Brazilian thrash metallers DEATHGEIST have revealed the meaning behind “Underworld,” their new album due out March 27. According to the band, “Underworld” is a journey exploring the darkest themes of human existence from the judgment of the dead in the Egyptian underworld to the manipulation and control of the human mind.
The lyrics blend mythology, fantasy and reality, creating a dark and immersive universe that perfectly matches the band’s sharp-edged, uncompromising thrash attack.
Leith native DELBHOY KENNEDY has coined the genre Future Nostalgia — harbouring the past in his bones, the future in his boots, and a chorus within big enough to birth a symphony of vocal supporters.
Recent nationwide sell out support tours with Tom Meighan, Peter Doherty, Dodgy & a run of wild nights in Dublin with Irish renegades KNEECAP have opened the floodgates to a dedicated fanbase & high profile supporters, including Chris Hawkins of BBC 6 Music — a station built on the curiosity of cult heroes.
Managed by Manchester based Broken Wing Club, the team turned to seasoned producer Nick Brine, the man who’s fingerprints graced classic albums by Oasis, The Stone Roses, Teenage Fanclub. ‘Delbhoy’ subsequently signed to the record his label FLIP FLOP Records & is set for his debut single ‘Sky’s The Limit‘ release 3rd April 2026.
Delbhoy Kennedy “Sky’s The Limit” the moment the horizon cracks open. Recorded at the iconic ROCKFIELD STUDIOS by legendary producer NICK BRINE & laced with guitar lines from AZIZ IBRAHIM that shimmer like heat off tarmac, together, they help Delbhoy turn a song into a skyline.
French modern-rock artist Laura Cox returns with a brand-new, previously unheard single, “Not Your Story,” out now via earMUSIC / veryrecords. Released in the middle of her current tour, the track delivers a relentless surge of raw rock energy – a fresh chapter that continues the spirit of her acclaimed album “Trouble Coming” while revealing a darker, more urgent edge.
Driven by a ticking, clock-like rhythm that dictates the pulse of the song, “Not Your Story” unfolds with a sense of constant tension. Click by click, the track builds into a gritty, guitar-heavy rock anthem with unmistakable 90s-tinged attitude – sharp riffs, pounding drums and Laura Cox’s unmistakable voice cutting straight through the noise.
Lyrically, the song dives into the maze of ambition, pressure, and identity. It captures the moment when chasing someone else’s dream becomes a trap – a place where the line between aspiration and obsession begins to blur. With lines that challenge the listener to question the path they’re on, “Not Your Story” becomes both a warning and a wake-up call: if the dream isn’t yours, what’s the point of chasing it?

Italian groove metal band RUNOVER unveil their new single “Judgement Day”, available on all digital platforms from Thursday, March 12, 2026.
The new single was created in collaboration with SIW – Superior Italian Wrestling and was specifically written for Giorno del Giudizio, scheduled for March 29, 2026 at Teatro Cartiere Carrara in Florence.
The band comment: “We can’t wait to hear our music echo through the arena as the fans take their seats, the wrestlers warm up backstage and the hosts ignite the crowd ready to witness the biggest wrestling event of the year”.
With Judgement Day, RUNOVER bring the full power of their modern groove metal straight to the ring and the audience, just like the energy of the wrestlers spreading through the packed arena during the Day of Judgement. It will be a spectacular show!
The song was recorded and produced at the renowned Domination Studio by Simone Mularoni (DGM, Wind Rose, Symphony X, Trick Or Treat), showcasing the band’s musical identity with clarity and force.
Active since 2010, RUNOVER deliver a distinctive blend of powerful groove metal forged through years of intense live activity. Over the years the band has shared the stage with international heavyweights such as Black Label Society, The Darkness, Testament and Sepultura, building a strong reputation as a formidable live act. Their musical evolution spans from the raw and aggressive debut “Feel The Anger” (2012) to the more mature and layered sounds of their latest work, driven by the powerful title track “The Wall” (2024).
The collaboration between RUNOVER and SIW began after two SIW athletes appeared in the music video for The Wall, the title track of the band’s latest EP. Following that experience, the idea was born to create a song specifically designed for one of the federation’s most important events.
Swedish folk metal force Grimner return with thunder and fury as they unveil their new single “Träldomens Far”, out today, March 13 via Despotz Records — the first glimpse of their upcoming fifth full-length album Stormvingar, to be released 4th of September, 2026.
Lyrically, “Träldomens Far”(“The Father of Thraldom”) presents a faithful yet distinctive retelling of a classic Old Norse poem. The song brings ancient myth to life through Grimner’s signature storytelling — breathing new energy into the sagas of the North. Musically, the track is a groovy heavy-hitter packed with catchy melodies, crushing riffs, and a mighty chorus worthy of the shining Aesir.
After nearly four years of silence, Grimner returns to the realm of Midgård with renewed strength. With new blood in their ranks and the iconic voice of returning member Marcus Asplund Brattberg, the band conjures the power of a storm-torn ocean, heralding a new chapter in their saga. The upcoming album Stormvingar promises a full folk metal journey inspired by Swedish folklore and Grimner’s own interpretation of Norse mythology. Their sound continues to blend the aggression of old-school melodic death metal with Nordic folk traditions, alongside elements of classic heavy and power metal — a fusion that has become Grimner’s unmistakable trademark.
The album also sees the addition of brothers Anton Elowson and Axel Elowson, who bring fresh energy and musicianship to the band’s evolving sound.
The band comments:
“Our latest album, ‘Stormvingar’, has reignited a flame in us all, burning a path toward the future while at times taking us back to our roots. We are incredibly excited to unleash this beast of a record!” “As always, we have given everything we have to bring this album to life, and working with Ulf Blomberg of HoboRec Studio for the first time, we couldn’t be happier with the result. We feel that we’ve created something truly special!”
Stormvingar was recorded and mixed by Ulf Blomberg at HoboRec Studio and mastered by Gina Wiklund. The album artwork was created by Julien Bauer, with band photography by Alexandra Petersen. With “Träldomens Far”, Grimner once again sounds the Gjallarhorn — inviting listeners to join their stormbound journey through myth, melody, and metal. Sound the horn and spread the saga far and wide.
