Blackened atmospheric death metal project Frostmorner has unveiled the official visualizer for “Demiurge,” the latest offering from the acclaimed debut album Orbital Kaos, out now via Wormholedeath.
Ambitious in both scope and vision, “Demiurge” is a track that dares to ask one of existence’s questions: what if the universe itself was born from music? Drawing on the ancient philosophical archetype of the Demiurge, the primordial creator of all things, Frostmorner weaves a cinematic narrative in which musical creation and cosmic birth are one and the same. The Demiurge composes. The music plays. And from that music, a universe erupts into being. The vision is epic and majestic, with imagery that captures the vastness of the cosmos and the immense power of music.
In the final act, the narrative shifts to the universe’s end—evoking the death of a star and the return to singularity.
Orbital Kaos is a collection of self-contained worlds, each track its own standalone entity, orbiting a single, unifying force: Kaos. Not chaos as disorder, but Kaos as the primordial state from which all things emerge.
Hailing from Sicilian roots, Mario began the Frostmorner journey in 2019. After evolving from a collaborative effort into a solo powerhouse, Frostmorner has carved out a distinct niche in the Blackened Atmospheric Death Metal landscape. Handling all duties from guitars and drums to artwork and design, Frostmorner represents the ultimate DIY spirit in extreme metal, earning acclaim from fanzines and radio stations worldwide.
Transatlantic Radio, the international AOR supergroup based in Los Angeles, are pleased to announce the release of their debut album “Midnight Transmission”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.
The focus track “All For You”, along with an official visualizer, is also out now.
Victor Brodén commented: “All For You” was written by our keyboard guru Fred Kron and it shows his strong pop leanings with infectious melodies and mesmerizing instrumental synth sections that are reminiscent of the glory days of Toto. Lyrically, it is about a man realizing that no matter what he did, it was never enough for the wrong woman. This story is still baked into a giant arena-ready mega chorus!”
Brodén stated: “The completion of this album is a love letter to the music that shaped my life, musically and otherwise. The guys in this band took what was a casual idea and turned it into something beyond my wildest dreams. Mattias Osbäck is truly one of the greatest rock voices of this generation with a rough edge that brings our big, sweeping melodies to life and gives them attitude”.
“RJ Ronquillo, on lead guitar, is a legend in his own right and a role model for guitarists around the world as well as one of the world’s most watched six-string heroes with his YouTube channel”, he continued. “His work on this album makes me grin ear to ear. Chris Reeve on drums is one of the most sought-after touring drummers in the world right now, and a bass player’s dream come true. Him agreeing to join this project is still mind boggling to me. Fred Kron on keyboards, my partner in production for this project, is nothing short of a wizard. There would be no Transatlantic Radio without his invaluable input, otherworldly mixes, and his ability to sprinkle magic dust on all of these songs. This is the band I could never have imagined being in growing up, and this is the record I always dreamed of making”.
An inspired celebration of classic AOR with a fresh, modern pulse, “Midnight Transmission” marks the official album debut of Transatlantic Radio, a truly international band founded by Victor Brodén, a Swedish-born bassist and producer now based in Los Angeles.
Conceived during the isolation of the 2020 lockdown, the project was born out of a desire to bring timeless melodic rock back into the spotlight – with a lineup as global as their sound. Fronted by powerhouse Swedish vocalist Mattias Osbäck and featuring American guitarist R.J. Ronquillo (known for his work with Ricky Martin, Santana, Stevie Wonder, and Stone Sour), the band blends European sensibility with American fire.
The lush keyboards of Fred Kron – who had his work featured in Anchorman 2 and High School Musical 2, and longtime member of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! band – add cinematic depth and vintage flair. Behind the kit is Chris Reeve, drummer for Filter and Avril Lavigne, whose dynamic style gives the album its drive and precision. At the center of it all is Brodén himself, anchoring the songs with groove, vision, and a deep understanding of the genre’s melodic soul.
Following a string of well-received singles and video releases, Transatlantic Radio made their live debut at the Malmö Melodic Festival 2024, where their sound and presence confirmed that this is more than just a studio project – it’s a band with heart, muscle, and chemistry.
Musically, “Midnight Transmission” is a love letter to the 80’s giants of the genre – Foreigner, Toto, Danger Danger, Starship – but it’s no nostalgia act. Each track balances polish with punch, fusing massive choruses, slick arrangements, and emotionally charged performances with crisp, contemporary production.
Packed with arena-ready anthems, the album showcases a band fully aware of their influences, yet unafraid to carve their own path forward. “Midnight Transmission” is more than a debut – it’s a statement: melodic rock is alive, and Transatlantic Radio is here to carry the signal.
“Midnight Transmission” Tracklist:
1. That’s What You Get (For Falling In Love) 2. City Of Angels 3. Wide Awake 4. Fever Dream 5. The Good Times 6. First To Be The Last 7. All For You 8. Against All The Odds 9. Born To Rise
Line Up: Mattias Osbäck – Lead and background vocals RJ Ronquillo – Guitar Victor Brodén – Bass Fred Kron – Keyboards Chris Reeve – Drums
One of the heaviest bands to emerge from the Philadelphia rock scene is SLIK HELVETIKA. From the glory days of the Philadelphia and New Jersey rock scene of the 80s that spawned Cinderella, Britny Fox, Pretty Poison, John Eddie, and an entire laundry list of artists who went forward to be stars, there was a band called Destroyer. Led by Michael Myers, the band had unknowingly sidestepped all the woes and pressures of being “that commodity” and unwanted influences. Taking some time to let the songs and playing develop to be the best it could resulted in that band today called Slik Helvetika. Lots of driving energy, melody, memorable chorus hooks, great playing and strong lyrics.
The line up has always featured Michael Myers on lead guitar and vocals – who has had the privilege of playing alongside a variety of talented musicians, such as Kjell Benner [formerly of Quiet Riot] and Vern Parsons [Greg Howe]. The newest full release, Walk Through Fire, which drops through Deko Entertainment on February 20th, kicks off with the first single that was released in December Solar Head. Which, begins with an unsettling actual recording of solar wind, then erupts into full ass kicking mode.
Walk Through Fire consists of 13 blistering tracks including a cover of the Sweet’s “Fox on the Fun” and the title track, which the group’s long-time singer/guitarist/songwriter Myers was happy to elaborate on.
“Do you ever feel like you are walking through fire just contending with the daily insanity and events of this world? Question everything! Humans have been giving up their power and potential by letting those who think they are in power create a mental box of falsities and limitations. We all should be different people today than yesterday if we continue to learn as we go. Right? Many stopped asking questions, acquiesced and bowed down to so-called ‘authority figures’ and put the blinders on. Those same authority figures run highly advanced psychological operations to divide us, keep us fighting with each other while they rob us mentally and literally. Those who noticed and objected to this system since birth are not alone.”
Check out the visualizer for “Walk Through Fire” here:
Myers continues, “Is AI becoming all the rage by surpassing humans? Maybe it is surpassing the mentally bankrupted and limited victims. Unlimited humans have potential capacities to walk over red hot coals, to see when blindfolded, detect colors without eyesight, remote view, perform psychokinesis, obtain photographic memory states from sub liminality and so much more. Stop believing you are insignificant. Your thoughts and consciousness create reality. You are more than you are told…..!”

Southern Rockers Hillbilly Vegas are sharing their new single & video for ”I Hope You Know”. The track is the 1st single from the Oklahoma based band’s upcoming album “A La Mode”, which is slated for release in May via Quarto Valley Records.
“I Hope You Know” is a song about the chaos of a relationship that’s deteriorated to the point of no return. The song is driven by guitars with a southern style, rocking blues groove – with just the right touch of grit that the band is known for.
The band’s Steve Harris says “I Hope You Know’comes from a very personal experience in my life, but it’s a moment a lot of people recognize. It can be a romantic relationship, a friendship, family, or even a professional relationship. In my case, it was a professional relationship and a lifelong friendship that slowly deteriorated due to substance abuse. It’s realizing the person you trusted isn’t in control anymore, and that you can’t fix it for them. Sometimes the only thing left to do is let go and hope it gives them the motivation to fix themselves.”
The video for “I Hope You Know”, which was directed by GR1M (Chase Matthews, Crucifix), was filmed in Oklahoma and produced by the band. Harris explains the concept: “With the ‘I Hope You Know’ video, we paid tribute to where we come from and the music that built us. ’70s era rock was the greatest era of rock and roll. We kept it fun – like rock n’ roll is supposed to be and let the visuals reflect that golden age. We shot it at our warehouse during the worst snowstorm the U.S. had seen in 60 years, which forced us to keep it simple. Honestly, that made it even better.”
About Hillbilly Vegas:
Hillbilly Vegas’ dynamic sound caught the ears of an independent label in Nashville in 2011, and their first album “Ringo Manor” was released and sold more than 10,000 copies – driven by the hit single “Little Miss Rough and Tumble”. The band has gone on to chart 5 songs on Billboard’s Rock charts, including “Let It Ride” – which remained on the chart for 13 weeks and reached #10, “Feels Good”, “High Time For A Good Time”, “Hell To Pay”, “Two Gun Town”, and fan favorite “Shake It Like A Hillbilly”.
The band has earned a reputation for rousing live shows – bringing a loud, party-like atmosphere that is all-inclusive. They’ve shown they have a broad appeal across different genres, pleasing crowds while performing shows with rockers Blackberry Smoke, The Kentucky Headhunters, Wolfsbane and Ted Nugent; along with country icons Alabama, Travis Tritt, Blake Shelton, and Wynonna Judd. Hillbilly Vegas has played before huge crowds at NASCAR events, as well as many major bike rallies, including the legendary annual Sturgis Motorcycle rally. They have a strong UK following, and have played the Maid of Stone and Steelhouse festivals. The band is managed by David Spero (Joe Walsh, Cat Stevens/Yusef Islam, Bad Company). Tour dates are being booked in support of the album release for later this year.
Hillbilly Vegas is: Steve Harris – Lead Vocals Stacy Thornburg – Guitar/Vocals Geraldo Dominelli – Guitar/Keyboards (former Loverboy/Paul Rodgers) Todd Ronning – Bass (former Bad Company) Gunnar Molton (Drums)
BADSQUATCH is an American singer/songwriter/producer based in the Midwest. A big man with a big voice, BADSQUATCH is an artist with one overwhelming presence. Adopting such a moniker would suggest nothing less, though along with the rough and gruff appearance, the music that comes out of this massive human ranges from soft and pensive acoustic tunes to bold and abrasive alt rock bangers. The material he creates generally addresses a large range of gritty subjects that are inspired by his own journey of self-discovery and what it truly means to be human.
One may recognize BADSQUATCH from his work as the frontsquatch of midwestern dystopian party rock trio The Party After, who recently released their powerhouse album Dopamine Machine in July 2025. During the recording process for the album, BADSQUATCH also wrote and recorded a large amount of material that didn’t fit the picture for the band, so he is deciding to reach into his personal archives and begin releasing music as a solo artist.
His first single, out February 20th, is a dark and brooding song broaching the subject of self-loathing with inspirations from alternative and industrial artists alike. This release, titled “Such a Burden”, is the first from a collection of songs that BADSQUATCH is considering a concept album/mental health piece rooted in subjects of shadow work and addressing the darker parts of oneself, all with a goal of awareness, healing, and growing into our potentials in this unique human experience.
“To dig deep into the music to come, much like the healing process, we must first start with addressing the darkness and the shadows that are difficult to own,” says Badsquatch.
Badsquatch has officially signed with new management under Pamela Parks at Headity.com. Stay tuned — strategic moves, fresh momentum, and powerful next steps are in motion.
