Belgian death metal force WOUND COLLECTOR has inked a worldwide deal with Wormholedeath Records for the release of their sophomore album. More info coming soon!
Renowned for their audacious fusion of brutal death metal and avant-garde saxophone, the band carves a unique niche alongside acts like Nile and Imperial Triumphant, delivering relentless aggression with an unorthodox twist.
Formed in 2015 by saxophonist/composer Peter Verdonck (Thelema Trio, Ambrassband), WOUND COLLECTOR merges technical death metal with haunting saxophone melodies, defying genre conventions. The current lineup—Guy Van Campenhout (7-string guitar), Stijn Deldaele (bass), and Nico Veroeven (drums)—continues to push boundaries, building on a legacy that includes 2020’s Depravity (featuring Aeon’s Tommy Dahlströhm) and 2023’s self-released EP Begging For Chicxulub.
The debut album, Eternal Bloodcult, was released in 2018 via Profane Records, cementing the band’s reputation for unrelenting intensity and innovation.
Having shared stages with Brujeria, Cattle Decapitation, and The Monolith Deathcult, the band continues to electrify audiences with their visceral live performances.

BraveWords Records is pleased to announce that ASKA have released a video for the track “From Out of the Sky”, taken from their latest album “Knight Strike”.
“From Out of the Sky” is a followup song ASKA wrote on one of their favorite topics – Extraterrestrial Alien Invasion.
George Call, from ASKA, “We love Science Fiction as much as we love writing about medieval fantasy and such. On our previous album, “Fire Eater”, we had a brief soundscape called “The Last Message”. It was a final message left on a beacon in space from a now extinct civilization where our world had once been. This message had been playing in space for practically an eternity before our listeners stumble upon it and hear the tale of humanity’s demise. “FOotS” kind of picks up, extrapolates and delves deeper. I think we see it as a kind of sequel of sorts. Questions are asked; Are they friend or foe? Will you run or will you stand and fight?
As “TLM” was put together by ASKA bassist, Keith Knight, and he was the principal songwriter on “FOotS”, we felt it appropriate that he should take the lead vocals on this one. I thought it would be a great surprise for our fans as it’s the first time Keith has sang lead vocal on an ASKA song since our 3rd album, “Nine Tongues”.”
Catch ASKA live with BraveWords Records labelmates, Lillian Axe on August 17th at Reno’s in (Deep Ellum) Dallas.
About ASKA: ASKA, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas-based, long-running heavy metal band has, as the title they gave their 3rd international tour can attest, “been there, done that”. And how! In 1992, just a short year after the release of the group’s self-titled debut album, they began touring the world performing at military bases, embassies and satellite installations around the globe for the U.S. Dept. of Defense/USO entertainment services. For nine years the group maintained a steady course, playing for U.S & foreign military troops in well over 56 countries and territories globally before turning their focus to the civilian world. There, they promptly played festivals around America and Europe and furthered their exposure in no small way. From inception to present, ASKA released seven full length albums on both national and international labels.
During the process, ASKA’s triple-threat frontman/vocalist/guitarist, George Call, came to the attention of cult, US underground metal pioneers, Omen, where he was promptly recruited to take over the lead vocalist slot for three years while still maintaining his role in ASKA. When that association dissolved, George was immediately snatched up by former Atlantic Records/Metal Blade, Midwestern, MTV veterans, Banshee, where he’s been front and center on the band’s two newest top notch releases. While helming both bands after a fateful meeting at a festival performance with ASKA in Germany, Call, was further enlisted to join U.K. legendary, cult NWOBHM band, Cloven Hoof, where he proceeded to record and release three critically acclaimed, fan-favorite albums. ASKA drummer Danny White joined George on two of these endeavors while the band’s long-serving bassist/vocalist, Keith Knight, engineered and recorded a high percentage of George’s extra-curricular activity at his Knight Recording Studios, keeping the three working together even when it was outside of the band.
With the release of their brand-new single “In der Hand”, German folk rock greats SCHANDMAUL opens a significant new chapter in the band’s history. It’s the first song unveiled since the lineup change announced in late April – marking the musical beginning of a bold new era.
From now on, Till Herence takes the lead on vocals, guiding the long-standing folk rock band into the future with energy and familiar passion. He takes over from Thomas Lindner, who can no longer perform vocally after recovering from cancer. Lindner remains an integral part of the band, switching roles to play acoustic guitar and keyboards on stage.
“In der Hand” brings together everything SCHANDMAUL has always stood for: stirring melodies, poetic lyrics with emotional depth, and their unmistakable sound. The track isn’t just a powerful musical statement, it’s a symbol of new beginnings. The official accompanying music video visually reinforces the song’s message, standing as a tribute to courage, strength, and community.
SCHANDMAUL on “In der Hand“: “This song comes straight from the heart and captures exactly what drives us right now: we’re moving forward! We’re far from done – there’s still so much we want to say! With renewed strength, fresh support, and a burning passion, our hearts are on fire!”
After the single’s release, SCHANDMAUL is gearing up for a thrilling 2025 festival season, highlighted by their very own Folkfield Festival on September 13 at the Amphitheater Gelsenkirchen. Tickets available here
Following a short live break, the band will hit the road again in December 2025, teaming up with labelmates SUBWAY TO SALLY for ten dates across the Eisheilige Nacht tour, starting December 12 in Pratteln.

“‘Paper Doll’—a smoky, aching, blues masterpiece. It’s pure Samantha: vulnerable and defiant all at once.” – Rock News, 10/10
“‘Paper Doll’ is one of Samantha Fish’s best albums to date.” – Music News.com
Samantha Fish delivers a bold ride across rock, country, blues, and a punk in just over 36 minutes. She shows her range without losing her signature grit.” – Rock The Joint.
Samantha was Grammy-nominated for “Contemporary Blues Album of the Year” for her collaboration with Jesse Dayton on Death Wish Blues. Total Guitar voted Samantha as one of the “Top 100 Greatest Blues Guitarists” of all-time. In 2024, she joined Slash on his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. US tour.
Samantha will play a selection of songs from her new album Paper Doll, plus tracks from her rich back catalogue of albums including Wild Heart, Chills & Fever, Belle of the West, Death Wish Blues, Faster, and Kill or Be Kind.
After launching her recording career in 2009, Samantha established herself as a rising star in the contemporary blues world. The charismatic singer-guitarist-songwriter has earned a reputation as a guitar hero and a powerful live performer, while releasing a series of acclaimed albums that have shown her restless creative spirit consistently pushing her in new, exciting, and often unexpected musical directions.
The New York Times called Fish, “An impressive blues guitarist who sings with sweet power,” and “One of the genre’s most promising young talents.” Her hometown paper, the Kansas City Star wrote: “Samantha Fish has kicked down the door of the patriarchal blues club and displays more imagination and creativity than some blues veterans exhibit over the course of their careers.”
Samantha believes her musical future is an open road. “I’m never going be a traditional blues artist, because that’s not who I am,” she says. “But it’s all the Blues for me. When Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf came out, what they were doing didn’t sound like anything that had been done in Blues before. You’ve got to keep that kind of fire and spirit. I’m never going to do Muddy Waters better than Muddy Waters, so I try to be who I am, and in doing that, I find my best voice.”

Time To Kill Records is proud to present “Mirrors”, the second single from Italian hardcore outfit RESPECT FOR ZERO’s upcoming EP “Overtime”, due out on June 30th, 2025.
“Mirrors” showcases a more brooding side of the band. Fusing razor-sharp riffs, pounding rhythms and emotionally-charged breakdowns, the track reflects on inner conflict and fractured identity without losing the raw aggression that defines RESPECT FOR ZERO’s sound. “Mirrors” reaffirms the band’s ability to evolve within hardcore’s framework, channeling both fury and vulnerability into a cohesive and hard-hitting anthem.
“The lyrics critique a dystopian society in which people—referred to as “dying brains”—are manipulated and controlled. They lead empty lives, blindly obeying and chasing unattainable dreams. The media and the obsessive pursuit of money are portrayed as tools of manipulation, used to conceal darker truths. The lyrics convey a sense of disillusionment and warn of the danger of losing one’s individuality”.
Tracklist:
1. Reaching Death 2. Mirrors 3. Sagnol 4. Born Again
RESPECT FOR ZERO is a hardcore band from Sant’Elpidio a Mare, on Italy’s east coast, active since 2013. Their name doesn’t stand for “respect for nothing” but rather for respect for those who are treated like zero compared to corrupt politicians and the authorities who exploit us.
The band channels the rage of a generation raised in the suburbs, without comfort, and under the repression of the global underground culture—constantly stifled by the church and a bigoted mindset. The band stands firmly against fascism.
RESPECT FOR ZERO has shared the stage with bands such as Terror, Ratos de Porão, Expire, No Turning Back, WarCry, Bent Life, Trash Talk, Comeback Kid, H2O, Impact, Bull Brigade, Meet the Storm, Strength Approach, Slander, Straight Opposition, Face Your Enemy, Mud, Chains, and many more!
