Folk metal messengers of the ancient Cimbrian legacy from the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni (Italy), BALT HÜTTAR are sharing their next single “Prüdare Liebe” off their forthcoming album “Tanzerloch” out on September 12th, 2025 via Rockshots Records. A powerful blend of melody, rhythm, and meaning, “Prüdare Liebe” delivers a fierce call for unity in a divided world, drawing strength from centuries-old wisdom that still echoes in these rugged mountains. Alongside the release, the band unveils an official lyric video bringing the song’s message and Cimbrian verses vividly to life.
In Cimbrian, “Prüdare Liebe” means Dear Brothers, but this is no nostalgic lullaby. Set to pounding drums and folk melodies, the track is a defiant anthem against parochialism and tribalism inspired by the historical formation of the Spettabile Reggenza dei Sette Comuni in the year 1310. Back then, isolated communities banded together to form one of Europe’s earliest federations, overcoming their differences to survive, defend their lands, and shape their future. In a world once again fractured by fear and hostility, BALT HÜTTAR remind us that the most ancient lesson may also be the most vital: we stand strong only when we stand together.
BALT HÜTTAR‘s upcoming album “Tanzerloch” is a concept record that delves into the myths, memories, and scars of the Altopiano. Across 11 tracks sung in Italian, English, and Cimbrian, the band fuses the storytelling of folk traditions with the intensity of metal, creating a visceral and immersive soundscape. Produced by Christian Zecchin and released by Rockshots Records, “Tanzerloch” marks a new creative peak for the band.
For fans of Korpiklaani, Eluveitie, and Folkstone, BALT HÜTTAR deliver not just music, but a mission: to give voice to a forgotten culture and to use ancient stories to speak to today’s world.
Today marks the highly anticipated release of III – Candles & Beginnings, the third studio album from AURI — the visionary musical collaboration of vocalist Johanna Kurkela, Nightwish keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, and multi-instrumentalist Troy Donockley.
With III – Candles & Beginnings, AURI once again open a portal to an otherworldly soundscape where folk, progressive rock, symphonic textures, world music, pop, and avant-garde elements entwine. At the heart of the album lies Kurkela’s ethereal voice, soaring across lush sonic landscapes crafted by Holopainen’s emotive keyboard playing and Donockley’s eclectic instrumentation.
This new release is a tapestry of emotion and imagination, where each track tells its own story — from nostalgic reflections to deeply personal experiences.
Coinciding with the album’s release is the launch of the third single, ‘Blakey Ridge’, accompanied by a brand-new lyric video. Joyful and transportive, the track pays tribute to The Lion Inn at Blakey Ridge, a historic and beloved pub nestled in the remote beauty of the North York Moors — a personal haven for the band.
Troy Donockley comments: “Can the remote, isolated, back of beyond feel like home? Is the middle of nowhere the middle of everywhere? The sun is setting. The moon is rising. The night is coming. The Lion is waking… We’ll meet you up on Blakey Ridge.”
III – Candles & Beginnings is not just an album; it’s a journey to be felt with the senses, a sanctuary for dreamers and seekers alike.
Having been a studio endeavour in the past, AURI is finally going on tour with their first- ever live European trek kicking off in August 2025. Check out the dates:

Legendary singer Ronnie Romero is excited to announce the release of his new solo album, “Backbone”, out on October 24, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.
To celebrate, Ronnie shares the first single and official video, the title track, marking his triumphant return after the recent release of “Live At Rock Imperium Festival” last May.
Ronnie commented: “I actually have to thank my dear friend Russ Ballard!! Before I started writing the songs, I had this idea to make a song together, to link somehow the Rainbow connection we have. He immediately said yes and sent a cool idea which ended up being the song “Hideaway”. From there it was so easy to get inspired for the rest of the songs”.
“Also, the song we did with my dear Roy Z, and of course the amazing guitar solo of one of our heroes Kee Marcello for the song with Russ… It’s so easy to write music when you are surrounded by such great people!”, he added.
Romero continued: “Nothing would be possible without the help of my friend Jose Rubio, in the songwriting process and the wonderful job he did to get the powerful sound through all the album, since he took care of the mixing and mastering. I really believe it’s an important improvement from the previous album. I hope you all gonna like this one!! We feel very proud of what we achieved with Backbone”.
“Backbone”, Ronnie Romero’s new solo album, is a bold and dynamic statement that marks a major step forward in his solo career. Featuring a collection of powerful and inspired heavy metal tracks, the album showcases Romero at the peak of his vocal prowess. The album is produced by Romero himself and mixed and mastered by his guitarist Jose Rubio Jimenez.
Special contributions include guitar legend Kee Marcello, as well as acclaimed songwriter Russ Ballard, who penned the track “Hideaway”. The album also features a thunderous cover of Black Sabbath’s “Devil And Daughter”, reimagined with Romero’s signature intensity.
Romero’s unmistakable voice and tireless work ethic have made him a standout figure in the hard rock and metal world. He has lent his talents to iconic acts such as Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, The Michael Schenker Group, Lords of Black, The Ferrymen, Sunstorm, and most recently, Elegant Weapons, alongside Richie Faulkner of Judas Priest.
“Backbone” follows Romero’s first solo album of original material, “Too Many Lies, Too Many Masters”, and two covers records. 2023’s “Raised On Heavy Radio” paid tribute to metal giants like Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Accept, and Metallica, featuring special guests such as Gus G., Chris Caffery, and Roland Grapow.
Romero’s debut solo album, “Raised On Radio”, explored his personal musical roots, revisiting classic rock hits from bands like Survivor, Bad Company, Foreigner, Queen, and Led Zeppelin, all interpreted through his powerful and expressive vocal style.
With “Backbone”, Ronnie Romero solidifies his place as one of the premier voices in today’s metal and hard rock scene – bold, authentic, and undeniably electrifying.

Huge thanks to Stephen Craig and Ryan Northrop and for believing in this project.”
Continuing the drive towards OMNI [ULTRA] BIOHEX joins forces with The Browning’s Jonny McBee to unleash a brutal rework of “FED UP.”
Fusing industrial chaos with relentless hard techno and hardstyle energy, this remix slams with distorted kicks, cyber-metal breakdowns, and peak-hour intensity that blurs the line between mosh pit and warehouse rave. Engineered for dark rooms, flashing strobes, and bass junkies and splashed with McBee’s savage vocals “FED UP” (BIOHEX & Jonny McBee Remix) is out now on all platforms from FiXT. Cue the strobe, crank the gain.
The Browning announce the release of upcoming albumOMNI [ULTRA] on August 27th, now available for pre-order from FiXT. Preorder here: https://link.fixtmusic.com/OMNI_ULTRA
OMNI [ULTRA] features the original ten tracks of OMNI plus remixes from BIOHEX, Jonny McBee, Kaixo, Kodeseven, Darksiderz, MACHINYST, and Zardonic, plus new single “OVERLORD” with SWARM and THE DEFECT. This upgraded two disc edition of their latest full-length creation is more than an album. It’s a visceral descent into a futuristic fusion of deathcore, industrial, EDM, hardstyle, drum & bass, and rave metal laced with industrial textures, cybernetic rage, and raw emotional fire.
The originalOMNI was a visceral journey through the depths of deathcore, featuring ten powerful tracks, including collaborations with Nik Nocturnal and THE DEFECT. The album showcased some of The Browning’s heaviest songs to date, like “HIVEMIND” and “Poison,” which together have amassed over 3.5 million streams across all digital platforms. “Deceiver,” the third release from the album brings a blistering critique of the deceitful narratives perpetuated by those in power. Accompanied by an adrenaline-fueled official music video, “Deceiver” blends the explosive energy of metalcore with the dark, mechanical undertones of industrial and the raw emotion of deathcore and its inspiration – the iconic delivery found in Rammstein’s “Du Hast.” The explosive single “OMNI” featuring THE DEFECT, which premiered at Revolver Mag, served as a harbinger of the album’s fierce energy. The album ends with the ominous double capstone of singles “Come To Grips With Death and the End” and “Soul Drift” which flip a complete 180 while still maintaining the fierce vocals with “Soul Drift” illustrating the very definition of rave metal.
The Browning is an electronic metal band founded by Jonny McBee as a solo project in 2005. In 2010 The Browning transitioned into a full band and has toured the world with bands such as Electric Callboy, Static X, Fear Factory, and We Came As Romans. They’ve put out two EPs Standing On The Edge EP (2010), Time Will Tell EP (2011), and five albums, Burn This World (2011) Hypernova (2013), Isolation (2016), Geist (2018), and End Of Existence (2021). The Browning’s current lineup is Jonny McBee and Hardcore Keem. The Browning has consistently pushed the boundaries of music, fusing genres and redefining heavy sounds. The band’s new line-up sets the stage for an electrifying chapter in their journey.
In 2011 on their full-length debut Burn This World, The Browning expanded the boundaries of heavy music through a seamless fusion of industrial, electronic, rock, and metal. In 2013 Hypernova represented a high watermark for the band. Named ‘Album of the Week’ by Revolver, it yielded the signature anthem “Bloodlust,” which clocked over 2.6 million views and nearly 2 million streams. In 2016, they reached another level with Isolation, earning acclaim from outlets such as New Noise Magazine and generating millions of views between “Dragon” and “Disconnect.” The fourth full-length album, Geist, released in 2018, would push The Browning even further into the boundaries of heavy music with added deathcore and techno influences. End Of Existence released in 2021 would go on to receive generally positive reviews with Dom Lawson of Blabbermouth.net saying, “As ever, if the idea of metal mixed with EDM gives you violent facial tics and a sense of impending doom, End of Existence makes no attempt to make amends or win you over. And nor should it. The Browning have spent a decade pursuing an eccentric and polarizing path, and they still sound like a flash of inspiration brought to life.”
The Browning officially signed to FiXT in late 2023, after collaborating with the label for several years, creating two official remixes for Celldweller and signing a merchandise deal. The band has since released three well received singles with the FiXT. “Poison” which scored placements on Pandora’s AMP: Fresh Cuts, Industrial Metal, New Metal, This year In Metal, New Metal Now; Spotify’s All New Metal,, as well as featured on the WWE. The single currently sits on over 1.5 million streams alone on Spotify since its release. “HIVEMIND” would go on to score placements on Spotify’s All New Metal, New Flesh (Knotfest), and The Core, as well as VEVO’s Incoming Metal. “Deceiver” hit Pandora’s New Metal Now, New Metal (Station), This Year In Metal; Deezer’s Killed By Metal, Deathcore, and Metal Radar, and; Spotify’s All New Metal. Their sixth full length album OMNI hit the airwaves in November 2024.
Jonny McBee, vocalist, and songwriter for The Browning, is a trailblazing presence in the metal scene. He is also known for his role as the host and operator of the “Burn This World Podcast,” which is set to make its triumphant return this Fall. He also streams in The Browning Discord channel with fans tuning in to watch his creative process. Jonny has also embarked on a parallel journey with his groundbreaking new side project: The Defect.
Hardcore Keem, the band’s guitarist, brings his unique vision and sound to The Browning. Originally just a fan of the band, he officially joined The Browning on tour in 2022, now becoming a staple for the band’s future and marketing. Besides being in the band, he’s also a heavy music influencer and promoter with over 300K in social reach, including 100K+ followers on Instagram alone, and runs his own podcast, The Hardcore Keem Show.
The Browning On Tour:ELECTRONICORE 2025 – The Browning heads off to Europe on the EU SUMMER 2025 Tour, running from July 31st to August 23rd. The EU SUMMER 2025 Tour will also feature Polar and THE DEFECT. Tickets are available here.
GHOSTS OF SUNSET are set to release their new album ‘California Girl’, out 29th August on all major platforms via Golden Robot Records, and available to pre-save now, here.
‘California Girl’ is a soundtrack for dreamers, drifters, and the damned – an emotional rock ‘n’ roll road trip through heartbreak, addiction, longing, reinvention, and the ghosts we can’t quite outrun. With each song, the band builds a cinematic universe where characters chase love and identity across shadowy motel rooms, fading neon signs, and the endless open road.
At the heart of the record is the titular ‘California Girl,’ a recurring character from previous Ghosts of Sunset work who finds herself spiralling further into the façade of reinvention. Her story – marked by imposter syndrome and the illusion of a fresh start – threads through an album rich in storytelling and throwback sonics. From the Bon Jovi-tinged drama of ‘Anywhere but Here’ to the glam stomp of ‘Little White Lies’, California Girl shifts gears through heartfelt ballads (‘Fade’, ‘It Gets a Little Worse at Night’), dual-guitar anthems (‘Get Gone’, ‘Tell the World’), and power-pop bursts (‘Nothing But the Radio’), each track anchoring itself in vivid narrative and classic rock textures.
With nods to Thin Lizzy, Cheap Trick, Lucero, and 80s FM radio, Ghosts of Sunset continue to blend nostalgia with raw emotion. ‘California Girl’ is more than an album – it’s a late-night confession, a lost mixtape, a map of every wrong turn you swore you wouldn’t take again. But like the characters at its centre, you’ll keep driving anyway.
GhostsOfSunset features former (Dutch Henry) singer-songwriter John Merchant from Western Michigan, and former Michigan resident and multi-instrumentalist and former (The Verve Pipe) drummer Todd Long.
