Exactly one year after the release of the latest neànder album “III”, which was celebrated by fans and critics alike, the instrumental rockers announce their own mini-festival. KRATER FEST will take place December 5 at Hafenklang, Hamburg and December 6 at Neue Zukunft, Berlin. In addition to neànder, Praise The Plague and All The Ghosts will be performing on both evenings.
“You might have to imagine neànder a bit like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Prong, Mogwai, Black Sabbath, Faith No More and Venom playing a session together“, is how music journalist Torsten Groß (Radio Eins, Rolling Stone) describes the band and their current album ”III”, which was released via Through Love Records.
Praise The Plague released their latest album “Suffocating In The Current Of Time” on Lifeforce Records in 2024. After numerous shows with bands such as Wolves In The Throne Room and Gaerea, the Berlin band will return to Hamburg and Berlin in December after a long live break to be part of the first Krater Fest. Atmospheric Black Metal for fans of Les Hommes Tomber, Der Weg Einer Freiheit or The Great Old Ones.
All The Ghosts have just recorded their debut album with Australian producer Damian Press and will be performing at Krater Fest for the first time in the band constellation they have now found. If you like The Cult, early Radiohead, Placebo or Jesus & Mary Chain, you’ll get the picture.
“The idea is to organize an annual home game in different cities, where on the one hand neànder play a special show, on the other hand selected friends, musical guests and inspiring acts are invited and play in clubs we love,” says the band about Krater Fest.
Advance ticket sales are now open at all sales outlets, tickets in the cheaper bundle offer are available in the band’s own store at:https://neander.merchcowboy.com/
French black metal vanguard SETH are unveiling a radical reinterpretation of Serge Gainsbourg’s infamous 1968 ode to Brigitte Bardot. Originally steeped in orchestral melancholy and sensual decadence, Seth’s cover of “Initials B.B.” emerges as a ceremonial descent through the fractured heart of post-Christian France—a realm haunted by divine absence, erotic delirium and the relics of fallen gods.
Seth’s latest album La France des Maudits is out now on Season of Mist.
“Initials B.B.” emerges as a new chapter in Seth’s ongoing rite of desecration. Falling on Bastille Day and the first anniversary of the French black metal institution’s latest album, the song deepens the image that the band have been conjuring of a France scorched by desire and spiritual collapse. As the republic recalls its hour of uprising, the band conjure another insurrection: one of shadows and silhouettes, where sound and image bleed together in an unholy communion.
As with the iconoclastic cosmology of La France des Maudits, Seth reimagine Brigette Bardot. In their blackened visage, she is as a mythic seductress, a corrupted Marianne veiled in red, muse to apostasy and forbidden glamour. Where Gainsbourg once sighed, the band now roars, threading the actresses memory into the album’s scarlet lineage of insurgent saints, diabolical poets and cast-out lovers.

In the solemn shadows of a lyrically resurrected Paris, where the whispers of revolution still haunt the cobblestones and the phantom caress of the guillotine’s blade lingers in the air, stands a band – not merely of musicians, but of modern Marats, Robespierres in leather and lace, anointed with the spirit of insurrection. SETH, the harbingers of a dark yet fervidly awaited dawn, are poised once more to unleash a tempest upon the sanctified silence of the contemporary music scene with their newest auditory uprising, La France des Maudits.
The history of black metal formation SETH and Season of Mist spans back to the early days of the French metal scene. The band’s debut Les Blessures de L’Ame (1998) was one of the first releases on the label. This album is now regarded as a cornerstone in French black metal, pioneering the usage of their native tongue on a black metal record.
The release of Les Blessures de L’Ame quickly gained international attention and SETH built a solid fanbase. The French blasphemers signed a two-release deal with Osmose Productions and participated on the MAYHEM cult tribute album Originators of the Northern Darkness alongside IMMORTAL and BEHEMOTH. The second full-length The Excellence came out in 2000 and featured a contribution from none other than Fenriz (DARKTHRONE), who wrote the lyrics for the song Let Me Be The Salt In Your Wound.
Shortly after, the group recorded their third album Divine-X (2002) at the Excess Studios in Rotterdam (EPICA, AFTER FOREVER, SINISTER). This record demonstrated the ability of the band to mix gloomy and violent atmospheres and received extensive coverage from the international metal press at the time.
Returning to the Netherlands to record the fourth album Era-Decay (2004), two new members joined the ranks of SETH: vocalist Black Messiah and guitarist Cyriex. Afterwards, the band was invited to play at the prestigious Inferno festival in Norway in 2005.
A long hiatus followed, until the band returned in 2011 to play an exclusive show in Germany with the German cult act BETHLEHEM. The band re-joined the ranks of Season of Mist, eventually releasing The Howling Spirit (2013) and embarking on a European tour with PESTILENCE. Several appearances at major festivals followed, including Hellfest and Graspop Metal Meeting, concluded by a Canadian headliner tour with new vocalist Saint Vincent (BLACKLODGE).
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Les Blessures de L’Ame in 2018, SETH exclusively performed the entire album at festivals in Switzerland, Canada (Messe de Morts) and Belgium (Thronefest). The French label Les Acteurs de l’Ombre productions released a live recording of these shows, called 20 ans de Blasphème. The band’s new line-up features members of LOUDBLAST, ARKHON INFAUSTUS and MELTED SPACE.
In the twilight year of 2021, within Paris’ shadow-ridden crypt, Studio Sainte Marthe, an album was birthed from SETH‘s tumultuous revelation, christened, La Morsure du Christ. Earning plaudits of wonder, it was no mere collection of hymns, but a solitary harbinger of deconstruction, a cataclysm of unseen proportions. Inspiration seeped from Notre-Dame de Paris—her skeletal frame ablaze in a 2019’s firestorm—an emblem of decaying faith for a godforsaken era. As heavy as the iron heart of a guillotine, La Morsure du Christ echoed through the chambers of 2021, reigning supreme in a multitude of international & French metal charts, as well as its inclusion on premier streaming platform playlists. Bold symphonies interwoven with razor-sharp lyricism and a sophisticated conceptual resonance that dared to envision black metal through a revolutionary lens.
Rooted deeply in the soil that once drank deeply of royal and commoner blood alike during the tumultuous fervour of the French Revolution, SETH presents their latest opus – a black metal gospel according to the damned and the outcast. An intricate tapestry of shadows and defiance emerges from the darkness of history’s recesses, swirling with the mists of apocalyptic visions and the ashes of fallen angels. La France des Maudits is a declaration of war, a call to arms for the souls still smouldering beneath the veneer of a world too long gripped in the cold hands of a moribund orthodoxy.
With the fractured bones of dead gods beneath their boots, SETH voyages through the forbidden and the occult, tracing the lines of ancient prophecies and the decadent whispers of La Grande Catin Écarlate, the scarlet woman of the apocalypse. Their songs, from Paris des Maléfices to Insurrection, resonate with the echoes of a Paris besieged not by armies, but by souls clamouring for liberation – a city where each stone tells a tale of defiance, where every shadow harbours the spirit of revolt.
Lyrically, La France des Maudits is dripping with the wine of condemned men and the blood of saints, narrating the epic saga of rebellion from the ashes of a fallen Notre-Dame. This is not the Paris of light, but of enlightening darkness, where the façades of grandeur crumble to reveal the raw flesh of true humanity, writhing in its eternal struggle against divine oppression. Here, in the very heart of darkness, SETH finds its muse among the cacophony of broken chains and shattered dogmas.
Prepare to march beneath the banner unfurled by SETH, in the grand tradition of those unyielding souls who once stormed the Bastille and dared to dream of a world remade. La France des Maudits beckons – not to the gallows, but to glory.

Produced by Colin Parks and mixed/mastered by Ronnie Bjornström , the track offers a cinematic blend of myth, melody, and metallic force that defies genre boundaries.
Drawing from symphonic death, melodic black metal, nu metal, and thrash, Ghosts of Atlantis appeal to fans of In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, Amorphis, Parkway Drive, Machine Head , and even Metallica . Their sound is a vicious storm of aggression and grandeur — forged in shadows, sharpened on stages, and now unleashed worldwide.
With members tied to Dani Filth’s Devilment and a resume that includes tours with Fear Factory and appearances alongside Avatar, Belphegor, Hate, Batushka , and Butcher Babies , the band has proven its power both live and in the studio.
Beyond the stage, their music has reached film audiences through contributions to Netflix’s Witch and Lionsgate’s action thriller One Ranger , establishing Ghosts of Atlantis as a sonic force in both the music and cinematic worlds.
“Melkin’s Tale” is not just a song — it’s an invocation. A myth reborn in metal.
This summer, the whisper becomes a roar. Ghosts of Atlantis are coming. Prepare for impact.

Finnish rockers Rust N’ Rage are pleased to share the new single and lyric video “Songs Of Yesterday”, title track of their upcoming new album set for release on August 22nd, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.
The band said: “Songs Of Yesterday” shows a bit more melodic side of us and our upcoming album, paired with an anthemic chorus that gets you singing along in seconds! It’s an emotional dive into a story so many of us are familiar with”.
About the new album, they added: “Songs Of Yesterday” is an ultimate collection of nasty riffs and tasty hooks; all forged in the fires of adrenaline filled rock n’ roll! These tracks are sure to get your head banging, so give it a spin and play it loud!”
Through lots of hard work and gigging, Rust N’ Rage have been starting to make a name for themselves in their home country of Finland. With energetic live shows and anthemic songwriting, this rock n’ roll quartet is ready to introduce themselves to the world more than ever before.
Coming from a small Finnish town called Pori, Rust N’ Rage are four musicians – Vince, Johnny, Jezzie, and Eddy – who share a common passion for rock n’ roll. Initially playing individually around their town, it didn’t take long for them to unite under a shared musical vision.
Drawing inspiration from ’80s legends such as Guns n’ Roses, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, and Dokken, the band has crafted a sound rooted in classic hard rock but with a fresh and personal twist.
The band’s debut album, produced by Jimmy Westerlund (One Desire), was filled with hard-hitting, melodic tunes. In 2020, things accelerated for the band as they found a new manager and teamed up with a new producer to bring their vision to life.
Now, their latest release, “Songs Of Yesterday”, produced by Olli Anttila, is the band’s defining statement – a high-energy dose of rock packed with powerful anthems, memorable choruses, infectious guitar solos, and explosive rhythms. It’s a celebration of their influences, but also a testament to their identity and evolution as a modern hard rock force.
“Songs Of Yesterday” Tracklist:
1. One For All (All For One) 2. Songs Of Yesterday 3. Just Like Brothers 4. Hey Jane 5. Gone But Never Forgotten 6. Rollin’ Till The Morning 7. Open Fire 8. I Am The One 9. Gave It All I Got 10. Fire It Up

Rock legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Glenn Hughes is pleased to unveil his new single and accompanying lyric video, “Voice In My Head”, taken from his upcoming studio album “Chosen”, set for release on September 5th, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.
This year will also see Glenn Hughes busy touring across Europe and South America, with “The Chosen Years” tour starting in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, on September 2nd, and ending on November 29th in Bogota, Colombia. For the full list of dates, please see below and HERE.
About the new single, Glenn commented: “Voice In My Head” tells the story of what’s goin’ on in my subconscious mind. It’s a song that most definitely needed to be written. Very therapeutic. We all have “this voice”. Observe, recognize and be a witness, & let go…”
Commenting on the new album, Glenn stated: “Songwriting is deeply personal to me, and l generally write and record when I have something to say. It’s been nine years since I recorded my last solo album, “Resonate”. There have been recordings and collaborations with other artists, since 2016”.
“When writing “Chosen”, I went back to my life drawing board, writing about the human condition, love, hope, faith and acceptance. I write about how I feel on the inside and not externally. My life is lived from within, in the present moment. It’s an album of soul food, and I’ve never been so grateful, right here, on planet earth. Music is the healer!”, he added.
Vocalist/bass guitarist/songwriter Glenn Hughes is a true original. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. That astonishing voice is his calling card. He’s known as a singer’s singer. Stevie Wonder once called Glenn Hughes his favorite white singer.
After a nine years hiatus as a solo artist, Glenn Hughes is back with “Chosen”, his brand-new solo record: an album which presents Glenn in his most hard rockin’ fashion. An explosive record that offers Glenn Hughes at its absolute best with a state-of-the-art album, both from a songwriting and production standpoint. A truly captivating return!
Glenn Hughes, a native of Cannock, England, absorbed all kinds of influences, including early British hard rock, the Beatles and, most importantly, American soul and R&B. The sleek Motown sound from Detroit and the gritty Stax/Volt sound from Memphis left their mark on him.
Glenn Hughes first found success in the early ’70s with the band Trapeze, before joining Deep Purple in 1973 during a pivotal lineup change that introduced him and David Coverdale to the group. Despite initial scepticism, the revamped band silenced critics with the release of “Burn” (1974), a powerful album that revitalized Purple’s sound and remains a classic.
During this era, the band headlined the iconic California Jam in front of over 300,000 fans, toured the world aboard their private jet The Starship, and released two more studio albums, “Stormbringer” and “Come Taste The Band”, before disbanding in 1976.
Glenn’s first solo album “Play Me Out” was released in 1977. He joined former Pat Travers guitarist Pat Thrall to form Hughes/Thrall, which released an acclaimed self-titled album in 1982. Throughout the ’80s and ’90s, Glenn Hughes made countless guest appearances (both credited and un-credited) as a vocalist, bass guitarist or songwriter on other artists’ albums. The endless list includes – among others – Gary Moore, John Norum, Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath.
Since 1992, Glenn has started a prolific solo career with a dozen studio albums where he explored all the different sides of his songwriting and influences: from hard rock to funk and more contemporary sounds. He collaborated – among others – with such musicians as Chad Smith (RHCP), Dave Navarro, John Frusciante and many others.
He also founded or took part in some amazing musical alliances such as California Breed (with Jason Bonham and Andrew Watt), Black Country Communion (with Joe Bonamassa) and The Dead Daisies.
Glenn has collaborated with Robbie Williams on his new single “Rocket”, which was released on May 22nd, 2025. The track also features a collaboration from Tony Iommi and will be the first time Glenn has been featured on a record with Tony since 2005, when they released “Fused” together.
Glenn Hughes has also recently joined forces with Satch Vai, a new collaboration by legendary guitar icons Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, by writing and singing on their new single “I Wanna Play My Guitar”.
“Chosen” Tracklist:
1. Voice In My Head 2. My Alibi 3. Chosen 4. Heal 5. In The Golden 6. The Lost Parade 7. Hot Damn Thing 8. Black Cat Moan 9. Come And Go 10. Into The Fade
