Outlaw pop trailblazer DEVORA has released her brand-new single “Cocaine Karaoke”alongside a visualizer, available now on all platforms.
“I wrote ‘Cocaine Karaoke’ in Nashville with Johnny Gates and Austin Luther, and it came out of one of the most unhinged relationships I’ve ever been in,” DEVORA shares. “I was dating this guy who was living a double life; completely full of shit, always coked up, making these wild promises that never meant anything. It almost became a running joke how insane his lies got, like I was just buying into this karaoke version of reality he was selling me. Fed up and spun out on emotional whiplash, I put it all into this song.”
She adds, “His lies started to feel like karaoke: loud, performative, and not real. He’d promise me the world, but it was all just a drug-fueled performance—cocaine karaoke. All noise and no substance. This song is me calling it out for what it was and closing that chapter for good.”
DEVORA is redefining the sound of the American frontier with her self-styled genre, “Outlaw Pop” — a high-octane blend of dark pop, rock, and alt-country rooted in the mystique of the desert. Raised in Arizona, her music channels the raw beauty and danger of the Wild West into cinematic, modern anthems about love, loss, rebellion, and life on the run.
Known for her haunting visuals and fierce stage presence, Devora has toured extensively, supporting The Warning, BUSH, and Austin Meade on sold-out runs across the U.S. This fall, she will return to the road with newly announced tour dates.
Devora is a rising force in modern music, blending bold visuals, genre-bending sound, and a rebellious spirit that’s redefining the pop frontier. Devora is crafting an immersive world where desert mysticism, raw emotion, and rebellion collide. As she continues to push boundaries and build a loyal following, Devora is not just creating songs—she’s shaping a movement.

Following the release of their lauded second album Stygian Wavz in March, Canadian four-piece Envy Of None are back today with a 3-track single and a brand-new video. The new offering features an alternative version of album track, a demo version, and the album track itself.
Bassist Andy Curran states “Thrill of the Chase was one of the last songs we worked on before handing in the completed record. It started with Alf’s funky demo and Maiah loved it and was very vocal about completing it. She and I were wanting to add something up tempo to the record and this one, despite being a little left of center style wise seemed to fit nicely. It has a cool funky positive vibe that we enjoyed exploring, especially the outro dance party section!”
Alfio Annibalini adds “At first glance, this track seems like an odd choice to include on the album, but once Maiah added her vocals, the track instantly sounded as if EON had walked through a new yet familiar door. And as a special bonus, the remix even features a cowbell!”

Alongside the digital release, Envy Of None will also be releasing ‘The Thrill’ as a 12” coloured vinyl version of the single with all proceeds from this release donated to UNHCR’s response to the Ukraine emergency. Speaking on the charity aspect of the single, the band shared:
“It is disheartening and infuriating that three years after Envy Of None initiated a fundraiser in support of the people of Ukraine, as they battle the invasion of their sovereign country by Russia, we are once again trying to do our part and ask you, sincerely, for your support in this repeated initiative. Every little bit counts, and our hope is that our collective assistance will ease their burden even a little and we never have to do this again. While Ukraine’s most formidable ally loses interest and seems to support the Russian campaign of terror, it is left to us to do what we can.
We are proud of the work we have done and prouder still of our commitment to make the world a better place than it is. With the purchase of this record, you too are helping ease their pain. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.”

Montreal-based rock/metal powerhouse Deadly Apples is back with a new epic and dark single, “Sacrifice,”available now on all major streaming platforms.
“Sacrifice” features collaborations with Richard Patrick (Filter / Nine Inch Nails) on vocals and Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails / Till Lindemann) on guitars and bass. The single was produced by Antoine Lamothe, with mixing handled by Ben Grosse (Depeche Mode), mastering by Tom Baker (Marilyn Manson), and pre-production by legendary producer Michael Beinhorn (Korn). The drums for the track were recorded on Lars Ulrich’s iconic Black Album kit, adding a historic edge to its crushing sound.
The band’s previous single, “Volatile,” made a major impact upon release—surpassing 100k Spotify streams in its first week and 100k YouTube views in just over a week. The track was featured on major editorial playlists including Spotify’s All New Metal, new nü, and Industrial Metal;Apple Music’s Breaking Hard Rock; and Deezer’s Industrial. The “Volatile” music video premiered at Montreal Fetish Weekend and went on to be selected for the Silver Screenings at the Berlin Music Video Awards (June 2025). The release also generated extensive coverage across top rock and metal outlets along with numerous interviews.
Deadly Apples continued their rise with major live shows in 2025, including Welcome to Rockville (Florida) and the Vivo x el Rock Festival (Peru), where they performed on the main stage alongside Avenged Sevenfold and Marilyn Manson.
Deadly Apples have built a loyal following thanks to their unique sound and relentless touring schedule, which has seen them share the stage with rock and metal heavyweights around the globe such as Korn, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Deftones, and Rammstein.
Fans can stream or download “Sacrifice” on all major platforms.
Montreal rock / metal band Deadly Apples – frontman / lyricist Alex Martel and drummer / composer Antoine Lamothe – has forged a reputation for its fierce, unpredictable, and high energy live performances often culminating with Martel diving – and drowning – into the crowd. As rock music – and society – has become increasingly safe and bland, the French-Canadian band has received praise for bringing back the danger and unpredictability to unsuspecting audiences.
Accompanied on stage by a touring guitarist and keyboardist / dancer, the Great White North act has showcased its intensity in arenas and stadiums around the globe – United States, Mexico, South America, Europe, Japan – on high-profile tours with Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Deftones and Rammstein, as well as Main Stage slots on festivals such as Hellfest Open Air, Knotfest, Vans Warped Tour, Hell & Heaven Fest and Resurrection Fest.
On their new full-length album DISTRESS, Deadly Apples push the limits of their catchy sound to every extreme: darker, deeper, and heavier, yet their most accessible work yet. Interlaced with cinematic atmospheres, poignant melodies, singular screams, gritty analog synths, pummeling drum beats, abrasive guitars, delicate pianos and heartfelt lyrics, DISTRESSis a unique, relevant and modern take on a classic genre that they made their own.
Recorded in Los Angeles, the album was produced by Lamothe, mixed by Ben Grosse (Marilyn Manson) and mastered by Tom Baker (Nine Inch Nails), with NIN alumni Danny Lohner performing the guitars / bass and Richard Patrick of Filter providing guest vocals. Early pre-production work was also completed with Michael Beinhorn (Korn).
Deadly Apples is back and will fucking destroy anyone standing in its path. THE DISTRESS IS COMING…………………………………………..
Italian hardcore band 217 will release their new album “In Your Gaze” on November 7th, 2025 via Time To Kill Records.
Born and raised on solid hardcore foundations, over time the band has expanded its sonic spectrum, enriching it with new influences and a nostalgic aura that constantly contrasts with their raw, original essence.
“In Your Gaze” marks another step forward in this journey – an album that rejects easy categorization and reflects the courage and honesty with which 217 approach their music.
The new release promises to combine intensity and introspection, keeping hardcore energy as its beating heart while opening up to expressive solutions capable of surprising even their most devoted listeners. It’s a record that seeks to capture the complexity of emotions, shifting between anger and melancholy, showcasing the maturity of a band now ready to leave an even deeper mark on the scene.
“Straightforward old school hardcore wrapped in a dreamy, nostalgic atmosphere. As if bands like Floorpunch, Verse, and Cro-Mags blended their sound with the alternative feel of Pearl Jam and the gothic rock aura of Fields Of The Nephilim. This is a song about the fall and rise of two different people. It could be your story”.
Tracklist:
1. Her Lay, Incorruptible, Ethereal Beauty 2. Resumption 3. Zenit 4. The Day My Father Died 5. Wandering Body 6. The Spinotian Resistance 7. Pit Is Not A Crime (feat. Kate) 8. Nadir 9. Free To Live/Free To Die 10. Cicada’s Swansong 11. You Can Get Rid Of The Past! 12. Hood Crew (by Growing Concern)
217 formed in Pescara in 2018 with the aim of blending old-school hardcore in the vein of bands like Slapshot and Judge with thrash metal influences reminiscent of The Haunted and Slayer.
After a number of live shows, a first European tour, and appearances at national festivals, the band released a debut EP titled “Atheist Agnostic Rationalist” in 2019 through Indelirium Records. The release, featuring songs recorded across multiple sessions, quickly sold out its initial run of 300 copies and circulated widely within the Italian hardcore underground.
In 2020, due to the pandemic, the band was forced to cancel 18 shows scheduled between March and June. The following summer, due to work and family-related issues, three members left the project. However, the band never officially announced a split.
In June 2024, now a four-piece, 217 returned to the rehearsal room to begin writing their debut full-length album. Drawing inspiration from American old-school hardcore (Negative Approach, Uniform Choice, Slapshot, Madball, Bad Brains, Chain of Strength, Growing Concern), mid-’90s new school (108, Have Heart, Snapcase, Abhinanda), as well as math rock, hardcore, and alternative dark rock (Melvins, Botch, Bauhaus, Fields of the Nephilim, Stone Temple Pilots, Killing Joke, The Doors), 217 now presents itself with a renewed and at times dreamlike musical and lyrical identity.

October 10 sees the release of “Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum”, the debut full-length album by Berlin-based black metal act HAERESIS, which will be coming out on Vendetta Records! In support of the new record, the band has unleashed the intense track “Eradicate Taciturnity” today.
The band about the song: “Eradicate Taciturnity is a feminist cry of lament that tears through the silence surrounding oppression and violence. What begins fragile grows into a cathartic turning point. It becomes a visceral portrait of patriarchal oppression and transgenerational trauma and culminates in a combative promise of resilience.“
“Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum” –Latin for “If you want peace, prepare for war” – is a powerful and dynamic fusion of genres. The album channels the raw energy of black metal, the expansive atmosphere of cinematic scores, and the relentless weight of post-metal into a multilayered and unflinching sonic experience.
Lyrically, vocalist Christin Graunke explores the fractures of contemporary existence, addressing postmodern alienation, the destructive grip of organized religion, and the brutal mechanics of imperialist aggression. In addition, guest vocalists Natalya Androsova (Machukha) and Yaryna Borynets (Salt Falls, Lori) add haunting and visceral depth that amplifies the emotional resonance of the album.
At the creative center is Daniel Ringl of Lichtlaerm Audio, whose songwriting and production give the album its unmistakable identity. The final mix and mastering by acclaimed producer Dave Otero shape the sound into an uncompromising yet immersive listening experience.
With “Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum”, HAERESIS invites listeners into a soundscape that is raw, introspective, and confrontational. It stands as a bold artistic statement within the contemporary extreme metal landscape. The album will be out on October 10 via Vendetta Records!

Iranian-Norwegian metallers Confess are set to re-release their second album “In Pursuit Of Dreams” on November 7th through their EVIN Productions imprint, complete with three previously unheard tracks; “Watch The Decay Of Sun”, “Convention”, and “Face-Off”. The announcement comes ahead of the release of their latest single “Teh-Hell-Ran”, which was released on September 19th!
Speaking about why they opted to re-release the album, frontman Nikan Khosravi has said: “To mark the 10th anniversary of “In Pursuit of Dreams”, we are proud to announce a reissue of the album, freshly remastered and featuring three previously unreleased songs, finally revealed after a decade.
This isn’t just an album; it’s a piece of history. The last record we dropped while still in Iran, it became a lightning rod for rebellion, defiance, and unapologetic expression. Just two weeks after its release, the authorities arrested us for its incendiary, protest-fuelled lyrics. This was the spark that ignited a movement and put us on the global map. Widely regarded as one of the most impactful and groundbreaking metal albums in the history of the Middle East, we believe “In Pursuit of Dreams” firmly established our place in the metal world.”
The tracklisting for “In Pursuit Of Dreams” is:
Teh-Hell-Ran

2025 has been an incredible year for Iranian-Norwegian metallers Confess. Back in January, they released stunning new album, “Destination Addiction”, which was produced by frontman Nikan Khosravi, mixed and mastered by Grammy-nominated Alberto De Icaza (Amon Amarth, Clutch, Miss May I, Dead Cross, Upon A Burning Body) and featured performances from extreme metal luminaries George Kollias (Nile) and Marzi Montazeri (ex-Phil Anselmo and Illegals, ex-Superjoint Ritual, ex-Exhorder, Heavy As Texas). Going on to secure rave reviews from the like of Metal Hammer, Norway Rock Magazine, Inferno Magazine, and more.
The band have since been announced for a full feature episode on their story as part of the HULU show “Into The Void: Life, Death & Heavy Metal”, which is set for a US release on September 22nd. Speaking about their inclusion, Khosravi said: “To have our story told on Hulu and Disney+ by VICE Studios Canada alongside legends like Judas Priest and Randy Rhoads, is unreal. For us, this isn’t just about music. It’s about survival, resistance, and proving that metal has no borders.
Confess has always been about speaking truth through distortion and fury, and this documentary proves that no system can silence metal. We were once called criminals for playing heavy music, now our story is streaming worldwide. That’s not just a win for us. It’s a victory for the entire global metal scene. To be featured alongside the legends we grew up idolizing is an honour we’ll never take lightly. We stand as living proof that metal is alive, dangerous, and unstoppable.”
Formed in 2010 in Tehran, Iran, the band’s ideology reflects the experiences of living under a theoretical political system, combining critiques of organized religion with commentary on sociopolitical issues and personal struggles. Their debut album, “Beginning of Dominion”, was released on January 1st, 2012. By 2014, Confess had released four singles and an EP titled “Back to My Future [2/4]”. The single ‘Encase Your Gun’ emerged after the Iranian regime suppressed the Green Movement in 2009.
Arrests and Imprisonment: On October 28, 2015, just two weeks after releasing their second album, “In Pursuit of Dreams”, frontman Nikan Khosravi and DJ Arash Ilkhani were arrested by the Revolutionary Guards. They faced charges of blasphemy and propaganda against the state due to their music and interviews. After spending three months in solitary confinement and 15 months in public prison, they were released temporarily on bail pending trial. Initially sentenced to six years each, they appealed the verdict.
Exile and Asylum: Due to ongoing threats, Nikan fled to Turkey in 2017. In December 2018 he was granted political asylum in Norway. Arash joined him in May 2019 after also seeking asylum in Turkey. In July 2019, in their absence, an appeal court sentenced Nikan to 12 and a half years in prison plus 74 lashes and Arash to two years in prison.
Musical Evolution and Success: Upon settling in Norway, Confess experimented with seven-string guitars and modern death metal sounds while retaining their signature groove. In 2022, they welcomed three new members and began touring without fear. They released their third album, “Revenge at All Costs”, on January 21, 2022, inspired by their struggles and experiences. The album received critical acclaim, earning high ratings from several metal publications and saw the band featured in prominent media outlets like Sky News, The Guardian and BBC.
Recent Activities: In September 2022, Confess signed a worldwide management deal with Extreme Management Group in New York. They continued to face challenges from the Iranian regime, including social media attacks, but remained inspired and productive. They supported Nile on their European tour, performing across 11 countries and 16 cities, solidifying their presence in the global metal scene. In September 2024 Confess supported Belphegor and Malevolent Creation on their European run before appearing at the Vagos Metal Fest in Portugal and Viborg Metal Fest in Denmark. The band’s new album “Destination Addiction” released on January 31st, 2025, through EVIN Productions to rave reviews.
