Elevate Records is proud to announce the signing of Lenity Lake, a four-piece from Italy whose sound sits at the crossroads of prog metal, post-prog and alternative metal, enriched by broad melodic sensibilities and an uncompromising approach to songwriting.
Formed in 2021, the band brings together voices from several well-known acts in the Italian underground scene: vocalist Elisabetta Furlanetto, bassist Gianpaolo Falanga (Ashent, Order of Minerva), guitarist Onofrio Falanga (Starsick System, Ashent) and drummer Paolo Ongaro (Quanah Parker). From the outset, Lenity Lake set out to merge their diverse backgrounds into something that defies easy categorisation — favouring emotional directness over genre conventions.
Their debut EP Libra (2024) laid the foundations: four tracks released across individual singles, each accompanied by a video, and produced by Sebastian Sendon — known for his work with Bleed From Within and Hopes Die Last, and as collaborator of Adam “Nolly” Getgood (Periphery, Sleep Token, Haken). Drums and vocals were handled by Ivan Moni Bidin at his Artesonika Recording Studio, a name familiar to followers of Starsick System, Pathosray and Gardenwall.
The band spent 2025 writing and recording their first full-length album — nine tracks that build on the sonic blueprint of Libra while pushing further into new territory. We will be releasing the debut album in November 2026, preceded by the first single in October.
SCARLET AURA releases “Amintirile”, the second single from the band’s upcoming Romanian-language album, “Pe Aripile Vântului.” The new song continues the artistic direction introduced by the album’s title track and brings forward a deeply emotional story about the people, places and moments that remain with us, regardless of the passage of time.
“Amintirile” speaks about bonds that never disappear, the moments that shaped us and the way the past continues to accompany us. It is a song about longing, gratitude and the strength to move forward without losing what was truly important.
“Some moments pass, but they never truly leave us. They remain in the way we love, in the choices we make and in the people we become. ‘Amintirile’ is dedicated to everyone who carries in their heart a person, a place or a moment that time could not erase,” says Aura Dănciulescu.
The song was composed by Aura Dănciulescu and Dan Lica Shmaness, with lyrics written by Aura Dănciulescu. It was recorded and produced by Mihai Dănciulescu at Silver City Studio, where the musical universe of Scarlet Aura continues to take shape.
The production preserves the power and energy that define the band while combining them with a sensitive, cinematic atmosphere in which the vocals, instruments and every sonic detail support the song’s deeply personal message.
“We built the song in such a way that emotion would remain at its core. Every instrument, every voice and every production detail had to tell the same story: time moves forward, but certain things continue to live within us,” says Mihai Dănciulescu, Scarlet Aura’s guitarist, sound engineer and producer.
The official music video was directed by Laurențiu Tomoroga and visually translates the universe of the song, transforming memory into a living presence capable of bringing the past closer to the present.
“Amintirile” is the second single from “Pe Aripile Vântului,” Scarlet Aura’s third Romanian-language record and the eleventh album of the band’s career.
The new material explores themes including resilience, freedom, belonging, family, love, loss and the strength to carry on, while preserving the message that defines Scarlet Aura:
“You are not alone.”
With the release of the song, Scarlet Aura invites listeners to become part of the story and answer the question:
Which memory would you relive for just one day?
The song is available on all major digital platforms: Spotify/Apple Music.

Finnish melodic death metal act Noumena has released their new single “Tyhjyys” (The Void), the third single from their upcoming album Maanääri, set for release this August. The release is accompanied by a music video.
The track dives deep into a world defined by uncertainty and loneliness. Its fragile, beautiful melodies combined with crushing riff barrages carry an overwhelming weight of sorrow, disappointment, and even fury. The song’s relentless drive leaves no room for the listener to waver.
“It is a captivating and atmospheric piece about the search for a lost connection,” describes guitarist Markus Hirvonen. “The acoustic intro riff was born during a sleepless night when I let the feeling of emptiness and sorrow flow directly into the guitar. While jamming alone in my house, the phrase ‘Tyhjyydessä kaikuu taas’ (In the void, it echoes again) came to mind, and the whole song and its parts began to build around it as if by itself.”
The lyrics were written in collaboration by Hirvonen and bassist Hannu Savolainen. The track’s striking three-vocalist arrangements were crafted together in the rehearsal room as a result of the band’s collective creative process.
Guitarist Ville Lamminaho oversaw the concept and production of the “Tyhjyys” music video, continuing the band’s self-directed visual journey following their previous video, Surunkehrä. The video weaves elements of emptiness, longing, and rage into a dark narrative where love leads astray and dreams are buried one by one.

“False Idols”, the new single by THE AUTUMN AURORA, is out now on all major digital platforms via Volcano Records. The track is accompanied by an official music video, available on the band’s YouTube channel.
“False Idols” explores the loneliness of those confronting a society dominated by propaganda, appearances and false models imposed by politics, religion and mass media. It portrays a distorted reality in which the weakest are crushed rather than protected, while the promises of false prophets serve only the interests of those in power. That same loneliness, however, becomes a source of clarity and awareness. Stepping away from the media spectacle means rediscovering oneself and rejecting a world built on money, easy smiles and illusions—a world that no longer belongs to those who refuse to become victims of its false idols. Musically, the track pushes The Autumn Aurora’s post-punk and darkwave identity to its limits. Synths and analogue orchestral pads intertwine with the lines of two electric basses: one builds the groove alongside the drums, while the other takes on the role of a lead guitar, using chorus, flanger and delay to create cold, spectral atmospheres. Completing the sound is Vera Perkins’s deep and theatrical voice.
The official music video for “False Idols” is available on The Autumn Aurora’s YouTube channel:
Glasgow’s THOSE MADE BROKEN have premiered a hard-hitting new music video for “Echo Chamber” ahead of their slot at Hammerdown Festival and the release of their sophomore album, ‘A Door You Can Never Close,’ on 1st September.
“”Echo Chamber” is an attempt to come to terms with the world we find ourselves in today, one where fanaticism and terrorism are sold to us by the western media as freedom and righteousness,” says lead vocalist Murray. “What can we do about genocide in the Middle East we’re expected to either ignore or be complicit in? How do we realistically stop climate change in the face of rampant capitalism and denial? How do we logically and practically fight the rise of the far right in UK politics? ‘I’m screaming at the tide….’ It sums up the sense of hopelessness I feel.”
(Viewer Discretion Advised: The video contains scenes that some viewers may find disturbing and carries an 18+ certificate. It is a cinematic work of fiction, all roles are played by actors, and no real harm was caused during its production.)
That sense of pressure, frustration and powerlessness is reflected in the song’s imposing yet carefully balanced sonic: a tension that runs throughout ‘A Door You Can Never Close.’
To anchor the album’s heavy-yet-spacious wall of sound, the band tracked the core instruments at their own Hawkhead Studios before moving drum production to London’s historic Battery Studios. Working inside Rogue Studios alongside producer Michael ‘Mykey’ Kew (A New Tomorrow), they tapped into the deep, cavernous room resonance of a tracking space legendary for hosting sessions by Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and Def Leppard classic records. The final master mix leans into a massive, groove-laden low end, allowing a powerful distortion to sit seamlessly alongside fragile, melodic open space.
“We are incredibly proud of this album; it’s the culmination of two years of hard work and genuine soul-searching,” says Murray. “It sounds like a band that has honed its craft on a live stage. There’s a raw, visceral release here, but there is also a fragile gentleness that we hope connects with the listener. We made this record simply out of an absolute love for the music, and it represents a moment in time and a legacy we take immense pride in.”
Those Made Broken’s creative foundation stems from a Glasgow music college, where singer John Murray and guitarist Scott Wood initially bonded over an expansive love for music; bridging the intense, heavy sludge of Soundgarden with the emotional intimacy of Tori Amos. Now completed by bassist Paul Robertson (ex-Dirt) and drummer Martin John ‘Hutch’ Hutchison (ex-Vega), the lineup thrives on a collective creative synergy. By blending elements of grunge, melodic rock, and legacy thrash, On the new LP Those Made Broken deliver a pure, high-energy performance focused entirely on striking riffs and massive, memorable choruses.
