Finnish atmospheric art rock band Cosmic Revival released a new single ‘No Room For Mistakes’. LISTEN to the single on streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/cosmic-revival-no-room
The band comments:
“Built from the start on organic interplay between the musicians, the song reflects our belief as a band that music is at its strongest when it grows from genuine interaction, shared dynamics, and the chemistry between musicians. While our debut single, ‘Hairy Mary’, introduced more of the layered storytelling and literary influences we have, ‘No Room for Mistakes’ broadens our musical palette without losing the atmosphere that has been defining our sound. The result is a song driven by tight musicianship, expressive dynamics, and an irresistible groove. We are very happy with that result!”

BIOGRAPHY:
Cosmic Revival is a band that creates atmospheric, groove-driven art rock that moves between intensity and restraint. Their sound is built on layered instrumentation and a strong sense of narrative.
The songs unfold in an imaginative space where characters act as both symbols and stories. Drawing from literature and emotional archetypes, the music forms a world where meaning is not explained, but discovered.
Rather than aiming for immediacy, Cosmic Revival invites listeners into a sustained mood, something to return to as well as experience collectively.

Progressive instrumental metal trio 7Keys present the official music video for “Voidwalkers,” a track from their album Gæa, available now via Wormholedeath.
“Voidwalkers” draws the listener in through intricate guitar work, evocative melodies, and a compositional balance that reflects the band’s technical mastery of the genre. The track is a strong example of what Gæa delivers across its runtime: instrumental metal that is precise without being sterile, and melodic without sacrificing weight.
The story of 7Keys began with guitarist Márcio Teixeira, whose passion for heavy metal started at just six years old. Although initially considered too young to learn electric guitar, his determination remained constant. After years of self-teaching, Teixeira refined his skills under the mentorship of internationally recognised guitarist Paulo Barros. It was during this period, while performing in a musical production in Portugal, that he met bassist Igor Rodrigues, laying the foundations for what would become 7Keys.
Drawing inspiration from the melodic power and energy associated with bands such as Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold, and Iron Maiden, 7Keys have developed a sound rooted in strong identity and musical storytelling.
The album Gæa stands as a compelling statement of intent: melodic metal driven by intricate musicianship, atmospheric textures, and compositions designed to stay with the listener long after the final note. Each track opens a new chapter in the band’s evolving sonic world, balancing technical excellence with genuine emotional resonance.
Following years of relentless evolution, New York’s avant-garde black metal visionaries KRALLICE have unveiled “Living Useless Ritual”, the first single from their forthcoming full-length album “Scour Order”, set for release on September 18 via Profound Lore Records.
Serving as the first glimpse into the album’s formidable sonic landscape, “Living Useless Ritual” channels KRALLICE‘s unmistakable blend of labyrinthine riffcraft, unrelenting intensity, and fearless experimentation, offering a first taste of the dark and expansive world explored throughout “Scour Order”.
With “Scour Order”, KRALLICE return to Profound Lore Records, the label that released the band’s first three albums, while revisiting aspects of their classic dual-guitar approach in a new chapter of their ever-evolving sound.
Formed in 2007 in Woodhaven, Queens, New York City, KRALLICE began as a collaboration between guitarists Colin Marston and Mick Barr, initially conceived as a black metal recording project. Following the release of their self-titled debut in 2008 with drummer Lev Weinstein, the project quickly evolved into a full band with the addition of Nicholas McMaster on bass and vocals.
Across twenty full-length albums and EPs, KRALLICE have continuously expanded the boundaries of black metal through dense, polyphonic compositions and an uncompromising spirit of experimentation. While their early releases established the band’s signature blend of technical precision and relentless intensity, subsequent works increasingly embraced atmospheric textures, unconventional songwriting, synthesizers, and shifting instrumental roles. Beginning with “Loum” in 2017, which introduced collaborations with Dave Edwardson (NEUROSIS), and continuing through the synth-heavy, lineup-shifting explorations of “Demonic Wealth” and its successors, KRALLICE steadily broadened their sonic identity without sacrificing the complexity at the core of their sound.
Tracklist:
01. Agonal Shining 02. Grievous Corrector 03. Kill the Guardian 04. Unceasing Path 05. Living Useless Ritual 06. Indecipherable Divinities 07. Her Green Arms 08. Scour Order
For the new album, “Scour Order”, KRALLICE returns to the old instrumentation with Colin and Mick on guitars and McMaster on bass, but Colin’s vocals have stuck around. The new album is raging and dark, dense but also expansive. It marks both a return to familiar foundations and a continuation of the band’s ongoing evolution.
Coinciding with the release of “Scour Order”, KRALLICE will embark on their first European tour. Although the band has historically prioritized writing and recording over extensive touring, they have shared stages with Wolves in the Throne Room, Gorguts, Portal, Ludicra, Withered, Vampillia, Pale Chalice, and most recently Blood Incantation, while also appearing at festivals including Maryland Deathfest, Incubate, and Roadburn, where the new material received its live premiere at the 2026 edition.

“How could I have held you? How could I have kept you mine? The fairest light of all A gleam in the black”
Finland‘s undisputed masters of melancholy, INSOMNIUM, are unveiling their latest single and video, “Gleam in the Black,” offering an even deeper descent into darkness and the shadowy realms beyond. Blending haunting melodies with crushing heaviness, the track captures the essence of the band’s signature sound while exploring the emotional depths that define their upcoming album.
Niilo Sevänen (vocals, bass) comments: “Being one of the faster songs on the new album, this is a track that should get the crowd moving when played live. It definitely carries a classic INSOMNIUM spirit. The lyrics tell a dark and mysterious love story, capturing the mood and atmosphere of the entire album. We are doomed to wander the nightly woods, searching for something lost long ago, something we can reach only in our dreams. That single gleam of light amidst the blackness.”
Atmospheric, powerful, and deeply evocative, “Gleam in the Black” serves as another glimpse into the album’s haunting world, where beauty and despair walk hand in hand.
Immerse yourself in the darkness and experience the song’s captivating visual counterpart, directed and produced by Patric Ullaeus of rEvolver Film Company AB, whose cinematic vision perfectly captures the track’s bleak yet mesmerizing atmosphere:
It is the second track from their upcoming album, “Netherworlds”, that is set for a release on October 16th, 2026. The band previously released “Shadowlife (Official Video)”: https://youtu.be/i5tMCCXKkD0

Ever since emerging from the mist-shrouded city of Joensuu in the heart of North Karelia, INSOMNIUM has stood as a beacon for those drawn to melancholy, introspection, and the beauty found within darkness. Over the course of their career, the band has carved out a unique place in the metal world, crafting epic soundscapes where sorrow and hope coexist, and where haunting melodies meet the raw power of melodic death metal.
Now, for the tenth time, INSOMNIUM opens the door to a new chapter. Their new album is a journey deeper into the shadows, steeped in the unmistakable spirit of Finnish melancholy and enriched by the band’s most nuanced and emotionally resonant songwriting to date. Sweeping atmospheres, poignant melodies, and crushing heaviness intertwine to create a work that is both deeply personal and universally affecting.
Never content to rest on past achievements or repeat familiar formulas, INSOMNIUM continues to evolve with each release. Rather than revisiting established ground, the band explores new emotional and sonic territories, broadening its artistic palette while preserving the qualities that have made its sound instantly recognizable. The result is an album that feels both fresh and timeless: a bold step forward that remains unmistakably INSOMNIUM at its core.
Behind the scenes, “Netherworlds” also marks the beginning of a new production era for INSOMNIUM. Taking on a pivotal role throughout the album’s creation, producer and engineer Miiro Varjus emerged as the band’s closest creative confidant, helping to shape and refine the record’s sonic landscape. His meticulous approach and deep understanding of the band’s artistic vision proved instrumental in bringing the album’s dark, immersive atmosphere to life.
Once again INSOMNIUM entrusted the album to the renowned team at Fascination Street Studios. Acclaimed producer and mixer Jens Bogren, together with mastering engineer Tony Lindgren, delivered the album’s powerful final sound. The result is a record that sounds both majestic and intimate, perfectly capturing the emotional weight and dynamic range that define this new chapter in INSOMNIUM‘s evolution.

Cult icon, actress, designer, and longtime horror favorite SHERI MOON ZOMBIE expands her creative universe today with the release of her debut single and music video, ‘I Love My Robot.’ Helmed by acclaimed producer Zeuss and accompanied by a video directed by ROB ZOMBIE, the track blends retro sci-fi, playful camp, and infectious hooks into an irresistibly offbeat anthem that is unmistakably SHERI.
Equal parts tongue-in-cheek and surprisingly timely, ‘I Love My Robot‘ offers a witty take on life in an increasingly algorithm-driven world. Beneath its infectious energy and B-movie charm, the song celebrates imagination, individuality, and the simple joy of thinking for yourself. It’s a playful reminder that while technology may make life easier, nothing can replace genuine creativity or human connection.
Coinciding with today’s release, Nuclear Blast has launched pre-orders for an exclusive 12-inch picture disc featuring ‘I Love My Robot‘ on Side A and Rob Zombie’s ‘Sir Lord Acid Wolfman‘ on Side B. Limited to just 600 copies worldwide (500 US / 100 EU), the one-time pressing is scheduled for release on October 30, making it an essential collector’s item for fans of the Zombie universe.
