Chart-topping veterans THEORY OF A DEADMAN are proud to release their new single, “Funeral Song,” taken from the upcoming EP, ‘Part 1: Funeral Songs,’ set for release on September 4, 2026 via ONErpm.
Marking a new chapter for the band, comprising Tyler Connolly, Dave Brenner, Dean Back, and Joe Dandeneau, the upcoming EP delivers their signature mix of gritty riffs, anthemic hooks, and unfiltered lyricism with a renewed sense of urgency.
On the new track, Connolly shares:
“We’ve all had that person that we wish would go away or just crawl up and die. That’s the anthem here with ‘Funeral Song.’ But like a lot of things we do over here at the THEORY headquarters, it’s to be taken in jest as we always promote taking the moral high ground. Ironically after all these years this is the first song we’ve written about a ‘DEADMAN.’“
THEORY OF A DEADMAN have carved out their own lane as one of modern rock’s most unapologetic forces, racking up multi-platinum hits, chart-topping albums, and sold-out shows worldwide. Blending witty, candid songwriting with undeniable riffs and massive melodic hooks, the Canadian quartet—Tyler Connolly, Dean Back, Dave Brenner, and Joe Dandeneau—have built a career defined by both attitude and staying power.
From fan favorites like “Santa Monica” to gold-certified hit “All Or Nothing,” platinum singles “Hate My Life” and “Bitch Came Back,” and the double-platinum “Not Meant To Be,” the band has delivered a steady stream of rock staples. They’ve landed twelve Top 10 hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart, including four #1 singles: “Bad Girlfriend,” “Lowlife,” “History Of Violence,” and “Rx (Medicate).” The latter stands as the biggest hit of their career, earning a nomination for “Rock Song of the Year” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Along the way, TOAD have achieved two Top 10 debuts on the Billboard 200, four Top 5 debuts on the Canadian Albums Chart, and multiple Juno Award nominations, while drawing praise from outlets including American Songwriter, Billboard, and Classic Rock Magazine.
Now, THEORY OF A DEADMAN are ready to further their prolific career with the release of their new EP, ‘Part 1: Funeral Songs,’ out on September 4th with ONErpm.

Formed in 2015 in Dukla, southern Poland, KALT VINDUR have steadily built their reputation as one of the most distinctive acts emerging from the Polish black metal underground. Blending melody, atmosphere and raw intensity, the band developed its own artistic identity, often described as Subcarpathian Black Metal.
Following their debut album “Delusions” (2017) and the critically acclaimed “And Nothing Is Endless” (2020), KALT VINDUR entered a new chapter in 2023 by signing with the Greek label The Circle Music. The collaboration resulted in the release of “Magna Mater” (2024), widely regarded as a breakthrough album in the band’s career and a milestone in the evolution of their sound.
Now, KALT VINDUR return with their fourth full-length album, “The Void Of Time“, scheduled for release on November 27th, 2026 via The Circle Music.
Building upon the foundations established by “Magna Mater“, the new album further refines the band’s musical vision. Rooted in black metal yet driven by strong songwriting, expressive melodies and emotional depth, “The Void Of Time” balances aggression with atmosphere while showcasing KALT VINDUR‘s most mature and cohesive material to date. The album embraces both darkness and melancholy without losing its sense of grandeur, creating a powerful and immersive listening experience.
“The Void Of Time” was produced by Artur Szydło and Krzysztof Kokosiński, who also handled mixing and mastering duties. Lyrics were written by Wojciech Kozub, while all music was composed by Artur Szydło. Drums and vocals were recorded by Grzegorz Gnat at Regnat Audio Studio in Cieklin. Additional synths on the outro of “Jesień” were performed by Krzysztof Kokosiński, while Artur Szydło contributed synths and bass guitar to “On The Way To…”. The album artwork was created by acclaimed artist Maciej Kamuda (Blut Aus Nord, Spaceslug, Sunnata), with layouts and additional artwork prepared by Paweł Kuranda (Zørormr, Doctor Visor). Band photography was done by Karol “Panku” Pankiewicz.
The album will be released digitally (pre-save), on jewel case CD, and on vinyl in two colour variants (transparent marbled blue & black and marbled pink & black). Pre-orders are available via The Circle Music webshop.
Artur Szydło comments:
“The Void Of Time is another step deeper into our musical world. It was created without calculations or any predetermined plan, evolving naturally as a flow of energy translated into sound. Perhaps it is slightly rawer in places, yet it remains deeply rooted in melody and emotion. Although black metal continues to be its foundation, musicality and sincerity of expression are what matter most to us. Those elements give each composition its own distinct character and depth.“
KALT VINDUR presents the official video to the title track “The Void Of Time“, now available on all streaming platforms (single pre-save). The video is being premiered worldwide by Invisible Oranges and in Poland by KVLT.

With the release of their searing new single ‘Hurricane‘ on 24th July, Mason Hill also announce the release of their highly anticipated new album ‘World So Wonderful’ in October. The album was recorded with Dan Weller, and pre-orders will start on the 24th July.
The band state:
Matthew Ward (bass): “A couple of years ago this album seemed like it would be an impossible task. To be sitting here, finally discussing launching the pre order feels like we just climbed Everest and made it to the top!
This album is the next step in the evolution of Mason Hill, it’s more fierce, more refined, and hungrier than ever. This one is for everyone that kept believing in Mason Hill. I can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on it.”
Tom Ward (vocals): “We have poured our heart into this album and we’re all truly elated with the finished product – I feel the exciting synergy that we’ve found in this writing relationship has delivered a new and revitalised Mason Hill.
Whether you’re a long-term fan, or recently converted ,there is honestly something for everyone on this album, with riffs so crunchy you’ll need a neck brace after your first listen.
Coming into this as a newbie, working with Dan Weller was an amazing experience, he really helped me unlock my own style and take a new approach to writing which I’m forever grateful for. This is a dream for me and I’m super proud of the boys and can’t wait to unleash it on the world.“
Mason Hill have been no strangers to adversity over their 10-year existence. They’ve endured false starts, botched record deals and a six-year gap between 2015’s eponymous debut EP and the release of ‘Against The Wall’. Even the latter landed during the height of the Covid pandemic, meaning the band weren’t initially able to tour in support of it. The departure of former singer Scott Taylor at the end of 2023 was just the latest obstacle they had to overcome.
“There have been times over the years when we weren’t even sure we’d be able to keep on being a band,” says James Bird. “Even just before Tom came in, we were so close to saying, ‘Well, we tried, but let’s call it a day.’ But there’s a stubbornness and determination and passion in us that has kept us going. The new music was obviously still Mason Hill, but we didn’t want it to be a copy of the first album”, he adds. “All the good stuff and the bad stuff, I’m glad it happened in a sense,” adds James. “Because without it we wouldn’t be in this place we’re in right now, talking about new songs, which I couldn’t be more excited about. We’re so ready to get back out there. This is who we are now. This is Mason Hill.”

Following the successful release of their debut album Winners Write History in 2024, Swedish female-fronted rock band MARYLANE have returned with their highly anticipated sophomore album, Seventh Sense, released on July 17, 2026. Today, the band has released the official music video for the album’s focus track, “SEVEN.”.
A powerful and emotionally charged anthem, “SEVEN” explores the internal struggle of battling personal demons while searching for peace and clarity. Blending soaring melodies, hard-hitting riffs, and heartfelt lyricism, the track showcases the band’s continued evolution while remaining true to the powerful rock sound that first captured listeners’ attention.
The album was mixed and mastered by renowned producer and guitarist Andy La Rocque at Sonic Train Studios, bringing a polished yet dynamic sonic landscape that perfectly complements MARYLANE’s energetic and emotional approach to modern rock.
Once upon a time, nestled in a corner of the bustling city, there existed a magnificent amusement park named Marylane, which was operated by Marymaker the Clown. He was perceived by the public as both terrifying and captivating, and there were rumors that he possessed the ability to attract both light and darkness simultaneously, as if he were a master of duality. During the park’s prime, one could hear the excited cheers of visitors from afar and the sound of carousels roaring under the summer sun. However, as the years went by, fewer and fewer people found the time to visit the amusement park, leaving Marymaker with a deep sense of abandonment.
The very thing that he had once been so passionate about now seemed to wither away and rely solely on artificial respiration. Filled with desperation, Marymaker embarked on a journey to find himself, only to encounter chaos and despair at every turn. One evening, while lost in his own thoughts, Marymaker overheard a group of people gathering on the Tivoli stage to compose music. There was one particular melody that caught his attention, as it exuded both sadness and hope. Intrigued, he felt compelled to venture out and discover the source of this captivating music. Could it be that the songs were about him?
Marylane is a swedish rockband formed in 2023 and draws inspiration from vintage sounds infusing them with a modern intimate touch. With their music they delve into the depths of the human experience exploring the paradoxial and existential questions that haunt our minds. Their sound is a harmonious blend of captivating melodies, groovy rythms, ephic choruses and introspective lyrics.
Alternative metallers ENTHEOS announce their new studio album, Empty on the Inside, arriving October 23rd, 2026 via Metal Blade Records, and unveil their first single and video “Golden Crown“, available now on all DSPs.
Comments vocalist Chaney Crabb, “‘Golden Crown’ is a song that we spent a few years writing and re-writing until we felt that we really had it right. The chorus of the song was originally written in 2020, long before we began working on this album, and it was so strong that we knew we had to include it on the album. Once the song was finished, it became obvious to us that this was what we wanted to release as our first single. When writing this song, we channeled a lot of our favorite bands and influences from the ’90s – we were aiming to write a ‘heavier’ version of a ’90s rock song that included creepy synths, huge chorus and an explosive breakdown.
“Lyrically, the song is about losing yourself in a deeply destructive attachment that feels both empowering and imprisoning. The formed relationship has become inseparable from your identity. The lyric, ‘I’ve worn you like a golden crown year after year,’ represents a burden that is destroying you, but has also become how you define yourself.”
Empty on the Inside is the most ambitious and fully realized album of ENTHEOS‘ career. Featuring vocalist Chaney Crabb (voice actress for Jill Valentine in Dead by Daylight) and multi-instrumentalist Navene Koperweis (ex-Animals as Leaders, Animosity), alongside guitarists Scott Carstairs (Fallujah) and Michael Stancel (Allegaeon), the record captures the band at their most collaborative and creatively unified. The result is a record that delivers the jaw-dropping musicianship and progressive intensity the band is known for while embracing tighter songwriting, stronger hooks, and a deeper melodic presence – channeling the raw, visceral energy of 90s rock and metal into something wholly modern and entirely their own.
States the band, “Empty on the Inside is a statement piece for us. From the start, our goal was to capture the raw, visceral energy that made ’90s rock and metal so impactful and timeless by prioritizing authentic performances and our individual voices as musicians over hyper-polished modern production.”
Empty On The Inside was produced by Mark Lewis (The Black Dahlia Murder, Fallujah, Whitechapel) and mastered by Justin Sturtz at Sterling Sound. The album’s striking visual artwork was created by Zac Shiffer (Nine Inch Nails, Behemoth, Soundgarden).
