THE QUILL release the single and video “Broken Man”.
The song is taken from the re-release of the long out-of-print and much sought-after 2006 studio album ‘In Triumph’ which will be released on 18 April on Metalville Records.
The new version of “In Triumph” also contains an unreleased bonus track from the recording sessions at the time.
The album was recorded in collaboration with producer Tommy Newton (Helloween and UFO) at Area 51 Studios in Celle, near Hanover, Germany.
Various concerts followed, with the band headlining a short European tour, as well as a series of European festivals, culminating in another appearance at Sweden Rock.
‘In Triumph’ is also THE QUILL’s first album with new bassist Robert Triches, who replaced Roger Nielsson until 2012, and the last for the time being with singer Magnus Ekwall, who only returned to the band in 2017.

Ahead of its release this Friday on the twisted Time To Kill Records roster, today No Clean Singing presents an exclusive stream of “Wyrd”, the third LP from CRAWLING CHAOS.
“Wyrd” is set for release on March 28th, 2025 and promises to be a pivotal moment in the band’s journey, strengthening their presence within the melodic death metal scene.
“Wyrd” is an anthology-based work centered around a series of archetypes connected to the concepts of destiny, fate, and becoming. In Northern European culture, these ideas are encapsulated in the term wyrd, contrasting with notions of free will and self-determination.
The central theme is developed across the album’s ten tracks, following a narrative thread that weaves together some of the most fascinating female figures from classical mythology, European folklore, and history. These include the Norse Norns, the witches from Macbeth serving Hecate, the Greco-Roman Furies, and the fearsome Thessalian necromancers. As in the band’s previous works, “Wyrd” is filled with literary references and Easter eggs, offering subtle nods to the most curious listeners.
Musically, CRAWLING CHAOS achieves further evolution with “Wyrd”, crafting a blend of groovy and melodic death metal that balances intricate technical flourishes with a strong focus on the classic concept of riff and song. The sound is polished yet retains raw power, showcasing the band’s roots while pushing their sonic boundaries. This refined approach highlights their attention to songwriting, creating a powerful and authentic experience that bridges their older background with a modern and dynamic edge.

CRAWLING CHAOS is a death metal band formed in Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. In January 2009, the band released its first EP of original songs, “Goatsuckers”. Although the EP received numerous positive reviews from the underground metal press, it was mainly intended as a promotional appetizer. In the following years, the band immersed itself in writing new material. In December 2012, they recorded their first full-length album, “Repellent Gastronomy”, at Domination Studio. Produced and mixed by Simone Mularoni, the album was released in November 2013 via Memorial Records.
In November 2020, CRAWLING CHAOS released their second full-length album, “XLIX”, a concept album inspired by Machiavelli’s notorious treatise The Prince. The album, once again produced by Simone Mularoni, was released via Time to Kill Records. Following the great reception of “XLIX”, praised by numerous international metal webzines and magazines, the band joined the roster of K2 Music Management.
Between 2013 and 2023, CRAWLING CHAOS performed dozens of gigs across Italy and Europe, sharing the stage with international acts such as Suffocation, The Monolith Deathcult, Havok, Skeletonwitch, Imperial Triumphant, Hideous Divinity, Nero di Marte, Dark Lunacy, and more.
In December 2023, the band returned to the studio to record their third full-length album, “Wyrd”, an anthology inspired by the role of feminine figures in European mythology and their connection to the concepts of fate and free will.

Recorded at the Artrock Festival 2022, the album brings the atmospheric ambience of the concert directly to the fans’ homes. At its core lies the live performance of their acclaimed debut concept album “Sonic Birth” in its entirety, which unfolds its power in this live rendition.
The band plays with precision and passion. Lead vocalist Vladimir Lalic mesmerizes the audience with his vocal strength and commanding stage presence. Exul and the 10th anniversary remastered version of Ne Obliviscaris’ monumental second album Citadel are now available on Season of Mist.
Even after this tour ends, Ne Obliviscaris aren’t done bringing chaos and carnage to the Americas. Come May, the band are performing three special shows in Mexico. This sprint includes a stop at Guadalajar’s The Metal Fest, plus two headlining dates in Monterrey and Mexico City, where they’ll perform Exul and Citadel in full.

“Spirit of Gravity” is the brooding new single from Italian funeral death doom entity TETRAMORPHE IMPURE. The track, now streaming exclusively at Mystification Zine, is the latest preview preceding the project’s imposing debut LP, “The Sunset of Being”, due out April 18th 2025 via Aesthetic Death.
Hailing from the Alpine north of Italy, TETRAMORPHE IMPURE is the creation of Damien, an experienced musician and former member of Mortuary Drape. After a series of underground releases, TETRAMORPHE IMPURE emerge from years of dormancy to bring forth its first full-length creation. Melding the profound weight of funeral doom, old school death metal and early doom-death. Monolithic and crushing in it’s sonic core, “The Sunset of Being” brings forth vast soundscapes draped in despondent, shuddering riffwork.
Both nostalgic and reflective in its essence, TETRAMORPHE IMPURE create a brooding, despondent atmosphere, evoking the spirit of the early 90’s through the lens of funeral death doom and old school death metal.
As Damien explains, “…this album is a procession through darker corners of human experience. We intend to submerge the listener in a meditative state where they can reflect on the transient nature of existence, its desolation and dread. Work on these songs has taken over two years, with a focus on intentionally capturing the right feel and atmosphere in each moment. I would spend days experimenting with sounds until every passage had the raw intensity that I was aiming for. Bands like Decomposed, Disembowelment, Dusk, Evoken, Mournful Congregation, and Esoteric have left a big mark on my way of making music. Yet the inspiration of bands such as Dead Can Dance (especially ‘Within the Realm of a Dying Sun’) and Swans, plus being a huge fan of early Swedish and Finnish death metal – Demigod, Demilich, Convulse, Abhorrence, Gorement, Crematory, etc – are quite evident in our new album, adding a contrasting and primal edge to the sound.”
