Silver Horses present the official video for “World On Sale,” the closing track from their album Weird Tales (Elevate Records, 2026), available on YouTube since August 11, 2026.
A bitter, dystopian sci-fi story: a group of con-artist aliens sells Earth to another alien race, marketing it as the wonderful planet it once was. But when the new buyers arrive, they find a world devastated by pollution and human neglect, populated by survivors now reduced to lobotomized zombies. The perfect scam — for a planet humanity had already sold out on its own.
In the animated, surreal video, a gang of rats aboard a rickety spaceship runs the deal. The result is a fierce, visionary satire that pairs perfectly with Silver Horses’ powerful, cinematic sound.
After three decades, the metal world looks back on Type O Negative’s defining 1996 album, “October Rust”.
Released on August 20, 1996, October Rust became Type O Negative‘s biggest album success of their 90s era and the definitive international breakthrough for the band. After Bloody Kisses(1993) also shone with huge success in the US and Germany—long since reaching platinum status—October Rustachieved chart positions previously unprecedented for the group: hitting #42 in the US, #26 in the UK, and #5 in Germany.
The record earned its gold status starting right with its release; feedback from critics as well as their fanbase remains overwhelming to this day. Classic songs ranging from “Love You To Death” to their cover version of Neil Young’s “Cinnamon Girl” remain unforgettable, full of character, and indispensable in a nostalgic look back at the 90s doom and gothic metal scene.

Wormholedeath is pleased to announce the release of the official music video for “The Forsaken Redeemer,” the latest visual offering from Basque black metal project Aschen. The track is taken from the band’s debut album, The Never Ending Search, available now via Wormholedeath.
Inspired by the Passion of Christ, the song portrays the agony of a savior rejected and ultimately executed, using his story as a metaphor for a society that has stripped all meaning from truth itself, where any narrative can be questioned, manipulated, or erased when it conflicts with selfish interests and structures of power.
Musically, the song features a slow, heavy, and repetitive riff, hypnotic guitars with subtle oriental nuances that draw the listener into a near-trance state, acoustic guitars, spoken words, and a finale that is as aggressive as it is agonizing and ecstatic—making it arguably the most ambitious and complete track on the record.
The accompanying video combines public domain footage from vintage films with newly shot material, constructing a visual narrative around the song’s themes.
The Never Ending Search
Aschen’s The Never Ending Search explores dynamic contrasts, blending black metal with doom-laden passages, blast beats, crushing riffs, melodic textures, and emotional depth. Sung in both English and Basque, the album moves beyond traditional genre themes to explore inner conflict, societal decay, and humanity’s fractured relationship with the natural world.
Its artwork, created by Mikel Telletxea, reflects this concept through an endless fingerprint-shaped labyrinth—a symbol of a search with no clear exit, both inward and outward.
Founded in 2022 by Mikel Telletxea (vocals, guitar, programming), Aschen began as a solo project before evolving into a creative partnership with the addition of bassist Atauzz (Korkut, Kurkuma, 2Sonte).
The duo recorded the debut at Atala Studios in Spain, capturing the project’s raw energy with precision. The album was mastered by Toni Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden, whose credits include Dimmu Borgir, Katatonia, and Kreator
SMASH INTO PIECES have released their new song and official music video ‘Miracle’.
The band shared:

MIRACLE is about those moments when everything around you starts falling apart – when the noise gets louder, the darkness gets heavier, and finding a way forward feels almost impossible.
But somewhere in all of that, there’s still a spark.

MIRACLE is out now everywhere.

Rising alternative metal band Beautiful Skeletons have released their album, Pulse/Line/Scar onAugust 21st via WURMgroup. Produced by legendary heavy music producer Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Static-X, Breaking Benjamin, White Zombie), the album captures a band unafraid to tear everything apart in pursuit of something honest, powerful, and enduring. Coinciding with the album’s release, Beautiful Skeletons have also premiered the official music video for “Myrkur,” giving fans a powerful visual to one of the album’s standout tracks.
More than a collection of songs, Pulse/Line/Scar serves as a deeply personal yet universally relatable body of work, exploring resilience, identity, loss, and the invisible threads that connect every human experience.
The band shares, “Pulse Line Scar is a universal anthology of lived stories, brought together by the thin red pulse line that connects us all, the same line that brings us life and the same line that leaves a permanent impression.”
Pulse/Line/Scarshowcases a band that has found strength in vulnerability and purpose through perseverance. Every track reflects the tension between chaos and clarity, pain and healing, creating an album that is as emotionally immersive as it is sonically crushing.
With Pulse/Line/Scar, Beautiful Skeletons are poised to establish themselves as one of alternative metal’s most compelling emerging acts, delivering an album that doesn’t simply ask to be heard, it demands to be felt.
Beautiful Skeletons didn’t come together cleanly and that’s exactly the point.
The band was formed in 2017 after guitarist Einar posted a Craigslist ad searching for a vocalist. What began as an instinctive collaboration gradually evolved through lineup changes, setbacks, and creative discovery. Over time, the project transformed from an idea into something none of the members were willing to walk away from—a defining commitment that became, in their words, a “do or die decision you can only make once.”
That commitment intensified in 2022 when the band received management support and hit the road alongside Yngwie Malmsteen. The experience offered an unfiltered look at the realities of the music industry and solidified their determination to push Beautiful Skeletons beyond potential and into purpose.
Trying to categorize Beautiful Skeletons has never been easy—and they prefer it that way.
Drawing inspiration from Deftones, Alice In Chains, Sevendust, Korn, and Nine Inch Nails, the group seamlessly blends crushing riffs, haunting atmosphere, soaring melodies, and modern heaviness into a sound that refuses to stay confined to one genre.
That fearless approach reached its fullest expression during the recording of Pulse/Line/Scar. Recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Ulrich Wild at WURMgroup, every song was challenged, dismantled, and rebuilt until it carried the emotional and sonic weight the band envisioned. The process forced Beautiful Skeletons to confront not only their songwriting but also their identity as musicians, resulting in their most focused and powerful work to date.
