Acclaimed international singer-songwriter Leah Martin-Brown is pleased to unveil her latest single and official video, “Levitate”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.
Fresh off the punchy release of country rock banger “R U Chicken”, Martin-Brown returns with a haunting, atmospheric ballad co-written by legendary producer Robert John ‘Mutt’ Lange and hitmaker Tony Nilsson. Produced by Lange, Nilsson, and Tommy Denander, the track marks a bold evolution in her sound.
“Levitate” is about that feeling you get in the early stages of love – when being around someone makes everything feel a little lighter. This is a song that celebrates and explores that deep, safe ‘you feel like home’ love”, she declared.
Leah Martin-Brown is an Australian vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist known for fusing raw rock grit with cinematic emotion.
Now based in Los Angeles, CA she first broke into the Australian industry with her goth-rock project Lilly Rouge, earning support slots with acts like Everclear, The Presidents of the USA, and The Getaway Plan before heading to the U.S. to level up her sound and vision.
In LA, she founded Evol Walks – a no-holds-barred hard rock band that had Leah sharing the stage with the likes of Black Label Society, Within Temptation, Nita Strauss, and Johnny Depp.
Her commanding stage presence, powerful vocals and raw, unapologetic songwriting caught the attention of Frontiers Music Srl, where she now steps into her own as a solo artist.
With more genre-blurring releases on the way and international touring in her sights, Martin-Brown continues to push boundaries – and she’s just getting started.

THE HARA returns with their dark and intoxicating new single, “Stay,” and the news that they have signed to Mascot Records (Dinosaur Pile-Up, Calva Louise, Defects, VOLA). Watch the video for Stay HERE.
They are also bringing their electrifying sonic assault on the road, supporting Nothing More in Europe, As December Falls in the UK in October and November, on top of festival appearances at 2000 Trees (UK), Boomtown (UK), and Mighty Sounds Festival (Czech Republic).
They have also announced a 10-date co-headline tour of Europe with Call Me Amour from 8 – 20 November, calling through the Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic and Germany. Tickets will go on sale at 10am CET on 27 June and are available HERE. Find the tour shows below.
Josh Taylor, Zack Breen, and Jack Kennedy’s raucous genre mash-up of alternative rock, metalcore, and emo has seen them grab attention and pick up support tours with Nothing More, Escape the Fate, and Ice Nine Kills over the last year while dropping the singles The System and Trophy. The Manchester trio have built a formidable live reputation, which has led to them supporting pop-punk giants Sum 41, and they’ve exploded across the festival circuit with performances at Download, Slam Dunk, 2000 Trees, Kendal Calling, TRNSMT, Tramlines, Truck, and an incredible main stage set at both Reading and Leeds Festival, and Rock For People (Czech Republic).
Co-written with close friend Kid Brunswick, “Stay” showcases THE HARA’s continued ability to meld fresh, alternative metal with lyrical depth, creating a more mature take on their recognisable soundscape. From the moment Taylor opens with, “Are you holding on, Are you holding on for me, Cos you’re still in my lungs. It’s suffocating me,” you are immediately drawn into his vulnerability, which derails you before being disorientated and catapulted between the angst-ridden metal climaxes and his tender openness.
The track finds vocalist and lyricist Josh Taylor grappling with the suffocating toxicity of a damaging relationship. The desperate desire to cling to that which hurts you is mirrored in the musicality, with delicate, fragile verses that are then shattered by heavy, chugging guitars and thunderous drums. This hard-hitting track is an exploration of both vulnerability and destruction.
The themes of abandonment and dependency are brought to life through a suite of visuals that draw inspiration from ghost stories and Gothic, vampiric romance. A music video in a forgotten and decaying nunnery creates a haunting sense of despair and an eerie unease throughout. Artwork and photography by Cosmic Joke, captured in the gothic corners of Whitby, bring to life and reflect the vampiric nature of a parasitic relationship.
Their explosive and theatrical swagger, which blends elements of Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, I Prevail, Limp Bizkit, Band Omens and Falling In Reverse, has seen them pick up support from Kerrang!, Dork, Clash, Kerrang! Radio and BBC Radio 1’s Introducing and Future Alternative shows.
Fresh from a sold-out UK headline tour at the start of the year, THE HARA are looking to build on the success of singles “Trophy” and “The System” by launching “Stay” in tandem with a summer of festivals and supporting metal giants, Nothing More and As December Falls.

New from Jawbone: an eye-opening memoir from Derek Shulman that traces his extraordinary journey through music, from 1960s pop fame with Simon Dupree & The Big Sound to cult status as frontman of progressive rock pioneers Gentle Giant, and later as a record executive who signed and developed global acts like Bon Jovi, Dream Theater, and Slipknot. He also played a key role in revitalizing the careers of legends such as AC/DC and Bad Company. On sale October 7, 2025.
In Giant Steps, Derek Shulman chronicles a remarkable life and career surrounded by music and creativity in many forms. It begins with a young Derek confidently telling his schoolteacher he would grow up to become a star, and unfolds into a fast-paced and eye-opening journey through decades of pop culture, creative risk-taking, and personal reinvention.
Shulman first found fame as a teenager in the 1960s pop and r&b group Simon Dupree & The Big Sound, then pushed rock music to the outer edges in the 1970s as frontman of progressive rock pioneers Gentle Giant.
In the 1980s, he made a bold pivot into the record business, taking on senior roles at labels like Polygram, ATCO, and Roadrunner Records. There, he signed and developed artists including Bon Jovi, Dream Theater, Slipknot, Pantera, and Men Without Hats, while also helping to revitalize the careers of AC/DC, Bad Company, and others.
Along the way Gentle Giant would become a defining influence on hip-hop, sampled by many of the genre’s leading lights including J. Dilla, De La Soul, Run The Jewels, Travis Scott and dozens more. The band was later championed by Questlove, drummer of The Roots and acclaimed filmmaker, who named them one of his favorite rock acts of all time.
Clean-living and focused in an industry often defined by chaos and excess, Shulman offers a rare perspective on the evolution of music and culture from the 1960s to today. Giant Steps is essential reading for fans of prog, rock, hip-hop, and anyone curious about the inner workings of the music industry.

Advance notices
‘Derek Shulman was there before there was a there. We grew together as a team. We learned as we lived. He was the one real A&R man that we could count on when we needed him.’ Jon Bon Jovi
‘Many years ago, I had the privilege of playing with Simon Dupree & The Big Sound on a tour of Scotland. It was a joyous experience. The band were fabulous musicians and great guys and treated me so well.’ Elton John
‘The intensity of Gentle Giant’s performances sometimes extended from stage to dressing room after their show when a noisy post-mortem might erupt into murderous fraternal screaming matches over a missed semi-quaver or less than perfect vocal harmony. Spirited bunch, the Giants, in full flow. Move over, Cain. Step aside, Abel.’ Ian Anderson, Jethro Tull
‘We were into prog rock hard back then and loved it all. However, Gentle Giant was different. The articulate and musically experimental yet beautiful music that came out of the speakers was captivating.’ Steve Lukather, Toto

About DAVID REECE: American singer David Reece first came to international prominence in the hard rock community joining Accept in 1987, replacing the iconic Udo Dirkschneider. With Accept he released the “Eat The Heat” album in 1989, a record that while somewhat divisive within Accepts more die-hard European fanbase, has no shortage of acclaim in equal measure from the wider hard rock and AOR community. David’s voice was a perfect fit for both the more streamlined American heavy rock direction the band wanted to pursue at the time and the Heavy Metal stylings that are still found in great abundance on the record. Thus, songs like Generation Clash and XTC fast became staples of late 80’s rock radio and fan favorites to the present day.
After departing Accept in 1990 David wasted no time in forming Bangalore Choir, a band that would showcase his immense vocal talents combined with first rate songwriting. Released via Giant Records in 1992, the bands debut album “On Target” has become an album held dear to lovers of melodic heavy rock the world over. Timing being everything, sadly the change of radio programming toward the then emerging Grunge movement halted a very promising young band from making the global impact it very well might have had if the album had arrived some years earlier.
David has gone on since to front many bands such as Bonfire, Wicked Sensation, EZ Livin’ and more recently Iron Allies, but he has always felt there was unfinished business with Bangalore Choir, revisiting the project with the occasional release….which brings us right up to date, the latest Bangalore Choir album … Its title a guarded secret at this stage. Needless to say, if you wanted more of what you loved about “On Target” this one will truly hit the mark.
To our beautiful weirdos, the outlaw rockers, radio renegades, press rebels, and the global underground: It’s time to break our silence. It’s time to speak our truth.
Our latest album, ‘Church of the Pistoleros’, outsold many of the records that did chart — including our own previous charting release. Three times over — yet due to a catastrophic breakdown in the submission process, and an industry ruling that denied our physical sales retroactive validation, our rightful place on the UK Album Chart was wiped out.
We were let down. You — our fans — were let down. We stayed silent out of respect. But now? We rise like heretics set ablaze beneath a blood moon. This is no comeback. This is a reckoning. This isn’t the end. It’s a resurrection. This is the sound of saints who burn rather than kneel.
‘Church of the Pistoleros’ has been officially withdrawn from the Earache Records webstore and distribution.
THE NEW CHURCH RECORDS IS HERE Not born in boardrooms. Not signed off by algorithms. No suits. No scripts. This is fire-baptised, spirit-led, artist-owned chaos. The New Church Records is our altar of rebellion. Our sanctuary for the strange. Our label. Our rules. Our truth — weaponised. “The old ways are dead. The industry is a mausoleum. We are the resurrection.” We reject the polished. We reject the safe and stale. We reject conveyor-belt rock for the medicated masses. We’re building a new temple — one sacred riff at a time.
THE RE-RELEASE COMETH ‘Church of the Pistoleros’ returns 19th Septemberon The New Church Records — fully re-released worldwide with the chaos and care it always deserved. A brand new limited-edition coloured vinyl has been added for in-store release There are now six colours available in a lucky dip style order. New home. New fire. No compromise
Distributed globally via the very mighty Plastic Head Music — D2C, in-store, and digital Plus special limited repressings of The Mescalito Vampires and Duende a Go Go Loco, vinyl and CD’s will be released all via PHD too
Accompanying the re-release: – A cinematic music video from Jay Shredder, a twisted, holy epic for the album’s rebirth – A gothic visual revelation for Dance Naked in the Rain — dark, brooding, and soaked in myth.
AND THEN… THE FUTURE BLEEDS FIRE A brand-new full-length album is underway, conjured once again with the genius of Dave Draper. The New Church Records opens the gates to more sonic sinners, beginning with the electric Dixie Dix — and many more to follow.
This isn’t just a label. It’s a movement. It’s rebellion wrapped in glitter, soaked in wine, and dripping in gasoline. It’s a place for the misfits, the too-loud, the never-quite-right. It’s a black mass for the broken. It’s a middle finger to the machine that tried to mute us. And it begins NOW. We’re going next level. And if you’re reading this? You’re already one of us.
We’ve officially joined forces with Jay Shredder (SLL Studios) as Manager— a visionary, a firestarter, a true believer. He now leads GYPSY PISTOLEROS into this next era — with purpose, with power, with no apologies.
Viva GYPSY PISTOLEROS Viva The New Church The Second Coming is upon us.

Guns, Faster Pussycat, Poison, Ratt, ZZ Top, Papa roach and Twisted Sister, amongst many others, building a devoted following in the U.S. and U.K. alike. The band, led by Gypsy Lee Pistolero, is known for their fiery live performances and eclectic mix of sounds, which combine the raw edge of punk rock with Latin rhythms and glam rock theatrics. In 2020, Gypsy Lee Pistolero returned to the music world after a hiatus, bringing a matured yet electrifying energy to the stage. With two successful albums under their belt since their comeback, the band is now poised to make their biggest impact yet with Welcome to the Church of the Pistoleros.
Founded in 2000, Car Bomb celebrate their 25th year with the release of a new EP Tiles Whisper Dreams which will be out 1st August, 2025. Consisting of three new tracks, Tiles Whisper Dreams is the band’s first new music to be released since 2019’s Mordial album. The band have recently released a first track ‘Paroxysm’ which is now streaming at the link below.
‘Paroxysm’ reveals a revitalized Car Bomb, seemingly chomping at the bit with all the fury of a band half its age. “This is our first release since before COVID,” states guitarist Kubacki “and we really tried to put our 100% into these songs.”
In under three minutes, the aptly-titled ‘Paroxysm’ delivers a barrage of semi-automatic drum-fire and viscous guitars, conjoined in inscrutable patterns. Vocalist Michael Dafferner mostly roars but lets his singing voice shine in one brief, glistening moment. The song is about “the never-ending struggle with power and control,” he says.
In a genre built on shock and awe, it is tough to be shocking or awe-inspiring these days. With metal in its sixth decade, making an impact is an increasingly difficult feat. The ceiling is red with the blood of straight-line shredders futilely competing for the attention of desensitized ears.
Car Bomb is that rare metal band that have found a pathway through the ceiling – a wormhole, if you will – and have occupied a position of radical transcendence for a quarter-century now. In their 25 years of existence, the New York City-area quartet have been sculpting its own signature sound and cementing its identity as an outlier, above the fray, inspiring a legion of younger musicians in the process.
Car Bomb‘s sound is that of perpetual transformation: a spiraling flurry of rhythm and texture that congeals, fleetingly, into planet-pulverizing death-grooves and fragments of haunting melodies. Baffling rhythmic modulations and deep-space guitar effects appear to warp time completely. Disorientation is the rule, not the exception.
“Their psychotic turbo-thrash is disgustingly disorienting,” reads one Kerrang! review. “One relentless onslaught of time-chopping violence.“
A Stereogum review describes the style as “a rhythmically abstruse variety of extreme metal… hallucinatory time-stretching.“
Car Bomb guitarist Greg Kubacki puts it like this: “When someone asks me what we sound like, I always ask them ‘what’s the heaviest band you listen to?’ and then I say it’s either 10x, 100x, or 1,000x crazier than that, depending on their answer. We aspire to create our own style of heavy music by bending everything: the notes, time signatures, tempos, sonic quality of the guitars, etc. We’re always pushing and pulling everything, ripping ideas apart and then squashing them back together. And as a result our songs might sound chaotic at first, but as they progress the patterns, grooves, and motifs embedded inside all of the mangling and warping will reveal themselves and evolve in unexpected ways. Most people won’t get that deep into our stuff and will just hear a pile of noise, which is fine with us. We’re creating the kind of music we want to hear and that’s all we care about.”
Car Bomb will tour Europe and the UK in August, including dates with Gojira, Between the Buried and Me, and Imperial Triumphant.
