SOMETHING UNTO NOTHING Reissue Remastered & Expanded Self-Titled Debut Album on Vinyl for First Time

Posted by tarjavirmakari on February 23, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: SOMETHING UNTO NOTHING. Leave a comment

Canadian Juno Award winner and platinum-selling vocalist Sass Jordan reunites with powerhouse multi-instrumentalist Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner, Ozzy Osbourne) alongside bassist Michael Devin (Whitesnake) to celebrate the electrifying reissue of SOMETHING UNTO NOTHING – now fully remastered, expanded with bonus tracks, and available now on vinyl for the very first time via Crown X Recordings.

Originally released in 2013, the self-titled debut captured a raw, unfiltered energy that felt both timeless and urgent. Now, remastered at Iguana Studios in Toronto under the direction of Brian Tichy, the album roars back to life with deeper grooves, richer sonics, and an even greater punch.

The project’s roots stretch back to 2010, when Jordan reunited with Tichy – who had previously played on her 1994 album Rats. What began as a reunion quickly reignited into something bigger. The first song written, “Burned,” set the tone: fearless, soulful, unapologetic rock and roll.

Sass reflects:
“Brian and I have a fantastic creative partnership. There’s a constant flow of inspiration when we’re together – songs just pour out.”

She adds:
“Every track on this album holds echoes of the music we grew up loving. It’s all the flavors you recognize – but reimagined into something fresh and alive. We’re not reinventing rock & roll. We’re celebrating it.

Recorded over two intense weeks in a rustic mountain shack in Canyon Country, the spirit of those sessions remains untouched: no trends, no polish-for-polish’s-sake, no digital trickery. Just musicians in a room capturing lightning.

Tichy describes it best:
“For those who like to look life in the face… for those who move at another pace… Real grooves. Real performances. Real rock.”

KINGSPHERE Release Cover of Trivium’s ‘The Heart From Your Hate’ + Unveil Details of Upcoming Album “Inertia”

KINGSPHERE is a Polish modern metalcore band founded in 2020, steadily building its identity on crushing riffs, infectious melodies, and uncompromising stage energy. The band blends contemporary metalcore with strong influences from old-school melodic death metal and electronic elements, creating a dynamic and multidimensional sound.

From the very beginning, Kingsphere has focused on intensity and emotional depth. Their music balances aggression with melody — massive breakdowns collide with soaring, anthemic choruses and atmospheric synth layers. The melodic death metal influence is especially present in harmonized guitar leads and expressive solos, adding an epic character to their compositions.

So far, band released: “Kingsphere” (2020) and “Enigmatic” (2022). Currently, Kingsphere is going to release their third album, “Inertia”, which represents their most mature and polished work to date. The record was promoted by singles: “Archetype”, “Illusionist”, “Diabolic Nest“, “Rage-Revenge” and “The Cursed Epitaph” — songs that combine heaviness, speed, and catchiness with modern production and a distinctive artistic identity.

Kingsphere continues to prove that modern metal can be both aggressive and melodic while remaining fresh and innovative — delivering music driven by technical precision, emotion, and a powerful contemporary edge.

Music for new album “Inertia” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Marek Kula & Kamil Sikorski. Cover artwork was done by Seeg Design (Metal Commando Fest, Hållbar, Patriarkh, UKĆ). Upcoming record will be released on March 13, 2026 in digital format (pre-save) and CD (pre-order).

TRACKLIST:

08. Psychosis
09. Negation
10. Parasite
11. A Nightmare’s Home
12. The Cursed Epitaph

“Inertia” is Kingsphere’s heaviest and most uncompromising release to date — yet also their most infectious. The album blends relentless riffs, high-energy pacing, and crushing breakdowns with anthemic choruses, strong melodic hooks, and refined electronic layers.
It also marks the band’s best production so far. The modern, polished sound highlights every detail — from razor-sharp guitars and punchy bass to thunderous drums and powerful, expressive vocals. “Inertia” captures Kingsphere at their most confident, intense, and artistically mature.

Let’s check out “The Heart From Your Hate” – Trivium cover played by Kingsphere!

German blackened death metal force BLOODRED proudly announce that their brand-new studio album “Colours Of Pain” is officially out now via Massacre Records.

To mark the release, the band present a brand-new lyric video for “Ashes”, the explosive opening track of the album.

ORDER / STREAM THE ALBUM HERE: https://massacre-records.com/bloodred_colours_of_pain_sale/

Following the previously released official video for the title track “Colours Of Pain” and the powerful lyric video for “Resist”, which showcased the album’s emotional and socio-political depth, “Ashes” now highlights the raw and deeply personal dimension of the record.

Opening the album with crushing intensity, “Ashes” dives into themes of betrayal and disillusionment, capturing the devastating realization that trust can turn to dust. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Alexander Krull at Mastersound Studio, ensuring a powerful and cinematic sound. The striking artwork was created by Stefan Heilemann. A special guest appearance comes from Þráinn Árni Baldvinsson of Skálmöld, who contributes a blazing guitar solo on “Mindvirus”.

LÖMSK Unleash Music Video for ‘Of Iron and Blood’ from Upcoming Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on February 23, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: LÖMSK. Leave a comment

Swedish black metal force LÖMSK has unveiled a brand new music video for the track “Of Iron and Blood”, taken from their forthcoming full-length album “Act II – Of Iron and Blood”, set for release on March 6 via Vendetta Records.

Following the previously released opening track “Fields of Elysium”, the band now presents the title track as a fierce audiovisual statement. “Of Iron and Blood” captures the album’s bleak atmosphere and uncompromising intensity, merging relentless aggression with haunting melodic undercurrents. The video was lit, shot and cut by Martin Strandberg and is available here:

Hailing from Gothenburg, LÖMSK is a black metal entity formed in 2022. Their music stands as a direct response to a world they perceive as rotten and vain. With “Act II – Of Iron and Blood”, the band moves away from the thematic framework of their debut and plunges headlong into the wreckage left behind.

The previous release, ‘Act I’, was a manifestation of creative destruction – the black bile of yore fused with newborn ire, portending eternal return. With a somber gaze cast upon the modern world, LÖMSK emerged as an artistic trial by fire, set to raze the stalemate of vanity and face the numen within.

Through a lens of nihilism and stoic defiance, “Act II – Of Iron and Blood” charts a descent into a world choked by ash and smoke. As towers fall and heavens split, the march continues through valleys of sorrow toward the inevitable entropy awaiting all things. This is the sound of Rome burning – a prayer of violence, whispers beneath skies of iron and blood. Brace yourselves for the upheaval to come.

Tracklist:

  1. Fields of Elysium
  2. Of Iron and Blood
  3. Requiem of Fire
  4. Entropia
  5. The Gathering Storm (not included on vinyl)
  6. Chimaera
  7. Stare Into the Void
  8. Furia
  9. The Silence Thereafter

All music on “Act II – Of Iron and Blood” was written, produced, recorded, and mixed by LÖMSK. The album was mastered by Robert Kukla at Obsidian Recording Studios. Artwork was created by Misanthropic Art, with booklet design and layout by Jacob Fredén.

“Act II – Of Iron and Blood” will be released on March 6, 2026, via Vendetta Records

Heavy, melodic and emotionally charged, Reinvention captures everything The Veer Union have built over years in the scene, refined into their most confident statement yet.

The album also marks the peak of an incredibly successful campaign cycle. Over the past months, The Veer Union rolled out a steady run of singles that kept momentum building, tracks like ‘My Empire‘, ‘Sea Of Fear‘, ‘Caught In The Crossfire‘, ‘Sunk Your Teeth In‘ and ‘Meet Your Maker‘, each showing a different side of the band while staying unmistakably true to their sound. Each release pulled in more listeners, more attention, and more anticipation for what Reinvention would become.

That consistency paid off. With nearly 300,000 unique monthly listeners on Spotify, The Veer Union are proving that their reach is bigger than ever, connecting with longtime fans while constantly pulling in new ones across the global heavy scene. Reinvention isn’t about chasing trends or rewriting the past.
