Finnish melodic death metal titans WOLFHEART return with “Draconian Darkness II,” an ambitious EP that deepens their frostbitten legacy. Lead single ‘Carnivore’ sets the tone for the EP with menacing riffs and vicious growls, growing in power and grandeur as the track creeps along.
Vocalist/guitarist Tuomas Saukkonen comments: “‘Carnivore’ continues where “Draconian Darkness” ended. Clearly, the full-length was not enough to extinguish the flame of inspiration ignited by the darker side of humanity. Instead of seeking balance and harmony with nature and other species around us, we feed and feast on the world we live in. Consume more than is our share. Where nature brings harmony, we bring the fire and darkness. Also musically, ‘Carnivore’ is heavily drawn into the darker and more majestic side of WOLFHEART.”
This five-track release showcases every facet of WOLFHEART’s trademark sound: raw, poetic, and powerfully atmospheric. Featuring two new tracks (including orchestral and acoustic versions), plus a crushing live rendition from their latest album, “Draconian Darkness II” captures the band’s cold grandeur in both studio precision and on-stage intensity. Founder Tuomas Saukkonen continues to refine his vision with haunting melodies, relentless drumming, and evocative storytelling rooted in Northern landscapes. “Draconian Darkness II” is a journey through desolate beauty, bleak emotion, and thundering metal.
“Draconian Darkness II” is WOLFHEART at their best: melancholic, massive, and deeply melodic. With new songs, orchestral depth, and raw live energy, this EP is a cold flame burning bright in the dark.
WOLFHEART’s “Draconian Darkness II” EP arrives on September 19, 2025 via Reigning Phoenix Music! Two new tracks (plus orchestral & acoustic versions) and a live cut of crushing Northern metal: cold, poetic, and unforgettable. Pre-order here: https://wolfheart.rpm.link/DD2PR

Founded by the hardworking multi-instrumentalist Tuomas Saukkonen (known for BEFORE THE DAWN, BLACK SUN AEON etc.), WOLFHEART represent a unique blend of sinister atmosphere and intense Northern European metal. Their music combines raw power with poetic depth, earning them significant acclaim within the global metal community.
While WOLFHEART’s art is primarily inspired by their Finnish surroundings, their albums weave eclectic stories that connect nature and human emotions. With each release, they have expanded their artistic horizons, continually enriching their musical expression.
Nine years after their last album, Swedish metalcore legends ADEPT are back stronger than ever, unleashing another new single from their long-awaited fifth album, Blood Covenant, out October 24, 2025, via Napalm Records. “Parting Ways” is a cathartic anthem built upon pummeling chugs, and serene, soaring melodies, putting their virtuosic songwriting command on full display. Arriving soon before their next string of European festival appearances at Reload, Summer Breeze Open Air and Rock The Lakes, “Parting Ways” holds no punches, and neither do ADEPT.
Formed in the early 2000s in Trosa, Sweden, ADEPT helped shape the early European metalcore landscape, rising to prominence through passionate songwriting, high-octane shows, and raw emotional energy. Following their fiery comeback at Core Fest 2024 and numerous explosive festival performances, the band is now getting fans ready for Blood Covenant, an album sure to be redefining their sound with sharpened aggression, cinematic scope, and lyrical depth.
ADEPT about “Parting Ways”: “‘Parting Ways’ is hard and melodic, blending new elements with the core sound that defines us. It’s a track that allowed us to push our boundaries while staying true to who we are, and we’re genuinely proud of how it turned out. We can’t wait to share it.”
Drenched in vivid hues of red, Blood Covenant is a raw, unflinching reflection on scars carried, battles fought, and the hunger to feel something genuine. Opening with the intense title track “Blood Covenant”, the album sets a brooding tone that echoes through the record. “Heaven”, drags the listener through a storm of guilt and fast-paced riffs, while the hard-hitting “Define Me” follows with an imposing attitude and snapping aggression, underlining its uncompromising message of self-reclamation. Both tracks are marked by ADEPT’s signature blend of emotional intensity and unrelenting breakdowns. “YOU” dives deep into the emotional wreckage of love lost, with swelling, cathartic guitar leads and honest, bleeding heart lyricism. “Time Is a Destroyer” pulses with urgency and existential dread, unfolding over a haunting acoustic backdrop accented by swelling strings, while “Parting Ways” channels melodic death metal energy, shifting seamlessly between soaring clean vocals and anguished shouts, capturing a moment of vulnerability wrapped in restrained heaviness and reflection. “Filthy Tongue” dives headfirst into brooding industrial terrain, fusing harsh textures and hypnotic rhythms into a raw, relentless beast. Tracks like “Ignore the Sun” lean into darker, more cinematic territory, introducing eerie ambient layers and post-metal textures that enhance the record’s emotional complexity. “The Rapture of Dust”, the album’s closer, collapses the record into a final, sweeping moment of reflection—crushing and beautiful in equal measure.
Produced by Henrik Udd (Bring Me The Horizon, Architects) together with guitarist Gustav Lithammer and vocalist Robert Ljung at Henrik Udd Recording, the album boasts a sonically expansive and emotionally intimate production. Mixed by Henrik Udd and mastered by Thomas “Plec” Johansson (Soilwork, Dynazty) at The Panic Room, Blood Covenant wields immense weight and clarity without sacrificing any of its raw energy.

The Swedish heavyweights indisputably stand at the threshold of their most vital chapter yet. As they prepare to embark on their massive 20-Year Anniversary Tour this winter, Blood Covenant doesn’t just mark a comeback. It redefines the band—scarred but unshaken, and more inspired than ever.

German metal outfit Unprocessed are back with a statement of intent with their upcoming album Angel, which is due for release on Halloween 2025 (31st October).
The brand new video/single ‘Solara’, featuring Zelli of Paleface Swiss, combines a fresh industrial yet electronic approach with the signature Unprocessed downtuned riffage. The combined vocal performances of Manuel and Zelli create one of the album’s most striking moments. The track gives Zelli space to explore a different side of his vocal approach, resulting in a dynamic collaboration that is sure to turn heads.
Unprocessed comment on ‘Solara’ and the collaboration with Zelli: “With ‘Solara’ we were able to bring worlds together, leaning more into metalcore while maintaining our core essence, bringing in drum and bass influences for the first time. This track also features one of our absolute favourite vocalists of the scene- Zelli. His flow, timbre and lyricism is nothing short of amazing and we’re proud to present it to the world!“
Zelli adds: “I love Unprocessed, the boys and their music. What I enjoyed most about this project was that we worked on it hand in hand. It wasn’t just a matter of sending files back and forth; it was a true collaboration. I love that we were able to blend two genres in a way no one really had before. And the best part? I got to put my vocals on music I’d never worked with before. That’s always the most exciting part of a feature. Shooting the music video in the Swiss Alps made this whole project even better.“
Unprocessed is composed of Manuel Gardner Fernandes (vocals, guitar), David Levy (bass, synths), Christoph Schultz (guitar), and Leon Pfeifer (drums). Their upcoming album Angel marks another bold step in the band’s creative evolution. Expanding their sonic palette with heavier textures and emotive and intimate lyricism that highlights their poppier side. Angel features high-profile guest appearances from Zelli of Paleface Swiss and Jason Aalon Butler of Letlive and Fever 333. These collaborations add new layers of urgency and intensity to a record that explores themes of conflict, duality, and inner transformation.
The band speaks more about the themes of Angel: “This album is more than just a record by four boys from Germany – it’s a light shone upon the unknown, like memories from the afterlife. We explored the concept of “Angel” in various ways: becoming an angel through real-life actions, hearing angels serenade, a fallen angel telling his story and becoming the Antichrist, or seeing someone as an angel through glorification. This concept inspired both the music and the lyrics. While we’re leaning more into a polished metalcore sound, the record still maintains the essence of what makes Unprocessed unique. It features some of the craziest guitar, bass, and drum work we’ve ever showcased as a band. At the same time, we believe it’s more accessible to the broader metal and metalcore audience, with our strongest and catchiest hooks and melodies to date.”
Track-list: 1. 111 2. Sleeping with Ghosts 3. Beyond Heaven’s Gate 4. Sacrifice Me 5. Snowlover 6. Terrestrial 7. Your Dress 8. Where I Left My Soul 9. Solara feat. Zelli from Paleface Swiss 10. First Tongue 11. Perfume 12. Head in the Clouds feat. Jason AalonButler from Fever 333 13. Dark, Silent and Complete
The band’s previous album, …and everything in between (2023), received widespread acclaim for its complex arrangements and specifically heavy compositions. The record launched a major touring cycle which saw the band complete headline shows with many sold out across North America, and Europe, as well as performing their largest shows in China, and venturing into Japan, Thailand, Singapore and Australia for the first time. They also appeared at prominent festivals such as Download (UK), Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium), Mystic Festival (Poland) and Resurrection Festival (Spain).
In the past two years, Unprocessed have supported major heavy acts including In Flames, TesseracT, August Burns Red, Spiritbox, and Polyphia. Their collaborative work with Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage on …and everything in between highlighted the potential Unprocessed continues to exhibit amongst the scene’s most exciting guitar focused acts.
Central to Unprocessed’s identity is guitarist and vocalist Manuel Gardner Fernandes, whose playing has garnered international attention across online platforms and beyond. His partnership with Ibanez, including a signature model, and his ongoing guitar clinics around the world, reflect his growing status as one of the leading voices in modern metal guitar.
Unprocessed continue to push their sound forward with each release. Angel presents their most focused and dynamic material to date, offering a deeper look into the extremes of human experience without losing the technical foundations that first set them apart.

Armenian Black Metal band ILDARUNI returns with their new studio album “Divinum Sanguinem”, set to release on the 7th of November on Black Lion Records.
Ildaruni’s new album marks a powerful evolution, moving away from their pagan/folk roots to fully embrace raw, atmospheric black metal. Inspired by Hellenic mysticism and ancient lore, the record weaves dark, immersive soundscapes featuring melodic chanting, authentic choir, and grand orchestral arrangements. Mixed and mastered by renowned producer Christoph Brandes (known for his work with Thron and Imperium Dekadenz), the album flows seamlessly from track to track, delivering a polished yet intense listening experience that highlights Ildaruni’s rebirth and bold new direction.
A New Era Is Unveiled…
Ancient darkened rites and forgotten mythos converge, awakening a slumbering force from the gilded shrine. The trumpets of damnation shall sound seven times, summoning from the void the god of covenants. With spite and thirst, the fire-born shall raise the sulfur dagger profane to scald and shed the blood, presaging new woeful revelation.
Nine ominous initiations that are set to transform you into the storm of nomos and burning gnosis. A work of mystical upheaval, a sermon to the bestower of creed who will guide through the ghastly pathways to the ladders of Apothanaitismos!
Thy alone is his wreath! The spewed sacred blood is the essence of divine mysteries, pulverized and accursed, is the hollowed memory that hierophants passed on, is the forbidden knowledge, erased and incinerated, yet alive in ashes!
A ritual of divine bloodletting is about to unfold, and you are invited to revel in its might.
Tracklist:
1. Mithras Alone is My Wreath 2. The Ascension of Kosmokrator 3. Of Nomos and Flaming Flint Stone 4. Forged with Glaive and Blood 5. Zurvan Akrane 6. Arcane Sermon 7. Immersion into Empyrean 8. Scorching Pathways to Samachi 9. Divinum Sanguinem
The artwork was crafted by talented Khaos Diktator Design, who could transform the album concept into a powerful visual, while the album was mixed and mastered by Christoph Brandes at Iguana Studio, Germany.
TERAMAZE’s dark new single Suspended, In Love continues the mystery woven through songs like Lake 401 and Jackie Seth. The track dives deeper into the unsettling truth of a male stalker and his obsession growing more and more potent. Told through haunting melodies and intense dynamics, the song captures the helplessness of a victims emotional imprisonment, blurring the lines of love and control. Suspended, In Love is a chilling yet compelling new release in the ongoing concept across our multiple albums.
