Less than a month before IRON SAVIOR’s eagerly awaited new double album “Reforged – Machine World” finally hits the shelves (August 22, 2025 via PERCEPTION – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music), the German band have launched its final preview. Compared to the two previous single, the title song ‘Machine World’ has a rather bulldozing feel to it and is settled in mid-tempo realms – without missing the top-notch heavy metal precision the group is loved for worldwide, of course.
Band founder Piet Sielck (vocals, guitars) looks back at the track’s original release: “‘Machine World’ was the musical epicentre of our “Battering Ram” record. Its story line built on a 1-million-year old machine intelligence in the Andromeda Galaxy is not minorly epic than its riffs and melodies which transport the message of the song perfectly. Fun fact: We originally wanted to name the album “Machine World” instead of “Battering Ram,” so everything comes full circle now.”
IRON SAVIOR’s “Reforged – Machine World” release will feature 15 reinterpreted tracks from their rich catalogue, rounded off by a cover of JUDAS PRIEST’s ‘Starbreaker.’ Pre-order/pre-save here: https://ironsavior.rpm.link/machineworldPR

Originally formed in 1996 in New York City, Boiler Room released their self‑titled, independent album that same year produced by future Guns N’ Roses guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal. The addition of Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat) in 1998 began a creative writing relationship between him and singer Chris Lino and elevated the bands sound and performance. 1999 saw the band opening for nationally recognized acts along the East Coast, including Type O Negative, Life of Agony, Clutch and Static‑X, helping them catch the attention of renowned NYC radio station 92.3 K‑ROCK. Upon the release of their album they toured with Disturbed, Mudvanye, Kittie, and also Headlined a club tour in Europe.
The band disbanded in 2001, with Caggiano leaving to join Anthrax and the other members dispersing into various projects. Chris Lino connected with Mike Orlando and finally in 2022, Orlando reached out to Chris and suggested that he consider re-recording and re-releasing some of Boiler Room’s previously released songs. The result is Rectify which includes the brand-new stand out tracks “Haunted” and “Rectify”.
As Lino states, “I am pumped to re-release some great Boiler Room tunes and drop new material as well on this album. Special thanks to Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal for his guest appearance on the new tune “Rectify”. Crushed it! As usual!” Thal continues, “I’ve been a fan of Chris Lino and Boiler Room ever since recording their first album, back in the ’90s. So happy to collaborate once again, this time with a guest solo on their song ‘Rectify’…!”
All the songs were co‑produced, mixed, mastered, and engineered by Mike Orlando at his Sonic Stomp Studio in New York City. Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall, Category 7, Overkill) was brought in to play drums on the album while Orlando laid down the rhythm guitars. Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal guest appears on the title track “Rectify”. The lineup of Pete Rizzi (Who on Earth) laid down the bass, guitarist Nick Seditious (Soraia, Out of Exile) performed solos on select tracks, and the band recruited Tommy Spano (Sekond Skyn, A Pale Horse Named Death, Corey Glover) on drums to round out the lineup.

Denver, Colorado, a hot bed of underground metal in recent years, has birthed it’s latest breakout band, ARSON CHARGE. Melding thrash metal and hardcore punk, the five piece are selling out shows throughout the region as word spreads like wildfire across the country, without even releasing an album yet…until now. Today, the band announces the release of their debut record, A Dying Light, set for release on October 3rd with Anxious & Angry.
Commenting on the new record, vocalist Ben Roy says:
“A Dying Light started off as an impromptu creative outlet for guitarist Justin Hackl after a series of serious health issues and extended hospital stays sidelined him for months. After working with comedian and musician Ben Roy on a couple of those tracks, both decided that there was the framework for an entirely new musical project. Enlisting the talents of drummer Cody Hull, guitarist Dave Sandoval, and bassist Kris Hodgell, Arson Charge was born. Bringing together all their collective influences and styles, A Dying Light is a technical, aggressive, and surprisingly cohesive meld of punk rock, thrash metal, and hardcore. Lyrically it’s a catharsis; it’s a raw and real expression of the loss, self sabotage, fear and, ultimately, hope that we all experience, day in/day out, in our increasingly complicated existences. Again: Don’t fall in love. Get a pet or a fern or something.“
Along with the album’s announcement, ARSON CHARGE has revealed A Dying Light’s gripping first single, “A New Throne.”
Adding about the single, Roy states:
“‘A New Throne’ is about finally letting go of old friendships and endeavors that have ceased to be healthy and/or satisfying and setting out on your own in new and, oftentimes, uncertain new directions. It’s about starting over in hopes of building something novel and more congruent with the self you wish to be.“

About ARSON CHARGE: Rising up from Denver, Colorado’s prolific metal scene, Arson Charge is a five-piece behemoth made up of former members from mile-high area stalwarts Native Daughters, Chieftain, and Love Me Destroyer, and fronted by stand-up comedian, actor, and SPELLS lead singer, Ben Roy. Started with no intention beyond being the sum of its parts, Arson Charge is poised to turn heads with their unique blend of hardcore, thrash metal, and punk rock. Their debut album A Dying Light, set for release in the fall of 2025 on Anxious & Angry, is a bludgeoning and brutal dive into the feelings of pain, disconnection, and loss that arise from abuse and self-sabotage. Keep an eye out for Arson Charge in your neck of the woods very soon.

They’ve hit the viral Spotify charts, racked up hundreds of millions of streams, embarked on highly successful tours and in the process, galvanized a significant fanbase that hangs onto the band’s quest for stylistic inversion. But by virtue of physical onslaught and wanting to divine truth from their music, Lorna Shore have kept themselves fired up by torching the metal rulebook at every turn, practically demanding that other genres step up their game. https://lornashore.lnk.to/IFTEFWM-AlbumPR
About Whitechapel:
WHITECHAPEL, who formed in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2006, has seen the core lineup – vocalist Phil Bozeman, guitarists Ben Savage, Zach Householder, and Alex Wade, and bassist Gabe Crisp – intact since 2007, with the exception of drummer Brandon Zackey, who has been playing with the band since 2022. Released earlier this Spring on Metal Blade Records, WHITECHAPEL‘s latest album Hymns In Dissonance earned the #2 position on Billboard’s Current Hard Rock Albums chart, #3 on Independent Label Current Albums chart, #4 on the Current Rock Albums chart and #7 on the Digital Albums chart upon its first week of release. https://lnk.to/HymnsInDissonance
About Shadow of Intent:
Formed in 2014 by Ben Duerr and Chris Wiseman, Shadow of Intent has become one of the most respected and forward-thinking bands in modern metal. With four self-released albums—Primordial (2016), Reclaimer (2017), Melancholy (2019), and Elegy (2022)—the band has blended deathcore, black metal, symphonic, and progressive elements with narrative and conceptual ambition. The band’s music and subject matter center on the many evils in the world, whether myth or real-life events, and the future it may lead to.
The New England metal titans released their fifth studio album, ‘Imperium Delirium’, on June 27th via Blood Blast Distribution. https://www.shadowofintent.com/
About Humanity’s Last Breath:
Formed over a decade ago as brainchild and creative outlet for guitarist and producer Buster Odeholm (who also plays with Swedish progressive metal legends, Vildhjarta and drums with metalcore standard-setters, Thrown) and vocalist Filip Danielsson, HUMANITY’S LAST BREATH continue to raise the standards and expand the lexicon of extreme sounds for metal. https://www.humanityslastbreath.com/
On August 22nd, Pittsburgh deathcore titans Signs of the Swarm will release their sixth full-length, To Rid Myself of Truth, via Century Media Records. Today, the band is giving fans the final preview of the record before its release with a new video for the title track, which can be seen below and stream it now here.
“I started writing this song after Dave and I had a chat about getting back to the roots that made us want to make stupid-heavy music,” reveals drummer Bobby Crow. “I wanted some straight up knuckling-dragging, slack jaw shit. It felt like a great way to open the album and make a statement that we aren’t here to fuck around.”
“I personally think this is the heaviest breakdown on the record—maybe tied with closing track ‘Creator,'” explains vocalist David Simonich. “My favorite line from ‘To Rid Myself Of Truth’ was inspired by the recent Nosferatu movie: ‘The shrieks of two, the screams of one, the cries of none.'”

Reunited with producer Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, Mental Cruelty, Varials, King 810), Signs Of The Swarm continues molting their slamming deathcore exoskeleton, revealing a band now as indebted to Meshuggah, Gojira and Fear Factory as any of the deathcore bands they grew up on—now peers. After writing breakout 5th LP Amongst the Low & Empty (2023) almost entirely in-studio, the groupgeared up to do it again on To Rid Myself of Truth. This stint’s 7-week lead time—PLUS the in-studio time—was a veritable vacation for the band, with the addition of guitarist/backing vocalist Carl Schulz adding a whole other set of riffing hands (and vocal chords) to the band. It was plenty of time for the now-quartet, rounded out by bassist Michael Cassese, to craft metal exactly as they think it should sound: MORE. PISSED. And it is. Musically the album’s edges are far more serrated than their last’s flirtations with djenty bounce. Read the full bio for To Rid Myself of Truthhere.

Symphonic metal sensation BEYOND THE BLACK is excited to share that their brand new album Break The Silence is set to be released on January 9th, 2026 via NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS. Alongside the album announcement, the band has unveiled a stunning music video for the title track, which you can watch below. This announcement comes only a few days prior to the band’s highly anticipated prime time show on one of the two main stages at Wacken Open Air 2025 on Wednesday, July 30th.
BEYOND THE BLACK’s sixth full length Break The Silence is a concept album rooted in melodic metal with ethno influences, it explores themes of communication, inner strength, resilience and the urgent need to reconnect in a divided world. Tracks like ‘Let There Be Rain’, ‘(La Vie Est Un) Cinéma’, ‘Ravens’ and ‘The Flood’ examine how words – and their absence – shape our reality. It’s an emotional, multi-layered experience that mirrors today’s complex world and invites fans to be part of this new chapter.
Guest musicians on Break The Silence include Chris Harms from LORD OF THE LOST as well as Asami from popular Japanese power metal band LOVEBITES.
Singer Jennifer Haben commented: “On Break The Silence, we opened the door to new influences and collaborations. From symphonic to ethnic elements and guest artists who brought their own style into the mix — this album reflects everything we love about making music without boundaries. It’s a powerful blend of who we are and who we’re becoming“
