Blending together all the elements of our signature style of savage death, this track is the first of an epic two-part centerpiece of the upcoming album ‘Ruthless’. Acclaimed British hard rock band INGLORIOUS are thrilled to announce the release of their highly anticipated new studio album, “V”, out on June 6th, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.

Pre-Order “V” HERE

Following the success of the latest single “Testify”, the band share the new single and accompanying visualizer video, “Devil Inside”, available now.

Talking about the new single, bassist Colin Parkinson said: “This song came about via experimentation with lower tunings. I had the riff for a while but couldn’t really find anything to go with it. That was until I watched a Metallica documentary and approached it again. Nathan came up with the verse pretty much straight away and we tried a few chorus ideas before settling on a more melodic approach. I love the song – It’s an impactful, weighty tune that’s also direct and very catchy. Enjoy!”

Regarding the new album, Colin Parkinson added: “I am extremely happy to be returning to Inglorious after a while away. It’s the right time to get some kickass new music out there for the fans and to focus on the future. Writing and recording with Nathan again has been the easiest it’s ever been; it all flowed so well. We’ve all played and sang our asses off on these songs and I know the new album will not disappoint!”

Lead singer Nathan James stated: “In the summer of 2023, I sent a message to Colin and asked him if he wanted to come for a pint. A few meetings and writing sessions later, we had more than an album’s worth of great material and I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every second of creating this album with him and the new line up. Colin has always been a great songwriter and over the years we’ve both matured as artists, writers, performers and people. This is going to be a great year for Inglorious and I’m excited to welcome Colin back and to share this new music with everyone”.

Inglorious returns with frontman Nathan James and original bassist Colin Parkinson. Nathan James, who founded the band in 2014, has been singing professionally for 20 years. He has performed/recorded with artists such as Ginger Baker, Uli Jon Roth and The Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

More recently, he has appeared in Jeff Wayne’s musical version of The War Of The Worlds, Steve Steinman’s Vampires Rock Symphonic, 80’s Classical and Zeppelin Symphonic. Nathan also fronts Supergroup Iconic, under the Frontiers roster featuring Michael Sweet, Joel Hoekstra, Marco Mendoza and Tommy Aldridge.

In 2022, after a lengthy UK tour, Inglorious announced a hiatus. After seven years of non-stop touring with bands such as The Winery Dogs, Steel Panther, The Dead Daisies, Last In Line, as well as their own international tours and festival appearances, recording four original albums, a live album and a covers album, everyone felt it was the right time to take a break.

Nathan is now back, looking forward to unleashing his powerful voice and he joined forces once again with original Inglorious bass player and main co-writer Colin Parkinson, who co-wrote and released the first three albums with the band: “Inglorious”, “II” and “Ride To Nowhere”.

Joining them is renowned guitarist Richard Shaw, best known for his work with English extreme metal band Cradle Of Filth, as well as NG26, Emperor Chung, and Plague Of Angels. Richard brings exceptional musicality and a fresh energy to the band’s sound.

On drums, longtime friend of Nathan, Henry Rogers, completes the line up. A celebrated musician, Henry has played with Touchstone, Mostly Autumn, Mia Klose, and Mark Kelly’s Marathon and has earned accolades such as “Drummer Of The Year” in Classic Rock Prog Magazine and Rhythm Magazine’s list of influential progressive drummers.

Produced by Colin Parkinson, “V” was mixed by Tony Draper, who also worked on “Inglorious II” and “Ride To Nowhere”, ensuring the album retains the band’s signature sound while exploring new heights.

“V” Tracklist:

1.    Testify
2.    Eat You Alive
3.    Devil Inside
4.    Say What You Wanna Say
5.    Believe
6.    Stand

10.    Power Of Truth

Line Up:

Cleopatra Records celebrates Record Store Day, April 12, with one of the most anticipated releases in Todd Rundgren’s catalog, a 2 LP live album recorded on the maestro’s 2008 Arena tour.

Titled from his most recent studio album, the tour caught Rundgren accompanied by his usual A-list band of musical wizards, and a track listing that swung between a host of favorites from solo albums past.

These include a rare airing for the 1972 single “Couldn’t I Just Tell You,” “Love In Action” (from 1978’s Back To The Bars), “Just One Victory” from the seminal A Wizard, A True Star (1973), the monster hit “I Saw The Light” and more.

Alongside these, the album also includes a mammoth recounting of Arena itself. Eleven of the album’s 13 tracks are included, in a solid swathe that picks up at the end of side one, and lasts deep into side four.

Pressed on black/white split vinyl and packaged with informative liner notes by Rundgren biographer Paul Myers, The Arena Tour Live is limited to just 1,000 copies worldwide.

Track List:
LP1 SIDE A

  1. Love In Action
  2. Black Maria
  3. Open My Eyes
  4. I Saw The Light
  5. Mad

LP1 SIDE B

  1. Afraid
  2. Courage
  3. Weakness
  4. Pissin

LP2 SIDE A

  1. Strike
  2. Today
  3. Bardo
  4. Mountaintop

LP2 SIDE B

  1. Panic
  2. Manup
  3. Just One Victory
  4. Couldn’t I Just Tell You

ALLEGAEON Unveil New Video ‘Wake Circling Above’

Technical death metal architects ALLEGAEON to unveil their new video for “Wake Circling Above.” The track comes off the band’s latest full-length, The Ossuary Lens, out now on Metal Blade Records.

Comments guitarist Michael Stancel on the track, “So, one day in our group chat, [vocalist] Ezra [Haynes] was like, ‘Michael, I want something slow and heavy,’ and I was like, ‘DONE.’ I used a lot of inspiration from bands like Dimmu Birgir and Septicflesh to try and build these massive orchestral sections that set the tone as well as some noisy ‘ear candy’ sounds to add more dimension. This is probably the most different song on the record but still has all the ALLEGAEON-isms you’d want.”

Watch ALLEGAEON‘s previously released video for “Driftwood” HERE and “The Swarm” HERE.

ALLEGAEON is wrapping up the final week of their North American coheadlining tour with Warbringer. The Vortex Of Violence Tour began on March 18th in San Diego, California and will conclude on April 12th in Los Angeles, California. Support is being provided by Skeletal Remains and Summoning The Lich. See all remaining dates below.

ALLEGAEON w/ Warbringer, Skeletal Remains, Summoning The Lich [remaining dates]:
4/08/2025 El Corazon – Seattle, WA
4/09/2025 Rickshaw Theatre – Vancouver, BC
4/10/2025 Hawthorne Theater – Portland, OR
4/11/2025 DNA Lounge – San Francisco, CA
4/12/2025 Teragram Ballroom – Los Angeles, CA

The Ossuary Lens serves as ALLEGAEON‘s seventh full-length overall, but it’s the first to feature the return of original vocalist Ezra Haynes since his 2015 departure following the Elements Of The Infinite album. Replacing a singer is no easy task, so the fact that Haynes was in a place to rejoin is reason to celebrate. The cleaner vocal approach on the last three albums was a fascinating artistic maneuver, one that refreshed ALLEGAEON, but it’s undeniably thrilling to hear Haynes’ graveled larynx back in the fold on this inarguably brutal and technically dazzling slab of work.

The Ossuary Lens, while not a concept album in the traditional sense, is a representation of several different viewpoints of death. “Each song is a different topic, however there’s always a different perspective of death tied in,” says Haynes. “Since the entire album revolves around this overarching theme of death, and the different viewpoints associated with it, we found ourselves very attached to the word ‘Ossuary,’ and since the album takes a look at death through different points of view, we found The Ossuary Lens to be very fitting for the album title.”

The record was recorded with producer Dave Otero at Flatline Audio studio in Denver. It marks the sixth album recorded with Otero. It’s of no surprise then that the sound on The Ossuary Lens pummels the listener, though the ferocity is balanced by the overt melodies. It’s the most triumphant and cohesive body of work that they’ve ever laid down.

ALLEGAEON:
Ezra Haynes – vocals
Greg Burgess – lead guitar
Michael Stancel – lead guitar
Brandon Michael – bass
Jeff Saltzman – drums
