THE COSMIK DEBRIS BAND is a project born in Dublin, the Irish city where Mauro Angeletta, the Italian mastermind behind the band, has been living for years. The band, founded by guitarist Angeletta and harmonicist Arthur Guillon, brings together a lineup of skilled and experienced professional musicians under one name. Just a few weeks ago, they announced their signing with Volcano Records, officially kicking off the collaboration today with the release of ‘Living On A Dying Planet’, now available on all digital platforms.
The track blends diverse influences with style and personality, drawing from classic rock giants like Thin Lizzy and progressive legends like Rush, while also venturing into the psychedelic realms of Pink Floyd, with subtle nods to icons like Bowie and Zappa. Living On A Dying Planet is the opening track of an upcoming concept album titled Tales From The Moon, a musical narrative chronicling the adventures of Will Fargo and his journey to save humankind as it flees a ravaged Earth where nature and community have been annihilated by unchecked technological advancement and extreme industrial pollution.

Based in Tehran, Amin & Tara make an eerie entrance into the experimental industrial scene with their debut single, “Hole.” Featuring Meshcut, the track captures the invisible trap of effort and expectation. The relentless pursuit of achieving enough.
“It’s not failure that haunts you,” the artists explain, “but the impossibility of ever arriving at enough. Like a silent hunter, the hole waits for the moment your foot slips and forces you to start over relentlessly.”
Opening with a repetitive beat and the robotic chant “do it again,” “Hole” immediately immerses listeners in an anxious mindscape based around overachievement. The monotony of the song mirrors a high-speed work session that is driven, mechanical, and subtly self-destructive. As the song unfolds, this mechanical surface cracks. It reveals emotional vulnerability beneath. A noticeable shift occurs, it’s as if reasoned awareness pushes back against the perfectionist mindset. It’s the sound of consciousness healing itself. Amin & Tara showcase genre-blending sophistication in this track. Rooted in electronic and industrial textures, “Hole” also incorporates elements of alternative rock, building an atmosphere that is both hypnotic as well as unsettling. With “Hole”, Amin & Tara don’t just start out, they make an explosive entrance into the experimental scene, declaring themselves artists willing to go to dark, obsessive depths to shine light on the human condition.

Amin & Tara bio: Amin & Tara is a collaborative and independent project by longtime creative partners Tara and Amin. After years of playing in different bands—Tara as a drummer, Amin as a guitarist—they began developing their own solo work. Eventually, they decided to merge their visions into a single shared project, officially formed in 2024 in Tehran, Iran.
The inspiration behind their music comes from raw, personal experiences—daily life, emotional exhaustion, darkness, and resistance. Their sound is experimental and unbound, moving fluidly between industrial, alternative rock, and electronic. There are no rules, no fixed genres, no language limitations. Each track is built on instinct, emotion, and the unique story it needs to tell.
They chose to release music under their own names—Amin & Tara—to preserve the honesty and purity at the core of their work. The project is open to collaborations with vocalists, musicians, or producers, but Tara and Amin remain the core creative force, joined by Nima Ramezan as co-producer. Amin & Tara is not just a music project—it’s a multidisciplinary artistic platform. While rooted in sound, the project extends far beyond audio into visual storytelling, fashion, performance, choreography, and design.
Rather than fitting into an existing genre or style, Amin & Tara explores raw experience through whatever medium feels necessary—whether it’s a track, a garment, a photograph, or a live performance. The goal is not to create music alone, but to build an entire world around it.
US heavy metal duo, ASHES OF ARES, featuring former Iced Earth members Matt Barlow and Freddie Vidales, have premiered a video clip for their new single “Keep On Walkin'”, taken from the upcoming studio album “New Messiahs”! The song is out now on all digital streaming services at: https://ashesofares.rpm.link/kowPR
“New Messiahs” will be released on CD, Vinyl and Digital in Europe on July 18 and in North America on August 8, 2025 via ROAR. The album pre-sale is available at this location: https://ashesofares.rpm.link/nmalbumPR
About the haunting single, “Keep On Walkin'”, Matt Barlow reveals: “
“Keep On Walkin’ is a song I wrote about parenthood while considering my relationship with my sons. I was inspired after taking a walk one day and thinking of that walk as the measure of a lifespan. I wanted to start the narrative with my son’s first steps and end after I have passed away and they continue on their own path.”
Formed in 2012 by Matt Barlow and Freddie Vidales, alongside former Nevermore drummer Van Williams, ASHES OF ARES was born from a shared vision: to create a sound that reflects their personal influences, ideas, and visions. With their self-titled debut album released in 2013, the band quickly captivated audiences in the USA and Europe with their electrifying live performances.
In 2017, after the departure of Van Williams, Matt and Freddie continued undeterred, forging ahead with their creative journey. Their sophomore album, “Well of Souls” (2018), showcased a more intense and expansive sound, cementing the duo’s partnership in songwriting, followed by their third full-length, “Emperors and Fools” (2022), that marked a new milestone and evolution in the sound of ASHES OF ARES.
Now, the band returns with “New Messiahs”, continuing their relentless pursuit of sonic excellence and delivering a collection of 12 new tracks that push the boundaries of their signature sound! Featuring the blistering title track and standouts like “Two Graves” and “Wake of Vultures,” the album brings an emotional intensity, sharp songwriting, and captivating melodies that reflect their journey as artists. “New Messiahs” introduces notable collaborations, including Kyle Taylor on drums and guest appearances from Charlie Honig, Craig Blackwell, and Todd La Torre. A surprise bonus track, featuring a powerful cover of Elton John’s “And The House Fell Down”, highlights the duo’s ability to make any song their own. Recorded and mastered by Byron Filson at Villain Recording in Phoenix, Arizona, the album features stunning artwork by Kamil Pietruczynik, bringing a visual dimension to the sonic experience.
Spanning over a decade of evolution, ASHES OF ARES continues to honor their commitment to heartfelt, powerful music that transcends boundaries. With “New Messiahs”, they solidify their place as masters of storytelling and architects of a sound that resonates deeply with fans worldwide.

Italian instrumental trio TALAQAT will unveil their self-titled debut album on August 8th, 2025.
“Talaqat” was born out of a need for total creative freedom—free from genre boundaries, labels, and classifications. The project is a pure expression of each member’s creativity, personal influences, and musical experience. All songwriting is collaborative, and ideas take shape organically during rehearsal sessions, never premeditated or forced. Each track is envisioned as a journey, telling a story without the use of lyrics, inviting the listener to interpret it in their own unique and personal way.
This approach gives the band’s sound a fluid and undefinable character. On first listen, it may defy easy categorization, but repeated plays reveal ever-shifting nuances that draw from post-rock, post-metal, progressive, and new jazz—a fusion of the members’ diverse backgrounds, shaped into a free, personal, and uncompromising musical identity.
“Talaqat” was recorded in the winter of 2024 at KONO Studio (Biella, Italy) and mastered by Harris Newman at Greymarket Mastering in Montreal, Canada.

TALAQAT was formed in 2023 by three musicians with diverse backgrounds and a shared desire to push boundaries. Matteo Borzini (drums) and Adriano Fontaneto (guitar) have collaborated for years in several prominent underground acts such as Corey, One Fine Day, Steam, Fog In The Shell, Mathians, Postvorta, Killer Is Me, and The End Of Six Thousand Years. In recent years, Adriano has also explored electronic music, while Matteo continues to play with The End Of Six Thousand Years. Massimo Splendore (bass), who has occasionally worked with the pair in the past, brings a different trajectory—one that began in metal, passed through rock, and eventually touched Italian pop music. The project sets no limits in terms of genre. Instead, it draws inspiration from extreme metal, jazz, progressive, and hardcore, combining these influences into a sound that’s both distinctive and deeply personal.
Blazing forward with a fresh vocal dynamic, “What’s It Gonna Be?”, the new video and single taken from the upcoming album “Interceptor”, is a bold and riff-heavy mission statement from British heavy rockers FURY.
This track puts co-lead vocalist Nyah Ifill in the spotlight, delivering fire and soul over stomping retro grooves and searing guitar work. Catchy, commanding, and full of intent, it’s a defiant anthem about owning your choices and standing tall. With razor-sharp energy and hooks that won’t quit, this is the sound of a band pushing forward with purpose.

Fury are challenging the barriers of hard rock and metal genres once again with their exciting new album “Interceptor”. From the reassuringly old-school fast riffing and anthemic vocals the long lasting fans know from Fury, to the carefully composed, introspective auditory treats that might surprise listeners who expect metal bands to sit neatly in their box.
Since their previous album, “Born To Sin” (2022), Fury have moved into the territory of dual lead vocals, opening up a new soundscape for the band to explore. With the release of every album since their debut in 2014, vocal melody and harmony have become an increasingly significant part of their sound. Until no longer could the band remain a four-piece, and the powerhouse Nyah Ifill joined alongside founding member Julian Jenkins on co-lead vocals. The pairing of their two distinctive vocal timbres build a wall of sound on the “Interceptor” album, and doesn’t let up the intensity for their roaring live shows.
2022 was also a big year for Fury bassist Becky Baldwin, who found herself meeting heavy metal idols Mercyful Fate on their first tour in 23 years, and was invited by King Diamond to tour the USA, Canada and Mexico with Mercyful Fate in the absence of their bassist, Joey Vera. After taking this opportunity, Becky was invited to join Mercyful Fate permanently in January 2024. With frequent gaps in the touring schedule to allow King Diamond his many projects, Becky found herself busy with Fury, on the road and recording the high-energy new album “Interceptor”.
“Interceptor” also marks another sonic change for the band, bringing in the production expertise of Todd Campbell of Stompbox Studios. Fury met Todd while touring Europe supporting Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons in 2023, and it became clear that someone so close to Motörhead and Lemmy would understand the energy, rawness and dirty guitar and bass tones that Fury craved for their fifth studio album.
Since the band’s formation in 2010, Fury’s line up has undergone many transformations, but it is undoubtedly clear that Fury have found their stride in recent years, reflecting in their expansion into touring mainland Europe and a growing online following worldwide. Gig highlights include festivals such as Download (UK), Bloodstock Open Air (UK), UrRock (CH) and supporting bands such as Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Firewind and Florence Black.
The West Midlands of the UK have produced many excellent heavy bands, and with a shift from unapologetically DIY to signing with Danish label Mighty Music, perhaps this is another album from Birmingham to shake up the airwaves again!
“Interceptor” will be released on LP (black vinyl limited to 200 copies and purple vinyl limited to 300 copies), CD and digital on 05.09.2025, via Mighty Music.
