Emerging from the shadows of industrial decay of Łódź, Poland, autoscopy is a visceral new force in the realm of heavy music. Fusing crushing electronic beats, cinematic soundscapes, and metallic aggression, the band conjures a sound that’s both haunting and hypnotic.
With influences rooted in darkwave, post-metal, and EBM, autoscopy explores themes of identity, inner conflict, and the uncanny — inviting listeners to peer into the mirror and confront the reflection that stares back.
This is not just music; it’s an out-of-body experience, so step into a world of distorted dreams and digital shadows.
The album “the third man factor” was mixed and mastered by Kuba Sawicki at Phi Studio, whose portfolio includes collaborations with Averme, Fallen Prophet and Christian Woochuck. The graphic design was done by Bartosz Hervy (Blindead). The debut album is scheduled to be released on June 13, 2025 on CD (pre-order at Bandcamp) and all popular digital platforms (pre-save).
This is how the band comments their album: “The Third Man Factor is an album announcing a new phase of musical madness. It’s a way to face your inner demons and start a new path of reality“.

The relentless melodic death metal quartet DREADMASK has released their gripping new single and video, “The Light” — a harrowing and emotionally charged track taken from their critically acclaimed debut EP, Thy Prime Dread, out now via Wormholedeath Records.
The song is about the devastating train crash in Greece on February 2023, showing the chaos, loss, and heartbreak that followed. It’s a harsh reminder of how greed, apathy, and incompetence can lead to tragedies. The lyrics capture the feeling of trying to hold on to hope while everything around you falls apart. It paints a vivid picture of the human cost of neglect and those in power who don’t care, asking for help when everything feels like it’s too late.
Born in 2023, Dreadmask arose from a collective passion for crafting heavy music with a purpose. Based in Eindhoven and composed of members from Greece, Hungary, and the Netherlands, the band channels personal and societal struggles into their music. Their name, Dreadmask, symbolizes the battle against fear and the facades we construct to navigate a tumultuous world.
Dreadmask’s EP, Thy Prime Dread, explores existential dread and human resilience, delivering a blend of crushing riffs, haunting melodies, and poignant lyricism. With influences ranging from Swedish death metal and blackened melancholy to progressive elements, Dreadmask is carving a unique space in the metal scene.

Evil Remains is a hook-laden heavy metal thrill-ride into Nosferatu nights.
Back after a six year break with the black magic fully recharged, Castle have delivered a juggernaut of riffery in a hook-laden mix of doom and psychedelic-tinged classic metal. Adding to the atmosphere of majestic doom, Elizabeth Blackwell’s haunted, full-blooded vocals are electric witch hymns of death and madness; ‘Hear my warning, heed my call’ indeed.
Recorded at Raincity Recorders in Vancouver B.C. by producer Jesse Gander (Anciients, 3 Inches Of Blood, Brutus) Evil Remains sonically balances the warm and fuzzy with the bombastic power of an alternate universe stadium rock band. Bassist/vocalist Elizabeth Blackwell and guitarist/vocalist Mat Davis bring their unique female and male vocal attack and scorching, serpentine riffs to dizzying new heights. Rounded out by drummer Mike Cotton’s thunderous precision, Evil Remains delivers a metallic knock out punch from the first to the last note of its eight pummelling tracks.
Written over a five year period – beginning in Castle’s then home town of Joshua Tree, California after a year-long tour for their previous album, Deal Thy Fate – the songwriting culminated this past year with pre-production sessions taking place in the band’s new twin home bases of San Francisco and Vancouver. Since storming out of San Francisco with their 2011 debut, In Witch Order, Castle have toured relentlessly. The live ritual resumes this year across North American and European dates.

THE VALLEY return with ‘Eons’, a new, atmospheric track available from May 30th on all digital platforms via Volcano Records, and on YouTube with an official video directed by Marco Rimondi.
The alt-prog band from Liguria (Italy) confirms their ability to explore the most intimate and melancholic territories of contemporary progressive music, drawing inspiration from bands like Tool, Katatonia, and Riverside. Eons is a slow journey through loss, where time does not console but settles. The song moves between suspended dynamics, sharp riffs, and hypnotic melodies, with Eros Povigna’s voice tracing powerful emotional trajectories. The lyrics reflect on the existential sense of absence – a condition that constantly changes while always remaining, like a familiar and unresolved rain.
Produced and mixed by Mattia Miniati, Eons is the second single from The Valley’s upcoming project and marks a fundamental step in the band’s musical narrative.
Alt rock favorites YELLOWCARD are celebrating the announcement of their new album Better Days by releasing the lead single and title track “Better Days” along with album track “honestly i.” Better Days is the band’s first full feature length album in almost a decade and will be available on October 10th. This highly anticipated album is produced as well as executive produced by Travis Barker. Barker also plays drums on every song.
The single “Better Days” is an unflinching reflection on gratitude, forgiveness, perspective, and purpose. Once ubiquitous on MTV and the Billboard Hot 100, the Vans Warped Tour veterans, whose first two albums produced double-platinum and gold title tracks, sound fully recharged and revitalized in 2025. William Ryan Key, Sean Mackin, Ryan Mendez, and Josh Portman have never sounded stronger. The song “Better Days” is also accompanied by a music video that has the guys depicting iconic 80’s movie characters performing in a vintage video shop. Directed by Jordan Phoenix, the video is a refection of how much fun the guys are having this time around as a band and with their music. Ryan Key says, “We are focused on this chapter of our career being about happiness. This is the most fun we’ve had making a video in 20 years and we hope everyone has a smile on their face when they watch it.” The band agreed that making a new album was pointless unless it was the best of their career. They refused to rush the process and for the first time gave themselves permission to ask for help. Ryan Mendez invited his long time friend Nick Long into the writing sessions and it was through Long that Barker became part of the project, coming on board to play drums and produce the whole ablum.
“I started the record as one version of myself and came out the other side changed,” says front man Ryan Key who credits Barker with a significant impact on his personal and creative studio breakthroughs. “I went in knowing I needed help. I came out of it writing songs like I was 19 again.”

About Yellowcard
Yellowcard meant it when they said goodbye. The lights dimmed on one of the most beloved pop-punk and alt-rock bands of the 2000s with intention and authenticity. Wrapping things up with a farewell tour, Yellowcard exited the “right” way, with grace, appreciation, and finality.
But the story wasn’t complete. Legacy cracked the door. Healing blew it wide open. Riding a resurgence that saw the global Ocean Avenue 20th anniversary tour featured in Forbes and a reconciliation that put all four members at peace with their legacy and each other, Yellowcard just made the most ambitious and emotionally resonant record of their career. Better Days, the band’s first album in nearly a decade, was produced by blink-182’s Travis Barker, who also played drums on every track.
Their first release with powerhouse label Better Noise Music, Better Days is Yellowcard’s testimony that healing is a process, growth is nonlinear, and sometimes the best chapter opens after the supposed ending. This isn’t just a return. It’s a reckoning. And this time, Yellowcard is ready.

PHIL X & THE DRILLS share a fresh single from their recently released new album ‘Pow! Right in the Kisser’ which is out now via Frontiers Music Srl. the single is titled “I Love You on Her Lips” and has a lyric video riding alongside.
About the track, PHIL X comments:
“Everybody knows a friend in a relationship where the partner says ‘I love you,’ but it’s obvious that the partner doesn’t mean it. That’s what ‘I Love You On Her Lips’ is about. Love is on her lips but not in her heart. The track goes back to an old punky Drillsvibe with classic rock thrown in there. I wanted to have old David Lee Roth-type screams in there to take it over the top. I love the energy & Gary Novak delivered the perfect drums.”
About the new album, he adds:
“‘POW! Right in the Kisser’ was a good ten years in the making. ‘Battleship’ was tracked in 2014. I just kept writing, and we’d record and then kept the whole ‘different drummer on every song’ thing going. It became a very special collection of songs & vibes. It’s very exciting for me to share something like that with the world.”
The journey of PHIL X & THE DRILLS is one of relentless passion and perseverance. From their early days stirring up the Hollywood rock scene in 2003, to their breakout EP ‘Kick Your Ass in 17 Minutes’ (2009), the band has always kept fans hooked with their high-energy sound and jaw-dropping performances. As PHIL X became a YouTube sensation through his work demoing vintage guitars for Fretted Americana, the band’s visibility skyrocketed, eventually evolving into the powerhouse known as PHIL X & THE DRILLS.
Over the years, the band has worked with an incredible roster of guest drummers, including Josh Freese (Sting, Foo Fighters), Abe Laboriel Jr. (Paul McCartney), and Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), among others. Their most recent release, ‘Stupid Good Lookings Vol. 1’, showcased the band’s knack for pushing boundaries and delivering unforgettable rock tracks.
In 2024, PHIL X & THE DRILLS hit a new career milestone, opening for Mötley Crüe at Summerfest in Springfield, IL, where their performance left 10,000 fans and industry professionals in awe. Now, with ‘POW! Right in the Kisser’, they’re set to take the next big step in their musical journey.
