability to create new and change the future. Are you a Weirdo? Join us…”
To celebrate the album release, THE RASMUS is excited to share the title track with their legions of fans, especially since they teamed up with The Funeral Portrait singer Lee Jennings for song and accompanying video which can be seen now on the band’s official YouTube page HERE.
“‘Weirdo’ was the first song we wrote and it shaped the concept for the entire album,” says Ylönen. “It celebrates being different and individual. Since the first song I ever wrote in 1994 called ‘Myself,’ I’ve felt like an outcast and someone who doesn’t quite fit in.”
“Being a part of ‘Weirdo’ with The Rasmus has been incredible,” continues The Funeral Portrait singer Lee Jennings. “It’s an anthem for the outcasts, and I’m beyond proud of how it turned out. Working with such an iconic band has been awesome, and now we’re hitting the road together across Europe. Get ready! The Funeral Portrait and The Rasmus are coming to represent all of the Weirdos across Europe this November.”
The “‘Weirdo” single release is the follow up to “Love Is A Bitch” (released July 11 and described by lead singer Lauri Ylönen as a “wildcard” track for the band), which can be streamed and downloaded HERE, while the video can be seen on the band’s official YouTube page HERE (which has over 100k views).
The fourth single, “Break These Chains,” was released May 16 along with the “Break These Chains” video, which has since garnered over 812k views, while “Creatures of Chaos” arrived March 28, with the video racking up over 875k views. The album’s first single, “Rest In Pieces,” was rolled out on October 25, 2024, paired with a lyric video which now has amassed over 668k views.
Most of the songs on WEIRDO were written by Lauri Ylönen, Desmond Child (who contributed to the band’s BLACK ROSES and RISE albums and has worked with Bon Jovi, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, among countless others) and Marti Fredriksen (Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Veil Brides) in Folegandros, Greece. That’s where Lauri and Desmond met up to work on material that Lauri brought. THE RASMUS then did full band demos of all the tracks in Finland in July 2023, with production led by Frederiksen and Child.
Later, they finalized the songs and recorded the album with the whole band in Marti Fredriksen’s Sienna Studios in Nashville. Some of the tracks were mixed by Fredriksen in Nashville, assisted by Evan Fredriksen, while other mixes were done by Chris Baseford (Nickelback, Shinedown, Daughtry) in Vancouver, Canada and by Claudius Mittendorfer (Panic! At The Disco, We Are Scientists) in London, and Joseph McQueen (Bad Wolves, As I Lay Dying, From Ashes To New) in Los Angeles. Additional production by McQueen injects a fresh intensity into tracks like “Creatures of Chaos” and “Break These Chains,” while Ylönen himself takes the helm on “Rest in Pieces” alongside Alex Mattson.
Last month (on July 19), The Rasmus played a charity concert in Ukraine on as the headliner of the Atlas Festival, as the only foreign artist at the event. Over 110,000 people were in attendance, and there was a comprehensive security system and evacuation plan for the audience and performers in just a few minutes if it was necessary. Thankfully the festival went off without any issues and they were able to raise over $2.5 million Ukraine’s air defenses. Last year, the festival raised over two million euros. The artists can choose to direct their charitable funds to any Ukraine-related cause, such as supporting children’s hospitals, purchasing ambulances, or helping combat medical personnel.
“Going back to Ukraine really hit us hard. The people there are just incredible,” says Lauri Ylönen. “Their strength, their spirit, the way they come together…it’s powerful to see and even more powerful to feel. We also got to catch up with Kalush Orchestra, which was great! Playing ‘In The Shadows of Ukraine’ with all those people in front of us—that’s the kind of thing you never forget.”
THE RASMUS will bring their unforgettable stage show to audiences worldwide in 2025 on the “Weirdo Tour,” shows for 2026 are starting to be confirmed. They recently concluded a month-long U.S. trek with The Funeral Portrait and their own North American headlining tour. Tickets are on sale now for its European leg (9/12 – 12/6), while tickets for their 2026 shows will go on-sale July 17; see the full dates listed below.
Melodicmag.com described a recent tour stop in Boston as having, “…a special energy throughout the night, as the band mentioned many times how happy and fortunate they felt to finally be playing in Boston…It is safe to say The Rasmus gifted their loyal fans with a jam-packed show that is sure to be unforgettable.”
With their new album WEIRDO, THE RASMUS once again proves why they remain a force to be reckoned with in the rock world. In their native Finland, where they are the reigning #1 rock band, THE RASMUS stands at #1 on Spotify, YouTube, Instagram and Deezer as far as followers, views, likes and streams. It is often said that the best bands are the ones which keep surprising you time and time again, in the most thrilling of ways. This is something that the 6x Platinum and 8x Gold-certified band have been doing since their major label debut and a creative responsibility they take great pride in. If you’ve listened to any of their albums, you’ll be able to hear a kaleidoscopic collage of heavy guitars against futuristic electronics, as well as pop hooks that can find their way into the heart of any kind of music fan. As a direct result, they’ve become one of Finland’s greatest musical exports, selling millions of records worldwide and winning award after award.

AEDAN SKY is the brand-new solo project from Sébastien Chabot, best known as the guitarist & singer of French power metal band Galderia and bassist/composer in Kingcrown alongside ex-Nightmare frontman Joe Amore. After years of touring across Europe, racking up millions of streams and shaping a solid discography, Seb launches a new creative journey, a return to his roots in speed-driven, uplifting melodic power metal.
“The Universal Realm” is far more than a debut album; it’s a fully realized space opera metal saga telling the story of a cosmic journey toward spiritual awakening and universal consciousness. Written, arranged, and produced entirely by Sébastien, the album reflects his personal vision supported by long-time collaborators from the Galderia circle. To bring the story to life, the album features three lead vocalists performing as the main characters: Sébastien Chabot as SKY / Bob Saliba (Kingcrown, ex-Galderia) as AEDAN / Thomas Schmitt (Galderia) as SKY’s Soul. Their voices weave together across the songs, creating a rich, theatrical dynamic reminiscent of the classic metal opera format.
The album’s mix and master were handled by Simone Mularoni (Rhapsody, DGM, Secret Sphere) at Domination Studio, ensuring top-tier sound quality. The stunning cover artwork was created by Felipe Machado Franco, known for his work with some of the most iconic bands in the genre. Musically, “The Universal Realm” pays homage to the golden era of late ’90s and early 2000s European power metal, blending fast riffs, anthemic choruses, massive choir harmonies, and spiritually charged lyrics. It’s a heartfelt tribute to the genre’s greats, while carving out a distinct space through its narrative ambition and cohesive artistic direction.
Following the digital success of singles “Beyond The Vortex Of Time” and “A Kingdom To The Stars“, the album now arrives to offer fans the full epic journey. This record also marks the first chapter in an ongoing saga.
Fans of melodic and conceptual power metal will find in AEDAN SKY a fresh, passionate, and authentic voice.
To celebrate the album release, AEDAN SKY also presents the official lyric video for the song “Gate Of Skies,” offering fans an additional glimpse into the cosmic journey of “The Universal Realm“.
