Finnish rockers SHIRAZ LANE are pleased to unveil their new single and official visualizer video “Bullshit”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.

The band will be touring in the upcoming months, performing in Tampere (FI) on April 18th with support from Block Of Flats, and appearing at Wildfest in Belgium on May 24th.

In June, Shiraz Lane will perform at the Lisää Löylyä Festival in Finland, before embarking on a UK tour, with support from XIII Doors, starting on June 19th in Bornemouth, and wrapping up on June 27th in Wanclockhead. More dates will follow after the summer.

Stream “Bullshit” HERE

The band commented: “Our second single, Bullshit, dives deep into a hypothetical future of Orwellian dystopia along with the degeneration of society. The song carries a strong message about cutting through deception, hypocrisy and provokes debate on the current direction of the modern world”.

“The creative approach in the soundscape and production of Bullshit expands our sonic boundaries and elevates the means of our expression on another level. Bullshit will prove to be a cornerstone of the upcoming album and a fundamental piece of music that will surely stand the test of time”, they added.

Hailing from Vantaa, Finland, Shiraz Lane started their musical journey in 2011. Their vision of a perfect blend of sonic combustion and elegant delicacy started to blossom and reach its potential when the current line-up was solidified in 2014 and the band released their first EP “Be The Slave Or Be The Change”.

The band gained great international attention from the very beginning, and soon the young Finns
were flying from Japan to South America, playing in Europe’s coolest clubs & summer festivals and had their warm first contact also with the US audience on the Monsters of Rock cruise.

Shiraz Lane resonates through their double-edged guitar sound (provided by Jani Laine and Miki
Kalske), percussive ground-pounding clockwork (Ana Willman, drums & Joel Alex, bass) and the
supersonic melodies chanted by lead singer Hannes Kett. They are one of the most intriguing and entertaining bands in the current Hard Rock scene, bringing in a fresh breeze in terms of both compositions and live performance.

In addition to their debut EP, other most notable releases include the albums “For Crying Out Loud”, “Carnival Days”, “Vibration I”, “Forgotten Shades Of Life” and “Acoustic Archives’’.

Although wearing inspiration and paying homage to their predecessors, the sound and style of Shiraz Lane is unique, bold and contemporary. This has manifested in collaborations such as extensive international touring (sharing stages with bands such as KISS, Deep Purple, H.E.A.T & Crashdïet), national TV appearances, the gaming world and, most importantly, an exponentially growing & dedicated fanbase around the world.

Line Up:
Hannes Kett – Vocals
Jani Laine – Guitar
Miki Kalske – Guitar
Joel Alex – Bass

NASCITURUS Unleash New Single ‘O Czudca powstaniu’ from Upcoming Debut Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on April 10, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: NASCITURUS. Leave a comment

Nasciturus is a post/sludge metal band founded in 2011, reactivated in 2020 as a result of the fascination with black metal, traditional polish music and local folk fairy tales. Maintained in the convention of a power trio, the band is trying to introduce its own form to the black metal tradition – dressed in lyrics based on an old local stories and legends. In 2021, Nasciturus recorded the first live demo “Faber ferrarius“, in 2023 two songs from the demo were included in the compilation “Outsider Metal Kompilace (Scény Slezských Jurodivců)“.

The time has come to show raw and dinginess of black metal!

“Fabulae” is an album created out of devotion to local stories, in particular the legends and tales of the Beskid Mountains. Musically, it circulates between genres, staying in none for long, but always fitting the definition of black metal. The texts are inspired by more or less fantastic events – they are mainly based on stories collected and edited by Andrzej Potocki. Three instruments, three voices, seven poems, seven songs – recorded and produced as organically as possible, so that the atmosphere of uniqueness accompanies each listening session.

Debut album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Dominik Cynar at Dirty Sound Studio. The album features two guests: Michał Barszcz (solo in “Pomirki“) and Łukasz Sarkowicz (solo in “Pokuta“). Cover artwork and inside graphics was done by Rafał „Czarnuch” Chruścicki. Graphic design by Jakub Dyrkacz. “Fabulae” will be released April 30, 2025 in digital format and jewelcase CD by Polish label Via Nocturna (pre-order here)

TRACKLIST:

1. Pomirki
2. Ogniem uzdrowion
3. Potrójnie przez ziemię wypluty
4. O Czudca powstaniu
5. Pieklisko we Wróblowej
6. Silva Populo
7. Pokuta

Listen to the song “O Czudca powstaniu“:

LINE-UP:

Rafał „Czarnuch” Chruścicki (Kalt Vindur, Wesele, ex-Pandrador) – vocal, drums, synths

MÜTTERLEIN Unveil Second Single ‘Wounded Grace’ from Upcoming Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on April 10, 2025
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: MÜTTERLEIN. Leave a comment

Preceding the release of MÜTTERLEIN‘s third full-length album, “Amidst the Flames, May Our Organs Resound“, the solo project of French composer Marion Leclercq (ex-OVERMARS) unveils a second new offering. ‘Wounded Grace‘ is a haunting convergence of sinister melodies and crushing intensity, steeped in unrelenting tension.

Marion narrates:

“‘Wounded Grace‘ was written during a time when I was reflecting on the pain endured by women, especially those who have been victims of violence and assault. The song speaks to the deep, silent suffering of those whose pain is often ignored, whose voices are silenced. When I refer to ‘faceless sisters’, I’m thinking of the countless women whose experiences are erased, forgotten, or dismissed.

I am still deeply shocked by how the voices of survivors are treated, particularly in my country. It feels like society is quick to silence them, to question their truth, or to diminish their pain. This song was born from that shock and the frustration of witnessing this systemic disregard.

The composition of the track was raw and emotional, reflecting the grief, but also the quiet strength that remains in the face of such violence. It’s about how grace is shattered, but how, despite everything, something endures. I didn’t set out to make a grand statement, but I felt this song was important because it captures both the trauma and the resilience of women who are too often left unheard.“

Find all info about the album here!

“Amidst the Flames, May Our Organs Resound” will be released on CD, vinyl (including an exclusive DMP vinyl variant) and digital on May 9th. A special t-shirt design will accompany the launch. Pre-orders are possible via DMP’s EU, US, and Bandcamp shops.

MÜTTERLEIN is the solo project of Marion Leclercq (ex-OVERMARS), composer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist.

Adopted in 2014, this pseudonym is a nod to the nightmarish yet fragile work of NICO, who in many ways deconstructed the unbearable myth of ‘femininity’ imposed on us.

Musically, MÜTTERLEIN mixes Post-Punk savagery, Doom, Noise, Industrial and Black Metal to create a vast universe of Post-Metal experimentation.

First album, “Orphans Of The Black Sun” – released in 2016 on Sundust Records, a label co-run by Vindsval from BLUT AUS NORD – leaned towards the Post-Punk and Doom registers using minimalist, cold instrumentation to create a record organic and ritualistic as a witch-dance around a fire.

In 2020, MÜTTERLEIN responded to an invitation by the artist LIMBES (ex-BLURR THROWER) to create a mirror piece to his epic 25 minute track entitled “Vérité” (French for Truth) for a split release issued in 2021 by LADLO. The free format allowed MÜTTERLEIN to experiment even further, constructing a slow, desolate dreamscape of doom-laden Dark Ambient.

“Bring Down The Flags“, MÜTTERLEIN‘s second album, was released in late 2021 by Debemur Morti Productions. Dark, haunting and immediate, the album incorporated more electronic sounds and blackened Industrial atmospheres to serve a more direct subject and voice.

After a couple of years performing both solo and alongside TREHA SEKTORI following the release of “Bring Down The Flags“, Marion helped forge a new entity, EITRIN, in collaboration with Dehn Sora (THROANE, TREHA SEKTORI) and Vindsval (BLUT AUS NORD). The alliance was conceived to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Debemur Morti Productions, with an instinctive and impassioned self-titled debut album released in December 2023. As a crowning moment, both MÜTTERLEIN and EITRIN graced the stage at the label’s own Servants of Chaos festival in October 2024.

In early 2025, MÜTTERLEIN unveiled plans for a third album, “Amidst the Flames, May Our Organs Resound“, a work that delves into the profound scars left by oppression throughout history. Anchored by an abrasive and darkly cinematic industrial soundscape, “Amidst the Flames…” is set to be released on May 9th.

Band To Celebrate 40th Anniversary Of Delirious Nomad With Limited Edition Dean Guitar, Special Live Sets, And More!

Following two festival performances – Bangers Open Air in São Paulo, Brazil and Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus, Ohio respectively – heavy metal icons ARMORED SAINT will enter the studio next month to begin recording their long-awaited ninth studio album, tentatively slated for a Spring 2026 release through Metal Blade Records.

In September, the band will join W.A.S.P. for a trio of UK shows before returning to the States to support legendary guitarist Michael Schenker on his My Years With UFO US Tour. ARMORED SAINT will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of their second album, Delirious Nomad, with a five-song micro set of songs from the record throughout the tour.

To further commemorate the cornerstone record, the band is making available a special Delirious Nomad wrapped guitar from Dean Guitars. Each guitar is signed by the band. Presales will be announced in the coming week.

In the meantime, check out additional Delirious Nomad merch items at: metalblade.indiemerch.com

Elaborates vocalist John Bush, “What up, Saints? We want to give you all a heads up with what’s happening with us this year. First, we’ve been writing songs for the upcoming new record, and we are just about done! We are going into 606 Studios next month to record drums for five songs. The plan still stands for an early Spring 2026 release. We have two rad festivals dates in May: Bangers Open Air and Sonic Temple Festival. Then we’ll be joining our friends, W.A.S.P., for three shows in Britain in September which includes Newcastle where we’ve never played and London at the Eventim Apollo — formerly the legendary Hammersmith Odeon. We are psyched!

“Then we’ll do nine more shows in the US in October with one of the best rock guitar players to ever walk the earth: Michael Schenker. We will be doing something special on these particular dates. In conjunction with the 40th anniversary of Delirious Nomad, we will be playing micro sets from that record. We’ll play other classic SAINT tunes as well of course!

“Finally, we will do three headlining shows at the end of this tour in El Paso, Texas, where we haven’t played since 1984, Las Vegas, Nevada, and at the infamous Glass House for the first time ever in Pomona, California. Lots on the plate. Thanks for all the love as always.”
