Finnish rising force of modern heavy metal, Crimson Day, is proud to announce the signing of a worldwide distribution deal with WormHoleDeath Records for the release of their highly anticipated new album, Dark Dimension.

Blending crushing riffs, atmospheric depth, and emotionally charged songwriting, Dark Dimension marks a bold new chapter for the band. The album explores themes of inner conflict, alternate realities, and the shadows that shape human existence—delivered through Crimson Day’s signature fusion of melodic intensity and relentless heaviness.

About Crimson Day

Formed in Tampere, Crimson Day has built a boundary-pushing sound rooted in heavy metal and enriched with melodic depth and cross-genre influences. Since their 2013 debut and early releases through Iron Shield Records, the band has released three studio albums, multiple acclaimed singles, and high-profile covers of Led Zeppelin, Bonnie Tyler, and Shakira, earning strong international fan response and radio airplay across the USA, Brazil, Germany, France, and beyond.

Inferno is hosting the exclusive full-album premiere of QWÄLEN’s upcoming third record, “Veri Virtaa Edelleen”, set for release on March 6th, 2026 via Time To Kill Records.

With this new work, QWÄLEN push deeper into their raw and confrontational domain, merging scathing black metal intensity with the urgent drive of punk. The result is a relentless yet atmospheric statement that sharpens their identity without sacrificing the primal essence at the core of their sound.

“Veri Virtaa Edelleen” explores the decay of human reality, the dismantling of kings and gods, and the cyclical nature of fraternal violence. Rooted in the spirit of black metal while refusing its narrow confines, the album stands as QWÄLEN’s most direct and uncompromising chapter to date.

Formed in 2017, QWÄLEN channels the raw musical backgrounds of its members – active in bands such as Kürøishi, Viimeinen Virhe, Letterbombs and Hoc Est Bellum – into a distinctive interpretation of black metal built on simplicity, rawness, speed and honesty. These foundations shaped their debut, “Unohdan sinut”, which explored self-portrayal, loss, rebuilding, abandonment, misanthropy and Satan. Their second album, “Syvä hiljaisuus”, turned its gaze toward humanity’s sheep-like nature, the inevitability of destruction, the acceptance of flaw and the surrender to greater forces. The new album continues in this vein, embracing the decay of human reality, the fall of kings and gods and the sinister repetition of brotherly violence – motifs that, for QWÄLEN, mean nothing and yet define everything.

As with their previous record, the album was tracked at Waiting Room Recording Studio in Tampere with Mikael Neves, who also handled the mixing. Mastering was completed at Enormous Door by Jack Control, while artwork and layout were created by the always formidable Jussi Pohjanen.

Shadowspawn hails from the greater Copenhagen area in Denmark and has existed since 2013. They released several critically acclaimed records (“Ashes of Sorrow” (EP, 2015), “Hope Lies Dormant” (2017), “The Biology of Disbelief” (2021), “Blasphemica” (2023))  and established themselves as a powerful force on the Danish metal scene. They are known for their uncompromising blend of groove, black, and old-school death metal, Shadowspawn masterfully balances brutality, heaviness, and technicality!

With “Cadaver Dogs“, Shadowspawn unleashed a landmark album that both expands the band’s musical horizons and cements their ability to craft a cohesive sound where groove and darkness go hand in hand with crushing intensity.

The material for the new album was recorded at Corpsekennel Spawncamp. All was mixed & mastered by Kelvin Dam. Cover artwork was designed by Swedish artist Henry Pyykkö, and the layout was created by Jess Larsen. Album was released on February 20, 2026 in digital format (here) and CD by Polish label Via Nocturna (order).

Multi-platinum hard rock heavyweights Drowning Pool return with a ferocious new collaboration, teaming up with rising active rock force Sorry X on their brand-new single, “THE WRONG ONE,” out now through SBG Records.

The collaboration was sparked after the band discovered Sorry X’s brutal reinterpretation of Drowning Pool’s iconic anthem Bodies online.

“We stumbled on Sorry X’s cover of ‘Bodies’ and were impressed by the sheer brutality of her vocals. On top of that Alexa sings amazing. We knew we had to collaborate on something so we reached out,” says CJ Pierce.

LYRIC NOEL Release New Single And Video ‘Shades of Black’

Lyric Noel officially enters a new chapter with the release of “Shades of Black,” their first single in partnership with Judge & Jury Records. With this release, Lyric Noel sets out to openly confront mental disorders—bringing deeply personal experiences into the spotlight rather than keeping them hidden.

“Shades of Black” arrives alongside an accompanying music video and serves as the second entry in a larger conceptual body of work. The first single, “Blood in the Water,” released independently in September of 2025. 

Lyric Noel’s forthcoming album, due later this year, explores different mental disorders, with each release unveiling a new chapter of the story. Every song introduces a distinct character, each one personifying a specific disorder, gradually revealing the full scope of the album. 

“‘Shades of Black’ explores the emotional extremes of living with borderline personality disorder and suicidal ideation, where the world is perceived not in absolutes but in shifting shades of darkness. The song centers on the symbolism of the Black Dahlia, representing death, depression, and the contradiction of beauty existing in pain. Rather than offering resolution, ‘Shades of Black’ gives voice to an often unseen internal battle and creates recognition for those who live inside it,” shares the band.

Lyric Noel is built around personifying Lyric Hollar’s lived experience with different mental illnesses and emotional struggles. This project exists to say the things people are usually expected to carry quietly, the intrusive thoughts, the instability, the exhaustion of trying to appear okay. Lyric writes from inside that reality, not from metaphor or distance, turning pain into something raw, visible, and honest. The work does not soften or romanticize struggle, but it does make it beautiful in its truth, giving listeners language and reflection for experiences they already know but rarely hear spoken out loud.

The song was shared by the Ukranian government official social media pages during the Russia Ukraine war. After that, the band decided to release a full version of the song.
