Norwegian experimental shapeshifters ULVER have released their critically lauded 13th studio album, Liminal Animals, on limited edition vinyl variants and CD.
French high-voltage rockers OVERDRIVERS are celebrating the release of their much-acclaimed, new album “Glory Or Nothing”! The band’s third studio album is out now on ROAR and available on CD, Vinyl and in Digital formats at: https://overdrivers.rpm.link/glorypr
In support of “Glory Or Nothing”, the band will not only embark on an extensive release tour kicking off this month (find all dates listed below), but have also just shared a new music video for the aptly-titled, album opening track “Kings of the Road”:
Since 2015, OVERDRIVERS has been tearing through the Northern Lands like a runaway freight train. Born from nowhere and fueled by pure rock rebellion, these four hard-hitting rockers bring the kind of thunder only cranked-up Marshall amps can deliver. With their amps on blast, they claimed every stage in their path, quickly earning a reputation for leaving chaos — and converted fans—behind them.
Once they’d conquered every inch of their homeland, the band set their sights on broader horizons, unleashing their electric storm on Spain and beyond. With relentless shows, OVERDRIVERS brought their raw, headbanging energy to rock lovers everywhere, proving that in the face of their All-Powerful Rock’N’Roll, resistance is futile!
Armed with a series of explosive releases—Rockin’ Hell (2016), She’s On Her Period (2018), and the Rock Out! EP—the band rallied thousands of followers and forged an unbreakable army of die-hard fans. Now, OVERDRIVERS has unleashed their most powerful weapon yet: “Glory Or Nothing”! This new album is set to drop like a bombshell, reigniting their worldwide crusade and solidifying their place as a force in modern rock. Brace yourself and get ready to rock: OVERDRIVERS are here — louder, fiercer, and more unstoppable than ever!

After the release of their fourth full-length record Nuklearth in 2020, the nuclear quintet Cytotoxin strike back with their fifth full-length Biographyte. The band continue their blast of a musical and lyrical concept, tackling the catastrophic incident at the Chernobyl power plant in 1986. The new offering will be released on 11th April, 2025.
Cytotoxin have now released the title track of the album which comes again in the form of an official music video.
The band comment on the single: “The title track itself reflects the situation of firefighters collecting graphite bricks on the night of the explosion, suffering irreversible damage to their skin and bodies—often resulting in fatalities. This scene is depicted in the album artwork, which portrays a liquidator carrying the weight of the reactor on his back. Biographyte also showcases the slamming and groovier side of Cytotoxin. The song, written in a Phrygian dominant scale, further ties back to the desert-themed album artwork.”
Cytotoxin have recently announced brand new EU/UK tour dates for April and May this year, together with Gutalax (on selected dates), Acranius, Necrotted and Osiah. A full list of confirmed shows can be found below.

On the night of 26th April, 1986 an explosion at the Chernobyl power plant changed the course of the world.
Inspired by this catastrophe, the German death metal band Cytotoxin emerged in 2010, bringing a new level of intensity to the genre. By fusing technical and brutal riffs while thematizing the devastating effects of the reactor disaster, they quickly drew attention in the scene. Their debut album, Plutonium Heaven (2011), was a self-produced powerhouse, followed by their second record, Radiophobia (2012), which secured them a three-album deal with American label Unique Leader Records.
Cytotoxin quickly gained a reputation for their explosive live performances and razor-sharp precision on their instruments. Their third album, Gammageddon (2017), solidified their place in the tech death community, while their fourth album, Nuklearth (2020), showcased their versatility and songwriting capabilities. Following numerous European tours and major festival shows, Cytotoxin just made their U.S. and Canadian debut in November 2024.
With their new record, Cytotoxin explore their roots and takes listeners on a journey through the radiated wasteland of Pripyat. Biographyte dedicates each song to a memorable location, thus narrating the biographical story of the tragic catastrophe in 1986 and those who were affected. Symbolically depicted in the cover artwork, humanity is doomed to carry the consequences of the reactor disaster with it for eternity.
Keep your gas mask ready, as the radiation spreads across the globe!

Following the release of his sophomore studio album, Eye(released in 2023 via Supernatural Cat Records HEREand on Bandcamp HERE!), THE MON – the solo project of Ufomammut’s Urlo, presents his new song entitled “Major Arcana”. The stand-alone single is out now on all digital streaming services, and is accompanied by an incredible visualizer video clip, that is premiering below!
“Over the past years, Malleus, the artistic collective I am part of, has created a series of silkscreen prints dedicated to the Tarot’s Major Arcana, a long and intense journey of reimagining these mystical figures,” Urlo comments.
“Inspired by this series (https://www.malleusdelic.com/home/tarots/), I composed Major Arcana, a track that unfolds like a ritual—layering voices and synths into a meditative rise before erupting into waves of guitar-driven intensity. Rooted in ambient and drone textures, it seeks to channel the esoteric power of the Tarot, their deep connection to our existence, and the four elements that shape our world.
This track marks the completion of the Malleusdelic Major Arcana cycle while opening the door to a year of new projects with The Mon. The videoclip takes you on a journey through the world crafted by Malleus, bringing their vision to life.”
“Major Arcana” artwork by Malleus Rock Art Lab
THE MON is the solo project by Urlo, best known as the lead vocalist, bassist, and synth player in the heavy psych italian band Ufomammut and one of the three minds behind the poster art trio Malleus Rock Art Lab. Where Ufomammut creates mind-expanding, heavy psychedelic, almost other-dimensional sounds, THE MON by comparison is far more intimate, looking inward, as Urlo explores and examines his inner most thoughts through music.
THE MON builds layers of brooding sounds which sometimes unfurl at a glacial pace and other times lurch with rhythmic propulsion, each piece distinct, densely packed, and all-consuming in their evocative atmospheres. The aim is to reach the boundaries of a spiritual soundscape in which the music becomes purification and atonement, a way to bring out the world that is inside human soul. THE MON‘s sound is a journey through the mind and a personal discovery of the relation between evil and good.
That starts from the name THE MON (to be kept together) – like ‘Demon,’ but also like ‘the Monk” or, in Japanese language ” gate” (often used in referring to the many gates used by Buddhist temples, Shinto shrines and traditional-style buildings and castles) — to reach landscapes of sound that enable the listener to enter into different levels of consciousness in a cathartic way.
Female-fronted melodic prog metal powerhouse Diamantide unveils the captivating music video for “Poor Kings”, a standout track from their self-titled album, Diamantide, available now via Wormholedeath Records.
Blending poetic storytelling with their signature dynamic sound, “Poor Kings” dives deep into the symbolic parallels between kings and queens, exploring themes of power, love, and vulnerability. The track’s evocative lyrics challenge the cold pursuit of authority, questioning why kings, burdened by dominance, fail to fight for the love of their queens, who represent longing and emotional depth. With its thought-provoking narrative and haunting melodies, “Poor Kings” captures the heartbreaking cost of isolation and detachment, creating a profound commentary on the human condition.
Diamantide’s music stands as a remarkable fusion of progressive, melodic, and power metal. The self-titled album features standout guest contributions from Tom Englund (Evergrey), Mark Basile (DGM), and Roberto Tiranti, whose performances add extraordinary depth to the band’s already intricate and emotionally resonant sound.
Don’t miss the chance to immerse yourself in Diamantide – an album that masterfully balances intensity with melodic sophistication while delivering a poignant exploration of life’s complexities.
Formed in September 2023 in the San Francisco Bay Area, Diamantide was born from a long-awaited vision brought to life by guitarist, main composer, and producer Massimiliano (Max) Maggiari. The band’s distinct sound blends heavy guitars, orchestral elements, and deeply melodic vocals, creating an experience that is both grand and introspective. A project marked by international collaboration, Diamantide brings together talented musicians from around the world, each with unique musical experiences and stories.
The line-up includes: Nadin Zakharyan — Vocals Massimiliano (Max) Maggiari — Guitars & Keyboards Alex Sandor Tamas — Bass Joe Londeree — Drums
