WHITECHAPEL Release New Video for ‘Hate Cult Ritual’

WHITECHAPEL is pleased to present their latest video for “Hate Cult Ritual.” The punishing track comes off the band’s long-awaited new full-length, Hymns In Dissonance, out now on Metal Blade Records!

Hymns in Dissonance sees the band reinventing themselves, going darker, deeper, and heavier than ever before. “We attempted to write our heaviest album to date,” says guitarist Alex Wade. “We wanted to put out something that was shockingly menacing and brutal.“

Watch / stream WHITECHAPEL’s “Hate Cult Ritual” HERE

Of “Hate Cult Ritual,” Bozeman notes, “The sin of wrath: this song portrays the overwhelming rage of the cult. Planting the seed of evil within the core of the earth to be birthed from soil. All the rivers and oceans are diseased which nourishes their unborn lord, roaming the earth and murdering all opposers.”

Adds Wade, “I was inspired a lot by Bloodbath when writing this one and felt like Phil nailed the vibe vocally contributing to that. There is a ferocity and evilness to this track that I think really sets it apart from the rest. No breakdowns, just pummeling riffs with evil chanting over the choruses.”

WHITECHAPEL, who formed in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2006, has seen the core lineup – vocalist Phil Bozeman, guitarists Ben Savage, Zach Householder, and Alex Wade, and bassist Gabe Crisp – intact since 2007, with the exception of drummer Brandon Zackey, who has been playing with the band since 2022. While Hymns In Dissonance follows 2021’s Kin chronologically, the new album is actually somewhat of a sequel to This Is Exile thematically, the three-word title Hymns In Dissonance representing that correlation.

The band started composing the new album at Householder’s studio in June of 2023, following their headlining tour for The Valley. The collective stuck to a strict weekday schedule, the structure allowing for maximum creativity and minimum burnout. Householder produced Hymns In Dissonance, which allowed the musicians to seamlessly switch gears from preproduction to recording the full album without skipping a beat. The guitarist shadowed producer Mark Lewis a lot over the last five WHITECHAPEL albums and bringing that influence inside the band is a full circle moment for Householder and WHITECHAPEL.

Hymns In Dissonance features cover art by European tattoo artist Rob Borbas (Grind Design).

ANGELIC FOE Unveil Mystical Lyric Video for ‘Bless The Charm’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on March 10, 2025

Symphonic darkwave alchemists ANGELIC FOE have conjured a mesmerizing lyric video for “Bless The Charm,” a spellbinding single from their critically lauded album Amulets and Charms (WormHoleDeath Records).

Bathed in lunar mystique and arcane symbolism, the video channels the track’s primal energy—a sonic ritual of protection, transformation, and unseen forces.

The track weaves Annmari Thim’s haunting vocals with Fredrik Hermansson’s brooding orchestral tapestries, crafting a hymn to the sacred and the sublime. Lyrics evoke moonlit purification, whispered intent, and the forging of charms through fire—a metaphor for the band’s own alchemical fusion of darkness and light.

This song is a vessel. It’s about binding the intangible to the eternal, much like how music itself becomes a talisman for the soul.

The album—a nine-track odyssey through myth and shadow—solidifies Angelic Foe’s reign at the crossroads of neoclassical grandeur and darkwave allure. Layers of viola (Björn Jönsson), percussive intensity (Mattias Borgh), and searing guitars (Jhonny Göransson) merge with Hermansson’s cinematic arrangements, while Léo Margarit’s mixing and Magnus Devo Andersson’s mastering elevate the work to a realm of crystalline darkness.

Heavy metal force TERRA NULLIUS proudly presents the music video for “Jelek az út szélén” a powerful track from their album “Magam bajnoka”, out now via Wormholedeath.

More than a simple ode to the open road, this song is a profound metaphorical exploration of life’s journey. Using the universal language of motorcycle culture, the band draws a compelling parallel between road navigation and life’s complex pathways, illustrating how spoken and unspoken rules shape our experiences and determine our destinations.

‘Jelek az út szélén’ (Signs on the roadside) is not just a song about riding. It’s a musical narrative that challenges listeners to reflect on the signs we encounter, ignore, or choose to follow in our personal and collective journeys.

Terra Nullius was born out of a shared vision to push the boundaries of musical expression. Founded by Sztancsik, the band welcomed vocalist András Baksa, guitarist Levente Nika, cellist Mátyás Hotzi, and bassist Tamás Éber into its ranks, forming a powerhouse lineup that captivates audiences worldwide.

Since its inception, Terra Nullius has garnered acclaim for its dynamic performances and innovative approach to music. With the support of Wormholedeath Records, the band is poised to reach new heights and captivate audiences across South America, the USA, Europe, and Japan.
